She was reading them again and again in her mind "Princess Celestia the ruler of Equestria and day,  lived for a 2000 years" ,looking to the right and reading it "Princess Luna ,the ruler of Night and the sister of Princess Celestia lived for 2000 years" Twilight closed her eyes and soon fell asleep. dreaming of the horrific past that lead to this. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Murderers //-------------------------------------------------------// The Murderers She dreamed back to the part where ,as she watched in fear as discord ran his claws through princess celestia's hair that wasn't flowing as it usally would instead it was flat ,falling torwards the floor ,her face still had the same empression as it did before decapitation. Princess Luna who had accecpted defeat after watching her older sister died and couldn't do anything about it. She simply closed her eyes looked up as Queen Chrysalis charged up her horn and discharged at Luna's chest. Before the spell could be complete Luna shot a bolt of blue light at twilights horn that was absorbed and processed in her head. As fast as the spell was asorbed Discord looked at twilight ,then back at chrysailis he then asked "what do we do with her?" smickered Discord. Chysalis respondd "I have an idea in mind" giving of a little chuckle looking at Twilight. The bolt that luna shot at twilight was a message and a advanced way to level up magic about 15%. The message that was shot through her head was read "Twilight i have advanced your magic by somewhat so you know how to teleport from long ranged distances for periods of time and the power to unlock the elements of harmony from their safe its the only way to defeat our enemies ,get them Twilight from their vault, and hurry to your friends and give them their elements" Twilight started galloping torwards the doors only to come to a complete stop as the doors snapped together surrounded by metal chains and wooden boardes "where do you think your going?" snarled Discord as he gave twilight a killish stare. Twilight quickly turns around only to see discord and chrysalis walking closer up to her. Twilight froze as she watched get closer. Twilight quickly remembers about the advancement luna did to her. She closed her eyes and imaged the hallway with the elements seal in her head and soon began to start the teleportation spell. Her horn start to flare and flash as the spell started. Discord and chrysalis soon noticed her horn and started to sprint towards her. Knowing that by the time they reach Twilight, she would already have teleported. Discord snapped his fingers and teleported, next to her, and picked her up.  she gave of a yell as she was picked up with force "Gotcha ya" said discord as he tightly held twilight. Twilight was still focusing on her teleportation spell ,but running out of air ,as Discord was holding onto her with enough force to break her ribs . "Its been nice knowing you twilight ,but I think we both know who wins and who loses" said Discord preparing his free hand to stab into Twilight's neck. With that last bit of power and air Twilight had in her she released the spell and could no longer feel discords hold. She opened both of her eyes and saw changlings guarding the elements vault. Twilight gasped as she saw about 12 of them there. She knew exactly what to do. All of the guards saw her and charged at her all at once. "Bring it on" Twilight yelled at them as she too started charging at them. Twilight galloped and right before they collided head on she teleported behind them and turned around and shot the ceiling and the pillars with a powerful discharge spell. The guards stopped and turned around ,but at a bad timeing. The ceiling collapsed in on them. Twilight turned around seeing the vault door in front of her and stuck her horn in the hole that was for celestias horn. With one lucky guess twilight sent a zap through her horn and the doors locks soon began to open. It took a couple of seconds before the doors could completely open and soon revealed the elements of harmony. Twilight sighed in relief. "thank celestia their still here" mumered twilight troted into the safe to retrieve the elements. As, soon as she reached the elements she thought to her self "how am i suppose to carry them? Do i hold them with me in the middle of ponyville?" She was thinking of what could make it easier to carry all 6 of them with her. She jumped up "THE LIBRARY" twilight accidently shouted and covered her mouth with her right hoof. " //-------------------------------------------------------// the library //-------------------------------------------------------// the library Twilight placed her hoof on the ground after her shout. She turned around with a  blush trying to see if anyone was there. No one was there just debris and dust particals that remained after a couple of minutes after the twilight made the ceiling collapse in. She started to walk out of the chamber with the elements and the doors soon closed behind her with a loud thud and the sound of heavy locks locking was folowed. Twilight sighed as she lowered her head in sadness and let loss a tear. In shame and sadness as she know she couldnt do anything to help her mentor and god. She knew she just stood there and watched as they died. She lowered her head in shame and closed her eyes  as she imaged the inside of the ponyville library and started the teleportation spell. Within seconds her horn started to glow and poof, just like that she was inside her library except she could tell something was different but she didnt know what. She slowly opened the but at the same time looking back to see if anypony or anything was following her. With her complete comfort of not being followed she closed the door and turned around only to see that books were burning and so was half of the library. She gulped because she knew her bag was upstairs and smoke always travels up. Taking in one more large gasp of air she ran upstairs. She thought to her self "i cant see a thing through this smoke. If i remember correctly it should be by my bed". She ran towards her bed and looked everywhere but couldnt see a thing in the smoke. She went prone trying to crawl torwards her bed and she crawled. It took a few seconds before she reached her bed, she jumped ontop of feeling everywhere for her bag. However, her bag wasn't there. Twilight paniced not just because her bag wasnt there but she was running out of oxygen. "Oh wait" twilight thought to her self "im a princess i have magic that i can use to make a breathing spell". Her horn began to glow as she summoned the spell then a bright flash happened but it also gave off enough light to reach every wall in her room but only a glimpse but she saw it her bag was set on her dresser. She got off her bed and walked towards her dresser. She grabbed her bag and paced it on her back. She than began to run downstairs. With all this smoke in her way she fell of the stairs due to it having no rails. Her bag flew off her back and landed a couple of feet away from her. She slowly gets up as she trys to recover from hitting her head against a bookshelf after she fell from the stairs. Twilight got up but her vision was blurry but she stilled made her self walk towards the bag. She was close by the bag but she her a loud crackling sound then a pillar holding up the wall fell down next to her only inches away from crushing her. She then hurried to the bag. She grabbed the and quickly put it on her back. Twilight looked around to see if she forgot something then ran to the door.
