Book 1 Darkness - Prologue “Shadows”

I am the Future.

Nothingness. That’s was all around, there was not a single feeling nor a single thought all was emptiness and the “Little Girl” was in that void, even saying she was in the void was wrong because in the void there was nothing but alas she was in there.

The “Little Girl” was part of the void but that was also wrong, she could not feel, hear, touch or even think, but the “Little Girl” knew she was not part of it, of that encompassing nothingness, but how could the “Little Girl” know she was not part of it, she could not feel herself, she dint have the feeling of being part of something nor the feeling she was something.

In the absolute nothingness the “Little Girl” was thinking about why she was not part of it, at that moment it suddenly dawned upon the “Little Girl”. She was thinking, “She” was thinking even in that nothingness, she was not scared or anxious, she was in peace.

“She”… Female. What´s Female?  The “Little Girl” was wondering in her mind. What is scared, anxious? And what is peace?

Not use trying to figure something “I” don´t know how I know.  The “Little Girl” thought throwing away the questions she knew she was unable to answer.

What is this place? Where “I” am? How “I” ended here? That and countless other questions where thought and easily discarded too.

What “I” am?  That was a question that keep appearing again and again in the “Little Girl” mind. “I” mean, I something but “I” in the nothingness. How “I” can be something in the absolute nothingness? How I know “I” in the nothingness?

She passed what seemed like an eternity just thinking new questions and throwing then away unable to give then an answer. Why all the questions I can think have the same answer.

I don’t know. The "Little Girl" thought getting annoyed at the inability to answer even the most basic question.

I feeling annoyed? I can feel? The “Little Girl” mind was running at top speed with the sudden realization that she could feel, but the train of thoughts was Cut Short by a Sudden “Voice”.

“IS STARTING THE TIME IS DUE.”

“What?” The “Little girl” answered with surprise. “Eh?” She say moving her mouth. “I have a mouth?” The “Little Girl” asked trying to move her hands to touch the her mouth but she was unable to feel them.

“I HAVE HANDS?” She Screamed feeling scared about the hands she couldn't feel and at the same time happy that she did have them, but that was cut short by the “Voice” again.

“IS STARTING IS TIME FOR YOU TO SEE.”

The “Voice” was not male or female nor it was strong or weak it didn't even have feelings in it. The “Voice” was simply a voice sounding from nowhere but sounding everywhere.

See? See what? The “Little Girl” thought trying to locate the source of the voice with her eyes.

Eyes? I have eyes? But why I can see nothing? The “Little Girl” was wondering when the nothingness started to change. It was like everything was moving around the “Little Girl”, she was no longer in the nothingness, there is no darkness in the void, in just a instant the darkness shattered assaulting the “Little Girl” with sudden brightness forcing her eyes to close in pain.

“Aghhhhhh it hurtssssssss.” The “Little Girl” screamed closing her eyes with more force trying to make it stop.

“WATCH” The “Voice” sounded. “IS STARTING.” The same voice repeated out of nowhere and everywhere.

“Ok I will watch.” The “Little Girl” answered opening her eyes to see what the voice wanted her to see.

The “Little girl” opened her eyes slowly to avoid hurting then with the brightness.

Steadily and surely she opened then and…
