The lost love.
Beginnings
Load Full Story"WHAT?!" The white stallions eyes open wide in shock.
"I am your daughter." The black shape-shifter in front of him replied.
"How is that even possible?" Shining Armor tried to process the changeling in front of him, she was black as most were with dark green hair and piercing green eyes. She was fixing him with a firm gaze, Shining took an uneasy shuffle backwards as he thought of all the times this could have happened, none sprang to mind except.. "There was that time before my wedding when Cadence seemed extremely eager to.." His thoughts trailed off as he realized what had happened. The night Cadence had her way with him, well it wasn't Cadence at all. The stallions eyes grew even wider as this thought bounced around his mind. The changeling standing before him WAS his daughter, and this revelation only confused him more.
"How can you prove that you are who you say you are?" His eyes narrowing in distrust.
The changeling sighs before fixing him with a freezing glance "Why would we still be talking if I wasn't?" She let him mull this over for a bit "I could have posed as Cadence as my mother did, or a completely different pony for that matter."
The unicorn frowns as he tries to process this new information. Could this changeling in front of him REALLY be his daughter? She certainly seemed to think so. No.. it was more than just thinking, she was CERTAIN of it.
"So did Chrysalis raise you?" He asked, looking at her deep green eyes.
"I was born abandoned...lost. Only my remaining changeling brothers kept me company. They raised me. They taught me to hate everything and everypony around me." A single tear rolled down her dark cheek, the trail glistening in the sun.
"So if that IS true, how do I know you're not planning to kill me?" The stallions eyes narrowing with mistrust.
"All I ever wanted... Was for somepony to love..." she whimpers "... me..." The mare starts to cry and sob, falling to the floor feeling defeated.
"If you truly are my daughter.." The stallion lifts up the mares head "I will love you like my own."
She senses a little of his compassion but pulls away uneasily, still not completely convinced.
