//-------------------------------------------------------// Ancient Flames -by TheBeyond- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue         Long ago, there was a terrible blizzard raging across the world that threatened to wipe out all of the life on Equis. One day in the heart of that icy storm was  a fire. This flame stands alone amidst the blizzard of the north except for the one lone figure sitting besides the fire; barely visible in the snow. Suddenly, a flash of light appears off in the distance. The figure stands up and the instant he is up, the fire dissipates and the figure turns and begins to walk towards where the light had appeared. As the figure comes closer to the light, the creature is revealed, standing six feet tall, standing on two legs, with two arms at its side, and covered in the most amazing armor ever to be know. The armor was as black as the darkest night, but at the same time was a brilliant white that could rival the brightest of stars. The creature's face was hidden behind a visor of a strong crimson red. When the creature arrives before the light he finds himself standing before a massive iron door guarded by creatures of pure nightmare called the "Reac". The creature approaches the door. When he came into view, the Reac all charged at the creature and the creature let out a shout with so much force it obliterated the army entirely. The only remains of the thousand man army that had stood before that wall mere seconds before was a few scattered swords and pieces of armor in the snow. Seeing none left, the creature walked forth to the door and slammed his hand against it, causing it to shake violently. Then the creature backed up from the door as it began to rumble. The door opened revealing white light that stretched across the snow. Suddenly a booming voice sounded from the light and it said, "HUMAN. YOU MAY ENTER." and the human entered the light and the door closed behind him. For a moment all was silent, even the snow seemed to stop, then suddenly the light seeped through the door and it spread all across the land; to every home, and to ever hill. After what seemed like only but a few seconds, the light dissipated and what was revealed was astounding. Where, just a moment ago, was a frozen tundra covered in snow, now stood green and lively plains covered in animals and plants. All across the world, the blizzard had stopped and the land had become full of life and happiness, almost as if there had been no blizzard at all. The door however did not open; no human came out. Never to open again.          "The iron door has been lost to time and only a few records remain that say it even ever existed at all. There are those who wait, hoping it will be revealed, so the ancient human of legend will perhaps show himself once more and share the secrets of his power. If only."                          -Star Swirl, The Bearded, Grand Wizard of the High Court
