Shining Armor visits Twilight, but when he goes to get her coffee, sees breaking news that Manehattan has been attacked. The Secretary of Defense then informs him that the alicorns have been taken in for protection although Celestia and Luna are MIA and that he must now become the sole monarch of Equestria.
