Rainbow Dash & Scootaloo Do An Action Sequence

Bleak vision and Inaudible Noise was all that could be seen or heard from Rainbow Dash. She couldn't remember how she got here, or where she is now. Scootaloo was tied against a pole on her opposite side. She shouted words Rainbow couldn't hear out. Scootaloo banged herself against the pole trying to catch her attention.

Rainbow Dash's vision began to become clear and she could focus, everything was coming back to her. The pirates, the airship, the golden idol. It became clear. She was on a ship with Scootaloo, her trustworthy sidekick, and they were tied up. The noise slowly formed into words, and she heard Scootaloo called her name.

She felt a dizzying pain in her head, there was a trickle of blood coming down her head.

"Scootaloo, quiet. It's okay. I'm awake." she said.

"Rainbow Dash, you're finally awake!" she was excited.

"Quiet. Where are we right now?"

"I think we're inside their ship, and I hear the engines running."

"Crap, alright then. We have to get out of here. Do you have your knife with you still?"

"I don't think so, my pockets feel empty."

"Damn, they looted us while we were unconscious."

"What do we do now?"

"We have to, um," Rainbow Dash looked around the room for anything that could help them. Then she saw a stack of barrels labeled gunpowder. "Scootaloo, I think I have an idea."

"What is it?"

"See that gunpowder to your far left, I think we can use those. Do you still have that hair clip Lady Rarity gave to you?"

"Yes, I feel it in my pocket. It's the only thing they didn't take."

"Figures. They're are dumb as they look. Okay, this is quite convenient, can you reach in your pocket and take it out?"

"I'm digging around as we speak. Got It!"

"That's good. Lady Rarity always has a few tricks up her sleeve in hairy situations like these."

"Like what?"

"She wasn't always an aristocrat. Never mind, just put it in your mouth and snap it. It'll fling towards those barrels."

"Got it." Scootaloo snapped the hair clip in her mouth and aimed. She opened her mouth and the hair clip flew towards the buckle holding the barrels together. In an instant, the belt snapped open and the barrels fell over. They rolled the place, leaking out gunpowder.

"Rarity, you are still a lifesaver." Rainbow Dash grabbed a small needle pin from her collar and rubbed it against the rope.

The pin produced small sparks and it landed on the gunpowder in front of her. The wooden pillar was engulfed in flames through the gunpowder as it lit up in trails. Rainbow Dash quickly disposed the rope and patted down Scootaloo before the fire could spread onto their clothes. She proceeded to extinguish anymore flames on her clothes.

Both of them looked up and saw the gunpowder heading towards the barrels.

"We gotta go now." yelled Rainbow.

The two of them sprinted up the stairs to the deck of the airship. They saw the clouds at their level and the pirates spotted them. They came in large waves and surrounded the two pegasi.

All of them waited in anticipation and Dash scanned around the large are, looking for way out, while Scootaloo still had her hair clip, armed and ready for the impending fight. They all looked around and waited, for what, who knows. Scootaloo began to get bored.

"Um, Rainbow Dash, so when are the barrels gonna explode?" She asked. "This story is starting to drag with that paragraph."

"In ten seconds flat."

"What."

"It's an action sequence, this is to build up the tension. And the barrels explode in three, two, one."

All of a sudden, the airship exploded with deafening noise as the barrel ignited. The shock wave weakened the structure. Every pirate stumbled around as the ship started spinning in circles, plummeting to an inevitable doom.

"Run now!" shouted Dash.

Both of them tackled a couple of pirates and knocked them out cold, and took their swords. Dash started an epic sword fight with three other stallions, and she putting up an impressive stance. Scootaloo improvised and whipped every pirate across their face with the side of the blade. They balanced each time the ship dip to one side and the other. The captain was furious about the tables turning and joined in on the fight.

Rainbow Dash saw two pirates running up behind, and she pick her hind legs and kicked them hard.

"Good ol' Applejack would be proud"

Scootaloo ran and swung at the ropes, slicing each and letting the ship dip further downward. The captain then grabbed her by the legs. Dash saw her in need of help, and wasted no time in reaching her. Every pirate that got in her way were quickly disposed of or pushed out of the way.

Rainbow Dash jumped with the sword in her mouth, and sliced off the captain's wooden hoof that held Scootaloo. She fell to the floor, and saw the rope sliding across the deck. She grabbed it and tied the captain's hind leg. Dash was putting up a quick defense to the Captain's swift fighting style. Then the rope picked him up and flung him across the deck.

The ship was on fire. Most of the pirates were quickly abandoning ship. There were more barrels beneath the deck and Rainbow Dash suddenly realized they have to abandon ship along with the pirates. The Captain was laughing hysterically and shouted at Dash.

"The golden idol is already lost Dash! You'll never get it back. If you want to find it, Lady Rarity won't give it up without a fight." he continued laughing, believing Dash had failed.

"If that's the way it has to be, then so be it. We will find Lady Rarity and get back our idol." shouted Rainbow Dash.

"Um, what are you doing Dash, the ship is about to blow." Scootaloo asked.

"Oh, you know, making another dramatic scene. We should go now."

"Right behind you."

Scootaloo ran to the edge and jumped off without hesitation. Dash followed behind, leaving the Captain to continue laughing hysterically at his victory.

As they jumped off, the ship exploded with many barrels and shrapnel flying the two pegasi. Each and every one missing them because they knew they were heroes. Rainbow Dash held onto Scootaloo and spread her wings. She caught life and glided across the night sky. Both of them looked behind and saw the ship slowly deteriorating and falling in flames. They escaped the clutches of the evil pirate ponies and the jewel was safe with Rarity.

Dash and Scootaloo were pleased with the action sequence and flew off towards the sunrise in east, to Rarity's fancy boutique in the Steam capital of Canterlot
