Typhoon Cobra, better known as Halsey's Typhoon for the tenacious Admiral of the fleet that encountered it. This category four typhoon struck the U.S. Third Fleet in December of 1944. Despite badly damaging some ships and sinking three destroyers, it had no real effect on the outcome of WW2. However, as Halsey and his ships emerge from the storm, they discover that they're in a different sea all together.
