There are many things to do during a hot day. You may just stay at home, close your windows and take a nap. You may take your blanket and go out in the field to lie down on the ground and sunbathe. You may call for your friends and go out with them for a nice picnic out in the field. Soda, sandwiches, games in the open air - anything!

On such a day, Applejack has to work, and it is not going well at all. Thankfully, her good friend Fluttershy is there to invite her for a sweet watermelon, and to just spend some time with her friend. But the heat is a very tricky thing - it can do many things to your mind. Things you would never suspect it would do.
