Ash Cloud, a stallion who just recently graduated from the Canterlot School for the Sciences, takes a job as a miner in the desolate Smokey Mountains. Once there, he learns that the workers have a strong distrust for unicorns due to a recent mining accident. Adding to the conflict is the superstitious nature of the miners clashing with Ash's science-centered mind. Can Ash complete his dangerous job? Or will he be consumed by the mines and his own co workers?
