Chapters Prologue
"Candy Cone, do you really think it's ok to leave lil' Jolly here by himself?" FlagPole asked in doubt as he knew early he was gonna ask that question.
"Come on Flag you know we can't make a bad impression on the Canderlot ponies, and you know how playful he is." Candy Cone mentioned as she had early.
"I mean, he's just 8 months old." Flag stated in a questioning choice of words."What if something happens to us."
"Don't be silly, nothing's gonna happen." Candy Cone laughed while insulting FlagPole's theory."You com'n."
"Com'n." Flag answered in a sighing voice.
The White earth pony and Teal unicorn trotted to the train station to go to Canderlot, they going to such a city to buy a cheap but nice house 'cause the weren't rich to be accurate they were quite poor.
"I already miss him." Flag sighed

"It's ok honey, and even if something happens to us Jolly will still be alive." Candy said coming to her husband's relief .
"HOLY CELESTIA!" The train conductor yelled.
Candy Cone and FlagPole raced to were they heard the yelp, as soon as they reach the conductor they froze in fear and shock seeing they were about to fall off a broken rail."Can't you do something?" FlagPole asked forgetting about his emotions seconds ago.
"I tried pulling the brake but it won't budge." The conductor replied.
Candy Cone and FlagPole knew it was certain death. "Uh, Flag." She called her beloved colt.
"This isn't the time." FlagPole sternly said.
"Actually I have something to tell you, ya see I never took you that seriously since we got married I knew you
wouldn't say I do if you knew the real me." Candy Cone explained feeling ashamed.
"Don't worry there's always room for forgiveness." FlagPole said at the same time also forgiving Candy Cone."I just hope that Jolly will make it though life.
They both hugged each other tightly until death fell upon them.

Jolly left at home all by himself being the playful foal he was he decided to crawl his way to a dark cave with no pony having any idea where he is.

"Hey Toxic." Jolly greeted while trying to catch up to him.
"Oh hey Jolly." Toxic replied to Jolly's greeting.
"So, how have you been doing with a that talk that's about you?" Toxic asked in fear knowing there was a chance Jolly would go in to full rage mode and do something to him.
"Well considering they make fun of me for having no parents no bits and no cutie mark, I'm fine." Jolly said sarcastically.
"Really?" Toxic asked with a dim ray of hope.
"No ." Jolly said replied not knowing Toxic would ask such a question.
"Well, anyway you wanna hang out today?" Jolly asked hoping his friend had spare time so they can hang.
"Uh sorry, but I gotta practice my flying with RainbowDash." Toxic replied in guilt knowing he wasn't gonna be there for his friend.
"I understand." Jolly said with hope that Toxic would for get about RainbowDash and spend time with him.
Although Toxic wasn't his best friend, no pony was, he was still happy that Toxic was nice to him, anyway lets get back to the story. Ms.CottenFlower was Jolly's teacher, at the time she was teaching his class math. Rapid Runner is a the pony that bullies Jolly.
Rapid was passing a note it came aisle from aisle desk from desk until it reached Jolly's desk, he unfolded it and it said 'Your a parentless, worthless excuse for a pony.' This angered Jolly so much, in his hatred for what Rapid said he stood up and punch Rapid in the nose, it didn't cause lots of damage, but after Jolly's punch Rapid retaliated with a punch of his own his hooves had hit Jolly's eye so bad it started to turn black and purple, Ms.CottenFlower quickly broke up the two fighting ponies.
" Class dismissed!" Ms.CottenFlower yelled at the top of her lungs as she gave Jolly and Rapid one of those how dare you stares.
The two ponies walked there separate ways.

