Twilight was looking through her bookshelves on a late winter night. She looked through every title, from A to Z, forwards and backwards, but couldn't find anything to read. Though it wasn't until that familiar white book caught her eye that she gave up her search. It was sitting on her nightstand near her bed where she'd left it when she first bought it. It didn't have a title and was completely barren of any significant markings. Twilight was still confused as to why she'd actually bought it. It didn't really stand out from the others and was not in anyway very aesthetically appealing. The clerk told the princess that it was a very scary book. In fact, the clerk looked terrified just talking about it.

But, even with these facts aside, Twilight decided to purchase it, and now has decided to read it. The alicorn picked the book up in her magic aura and held it in the air as she sat in her bed. She carefully adjusted herself so as not to lay on her wings the wrong way, and cracked open the book.

The following is a gathering of records. Records made by different psychopaths from all around Equestria. Some are confusing, some are dark... Read at your own risk.

Twilight was hesitant to turn the page. After a moment of thought, she justified it as a work of fiction and a message meant to warm up the reader for later chapters.

I'm sitting outside her house right now... It's cold and very dark and I can't help but hate her for how happy she looks right now! Sitting inside in the nice, cozy, warmth with her family. I loathe her right now. I'm scribbling down these notes right now so someone else will read them and know my pain... I quietly trot up to the side of her house. I'm able to see her better now. The orange coated, yellow maned earth pony and her family. Her blue coated and black maned unicorn husband with their only child. Which happened to be a strange mixture of both parents' color patterns. They look happy right now. It isn't fair... In fact, it gives me justification for what I'm about to do...

I pull out a pair of wire cutters and rip open different boxes full of wires. I clip a few of the larger, more important looking wires and look back to the inside of the house. The power has gone out and it looks that everyone inside is thoroughly annoyed. I back away from the house a little and look for a way inside. I notice a window that is propped open on the second floor. It also appears that a ladder is sat next to a nearby tree house. This is very convenient.

As I prop the ladder up against their house, I am able to see the child hugging her mother in fear as the father heads upstairs for whatever reason; to try to fix the power or get flashlights or otherwise. I take another look at the mother... Solid Case. Solid Case, my ass! I shake my head and rush up the ladder. Once, I reach the top, I notice that I am in the child's room; not only that, but the fuse box also happens to be in here.

"Zap? Can you get some flashlights if the box doesn't work?" I hear Solid Case call.

"Sure thing, honey!" Her husband replies. The door begins to open and I quickly slide to the side of the room opposite the fuse box. Her husband enters, one of his hooves waving around so that he might not trip on something. He lights his horn as he opens the box. I take this opportunity to sneak up behind him.

"Huh?" Is his last word as I jab the end of my wire cutters into his jugular! The unicorn spins around to meet me and my enormous smile. His magic surrounds the wound as he tries to seal the vein, much to my amusement. But I immediately drop my smile once I notice the medical cross cutie mark and the fact that he's not dead yet. In a panic, I plunge the wire cutters into his throat. "CAK!" Then again! And again!" I see the magic faintly spread out across all of his wounds as he tries to seal them all at once.

"Stop it!" I whisper/shout. I raise the cutters above my head and deal the final blow directly to his forehead, just above his horn. The magic glow goes dark and his body goes still as I remove my tool from his skull.

"Zap?" Solid calls from downstairs. I remain completely silent. "Zap, come on. Now's not the time to be trying to scare us! Pebble is already terrified as it it!"

"Please, daddy. Just turn the lights back on!" Their voices sounded so sweet and innocent. So unaware that Zap was dead and that I wore most of his bodily fluids on my coat. I take a look back to the body, then to my tool. These wire cutters are amazing! That was at least a quarter inch of bone and still no chips!

"Stay down here, sweetie." I hear my target ascend her staircase. "Zap? Did you trip or something? Is that what that thump was?" Solid Case enters the room and I stay in the corner, near the door. The mare does the same hoof movements as her husband before she taps against his body. "What the-? *GASP*" I rush to her and punch her in the back of the head. Her unconscious body flops to the floor and I slap a hoof to my face once I realize that I brought Chloroform! I could've just killed her! I pull out the chemicals and lightly dampen a rag as I sneak down the pitch black stairs. My eyes were adjusted to the darkness to begin with so I had no difficult in traversing the descending landscape.

Finally, I see her daughter! Ah, the instrument of my revenge! I toss a small pebble I got from outside to the other side of the room. The half second, head turn was enough for my to sneak up behind her and place the rag over her mouth. A few muffled screams and a thump latter, and she's unconscious.

