Why You Shouldn't Use Random Spells
I had a good life I defeated Alduin and saved the world, I helped the Stormcloaks battle the Imperials and freed Skyrim, and I had two wonderful children. Their names where Raof, and Marned. Even though they often got into fight they were still fun to be with. One day when I was reading a book my steward walked up to me with a note and a tome.
“This is a note for you Towvo and also a tome that was just out on the door step”. He handed it to me and I read the note.
It said “Hello Dragonborn you may want to know who I am but that is not important I have heard all about you and wanted to send you a spell book as a gift hope you have a good life”. I was amused this was the first time someone has sent me a gift. Then my two little bundles of joy came in.
“Pa what do have there”? Marned was curious of everything she saw and Raof he like rushing into fight and well this got him a few scars.
“Well this is a letter from someone but I don’t know who sent it. It also came with a spell book that I was going to try out”. This got them in to a joy fest. They always got into one them every time I was going to perform a new spell.
“PA PA please can we watch you please please”. Marned was jumping with joy.
“Yeah please”. Raof was on his knees praying to let me show them.
“Ok ok I’ll show you”. I got up and opened the spell book and started to read it. This was a very unique book I have never seen one like it. When I had the spell memorized I started to cast is. It was a simple ball but it started to grow at alarming rates.
“Uhhh Pa what’s going on”? Raof started to back up along with Marned.
“Jove get the kids to the basement NOW”. He picked them up and rushed to the basement along with our bard Nined. The ball was growing and growing it started to consume my arms. I felt a burning pain all over as the ball consumed me. I blacked out from the pain.
When I woke up I was on the floor in the main hall. I tried to get up and my arms and legs felt like they were getting eaten by a dragon and I know how that feels. When I looked around everything seem normal. Then the basement hatch opened and out pop my kids, Jove, and Nined. Roaf and Marned ran up to me and started to hug me with all their might.
When they let go they started to their questions. “Pa do….do you know what happened”. Roaf was shaking with fright and you couldn’t blame him.
“I don’t know but it seemed like a teleport spell”.
“But I thought those where gone from Tamriel”. Jove before becoming my steward studied all known spell. He learned that teleport spells where gone because of a single man setting fire to a large where house of them.
“Well that was one. I need you to stay here and guard the house I’m going to find out where we are”. I walked to my armory and picked up my dragon bone armor and sword. Once I got it on I headed to the door and got ready to face what was on the other side. When I opened the door I was greeted with the sight of a village.
I thought that we where teleported to one of the nearby villages but what caught my eyes was small colored horses. Soon more started to show up and stare at mw with looks of fear. When I took my first step they all ran and screamed. Soon the streets where bare. In my thought I said” What is going on was that book covered in dried skooma.
Taking a look around these houses looked like homes in Skyrim. As I neared the town center I felt a sudden push. As I regained my footing I saw a blue horse with a rainbow mane land in front of me. It had a look of hatred on its face. To my amazement it spoke.
“If you know what’s good for you freak you should go back to where you came”. I was not amused by its attitude. When it came at me again I kicked my leg out and it slammed its face right into my boot and I heard its nose break. It fell to the ground holding its nose. Then five other horses came into view.
They ran up to the blue one and started to talk. “Rainbow what happened”.
“Rainbow is this true” the purple one said. The blue one put on a sour face.
“Yeah but it was dangerous”.
“Well I am only dangerous if you mess with me or my family”.
Then the purple one walked over to me and said “Well sorry for Rainbow she can get judgmental on things she never saw before”. She looked just like Marned she looked at me with curiosity.
“It's ok just make sure this doesn’t happen again”. I saw the blue one still held its nose so I walked over to it and prepared a healing spell. I started to heal its nose and heard it crack back into place. Once I turned around they looked at me in shock.
“What what are you looking at”?
“Well…uhh I have never seen anypony use magic without a horn”.
“Well I have never seen anybody use magic without hands”. I chuckled at her dismay this world was so like mine but very different.
“Well I would like to ask some questions about you and your life”.
“Well you can come back to my house and ask them”. I prepared Whirlwind Sprint and shouted “WULD NA KEST”. I was back at the house in seconds and saw those ponies coming and they were almost here. I thought to myself “Man those ponies can run”.