Jolly walked to his parents commended house, his face overwhelming with tears, as he walked in he saw an item he's never seen in his 11 years of life, he started to examine the items, their was a watch on the counter, it imprinted 'For C.C. and F.P., give this to Jolly when he's a little colt.' The watch was a darker teal than his mane but it still fit his colors though and he slipped it on his left hoof.
He turned around so he could exit but another thing caught his eye as he looked at it he saw that it was a picture, and he guessed the two ponies on it was his parents, but this picture said something with a little similarity to what the watch said, it also imprinted 'Dear Candy Cone and FlagPole, have a happy life together .' Jolly knew that Candy Cone was his mother and he knew that his father was FlagPole, Candy Cone had a white coat and a Red and White mane and tail, and FlagPole's coat was teal and his mane and tail was brown.
He quickly put the picture in a saddle bag he found on the streets, and he went to a cave he found when he was six or he thought he found it when he was that certain age, he put the picture on the cave floor as he laid on it in he had, he gave it a horrid description, he described it cold, horrible, and disgusting, he went to sleep a few hours he started having a bunch of nightmares about his parents fate, finally came by the real fate but he woke up as his parents raced to the conductor.
As Jolly woke up he gave 3 large pants of breath, then he felt his his stomach growl.
"I guess I'll just go to Toxic's for something." Jolly insisted as he knew Toxic stayed up late.
So Jolly trotted up the streets of PonyVille, as he trotted he saw Luna flying over a bunch of pony's houses, Luna finally noticed the red unicorn, she flew over to him and spoke immediately she stated "I know you may not understand this now, but the nightmares you had represents your parents death but only one of them is real you'll know how they died when your a young colt."
"But I wanna know them, their personality, I just wish they were here to comfort me." Jolly sadly said just hoping Luna could do something for him.
"I'm afraid you won't know them like that." Luna said in pity knowing she had a special connection with his parents.
Jolly trotted further to Toxic's house as he trotted Luna noticed a tear from Jolly's face glistening in her beautiful moon light, Jolly made it to Toxic's house and knocked on his door.
The door flew open in surprise, Toxic's mouth flew open as he said,"Hey Jolly what'cha doing here."
"I'm just really hungry and." That's all Jolly could say until Toxic cut him off.
"Its good I got a zap apple and a pear in the refrigerator, just hold on a sec." Toxic said as if he were offering it off.
"Awesome, I'll have both." Jolly said trying to make his statement as nice as he could. "And what the hay is a pear."
"Just take it." Toxic said like he had something to do.
Jolly could tell Toxic was kind of annoyed, he levitated the two juicy fruits and put 'em in his saddlebag he decided he'd eat the pear and save the zap apple for a different time.
"Thanks." Jolly thanked in generosity of the gifts from his friend.
"No prob." Toxic said as if he had no problem giving the fruit to his friend and there was no problem.
Jolly went back to his cave, he ate the pear and slept again having the same nightmares.

The harsh school day full chaos for Jolly was finally over, so he was just starting to walk to his cave, as he went on he saw a orange filly with a golden mane but as he saw the mysterious filly he also saw Rapid Runner backing the filly down on a brick wall, he saw Rapid's mouth move Jolly tried his hardest to find out what Rapid was saying, he finally got a signal as if he were a radio he heard Rapid insult the filly using the words,"Oh wow another worthless pony, what do you guys even live for?"
"Hey leave her alone!" Jolly demanded while yelling, he never would stand up for anypony but he felt that the bullying needed to stop.
Oh and what are you gonna do about it, tell your mom and dad oops I'm sorry you don't have somepony to call mom or dad." Rapid teased trying to get Jolly to show the slightest emotion so he could tease him on that.
Jolly felt his eyes welling up but no tears came out.
"I, I challenge you to a race, if I win you can't bully anypony and if you win, you can tease me anytime." Jolly blurted throwing the first thing that popped up in he mind.
"Deal." Rapid accepted as fast as lighting could strike. "Your parents called you Jolly Racer and you can't even race." Rapid said as he walked off.
"Thank ya, ah owe ya one." The filly thanked.
"No need to thank me I could never really stand up for anypony." Jolly said feeling ashamed and pitiful of what a wussy he was.
"So whats your name?" Jolly asked forgetting to ask her that first.
"Ah'm Applejack." The filly answered happily answered.
"Ah ain't catch your name." Applejack questioned.
"Oh sorry, I'm Jolly Racer." Jolly apologized.
"So how come your parents weren't here to pick you up?" Jolly asked.
"That's because they're gone." Applejack answered her faltering at the end.
"Well your not alone." Jolly mumbled trying not to let Applejack hear him.
"Your parents are gone too, finally someone just like me." Applejack said relief.
"So ya got any where to hit the hay?" Applejack asked hoping Jolly would say no, but she felt selfish for hoping for even having that thought, she also felt horrible knowing hoping Jolly didn't have any where to sleep.
"Well not really." Jolly said, he hated and also loved when ponies felt sorry for him.
"Then ya can stay 'till ya get backup on ya hooves." Applejack offered being the kind filly she was.
"O-K, hope I'm no trouble just let me get a few things first." Jolly answered not trying to seem so eager.
"Do what ya need to do." Applejack kinda complimented waiting for Jolly to come back as he trotted off.
Jolly went to his cave got his picture and left of to Applejack.
"So, who are those to ponies in that there picture?" Applejack desperately trying to start a conversation.
"Those are my parents." Jolly answered but not without taking a gulp. "That mare on the right is my mom Candy Cone and the colt on the left is my dad FlagPole.
"Well they look like a mighty nice couple " Applejack complimented trying to make Jolly give a sign of happiness.
"Thank you." Jolly said giving a sign of just a little happiness.
"Great were here." Applejack alerted breaking up peace and quiet between the two ponies.

