Chapters Gentle Kindness, Pessimistic Death: Part 1 The War
As Johnathan lay the little fillies on their, the door open to the face of the king & queen. He bow at their sight. Johnathan "Astro & Aurora." Astro "My dear friend, you don't have to bow to us. I see you kept our daughters company for us." Aurora "Our lovely little ones, they look so peaceful & innocent during this era of war & chaos." She rub their mane softly.
Astro "Johnathan we need you in the courtroom with us, one of the guard from the Crystal Empire bought urgent news" As he walk with both of his old comrades, the halls seem so quiet & empty. As they arrive in the courtroom, it was full with ponies everywhere. They were all yell & debating on battling plans, all went silence once they saw the King, the Queen, & their Knight. Astro "We are here for the urgent news we have recent from the Crystal Empire. WindRunner, share your knowledge with us."
She was a snow white Pegasus, know to be the fastest in Equestria. A bit of a hotshot, if you ask me. WindRunner "Me & my troop were observing the Nightmare Force movement from the sky & we came with a shocking conclusion. A lot of the Nightmare Force are gathering up massive armies to one place that would ensure their victory in this war, Canterlot."
They made everyone go on a fit of yelling, stomping, & panic. The scene was crazy till Johnathan shout for silence, everyone stare at his way. Johnathan "This will be our last stand against the Nightmare Force, we are hope for the future of Equestria. I know some other us may know live through this last major battle, but it will end with the sun rising over this nightmare." The silence was finally breaking with the sound of every hooves stomping the floor.
That night, as Johnathan rest his dream trouble him. Flashing of images pop through his head. Million dead ponies fill the land, every Alicorns together creating a light brighter than the sun against a giant horrid creature, a red bird flying to a ruin castle with two little Alicorns walking from it, the three tribe fighting, the Crystal Empire lost, two princesses lose their friend, one princess fill with jealous & hate, two princesses face to face, one sad princess stare at the moon. six mares wearing magical gems. Lastly, a yellow filly crying over an injure bunny. The filly now mature lay close to a dark figure with wings, then fade to black. Next was extreme pain & scream.
He woke up, not upstanding what he just saw. He met up with Astro on the balcony, telling him all what happen in his dream. Astro "Are you sure that's what you saw." Johnathan "Yes, What does it means?" Astro "If anything, the future of you & Equestria. & the fate of the Alicorns. Johnathan, you been the greatest of my friend to me, my wife, & my daughter. I entrust you with may daughters & I thank you." He could see sadness in his eyes as the sun rose. This was the day, the final battle.
Gentle Kindness, Pessimistic Death: Part 1 The War
I can remember it so well, the cold wind, the sky blacken, my armor weighting on my back, my sword ready for battle. Everypony stand their position, waiting for the Nightmare Force, waiting for the order to chance. We evaluate the citizen to order location to the Crystal Empire, Cloudsdale, anywhere they would be safe. As time passed, a Pegasus reported the Nightmare Force was closing in.
The ponies stood more firmly, cold sweat ran down they head. They were a mile away now. Astro "For Equestria!!!" The ponies repeat his word, then charge to the massive waves of the Nightmare. Swords clash with the creature, shields block their attack, arrows rained on them. The Unicorns use their magic to wipe out many of the Force. The Pegasus was our air support, & use the wind & weather to give us more advantage. Many of us got injure or have fallen, but those of us still alive fought harder for our fallen comrade.
The battle seem to be in our favor, but then Nightmare Force had one last trip. They all gather together into one pile, forming a huge monster of terror. This beast was of Everypony nightmare. With one swing, it took out many ponies. The Earthponies shoot all the boulders launcher, while the Pegasi conjure a hurricane, & the Unicorns unit their magic into one blast. But, they did not work together, their attack was effect less.
The monster seem unstoppable. The battle seem lost. I ran to Astro & Aurora for new plan. Johnathan "My King & Queen, The beast is taking our force down. When need to evaluate Everypony" Astro "Do that as quickly as possible. Tell them to get as far away. Me & the Alicorns will handle the beast, once & for all. Get our daughters deep down into the basement &....... tell them we love them very much." They both have tears in their eyes. Aurora "Johnathan, please take care of our precious little fillies. Their lives are important to use."
He ran to everypony, telling them to flee as fast as they can. With one last glimpse, he saw all the alicorns gather in a circle just like his dream. With all his strength, he ran to the castle. The place was complete lifeless. He ran up to the princesses room, with no princesses. He call their names, they came from the hiding spot.
Celestia "Johnathan what happening?" Luna "I'm scared, where mommy & daddy?" He lead them downstairs to the basement. Johnathan "Celestia, you have to care of Luna & Luna protect your sister as well. Stay here until it's safe. Celestia & Luna, your parents love you both very much. Always remember that."
He lock the door & head for the castle front door. Many of the Nightmare Force was surrounding the castle. He had to fight them back, he had to protect the Princesses. He slash many down with his sword. Many cut his skin. He was blooding badly, it became harder for him to stand. But he couldn't give up, he promise his friend.
Then one stick it's hand to his heart, he fell as the creatures was surround him. He would die, not now. Then a big light flash, it was spreading to the whole kingdom of Canterlot. The Nightmare Force & the Alicorns was disappearing, & so was JohnathanShadow. Johnathan "So this is it." Everything turn black.

Johnathan was in the castle library reading. He reed about creature of Equestria & the creation of the land. Johnathan "Death, the ending period of all living thing. Once they die, they have to find their way to the heaven, some make it while other still roam Equestria still trying to find their way or find their peace. The ones who are lost are call wondering ponies"
Johnathan was always interest in death ever since he was a little filly. He always go to the library & read about. He never was afraid of death of dying, but he felt sadness & sorrow for the wondering ponies. They were lost & alone, kind of like him. Even though he hang out with his friends, he kept to his self most of the time. His two great friends, Astro & Aurora, describe him shadowy but compassionate & a bit mysterious.
He seen the wondering ponies before, when he was a filly. He was lost in the Everfree Forest at night. He was scared that he was lost forever, till he saw a faint white glow. When he arrive at the spot, there were a lot of wondering ponies dancing around. He never saw something so beautiful & amazing. As he came closer, they all begin to circle around him. He felt so tired, he felt asleep. When he awaken, he was back home with his cutie mark. A single black rose. He never understood what it mean & neither did anyone else.
He came back into reality from the sound of books falling over. When he came to the scene, he saw two fillies covering in books. Johnathan "Celestia & Luna, what are you two doing here? Weren't you two playing in the garden." Celestia "Yeah, but we were wondering if you could play with us since mommy & daddy are out." Luna "& we found more of those glowy thingy" He couldn't object to their big eyes. They left with them both riding on his back.
The Royal Garden was fill with varies flowers, fruits, & vegetables. They both jump off & ran to the spot. Luna "Hurry, it's over here in the rose bushes." He walk over seeing what they were talking about. In the bushes was a glowing figure of a rabbit. He move his front hooves close to it as it examine it, then it move to his head.
Celestia & Luna look at it excitedly. Johnathan "It seen to be a she" Celestia "How do you know?" Johnathan "Not sure, it just something I can understand." Luna "Can I see it!" Celestia "Me too!" They both played & run around with the wondering creature for the whole day, till night arrive & they got tired.
