//-------------------------------------------------------// A Story of Spike {and some white pony) -by ultrahardcoreswagboss- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A Plan Worth Planning //-------------------------------------------------------// A Plan Worth Planning                Rarity was laying on her bed, something she seemed to do often now. It was funny, Spike always seemed to be interested in her ever since she moved here, but now  it seemed he forgot she existed.               Whenever she entered the library witch Spike lived, his eyes would roll into the back of his head and be replaced by beating pink hearts. Not anymore. Now when she entered, she would barley get his eyes to look up, rather than entrance him like prior. And she hated it. It was like some large part of her heart just shriveled up saying "I don't care anymore".            "Oh woe is me" she sighs, falling back on her pillows. "I've tried gems, chocolate, chocolate gems, pizza and even those weird hot dogs on sticks covered in batter". Nothing worked, and it just dawned on her that all of the gifts were food... "Maybe I should try something else". "Does Spike like flowers?" Yes! That could work! Flowers are clearly romantic, suggestive, and cheap. This could work! "Oh silly Rarity" she scolds herself. "If Spike were interested in gifts than he would have showed it already". "I need a plan, a marvelous, intricate, genius plan that would win the heart of my little Spikey-Wikey, and save him from servitude of Twilight Sparkle!". This was one of the reasons that she used to justify her obsessive need to take him for herself. "To save him from the tyrant hooves of the slave driver!". As she put in her diary. But really, Twilight did not work him to hard, just sometimes she secretly blamed her for Spike's I-can't-see-that-Rarity-loves-me thing because he was too tired to notice anything, let alone her subtle attempts a flirting. But enough about that, she needed to plan her plan, and she knew just what to do.                                                                                                                                                                                            Back at the Ponyville library, the young assistant, and object of Rarity's desires, was working dutifully on the tasks that were assigned to him by his best friend Twilight Sparkle. These tasks consisted of dusting, sweeping, doing laundry and making the check-out lists. Out of all of them his favorite was non of them. They all sucked, for various reasons. But Twilight told him to, so its not like he had a choice. Just as he was about to finish dusting the bookcases, he heard the sweet sound of Twilight, giving him more orders. "And after your done would you please check for overdue books?" She asks. He can feel himself getting shaky just thinking about the extra work. And as soon as the door opens and a white mare struts in, he falls off his perch, landing with a thunk.
