A pony named Lance joins the Royal Guard who finds out that both him and Princess Luna have feelings for each other. While Princess Celestia and most of the others enjoy it, one pony doesn't. His name is Sparking Blade, another Royal Guard.

One day, a pony who had created himself working robotic Pegasus wings, joins the Royal Guard. He was then introduced to Princess Celestia and Luna. Luna was more fascinated with him. She and him shared many details, smarts, loving the night, and love. Princess Celestia felt the two would work together. So did Shining Armor and the other guards. All but one who was obsessed with Princess Luna. He dared not to show it. But inside, he was furious.