"APPLE-JACK." Granny Smith questioned using her slow voice.
"Ah can explain Granny." Applejack answered in a fast motion.
"Applejack why in the hay do ya have a unicorn here?" Big Mac asked demanding an answer.
"Hugh, Big Mac he's just like me he has no parents and I kinda already offered him to stay for a few days." Applejack being forced to say something she didn't want to bring up.
"Better be, he could be a thief and ya know we can't afford having anything stolen." Big Mac insulted while giving a strict statement although in the back of his head knowing Jolly could steal something in a few nights.
"Thank ya Mac, and Granny." Applejack thanked also adding the 'and Granny' part knowing Granny Smith knew what that meant.
"Ok AJ just hope your right ." Granny answered in doubt that Jolly wouldn't steal anything.
As the two new friends walked up the stairs Jolly broke the short silence with the words "Applejack I know you wanna do something but I'm very tired so wheres my room?" Being the sweet, kind, and shy pony he was he hated how he asked Applejack where his room was.
"Here's ya room, have a mighty nice sle." Applejack ignoring how Jolly asked but not without getting cut off by Jolly's snoring, Applejack started to get two pink lines through her cheeks thinking 'Wow I've finally found the one to help through my problems in life.' Applejack grabbed a blanket and covered Jolly still blushing over the unfortunate unicorn, as this happened Applejack asked herself as early she would've she couldn't because of all the commotion 'And anyway why did his ma and pa name him Jolly Racer if he was a unicorn.'
Applejack trotted out of the barn making sure Granny Smith or her brother did not see 'cause first of all Granny would be pissed off and Big Mac would think this was because of Jolly without a second thought. Still thinking she started to wonder in why her big kind brother would just judge Jolly so harshly and quickly. She had made it to her destination.
"Meet me at the barn at 5:00 A.M.." Applejack demanded in a whisper. No vocal response came from the two ponies, but 2 slow nods.

"AJ, Jolly's starting to wake up." A purple pegasus with a scarlet mane and with beautiful sapphire eyes alerted.
"Uh, Applejack how does he know my name?" Jolly asked as he yawned, already guessing the pegasus was a young colt by his nose.
"Ah told him." Applejack answered quickly judging by her choice of words.
"Oh hey is that the new addition to the group?" A light brown earth pony with a darker colored mane and ruby red eyes asked so eagerly.
'Addition, Group.' Jolly thought to himself guessing Applejack didn't have any friends judging on where she lived.
"Well since we all kinda are new to Jolly, I'm Wind Whistle." The pegasus introduced seeming just a little bit akward to Jolly. But to Applejack Wind was one of the kindness, athletic young colt she's ever seen but by Jolly's facial expression she could this wasn't gonna end well or so she thought.
"I'm Sugar Cookie." The earth pony blurted out like she was gonna explode if she didn't get the message out. Applejack knew Sugar was very happy and eager to do anything she was usually compared to some other pink earth pony, even though having all this energy she always would stand up for her friends, but not just her friends anypony.
"Well we made it this far so, Ah'm guessin' lunch." Applejack stated although acting as if she was asking a question.
"Okay." Jolly answered while looking around searching for any other surprise. So the new gang started to walk to PonyVille.

