"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAH!"

A scream rushed through a small room inside the house of a young alicorn named Color Clouds. She was sitting up, her heart racing, fear in her eyes, catching her breath.

The door slammed open and a figure ran across the room to her bed. It was Color's mother, Autumn Sunset.

"Color Clouds? What happened? Did you hurt yourself?" her mother sat on the floor beside her bed, looking at Color Clods with worried eyes, waiting for an answer. But Color Clouds refused to speak. She was too frightened at the dream she had awoken from.

"Color Clouds...?" her mother brushed her hoof in Color Clouds' messy mane.

"I'm sorry, it's just that..." Color Clouds trembled with fear.

"Oh sweetie..." Autumn hugged her with comfort, "you can tell me, was it a bad dream?"

After Autumn Sunset had let go of Color, she again, waited for an answer. It was a long silence before Color Clouds finally spoke up.

"It was a bad dream alright..." she said, calming herself, knowing that it was only a dream.

"Nightmares can be scary sweetie, in fact legend has it, that when ponies get bad dreams, it has to do with Princess Luna in anger of something or somepony. At the time when she was banished to the moon, it seemed as if every day ponies were having nightmares. And when I was your age, and at the time when Luna was still on the moon, I was in fact having nightmares every night. The same one, or at least a continuation of the same one. Like a book series, where there's more than just one book, but there's a sequel to it, and it could end at book four, five, even ten. But for the nightmares that I had at the time, there was no final book. There was no ending. It just continued."

Color Clouds sat in her bed and for a long moment, thought about what her mother had just said. "The nightmares will just continue?" she told her mind, scared, angry, and sad at the thought.

"You can leave now...I'm going back to sleep." Color Clouds dismissed her mother.

"Alright sweetie. Remember that I'm always here for you, even if you get the most terrifying nightmares." Her mother walked out the bedroom door, and closed it slowly.

Color Clouds leaned back onto her bed, and still left with the words of her mother zooming though her mind, she fell asleep.

"Wake up..." said a familiar voice.

"Wake up..." it called continuously.

Color Clouds woke, looking around. Her room was still dark, and she was still in her bed.

"Only her..." the voice whispered.

"Oh no, not you again. I am NOT falling for your tricks again!" Color Clouds yelled in anger.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUGH!"

A strong deep scream swarmed the room, and Color Clouds recognized that scream from anywhere. Blue Blaze.

Blue Blaze, her coltfriend, the stallion of her dreams, she loved and cared for him so much. He had a light blue coat and a dark blue and black mane, and had eyes the color of a chocolate birthday cake. His cutie mark was a blue fire, blazing upward or something. Though Blue Blaze refuses to tell the story behind the blue fire, she was still very curious about his cutie mark, thinking of theories about how he got it.

But her beloved stallion screaming, only filled her eyes with tears and her sadness turned into a fierce anger.

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH BLUE BLAZE?! HUH?!" she screamed, looking all over the room for the spirit who had haunted her dreams before.

"Find out..." the voice made a final call.

"RAAAAAAAUGH!" Color Clouds barged out her bedroom door, following the voice, that continuously teased her.

The voice had finally stopped, and so had Color Clouds. She glanced around where she was standing, in the front room, a few feet away from the door. She opened the front door, and figured out what the voice was calling from. It had to be coming from his house, just some neighborhoods away from her house.

She closed the front door, stepped out into the yard, opened her wings and took flight to find her love.

She flew, searching for the house of Blue Blaze. After a few minutes of searching from the air, she saw a familiar rooftop. It had to be his house. Clouds flew down, and looked at the mailbox in the yard to his house.

"11739" the mailbox read. This is the house.

She opened the door slowly. Walking in quietly, Color looked around the house of where he lived.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAUGH! STOP IT! STOP! WHAT'S GOTTEN INTO YOU COLOR CLOUDS?! STOP! AAAUGH!" a voice yelled from a room just upstairs.

"Blue Blaze?! BLUE BLAZE! BLUE!" Color Clouds hollered for his attention.

She followed the screams upstairs, and broke down the door with a buck of her back legs.

The insane Color Clouds was on top of Blue Blaze, levitating a knife, prepared to stab him in the heart like Color Clouds.

"Blue Blaze!?" she gasped.

"Color Clouds?! What the heck?! Why are there two of you?!" he looked at Color Clouds with fear and confusion.

"It's because I'm a buckin' evil spirit who's lived inside her damn body for years. Isn't it obvious that this isn't how the real Color Clouds would act? If so then boy you've got one crazy marefriend."  Insane Clouds said.

"Color Clouds is that true?" Blue blaze asked, his head turned towards the yellow alicorn.

"Yes...but this doesn't mean that I was ever evil. In fact I never knew she hid inside me, that is until-"

"Shut up already Clouds. You're already dead and I need to kill this dude. So...shoo shoo, I don't need you here." Insane Color Clouds interrupted.