I have several candles lit around the room. Solid's husband's corpse is lying on the floor in front of her. She is tied to a chair and I am holding her daughter. I notice Solid begin to awaken at around the same time I feel stirring in my arms. Good, this shouldn't take as long as I thought. I think to myself.

"Uh....wha?..." Solid says when she wakes. "Uh... AAAGGHH!!! ZAAAAP!!!" The mare loses it when she sees her dead husband. She's flipping herself around in the chair, trying to get to him. I only laugh...

"Hello, Solid Case." I say as professionally as possible. The mare slowly lifts her head to see me.

"Y-you!"

"Recognize me?" I ask with her bound up daughter in my fore-hooves. I drop the filly to the floor. "I'M THE ONE WHO HAD TO LIVE WITH THE FACT THAT HIS FAMILY WAS DEAD AND THAT THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD HELP HIM DECIDED TO LEAVE!!!!" I scream in her face. I hear crying from behind and after a quick check, I confirm that the daughter is awake.

"B-but I didn't leave you, Window Sill!" She lies with tears in her eyes. "I stood by you until the end of the case!"

"NO, YOU DIDN'T!!! YOU WENT THROUGH WITH THE FIRST TRIAL! BUT WHEN YOU WERE CALLED BACK FOR ANOTHER, YOU TURNED ME DOWN!!!!" I scream in her face. She sobs a bit more when she tries to pull her head back.

"Mommy?!" I flip my head around and face the filly. "Mommy, what's going on?!"

"Calm down, honey! It's going to be okay!"

"No it isn't!" I say. "Your lying, conniving, two-faced mother will just tell you what you want to hear, then ditch you the first chance she gets! I bet if she wasn't tied up right now, she'd be gone." I say as I look back to her.

"M-mommy... I'm scared..."

"It's alright, Pebble..." I roll my eyes and grab the filly. Her mother screams and so does she.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!" The two are reduced to quiet sobs. I hold the filly to my chest and point my wire cutters at her face. "Do you see her face?" I ask. Solid has her eyes clenched. "LOOK AT ME!!!" I command. The mare opens her teary eyes and looks at her daughter. "This is the expression my own daughter had when she was murdered." I hold my wire cutters above my head,-

"STOP!!!" Solid screams. I hold still for a minute. "I'm sorry..." She says. "I'm so, so sorry that I wasn't there for you. I'm sorry." I look to her and smile.

"So am I." I swing the cutters down and plunge them into the filly's chest, making her cough up blood almost instantly.

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Her mother screams. "STOP! PLEASE STOOOOP!!" She laments with every strike. I wear a blank, lifeless expression while doing this. But, oh boy! I bet Solid Case is regretting a lot of things right now! Like leaving me alone in court, or not trying to help me like she said.... or leaving her daughter's window open. After a few seconds my foreleg gets tired from how hard I'm striking and I finally decide to stop. I look to the filly in my arms and find that she could have very well been dead several stabs ago! Better safe than sorry, I suppose... My ears have a chance to heal from the violent thrashing that Solid Case had given them with her awful screaming. I pull my wire cutters out of Pebble's neck and take a good look at them. I'll have to give that mechanic guy a call and thank him for the most durable pair of wire cutters I've ever used!

"Pebble... Zap... *SOB* Why?...." Solid looks me in they eyes. "Why would you punish them? I'm the one who hurt you!" I smile and return her glare.

"I punished them to punish you." I say. "I knew that this would be the best way to show you what you've done to me. And now you'll die knowing that you did about as much to help them, as you did to help me..."

I rear back and fling the cutters forward, jabbing them into her throat.

"CAKG!!" She chokes as blood from yet another pony sprays across my face. I get a good grip on the cutters and yank downward, which tares a horrible looking hole down the center of her neck. I see her try to scream but all that comes out are gurgles and bubbles of blood. After yanking the wire cutters back out of her neck, I untie her and let her body flop to the floor to lay with the rest of her family. I figured it was alright. Not a lot of warm embrace you can get from a family of corpses.

I'm not sure where I'll be leaving this little document... Regardless, I hope you've understood my plight.

Twilight stared at the last few words with a blank expression. She then closed the book and sat it off to the side.

"That was quite disturbing..." She said to herself. She didn't really know what to think of it. It was sadistic and insane, but it also sort of had reason; no reason logical, but still. She thought it was interesting, but didn't really like it. She thought it was a good read, but wouldn't suggest it to others.

"Ehh..." Twilight stared at the book. "Maybe just one more chapter."
