I'm on the ground, or at least I think. It's really hard to tell now. I've lost almost all the feeling in my arms and legs by now. It's doesn't hurt. Well, not as much as it hurts to see my friends besides me. They aren't breathing though. Their hearts stopped a long time ago. I'm the only survivor of the fight with Lord English. I never thought they would die. I figured if anyone was going to die, it would be me. I've died at least seven times in our session. They were all "cowardly" as Fiiora and Roseie call it. I came back every time. However, my friends wont. They all died heroically; trying to protect me. I guess I could just initiate the Scratch and have our session restart itself, but that would mean leaving my friends to be destroyed forever. I couldn't do that, even if I tried.
It took ten minutes or so, but I finally got up, and limped towards the door to "our" new world. I look back one last time. The Witch of Void, stabbed though the chest, and hung by her own whip. The Thief of Mind, mangled and mauled, lying on her side, back towards me. Finally, The Mage of Doom, my own brother, torn apart. His limbs scattered around.
Tears are still somehow streaming down my face. Stinging in the scratches on my cheek. My one ear was cut, my left wrist broken, and a non fatal slice down my stomach.
Turning my head I open the door and step inside, and pass out. The bloodied, battered heap I am. Just before losing consciousness, I see a purple blob, flying towards me at high speeds.

I can hear an annoying beep, why can I hear an annoying beeping noise. There are voices too. They sound female.It's hard to make them out though. "... nearly fatal... might not wake up... quick recovery." "Yes thank... nurse."
I struggle to open my eyes, but get them open after a few tries. Bright fluorescent lights blind me for a second, but I quickly adjust. I look over to my right and see a window, the curtains drawn open. Looking to my left I see an IV and a heart monitor "That's where that beeping came from." I muttered to myself. Looking straight ahead, I see a white pony, with a light pink mane and tail, her blue eyes wide in shock. Next to the white pony is a purple.. unicorn.. or alicorn? Her eyes were wide, but happy, a grin on her face.
Opening the door. She came in immediately sqealing "You're finally awake!" She trotted over to the right side of the bed, blocking the window. "My name is Twilight Sparkle, and what might your name be?"
"Oh crap!" I thought to myself. "I can't remember my name!" I lied there, Twilight's eyes beginning to lose a little hope and light every second I didn't answer, so I answered with the first two things that came in my head. "My name is Painted Aura."
"That's a great name." Twilight smiled at me again.
"Um, princess? I do have a few more questions about Miss. Aura." The Nurse Stuck her head in the door and was motioning for Twilight to follow her.
"Oh, excuse me just for on moment." Twilight trotted out of the room and back into the hallway.
It was now in the spare time I had that I took a look at what I looked like. I stretched out my arms in front of me to see a pale yellow coat, and hooves. I glanced over to my shoulder to see the tip of a short pale red orange pinkish mane. It's tangled and messy, but I can worry about that later. My eyes travel down to the side of the bed, where I can see a tail. It's the same color as my mane but this has a pale orange stripe down the middle. Bringing my hoof up to my forehead, I hit something protruding out of my head. A horn. "Greaaaaaaaat. I'm a unicorn, just what I always wanted." I grumble to myslef, annoyed at the circumstances.
It was around now that memories of the last few weeks events - and more personal things like my name, age and birthday - came flooding back to my head. Tears begin streaming down my face. I begin searching frantically form my belongings. On a bedside table I see my necklace I use to summon Thorsprite, and a paper bracelet that I've been wearing since last June. I went to a concert with my mom. I look over to a hanger on the other side of the room. I held my god tier hoodie, or well now cloak. It was clean of any blood stains. Not that you could see any on the dark red fabric anyway.
Twilight Sparkle walked back in a few minutes later, a smile still on her face. It was honestly starting to creep me out a little. "Great news. You don't have to be admitted here anymore."
The nurse went to unhook my IV and heart monitor. "Yes you are free to go. It was amazing really, we've never seen anyone come in with such injuries and be completely healed by the next morning. We had to re break your foreleg so we could properly set it." She continued on, but I didn't really care about that medical talk. I got up out of the bed as soon as she took the last wire out of my arm. Stretching, I almost walked right out the door. Immediately turning around I put on my cloak and grabbed my necklace and bracelet, putting them on as well. "I guess you're all set then."
"Yeah. I don't have much." I lied. "I really have to clean out my sylladex. There's a lot of crap in there." I thought to myself. Walking out of the room, I exit into a long hallway. I decide to go towards the left, because that seemed like a good idea. I eventually make it to a waiting room of sorts. There were a few ponies there. A tan one with a spiky brown mane. There was also a white unicorn with a dark brown mane pulled up in a bun, along with her tail. There was a third pony in the room. She had a pale purple coat and a cyan mane and tail.
I walked out into town and got a few weird glances, probably for my disheveled look. It was until I heard a rater loud gasp for somewhere to my left that I actually stopped. The pony in question was a white unicorn with a curly purple mane and tail. "Oh darling, your mane looks horrible. You must come with me." She insisted, and began pushing me towards the store she came out of.
"I really don't have a choice now do I?" I grumble under my breath, as she pushes me inside.