She lifted the knife, and stabbed it into Blue's heart. A deep scream filled Color Cloud's ear. She then jumped, landing onto the killer. She punched her, beating her up, and before she knew it, both of them were fighting back at each other.

"Blu Blaze, get the kni-" Before she could finish, she got punched in the mouth.

Blue Blaze looked over left and right for the knife, then looked from behind. He spotted it, and levitated it.

Slowly and cautiously, he sneaked up on the killer impostor, and then threw the knife into her back. She screamed and turned around, leaped into him and grabbed the knife from the ground where it fell. She sunk it hard into his body, pain and shrieking was the only thing heard throughout the room.

Then, Color Clouds, left on the ground, unable to take action and saving him because of the pain from Insane Clouds punching her, listened as he suffered from the knife stabbed into his chest. Suddenly, Blue Blaze stopped shrieking, it was only mumbles now. Color Clouds sat up, tears in her eyes from what she had thought was the end of his life. But he wasn't. He was being kissed by the killer. Color suddenly got struck with anger and confusion.

"WHAT THE HELL?! GET AWAY FROM MY COLTFRIEND!" Color Clouds roared, shaking as she slowly got up to attack her.

Color Clouds ran and attacked. She pushed her away from Blue Blaze, and fought again. Color Clouds turned to her side to see the bloody knife beside her, levitated it, and stabbed her continuously, until she was trembling and breathing heavily, unable to make another move. Then for the final time, Color Clouds sliced an X on her chest with the knife, then struck the knife in the middle of it.

She turned to Blue Blaze, and ran over to him.

"Blue Blaze..." she laid next to him, scanning at all the scars and cuts that the evil Clouds had created. His eyes were closed, and he was breathing at a fast pace. Color Clouds could feel the tears collecting in her eyes and slowly rolling down her cheek.

"Color Clouds..." Blue Blaze whispered, opening his eyes to see Color's sorrowful face.

"Blue...I'm sorry..." Color Clouds began to cry. "I'm sorry that I couldn't save you..."

"Don't be sorry Color...you did save me already, long before this. You saved me from being alone...and you rescued me...with love."

Color Clouds leaned over to him slowly. She pressed her lips against his, softly and carefully. Once she had lifted her head from the kiss, she noticed a thankful smile on Blue Blaze.

"I love you Clouds..." Blue Blaze whispered, his eyes shutting to see his last of Color Clouds.

"I love you too...Blaze..." Color Clouds responded, smiling while tears rolled down her cheek quicklier than before.

Her smile faded away seconds later, only then to be met with sadness.

She turned around, glancing to find the killer Clouds. But she disappeared from her spot, the knife was gone too. The only thing left of her was the blood on the ground.

Then she turned back to Blue. She stroked his soft yet partially bloody mane. She stopped and laid onto him, and held him tight.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! AAAAAAAAAAAUGH!"

Just the next morning, Blue Blaze woke up startled, shivering from the nightmare of last night.

The door slammed open, only to be greeted by his mother, Feather Breeze.

"Blue? What happened?" She walked over to his bed.

"Just...a bad dream...that's all...I'm alright..." he said, feeling a little more calm.

"Alright then. Come down for breakfast later, I'm making some waffles and eggs.

Blue Blaze was sitting up in his bed, reviewing the sights that he had seen in his nightmare. Being killed by an insane version on Color Clouds sounds more frightening than it is, especially if it all seems so real. Being stabbed felt so realistic, everything. But he was glad that it wasn't real. He had to see Color Clouds at once to tell her.

He galloped downstairs, passed the kitchen, but was paused from his mother.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" his mother asked.

"Um, I gotta-uh, a friend of mine needs to see me right now." he excused and ran out the door.

Galloping from house to house, he searched for his love's home. Finally after minutes of searching for her house down the neighborhoods, he spotted the house where it looked most familiar. He knocked on the door of the house and waited for an answer.

The door opened, and in the way was Color Clouds. For a moment she just stared at him, and then hugged him.

"Blue...don't ever leave me again...please..." Color Clouds whispered.

Blaze was silent for a moment. "I won't Color...I will never leave you..."

Color released herself from the hug and told him to come inside. She opened the door to her bedroom, walked in with him, and closed it from behind. They both took a seat on the small little bed and began to discuss the nightmares.

"Blue Blaze...I'm glad you came. I'm in desperate need to talk to you." Clouds began.

"Me too..." Blue whispered.

"Last night...I had a nightmare...two actually. The first one was about an inner evil spirit of me who wanted to kill me...for no reason. It all just seemed so realistic, and when she was stabbing me with a knife...it felt as if she really were stabbing me. I could feel the pain. I woke up screaming, my mother came into my room to comfort me, and told me that there's a legend that when I have bad dreams, it's because Princess Luna is upset or something...then once I fell asleep again, I had the same beginning of the dream, and I heard you screaming, I ran to go and save you from being killed by the killer, but I was too late..." Color Clouds explained.