When the ponies finally caught up I opened the door and let them in. When they got in they all looked around in amazement except for the blue one had a look of amazement. The purple one asked “Did… did you build this house all by yourself”. I nodded and that continued to amaze them.
“I have seen better homes” the blue one huffed. This got stares from the rest of them.
“Rainbow how could you say that” the orange one was clearly enraged at her friends rudeness”.
“It's ok back in Skyrim lots of people didn’t like my house but I like it because it was made by my hands”. This got a stare from the blue one. I pulled out some seats from them and called my kids and Jove down here. When my kids got down they stood there looking at the ponies. I knew what was coming so I stopped them before they attacked them.
They took a seat and I motioned for the purple one to start. “Well to introduce ourselves my name is Twilight”.
“My name is Applejack”.
“My name is Rarity”.
“My name is PINKIE PIE”. This one had a set of lungs.
“Uhhh.. My name is Fluttershy”. Even though she was hard to hear I knew what she said.
“My name is Rainbow Dash”. She was my least favorite. She acted just like the rich noble in Skyrim. The Twilight started her questions.
“Ok what is your name”.
“My name is Towvo”.
“Ok next what is Skyrim”.
“Well to answer that I must tell you other things. Firstly the planet is called Nirn. The continent that I lived on was Tamriel. In Tamriel there are 9 provinces and Skyrim is one of them.” I saw she was taking notes.
“Ok next why do you have all those armors and weapons”. I knew this could upset them if I answered wrong they may attack me and I don’t want to harm a new race.
“Well in Skyrim there are many kinds of dangers like wild animals, thief, wars, and madmen. I had to protect myself and we these guys came into my life I had to protect them”. They looked at me while thinking. Then the silence was broken.
“SO YOU KILL THINGS” Rainbow Dash shouted. She stood up and flared out her wings. She tried to rush me but was held back by Twilight.
“Rainbow what are you doing you shouldn’t act like this”.
“Well if that got her made there is one thing you may also want to know. I eat meat”. At this Rainbow broke free and rushed me. I side stepped and she slammed into the door to my bedroom. She came back again but as she came closer I grabbed her leg and swung her around and around.
I threw her into one of my armor stands. She got back up and charged me again and again I beat her down every single time. This went on for a few minutes before I had enough. When she came again I landed a solid punch to her head and knocked her out. There was a tense silence.
The Twilight spoke up. “Huu Rainbow you all ways find trouble and rush into it”. Not wanting her to wake up on the floor I picked her up and put her in my bed. Once I got back I finished up Twilight’s and the girl’s questions. Some of them where what do you do for a living, how old are you, and would I eat them. The last one caused me to chuckle even though I had to eat horse meat before I didn’t tell them.
We were all tired of all the questions. Applejack went back to her farm. I wrote a note to remind me to go over there and get some apples. Fluttershy said she had to go and check on her animals. Pinkie Pie busted out yelling about throwing me a Welcome Party.
Rarity wanted me to come over so she could make me some clothes but I showed her my fancy clothes and that amazed her and wanted to take one home to study. I let her take it as a gift. Twilight picked up Rainbow and took her home. She said she would be back tomorrow. I told Raof and Marned go to bed and I went bed myself.
The next day I got up and fixed breakfast for everyone. Once they were eating I got my normal clothes on. I picked up my dragon bone sword. I told Jove that I will be right back. I walked out the door and started on my way to Twilight’s house.
As I got closer to her house I saw ponies clad in golden armor. In my thoughts I said “Who in their right mind wear gold armor?” As I got closer one of the guards spotted me and ran into Twilight’s house. Soon more guards showed up and they started to surround me. Then a pony clad in purple armor walked up to me and shouted at me.
“You are under arrest by order of the princess”. I did not want to deal with this.
“Why am I under arrest”?
“You have harmed one of the Elements of Harmony and terrorized the town”. Some guards started to come up behind me. When they were close enough I turned and kicked one in the stomach and punched the other one in the face. When I did that all of Oblivion broke loose.
They all started to swarm me with their spears and swords. With my trusty blade I pushed them back. A few would nick me every once and a while but I dealt with them. Some of their blades would shatter when they hit mine. Soon most of them resorted to kicking me.
