From the Blackness of the Night
"C'mon Twi, I don't think there is gonna be ah meteor shower tonight" Applejack said in disappointment. The others left from waiting for a possible
"But Princess Luna said there was going to be, she wouldn't lie." Twilight replied hoping that at least one small object would fall from the sky.
"No she wouldn't Twi," Applejack said trying to cheer her up, "maybe she made a mistake and it's going to come later this week. I'm going to bed now, you too?"
"No" ,Twilight answered "I'm going to check out the stars for a bit."
"Okay Sugarcube, see yah tomorrow" Applejack said walking away back to her farm with her eyes half open.
About an hour passed as Twilight looked through her telescope looking at stars and checking out in her book what their names are, who named them. and when they were discovered and named when some strange things flew from the sky.
"huh?" Twilight thought "These can't be the meteors Princess Luna said where going to come."
She was kinda right, ponies think Luna controls the night and the stars but that was a mistake. Twilight knew that, but she didn't know is that Luna can only predict what falls from the sky not make stuff like comets and rocks on command.
These were not meteors though, they were red and blue balls of some sort of crystalized light. Twilight was amazed though, they were changing direction and clashing against each other like how pegasi do in air battle.
Twilight was frozen in what was going on, he had mixed feelings of shock, awe, and excitement. She thought she discovered something new and was grabbing her quill and some paper to write it all while running back to Ponyville to tell everyone and get Princess Celestia or someone on this. She didn't realize while running that she didn't see that from one more collision that the red ball of light ricocheted and crashed leaving a long crater.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Twilight screamed hoping to outrun the impact the object until she was enveloped by a bright light and turned into darkness.
When Twilight Sparkle awoke she was floating in what looked like the red ball, then she heard a voice that sounded like it was behind her.
"What is your name little mare?"
She turned around and saw an alicorn with a silver expressionless face with oval shaped eyes made of some sort of light and a silver and red body. The body was red on the neck, around the middle of the main body, and the middle of both sets of legs and silver at both ends of the body including the tail, the bottom and top parts of all four legs and it's shiny and beautiful wings.
"I am Twilight Sparkle. Who are you" Twilight answered nervously, hoping that whatever was talking to her was friendly.
"I am Ultramare, from a distant galaxy we call P84. I was chasing an alien fugitive named Beluar when my ship crashed and killed you, I am sorry."
Twilight was shocked "DEAD! I can't be dead, what about my friends and family. Whose going to take over the Element of Magic now and what if some new threat comes before they could"
"Relax Ms. Sparkle," Ultramare replied "I brought you back to life."
Twilight exhaled when she heard this, "Well thank you."
"But there is a problem: You see my ship is damage and I can't survive on your planet because my race can only survive in a solar system with a yellow sun like yours for only a few minuets."
Twilight felt sorry "Is there anything I can do?"
"Yes, I need you to be my body host until I am hopefully able to get back to my home. You will still have control, whenever you fell like you are in danger or need to help others, use your magic horn and think about me then you will turn into me. Can you do that?"
"Yeah" Twilight answered, feeling scared about taking this kind of responsibility, "but what about this Beluar?"
"He is probably taking rest after our fight somewhere close, this means we have to find him quick"
"Okay, I can get my friends and we'll".
"Not yet. Don't tell anypony about this until I am sure. On other planets, others fear my race thinking they are conquerors when we try to protect them."
"Okay then, just for a while" Twilight settled but not liking keeping her friends out of this, "What happens now?"
"You will wake up and try to find Beluar, deal?" Ultramare asked.
"Deal." said Twilight.
They extended one of their front hooves like they were about to touch when a bright light came between them and blinded Twilight.
Twilight woke up in the middle of the crater of where Ultramare's ship crashed but there were no remains of it anywhere.
"That wasn't a dream then," Twilight said to herself when she realized, "That mean's Beluar is real too!! I got to get back to Ponyville".
With all the speed Twilight could muster, she hurried back into town and quickly as she could.
With all that has happened and all that will happened, will Twilight find Beluar before he destroys a town? What is Beluar and where is he? Will Twilight got what it takes to be the host for this being called Ultramare, can Ultramare be able to stop Beluar before she dies?
