The 6 Crowns of Canterlot.

Rarity sighed at the workload on her list. She had to finish Sapphire Shores' ensemble and Hoity Toity's gala outfit as well as design all of the Dresses and Suits for Derpy's wedding.

"Why couldn't her parents name her a prettier name? Like Blondie Bubbles or Floaty Bubbles or Bubbles Shine?!" Rarity thought to herself. She walked to her mannequins and glanced at her designs for the wedding dress.

"Sapphire and Hoity can wait, Derpy is more important!" She cried, throwing the half-finished ensembles into a drawer and using her magic to grab a silvery material, draping it artistically over a mannequin as a black top hat rest itself on the head of the other mannequin.

"Should be done in about a day or two!" Rarity glowed with pleasure; friends before customers, no matter how famous the customer was.

"Oh, uh. Hello Rarity." A shy voice came from the doorway. Rarity looked towards Fluttershy and realised a mistake.

"Darling! I forgot our Spa day didn't I?!" Rarity exclaimed using her magic aura to grab her gown.

"If you don't want to go that's okay with me..." Fluttershy trailer off, glancing at the workload Rarity was under.

"No, we always go to the Spa so we shall not diverse from our goal. I was so busy working I completely lost track of time Darling. No worries, I can complete the order tonight!" Rarity proclaimed, the bags under her eyes and her frizzy mane showing just how stressed she was.

~2 Hours Later~

"That was simply divine! Don't you think Dear?" Rarity practically floated out of the Spa.

"Oh, uh, yes?" Fluttershy giggled at her own nervousness.

"Well, it was lovely to spend time with you Fluttershy but I must get on with my creations. Have a wonderful Afternoon!" Rarity called over her shoulder as she began trotting towards Carousel Boutique.

"I will..." Fluttershy sighed and began the long walk back to her cottage. A sudden scream chorused through Ponyville and Fluttershy's wings suddenly flared up, racing to the sound.

"IT'S SCOOTALOO! SHE TRIED TO JUMP OVER GHASTLY GORGE AND SHE FELL!" Rain Bender screamed, pointing at the orange pegasus falling down through the Gorge. Fluttershy saw nopony helping and her wings hastened to obey her suddenly. She pumped them up and flew after Scootaloo's frail body. She quickly caught up with the filly and Fluttershy took Scootaloo in her hooves. Holding her closely she opened her wings as far as they could reach and tried to slower the descent. The pressure was too much for her wings though and they snapped with the pressure. Bones broke and ripped through the flesh and Fluttershy screamed as she saw the ground rushing forwards to meet her. In a last second attempt to save Scootaloo, Fluttershy rolled over in the air so her back was facing the ground. The sound of her spinal cord shattering upon impact was immense. Scootaloo was covered in the blood of her savour as she dizzily clambered to her hooves. Then Silence.

"Flutter... Fluttershy?" Scootaloo trembled with pain as she realised it had been Fluttershy, the shy and timid mare, that had flown heroically to save her. The laboured breaths of Fluttershy echoed in her mind.

"SHE'S NOT DEAD! SOMEPONY! ANYPONY! SAVE HER PLEASE!" Scootaloo's pleas for help rang empty, unanswered by so many who watched on. A sudden black streak arched through the sky and flew at breakneck speed to reach the dying pony in time. Her hooves crashed on the ground next to Fluttershy and Scootaloo gasped in horror.

"No! You will not kill her you monster!" She pounded her weak fists against the black mare's body to no avail. Chrysalis pushed her away with gentle hooves and touched her horn to Fluttershy's head.

"Why?" The commanding voices of 4 Ponies behind her asked with such authority it nearly made Chrysalis stop. She turned around to see Princesses Luna, Sparkle, Cadence and Rainbow wing to wing.

"Because she would show me mercy when none others would. She was the one who was least happy to banish us. The pony who felt sorry for me." Chrysalis explained.

"But won't she end up like you?!" Princess Rainbow cried, tears of anger and pain forming paths through her fur.

"No. She is a pony. I am only giving her my life essence, not my emotions or diet. She will become Alicorn but not Changeling." Chrysalis focused her last remaining power into Fluttershy and with the power gone she lay still.

"What...? What happened?" Fluttershy squeaked nervously.

"FLUTTERSHY!" Twilight, Rainbow and Cadence all ran to hug her, smothering her with love. Behind them Princess Luna eyed Chrysalis' dead body with unease.

"Perhaps we should move away from the dead changeling?" She suggested.

"Why? She can't harm us..." Rainbow trailed off as green goo exploded from Chrysalis and covered all ponies in the surrounding area except Luna who had a magic barrier around herself.

"...now." Rainbow Dash finished. Fluttershy laughed and subconsciously used her magic to wipe herself clean.

"Wait? I'm am Alicorn?!" She looked at what remained of Chrysalis and herself.

"So she was a good pony in the end." Fluttershy whispered, smiling at the best of Chrysalis.
