                                                                                     I Love You Daddy

It has been over nine long months since my little Dashie had left my fifteen years of care. I stare up at the moon as I walk, and remember all those memories that slowly patched up the recessed hole in my life. I find my pain unbearable but soothed at the same time, I found it comforting to know that Dashie identified me as daddy even when things turned upside-down.

My heart ignites with love every night, when I open up my memory book, and read the note that my daughter mouth-written before she left me. Since Dashie's departure, my life returned back to the regular old pattern I had fifteen years ago.

One Thursday evening, I was using my P.C. An advertisement popped up on my screen, I accidentally clicked the pop up, which directed me to the French Foreign Legion website. I became a bit interested by the white kepi's that the soldiers wore. Than in fine print, it was revealed to me that, once I enlisted with the FFL, I could take on a completely new identity and forget my past if I was ever unsatisfied with it. I have finally found a way to forget my past and restart in exchange of my service in the armed forces. I grew incredibly exhausted from scanning the article of the FFL and I walked over to my bed to reach over to the note that my daughter, Rainbow Dash, mouth-written to me. I read her note over twenty times before closing my eyes.

Next morning, I walked over to the ATM and checked my account. I had over sixteen thousand dollars in my account, I withdrawn five thousand dollars. The closest travel agency near my home was two miles away, so I walked over to the bus stop and took a seat on the concrete bench. Sitting at the bus stop in seventy degree weather, with the breeze blowing against the trees, instantly reminded me of the time when I sat side by side with Dashie, as she was laying on my lap in the back yard. This memory actually gave me hope, a purpose to live. Suddenly, the city bus arrived, I sat in the back, with my eyes looking out the window. When the bus reached the travel agency, I stepped off the retracting platform of the bus and strolled over to my destination. I had purchased an air ticket to France. Then, I tredded home to pack for my trip.I stood in my living room and stared at the vacant chair that Rainbow Dash always occupied. I walked over to my note pad and wrote,

"Dashie, my loved daughter, I have left for the armed forces in order to bring honor to our little family. If you would like to find me, call, (472)-(293)-(4865). Love and Kisses, Daddy".

I had this note laminated and I left this note on her seat. I locked the door, and saluted my house good bye, then I left for the airport.

The flight took about nine hours before arrival. I took a taxi to Paris and then the first thing I did was enlist with the Foreign Legion. After hours of answering annoying security questions and taking an oath, I was enlisted with one of the world's most elite fighting forces. I turn to the enlisting officer and gave him a salute, then I was out the door with the Eiffel Tower in my view, I was to report to the bus station next week for transportation to the newly constructed base outfitted for training in Digne, France.

After two months of brutal training, I was rewarded the infamous white kepi blanc. A large ceremony was held in Paris to celebrate our accomplishment.  Six F-22 Raptors flew overhead which reminded me of Rainbow Dash's goal in the T.V. Series to become a Wonder bolt. I immediately turned depressed and returned to base after the ceremony, ignoring my team's request for a couple of beers.  I returned to base to read the note Rainbow Dash left for me.

My first deployment in Afghanistan was the most terrifying experience. All of my team was slaughtered by the rebels. I was all alone with my FAMAS rifle dragging behind my legs as I returned back to base with blood on my uniform and beret. Shocked by the horrors of war, I fainted. Five troops identified me outside the gate, rushed to my aid with a team of medics and rushed me to the field hospital. As I awoken, I saw three members from the Military Brony Club bring me a Rainbow Dash balloon. I just sat there and burst into tears, and begged for My little Dashie to return and call me Daddy.

Some of the troops around me yelled at the medics for possibly giving me a over dosage of morphine.

The field medics became worried, that I may have psychological damage, I was immediately to report to the military psychiatrist. I showed the specialized M.D. pictures of my little Dashie and me . The psychiatrist, shocked to see that I actually took care of Rainbow Dash, for fifteen consecutive years, he took an oath that he will never reveal this secret to anyone, even if it was his superiors.  He didn't give me any medications and just winked at me.

I sat in the mess hall with a frown. I rejected any beers given to me.

I walked over to the mission authority office, I asked permission if I could patrol alone five miles away from base, and due to my emotional and psychological condition,my permission was granted. I reported to the armory to receive my service weapon of choice, the FN F-2000 with an Eotech sight and grenade launcher. I also received a ballistic vest with dragon skin inserts. I left base like a timber wolf. I slowly walked into the sunrise.

I had walked for hours and hours over continuous hills and waterfalls.I slowly remembered that day that I had taught my Dashie to fly in the park. Suddenly, there were loud cracks of gunfire that broke my concentration on the nature.

I ran into some large boulders to take cover, and returned fire.

I felt a sudden sharp pain hit my leg.

I turned my radio dial to channel thirteen secured link,

"This is single patrol bravo eight, I'm being engaged in sector thirty seven how copy!"

I yelled into my radio,

My radio returned with static.

"So, this is how it ends isn't it?",

I thought.

Suddenly, in the corner of my eye, there was a triple sonic rainboom. The explosion was so huge, the boulders behind me cracked in half and the rebels that were engaging me were instantly turned to a dust, except me. Rainbow Dash instantly appeared, She floated silently, then she came closer to me and broke the five seconds of silence.

"D-Daddy,"

She stuttered,

"I-is that really ..... you? "

I stood there,

in silence.

A tear came down my cheek.

"D-Dashie, f-for months, I-I thought you would never return to my arms.",

I loudly whispered.

Rainbow Dash suddenly burst into tears and flew down to me and hugged me hard.

I also, burst into tears.

She said,

"I love you Daddy".

My heart instantly ignited with love. Troops from the Singapore Armed Forces encoded my message and came to my aid, rainbow dash hid in my battlepack as the RSAF UN forces came to my aid with a convoy of sixteen humvees and five Black Hawk helicopters. In relief, I was transported back to base with a medical discharge, due to my current psychological state . Dashie and I returned to the U.S.

When I exited the plane, another Foreign Legion officer also discharged, ran to me with a pay check from the FFL that was worth eighty-thousand. When I walked pass immigration, people were clapping and then I was thanked by many people for defending the country. We returned back to our house only to be greeted by yeah, them , the three princesses.

" I am aware that Rainbow Dash...",

Princess Celestia began. I cut her off, then said,

" I know, I know she has to go back to Ponyville right?" .

Princess Luna commented,

"No she can't come back with us anymore".

I asked,

"why not? ".

"You see, Rainbow dash was trying out a new trick, and she flew at incredible speed till when we knew it, her nuclear sonic rain boom burst a hole from our universe to yours. No magic is more powerful than what she did, which means, she will forever live with you."

Luna replied.

I stood there in shock, I asked,

"really?"

the three of them nodded. I looked down at my little Dashie, And said,

"Lets walk to the park."

      THE END.
