Over the Years: Insanity, Death, Betrayal, and Prostitution
Yet another morning in Ponyville, Twilight cheerfully reading her books and Spike blissfully slumbering. Suddenly the peaceful silence was broken with gasps and shouts of joy. Spike was awoken and definetly was not happy about this interuptance. He groaned loudly and put his pillow over his head. " Oh, Spike, lighten up every once in a while!" she said, rolling her eyes and starting to laugh. "Why is everypony cheering this early in the morning?" Twilight went outside to find Princess Celestia! "Ah, Twilight Sparkle, my most prized pupil." she said in a mellow voice. "I'm sorry everypony, but Sparkle and I need to talk in private." Everyone left with a sour attitude. "So, uh, what do we need to talk about?" Twilight said with a low voice. "You need to come with me to Canterlot to continue your studies." "But..." "No buts, Twilight. Your carriage will be here tommorow. Farewell." as the princess left, Twilight began to weep. She went back into the library and overflowed with tears. Spike was awoken by her intense sobbing. "Uhhhgg, wuh- what's wrong Twilight?" Said the drowsy dragon. "Princess Celestia wants me to go back to Canterlot... " "Well she probably didn't mean FOREVER, stop getting so worked up!" "Yeah, you're probably right." *sniff* "What am I going to tell my friends?" " Well you don't really have to. We can just go, no one will know you're gone, we're probably only going to be their for a week." "I guess so..." Twilight was exhausted and collapsed on the bed, and drifted off to sleep.
The next day was gloomy, dark, and cloudy. Twilight packed her things and set off to the carriage. As they went to the castle, she sighed as she saw Ponyville from the heights. They reached Pricess Celestias castle in a short hour. She walked into the large building, gawking at its magnificence. Celestia greeted her and showed her to her quarters. She unpacked and positioned her books. When done, she wandered the castle, looking at the glorious sights. She found Celestia on her throne. "Uh, princess..." she muttered shyly. "Yes?" "Uh.... Well I was wondering... When do I get to go back to Ponyville?" Celestias facial expression quickly turned into an impatient and angry look. "Soon." " Well.... Ok.
A day passed.
"Celestia?"
"Soon."
Two days passed.
"Princess?"
"Soon."
Four days passed.
"Prin-"
"Soon."
A week passed.
"Soon."
Weeks passed.
"Soon."
Months passed.
"Soon."
A year passed.
"Soon."
Twilight was on the brink of insanity. "Soon. Soon. Soon. Soon." repeated Twilight. "Soon I'll see my friends! Hahahaha!" She took some rope as she sung her song. She made a noose and skipped over to the nail in the ceiling. She attached it. She wrote a letter, and placed it on Princess Celestias throne, for she was asleep. Sparkle then hung herself, she twitched but then she was still.
" Dear Princess Celestia, I learned that sometimes you just can't wait for something so perfect- death. The silence, the peace; I've learned people who love life, like Fluttershy, are ignorant fools.
