What seemed like a perfectly normal day turns awry when a shadow overtakes Appleloosa and traps everypony within four impenetrable walls of darkness. When the shadow begins to go on the offense, however, the only two than can save the earth-pony settlement are the two unicorns that were in-town when the shadow hit. Unfortunately, those two ponies are Twilight Sparkle and Trixie. Can they get along long enough to figure out how to destroy the veil of darkness from overtaking Appleloosa, and perhaps all of Equestria?