Then Twilight came running out of her house along with her friends I met yesterday. She walked up to the pony in charge and started to argue with him. Then I heard screaming coming from behind me. When I turned around I saw to most horrible thing I have ever seen. It was Jove running towards me with Rolf in his arms.
I saw blood dripping from Joves arms and he had his hand over Raof’s chest. Everyone turned and saw this.
Once Jove got to me he said “Towvo Raof he… he”. I saw tears streaming down his face. I put my hand on his shoulder and he started to calm down a little.
He started to explain what happened. “Pony guards came and broke down the door. They ordered me to put down my sword when I saw Raof out of the corner of my eye standing between a guard and Marned. The guard ordered him to move so he could handcuff her. When he didn’t the guard kicked him in the chest. When he went down he grabbed the guard’s legs and wouldn’t let go. The guard got angry and brought out his sword and… and”.
I stopped him and told him to hand Raof to me. Once he did I cast a healing spell hoping to help him. I got the shock of my life when the spell didn’t heal him. I tried potions but they didn’t work either. I started to cry my eyes out with the thought my son was dead.
Then a random guard said the most rude and hateful comment. “Well that goes to show him”. He said it like he didn’t have a soul. Everyone stared at him with a look of shock, hatred, and discussed. I lost it I started to turn into one of the most feared forms in Skyrim.
I turned into my beast form. Hair started to grow all around my body, my teeth started to grow sharper. My claws started to come out and my eyes glowed red. I let out the most bone chilling howl and set my sight upon that lone guard. I leapt on him in an instant and started to claw at him.
He jumped back trying to avoid me but as he landed hit lashed out and got him by the leg. He yelled in pain as my claws dug into his flesh. I threw him into a nearby building and he went sailing through the glass. I ran over to the building but was stopped by Jove. He had his sword and shield out and was trying to keep me away from him.
If I wasn’t in my beast mode I would have stopped and calmed down but I was bent on getting to that guard so I grabbed him and threw him into Twilights house with a loud thud. Once I got to the guard I dragged him out onto the street ignoring the cowering ponies in the building. Once I dragged him out onto the street I resumed my attack. There were a few guards who came up to stop me but a growl all ways sent them running. I bite his arms even tearing off some of his skin.
Soon I felt something holding me back. I tried to move but I couldn’t. I was then spun around and saw two large ponies with wings and horns. They both were trying to hold me in place but with all my struggles they soon started to get tired. I was about to break out when I felt something prick my shoulder.
I started to feel sleepy and I tried to stay awake. The last thing I saw and heard was Jove saying “Go to sleep Towvo just go to sleep. Then my world turned dark.

A Jail Cell to a 6 Star Room
When I woke up I felt like my head had been trampled. When I stood up I saw that I was in a jail cell. The inside of the cell was bear. The only thing in it was a bed. I felt in my pockets to see what I had to work with.
I still had my lockpicks and my dragon dagger. I knew why I still had my lockpicks. They must of thought they were just strips of metal. I didn’t know why I still had my dagger. I mean anyone can see it has a sharp edge.
Outside of the cell I could see guards walk around every once in a while. Some would glare at me while others looked at me with sympathy. Some were sorry for my loss. After awhile they stopped coming past and I chose this moment to break out. As I was picking the lock I noticed a strange ring on my finger.
When I was done with the lock I tried to remove the ring but it wouldn’t budge. I tried melting it off with a fire spell but when I got it ready it fizzled out. I tried again but the same thing happened. Ignoring it I opened the door and snuck out of the dungeon.
When I got into the hallways I stood there in amazement. The floor was made of marble and beautiful art lined the hall. Not even if all of the jarl pooled their septims they wouldn’t even come close to afford all of this. As I continued down the hall I noticed a lack of guards. If this is a castle why are there so few guards.
I soon came to a set of large golden doors. I softly said “Laas Yah Nir”. Life signs lit up in the room. There were 2 big ones, 11 small ones, and 3 human size. That confused me Raof died but I see 3 human life signs.
Then a guard’s yells from behind “Hey what are you doing out of your cell”. He started to call for help and I knew this was not going to be pretty if that backup got here.
