"Looking good spike! Looking reeeal good" Spike said to himself as he looked in the mirror. He had a perfectly looking tux and a nice top hat. He was feeling very confident while thinking about the big dance that was happening tonight and how he and rarity would finally get to kiss her. Now the only thing left to so was ask her. Spike knew he had been turned down many times before from her. But this time he was sure she would say yes. After getting washed up and looking all nice He grabbed a big red rose he had picked for Rarity. He proceeded down the stairs towards Twilight.
Spike: See ya twi" He yelled. Twilight: Where are you off to looking so handsome? She replied. Spike: Oh, you know that big dance that happening tonight? Well i'm going to ask rarity to it. I'm looking so good she wont be able to say no! I have my whole night planned out and its going to be perfect. I'm feeling really confident about this and i really hope she will say yes. Twilight: Uh.. Spike.. Don't get you're hopes up, She has turned you down many of times. I Really don't think she is the right mare for you. I Don't think you will be happy with her. Spikes anger finally went away as he neared the carousel boutique. So many thoughts were running through his heads and he reached out and knocked on the door. The voice he heard was not Rarity's voice but Sweetie Belle's. Sweetie Belle: One moment. As she open the door he mouth dropped open. I Even brought you this rose i've picked for you. I came here to see if you would go to the dance with my next week? Its in Canterlot and i have the whole night planned. So what do you say?" He was as happy as ever.
She just simply stared for what felt like hours, until she finally spoke up and said Rarity: Spike.. I'm... i can't. I'm really sorry. I Just don't like you that way. Twilight Sparkle: Oh Spike! You're back! How did it go? Spike answered only with a stare and then dissapeared up the stairs. Twilight though to her self " Oh man. I Knew this would happen.

Twilight: Spike Please come down here! I Really need to talk to you! -There was no reply. So twilight deciding to sit down and started studying. *Knock* *Knock* Came a sound at the door. As twilight opened it she was suprised to see a sad looking filly. Twilight: Sweetie Belle? What are you doing here? Sweetie Belle: I need to talk to you about Spike. It's really important and i didn't know where else to go. Twilight: Oh, alright please sit down. So what can i do for you? Sweetie Belle: I Love Spike!