"Ta, didn't expect to see you here." Wind Whistle insulted the best he could trying to keep Rapid Runner from coming over to the crew, 'cause previously Applejack told him about who bullied Jolly, but maybe insulting the clever earth pony wasn't the best idea.
"Shutup, your're probably a nobody like this fool here." Rapid quickly said, while Jolly thought 'How could he bully all of us if he's just one pony.' But he stood there hiding his scared face.
"We weren't supposed to do this race until Monday." Jolly reminded hoping Rapid hadn't changed his mind about the race.
"Change of plans, now or never." Rapid strictly said as if he were Jolly's dad.
"Ok, then lets begin." Jolly accepted, but he was trapped in his confidence he forgot how tricky Rapid can be at times.
"Everypony you can come out now, to watch Jolly get his flank whooped that is." Rapid insulted not without calling all that was friends.
Jolly was surprised to see Toxic and Shadow come from behind the school house, Thinking 'I knew Toxic wasn't a real friend all this time just lying to me right in my face I mean are you serious, and as for Shadow the same I would say to him as I would say to Toxic, And again to even think those ponies were my friends makes me sick." Even meeting somepony that had the slightest companionship with Rapid, Jolly would damn all his friends to hell. For a coy unicorn he had quite the temper and punching Rapid in class was just the beginning of things, and I say this because Jolly has had thoughts of how to murder Rapid and for a 11 year old his imagination could be very violent. But Jolly wasn't that kinda pony that would kill somepony right of the bat, it would take time for him to gain enough hatred to even injure Rapid, for Jolly it took about years and years for that to happen.
"Okay you two are going to go from this junk yard to The side of SugarCube Corner, and Shadow we'll see there." Toxic informed, but Jolly's hatred for Toxic was rising faster than usual, soon it reached over the hatred for Rapid, still while thinking very deviously about Toxic he also thought 'How could he and Shadow just betray me just like I was nothing, like I was a pop can they could just kick around for their amusement.'
"READY... SET... GO!" Toxic announced, even though Jolly was caught up in his hatred he still heard Toxic's announcement and he took of trailing behind Rapid Runner, Rapid started to taunt Jolly for what he was a unicorn, and unicorns weren't made for racing well anyway Rapid taunted using the words "You're going down you pitiful filly." Jolly was usually mistaken for a filly because of his nose and his brightly colored coat, mane, and tail, oh and don't forget about his pink eyes anyway this attracted Jolly as he turned his head to Rapid and quickly turned back to the race. Rapid noticed Jolly was gaining an edge on him, he was close enough to trip Jolly from his right hind leg so he did so he did, causing Jolly to almost fall giving the slightest edge to Rapid. Jolly tried to give a cry for help, but no sound came out, this angered Jolly putting all his force on his injured hind leg putting more and more pain on it as he went full sprint, the two ponies were getting close to the side of SugarCube Corner nopony was giving an edge on each other they switched leads like how Applejack and RainbowDash switched feelings for each other, those two ponies had a complicated best friendship, but anyway. As they went on, they came closer to the unicorn dedicated to music Shadow Beats, they passed. They heard Shadow holler the words "Jolly by a nose! The crowd didn't give away any sign of excitement, the only voice that was heard was Sugar Cookie's as she cheered "Yeah Jolly, you go boy."
Jolly would rather not get cheered on, because as he finished he fell on the floor writhing in pain, groaning, as this happened Applejack was the first to respond to Jolly's signs pain and agony, then the rest of the gang started to follow Applejack they were very worried for him hoping he was ok, they felt like their problems were nothing compared to what Jolly had to go through.
"Shadow carry Jolly with your fancy magic." Applejack demanded, she preferred to be very strict during these situations.
"Got it." Shadow replied, he also suggested to be very series and strict in these type of situations.

Jolly Racer: His coat is scarlet and his mane and tail is a light teal and he has pink eyes, he's a unicorn and he has emo hair (His hair covers the left eye). What he wears will be further in the story. He was created by me.
Toxic Skittles: He has a white coat, his mane and tail is green at the end it has rainbow highlights, he also has rainbow splattered on his hooves and wings he has orange eyes, and he is a pegasus with Applejack's hair but no hair around the neck, and without the two lines. He was not created by me he was created by my best friend. Jolly's 2nd best friend.(Until something happens with Applejack and Jolly).
Shadow Beats: He has a light grey coat and a dark red mane and tail, he has lavender eyes, also he's a unicorn and has a spiked up mane and tail. He also wears red headphones around his neck. He was also not created by me but by my other best friend. Jolly's friend.
Author Speaking: Every pony from here on down was created by me and how they look will be introduced further in the story.