Hoping to break the door I shouted “ Fus Ro Dah” and sent the doors flying. In the room was The two large ponies, Twilight, her friends, a small purple dragon, And the commander of the guards. The guards in the room charged me in an attempt to recapture me. Even though I only had a dagger I was still deadly.
When they got close I slashed and punched them and they went down in seconds. Then I felt a burning feeling in my hand and saw my dagger shot from my hand. I was defenseless and if I went to get it they would be on me in a instant. When I looked at my hand to see the damage I noticed that the ring had melted off. I cracked a smile as I prepared an ice bolt in one hand and a fire bolt in the other.
I overwhelmed the commander with a quick volley of fire and ice bolts. He tried to fend them off with a ward but it took only 4 before the ward broke. He fell to his knees as I ran up to him. He attempted to shoot off one more spell but before he could I put a spell blocking spell on his horn. Then his spell fizzled out on him.
He looked as if he had seen a ghost he was sputtering and was still trying to cast a spell. I looked up at the two large ponies and they both had looks that had a mix of amazement, slight fear, and anger. I had only one thing to say “So you’re the one who ordered the attack on my home”.
The white one replied “Well yes but from Twilight’s letter it stated you attack Rainbow Dash one of the Elements of Harmony”. I turned and saw Rainbow Dash had a smile on her face. The next words the white one said confused me. “But in all my years I have never seen anypony beat Shining Armour. He has led my royal guards through many things and is one of my best commander”.
I took this as a compliment she had a charm to her that anyone would like. “Also when we took your son to see our doctor a strange item came flying through the door and set it’s self onto his chest”. I thought about it and remembered that that was one of my family’s heirloom. It had the ability to heal any wound no matter what. Then I knew they must of collected everything from my home.
“I know of what you speak it is one of the many heirlooms my family had. Also may I add can you please return everything you took from my home some of those things can never be replaced”.
Then Rainbow Dash yelled like a dying dragon. “Are you serious that THING nearly killed a guard back at ponyville, broke out of jail, and assaulted Twilight’s brother and he is asking for his stuff back”. She flared out her wings and went to charge me. Before she could even touch me I casted a paralyzing spell on her. She fell like a stone in water.
She tried to move but all she could do was shoot glares at me and yell. “YOU BETTER LET ME GO YOU BUC…”. I shoved some torn pieces of my shirt into her mouth to shut her up. All that came from her was muffled yells.
“Ok…. So there is something I want to ask you”. I thought of almost everything she could ask but what she said totally caught me by surprise. “I would like you to be Co captain with Shining Armor to help protect my kingdom”. The room was silent Shining Armour, Twilight and everyone in the room looked at her. I was speech less sure I have fought wars but I have never been asked to become a guard.
“Well… will you do it”. I really didn’t have anything to lose.
“I accept your offer miss”.
“Oh sorry I forgot to tell you my name. My name Is Celestia and this is my sister Luna”.
Shining Armour regained his ability to talk and said “Princess you can’t be serious you want me to work with that thing”. Like Rainbow Dash his attitude annoyed me.
“I have a name you know and it is Towvo so get it straight”. I looked over at Rainbow Dash again and saw her yelling up a storm but you couldn’t hear a thing.
Twilight walked over to me and said “Well let me be the first to tell you thank you for joining the Royal Guards. They need someone like you to help train them”.
“Well I will allow you to stay in my castle until I can see if I can get your house over here in Canterlot”. I didn’t know how she would get my house here but that was at the back of my mind. Twilight and the girls left while telling me how happy they were for me. After they left Jove, Marned, and Raof walked up to me.
“Well Towvo seems like you just made some good friends and sorry for drugging you it was the only way to calm you down”.
“It’s ok if you didn’t there would have been blood shed”.
Both Marned and Raof said “ So pa are we going to stay at nice castle”.
I cracked a smile and brought them into a hug “Yes we are going to be staying here for a little while. Jove go ask Celestia where she is keeping out stuff and go with the kids to get their toys”.
A guard walked up to me and said “ Hi there uhh”
“Dragonborn”
“Dragonborn I am here to show you to your room”. As we walked down the hall I was thinking about a lot of things. When I got to the room I thanked the guard and had a look around the room. There was 4 beds, a large bathroom, and a balcony with a great view. With all that has happened today and the after effects of those drugs Jove put in me I was tired.
I climbed into bed and closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.
