Cutie mark Crusader narrow gauge engines

It was a nice spring day in Equestria and in the Ponyville school, all the kids were hard at work. Then the school bell rang and as the fillies and colts left, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were just about to exit the building when a familiar pink filly with a diamond tiara came up.

"Well if isn't the three blanks flanks! You think you're so special, you three could never do anything good enough to earn your cutie marks!" Diamond Tiara said, with a devious look.

"Of course we can! Peter Sam is always sayin' if we put our hearts to it. We can accomplish anything!" snapped Apple Bloom.

"Oh please! That square funneled engine is too old to see good work. I'm surprised your friends with a lazy steamer that doesn't even have a proper funnel! Besides, you three could never work like those lazy steamers! Have a nice day blanks flanks!" said Diamond Tiara laughing hard as she walked out. The three fillies got really mad, they could do work like the Skarloey engines.

"Don't listen to her girls." said the calm voice of Cheerilee their teacher. "Diamond Tiara's just being herself. I'm glad that Peter Sam has confidence in you three." The CMC smiled, they were glad that Cheerilee cared for the Skarloey engines as they did. As the three walked out and headed for their clubhouse. Once inside they began thinking about what Diamond Tiara said about them not being able to work like the narrow gauge engines.

"I can't believe that Diamond Tiara would think of something so dumb like that!" stated Scootaloo.

"We could work like the Skarloey engines!" added Sweetie Belle.

"But how are we gonna prove it? We can't pull coaches or freight cars!" Apple Bloom replied. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo's ears drooped down. They knew Apple Bloom was right.

"If onla' we wer' narrow gauge engines ourselves." Apple Bloom added.

A light bulb went off in Scootaloo's mind, "Maybe we can become narrow gauge engines. If we ask Twilight to help." Scootaloo said. Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle knew where this was going. So the CMC ran for Twilight's library. Once they were there, they knocked on the door.

Twilight opened the door to see the three fillies standing before her, "Hello girls, is there something you need?"

"Twi, we need yer help fer something." Apple Bloom answered. Twilight invited the fillies in to discuss the matter. They told Twilight what Diamond Tiara said.

"So we wanna prove that we can work like the narrow gauge engines but we need your help." said Sweetie Belle.

"Do you know any spells that could turn us into narrow gauge engines?" asked Scootaloo.

"It's a tough case, but I'll take it!" answered Twilight. She trotted over to her shelves and began looking through her books, "I read something about turning ponies into other things, but what was it?" She looked through her books until she found a book untitled: Transformation Spells 101, all you wanted to know about making things into something else but were too proud to ask. She then set the book down and began searching for the right chapter, "Aw here it is!" Twilight called out. She began reading the section and soon had it memorized. "Alright, I'm ready. Girls, stand together and brace yourselves!' Twilight said. So the CMC did as she asked.

Twilight's horn started glowing and the CMC were engulfed in a magic aura. "Hey! This tickles!" said Apple Bloom. Then the CMC started glowing and then there was flash in the room. When the flash cleared Twilight looked to see the CMC were now narrow gauge engines in bodies similar To Peter Sam, Sir Handel, and Duncan.

"I did it! You three are now narrow gauge engines!" said Twilight.

"Thanks a bunch Twi! Can you carry use to the tracks? said Apple Bloom. Twilight then pick up the CMC with her magic and carried them to the narrow gauge tracks and set them down. The CMC then whistle and set off for Croven's gate.
