Chronology
- Parallel with MLP Season 1, upon Spring's arrival.
Social notes
- After a pony acquires their cutie mark, they may change their name(on the assumption that Twilight Sparkle wouldn’t be Twilight Sparkle if she got a Potion cutie mark, for instance)
Tech Level
-Development centers around agriculture and industry, and less on military sectors.
- IT development is moderate. Computers and networks are available, and the EqueNet is the internet service available within the borders of Equestria.
- Since steam-powered automotive carriages were just recently developed by the zebras and see seldom use within Equestria due to high import cost of coal, most ponies are still using pony-pulled carriages as the main mode of transportation on the ground.
- Weapons have the least development of all, with mostly melee weapons like swords and spears being used by the Equestrian army. Law enforcement use clubs and batons. There are firearms, albeit rare. These were initialled operated by finger and cannot be used by ponies, and were modified to be mouth-operated(MO). These have the buttstock filed off to grip the weapon easily with the mouth. There are firing mechanisms attached to the trigger going all the way to the back of the weapon, requiring one to bite down to pull back the trigger. Same applies to other weapons such as MO rifles. The “bite-triggers” require significant force to activate,to prevent firearms from being set off unintentionally, hence they require a certain amount of skill to operate, and even more skill to aim.
Biology
-Ponies do not have a solid bone at the end of each hoof, instead, the ends are packed with dense muscle fibres, resulting in the ability to form a cleft of sorts in the center of the hoof, giving ponies the limited ability to ‘hold’ small objects(e.g apple, book, stick). These dense muscle fibres also run through the entire leg, allowing ponies to move their hooves(again, in a limited manner) in ways almost similar to reverse-jointed appendages(e.g shrugging, partially wrapping a hoof around something long, like a shovel.