Blue Blaze turned and stared at Color Clouds for a long time. Then he began his story.

"I was having a bad dream last night also. I woke up only to be met by the face of you...only a more...insane type. I was screaming. Suddenly, you came into the room, and you...tried to fight. Then she defeated you and tried to kill me. Then, for some odd reason...she kissed me. I saw you getting extremely pissed, and you jumped on her and started attacking her. You like killed her or something. My heart was bumping less and less. You came over, apologized for not saving me, and kissed me. I like...died..smiling..."

"Guess she was jealous huh?" Color Clouds spoke up after thinking about what he had just told her.

"What do you mean?" Blue raised an eyebrow.

"The killer Color Clouds. I guess she was just jealous that you've got such a cute marefriend, so she kissed you just so that she could die happy or whatever." Color Clouds giggled quietly.

Blue Blazed smiled. He grabbed Color Clouds and hugged her, then he fell onto the bed with her.

"Clouds...why did we share a dream?" Blue Blaze asked for a moment.

"I'm not sure. A sign maybe?" Color Clouds shrugged.

Then they both were silent, the only thing they could hear were their own breathing and the birds chirping outside.

Color Clouds looked up at the stallion and smiled. He looked down at her, and smiled back. Then he leaned closer to her and kissed her softly and lovingly. They separated from each other's lips, and stared at each other.

"I will never leave you Color Clouds." Blue Blaze whispered in her ear.

"And I will never leave you either, Blue Blaze." Color Clouds whispered back.

Later after Blue Blaze had left, Color Clouds was left in her bedroom and thought about earlier, about the dreams that Blue Blaze and herself shared, and how frightened both of them were, how they both woke up screaming, both of their mothers came in to comfort, it just didn't seem...right.

Color Clouds got off her bed and paced around her bedroom. She couldn't figure out what kind of magic this was, if Luna was really upset and giving ponies nightmares. What if other ponies had some kind of nightmare, only with them in it, and the killer Color Clouds was killing them instead? She was frightened at the thought. She walked out of her room, and to the kitchen she went. She sat at the table, only then to be greeted by her mother. Autumn Sunset was carrying a bowl of cereal for her, and placed it on the table for her.

"Mother?" Color Clouds began.

"Yes sweetie?" she responded with full attention.

"Have you had any bad dreams lately..?" she asked, looking up to her mother.

"Yes...why?" Autumn Sunset questioned.

"Well...I've been having quite a few lately. How 'bout you?"

"I've gotten three nightmares last night...and, not to freak you out or anything, they all involved you in it, but it wasn't you. It was like, a killer version of you. And she was stabbing me with a knife, and I could actually feel the pain..."

Color Clouds stared at her. She was speechless, and unable to make any sort of reaction.

"I know, dreams get a little out of hand sometimes..." she said.

Autumn turned and went back to the kitchen to clean dishes. Color Clouds sat in silence, leaving her cereal to become soggy and unappetizing. She stood up and cantered to the front door, opening it and closing it from behind. She opened her wing and took flight, riding through the air. She searched for a cloud to rest on and to get her thoughts organized. She did so, choosing a bog and roomy cloud to lay on in comfort.

While she rested on the fluffy cloud, she wondered about the dreams, she made theories, what if only the ones who are nearest and dearest to her got some sort of connecting nightmare? Is this some sort of witchcraft? Magic? Color Clouds thought and thought, but she had no sort of idea why everypony was getting these horrifying dreams.

Suddenly a figure popped over her head, it was a pink pony with a bush mane, that looked almost like cotton candy.

"Hi there!" Pinkie Pie greeted with a high pitched squeak.

"Pinkie Pie?" Color Clouds looked up at her.

"Hia! You're invited to a cupcake tasting party!" She squealed with excitement.

"Um...how'd you-" Color Clouds looked up at her and saw that she was tied to balloons that got her to float in the sky.

"Nevermind." Color Clouds giggled softly.

"Hope you can come! There's gonna be plenty of delicious cupcakes to try! It's pretty much all you can eat cupcakes party!" Pinkie Pie floated away with her big basket of invitations.

"Pinkie Pie wait!" Color Clouds got off her cloud and flew up to her.

"What? Did I give you someone else's invitation?"

"No, I just gotta ask you something."

"Sure! What is it?"

"Have you been getting any nightmares lately?"

"Well, just last night, I had this freaky dream where an evil impostor me came along and started to kill me! It felt like it was so realistic! I mean when she got a birthday cake knife and started stabbing me with it, I could actually feel the pain! It was craaaazy!"

Color Clouds nodded and flew back to her cloud, with the thoughts still in her mind.

"Not only do my loved ones get these nightmares, but so do...my friends?"

Color Clouds frightened with the deepest theory yet rested on the cloud and slept, the invitation by her side. She slept, but with a bad dream following. It was a bad dream, ponies who she knew, yelling at her, saying that it's all her fault for giving them bad dreams of them being killed by an insane version of themselves or herself, when it's not.
