Prologue
I sat at the edge of  large room alone. Siblings of young ages, but older than I scattered about the room, playing and being cheerful about everything.
I just sat in the dark corner, playing with some blocks I had managed to get before they took them away and played with it themselves.
Honestly, I don't even think they noticed they're gone.
Like me....

My father was an amazing magic user, the best in all of Equestria, I think.
He used to do shows for us, his children, but of course he never noticed me.
But I sure did know him. He became my idol before long and I began to read more and more books each day, my curiosity growing with each book I finished.
But of course no one cared.
After many weeks, I realized that I was coming to the end of our library's resources. All the books from science fiction to non-fiction intrigued me so. But what intrigued me most, was the magic books.
