How Fluttershy Lost her Friends: Rarity
Fluttershy was walking slowly back from the market. She had needed some food for her and her animals. Fluttershy was still hung on what happened six weeks ago, when Rainbow Dash died. Fluttershy began to weep as she recalled the events.
"I call this the Curly Rainbow."
BOOM!
"Help."
Help. That was the last word that Rainbow Dash had said to her. Fluttershy had become a fast flyer in honor of Rainbow Dash. Every time she flew she was always regretting how she wished she could of been this fast before." Oh stupid Fluttershy!" Fluttershy had began to quietly cry. "Why couldn't you of saved her. You should of been a better flyer before."
Fluttershy had finally reached her home. She opened the door softly to be sure not to disturb the animals mid-day nap. Fluttershy sat the groceries on the counter in her kitchen and went outside for her flight practice. Fluttershy always stretched and flew about a mile. Today was Thursday though. Fluttershy always flew two miles to reach Rainbow Dash's grave. Rainbow Dash had put in her Will that she wanted to be buried in a very private area in Sweet Apple Acres. It had been said she always took naps their after her practices. Fluttershy stopped at the market once more because she forgot something to put on Rainbow Dash's grave. She paid sixty bitts on a bouquet of lily and rose blossoms. Fluttershy looked down to see Rarity carrying some flowers too. Fluttershy landed next to the beautiful fashion crazed pony. "Hey Rarity where are you going?" Fluttershy had said upon her landing.
Rarity looked up and jumped as if she'd just been touched by a ghost. "Ah! Oh Fluttershy it's just you. You frightened me." Rarity took a second to calm herself down before answering Fluttershy's ignored question. "I'm on my way to pay my respects to our beloved friend Rainbow Dash. Since I couldn't be there for her funeral, I am on my to show that I did care for our friend."
It took a moment for Fluttershy to remember that Rarity had not shown up at the funeral. Rarity was off in Manehattan for some new fashion line she was introducing, and could not attend. Everypony that Rainbow Dash had known had been there. Her friends, the Wonderbolts, even the Princesses. "That's nice of you Rarity I'm on my way to do the same."
"Really?'' Rarity asked surprised.
"Really. Every Thursday I fly out to her grave to leave her something and say a few words."
"Do all our friends do this?"
" Yes. Twilight hasn't been showing up lately, because of her duties back at the castle, but everyone else has. Usually Applejack stays the longest."
"That is nice of them I wish I could of been there the day she died. I bet look like a selfish no-good friend to everypony else."
" NO not at all Rarity. Our friends still think of you the same way as they did before the incident." Fluttershy watched as few tears crawled down Rarity's cheek.
Fluttershy and Rarity continued the path to Rainbow Dash's grave. When they finally arrived Applejack and Pinkie Pie were standing next to the tree she was buried beneath. Applejack was crying softly and had her hat off. Pinkie Pie had her hair in that drooped fashion,trying to hold back tears. It was like this everytime they were out here. They all cried as they remembered their dear friend Rainbow Dash. Rarity and Fluttershy walked up slowly to the grave and laid their flowers down to give to their lost friends. "Should we have a moment of silence." Rarity, who had never shown up to see Rainbow Dash die, said she wanted it to be quiet to morn. They all did just that. For about a minute they stood there and remembered their friend.
"I need to start heading back home." Pinkie Pie said as she wiped the tears from her face.
"Same here. I'd like to go home and take my mind off all this." Rarity added. Both ponies walked off and left Fluttershy and Applejack alone together.
"Would you like me to go?" Fluttershy asked Applejack, figuring she wanted her time with Rainbow Dash.
"That would be mighty kind of ya." applejack said. " I don't really want anybody to know what I say when I stay here."
Fluttershy gave a nod and flew off. Fluttershy had to make up for practice by flying across the town. When she was done she headed home to tend to her animals. Upon arrival to her home though she spotted something peculiar that lit up the sunset.She was flying back from the edge of the Everfree forest and back across Ponyville when she saw it. It looked like a fire. a building had been set on fire, and not just any building. It was the Carousel Boutique. Fluttershy gasped in horror and flew down quickly to check out the scene. Futtershy looked around for the nearest firefighter. "Excuse me."
The firefighter was suiting up as if he had to go save somebody on the inside.
"Sorry little girl, I'm kind of busy." the firefighter said in a rush. "Somebody is in the building."
With that Fluttershy knew it was her friend Rarity. Fluttershy stood on the side and watched two fighters go in the building. It took a while for them to come back out but when they did they were carrying a white and black pony. Black? "That doesn't look like my friend?" Fluttershy said to herself. When the pony was brought closer Fluttershy could actually tell it was Rarity, but she was covered in burns. Fluttershy was taken aback as she thought of the luscious form of what used to be Rarity compared to her now.
As she always did when catastrophe was taken place, Fluttershy went home in tears. Her animals woke up to see the pony crying on her couch. The animals seemed to be trying to calm her down. "It happened again. Another one of my friends are....are....are.... DEAD!" Fluttershy cried heavily. Of course she didn't know if Rarity was dead or not but she'd looked like she had been burned badly. " It's only been six weeks. Six, and another one is gone. Is God out for my friends." Fluttershy went into a soul search-y state thinking about what would happen to her other friends. Would they all die if God was actually trying to kill them. Fluttershy had to snap herself out of her daze, and accompanied her mind with other thoughts and tasks. She began to cook,feed,and clean herself and the animals. all while doing so she: think about her job,practice, alive friends, and Angel's birthday. Then came time for bed. filled with all the happy thoughts she'd been thinking about she fell asleep.
Fluttershy woke up, looked outside and saw the morning sun. She went downstairs made her and her animals some breakfast and sat down to watch some TV. "Oh Angel Bunny, I had the strangest dream last night. Rarity's store caught on fire and she died." Fluttershy sat down and started to watch TV. A few minutes in to her show it was interrupted by breaking news.
"Breaking News a fire occurred in Ponyville last night around 10 p.m. The fire was caused by a flammable dress placed next to a stove. The fire injured one and killed one. The death was of BonBon who lived happily with a girl named Lyra. The injured pony was of Rarity the owner of the store. Now back to your regularly scheduled programs."
So it hadn't been a dream. What happened last night was real, it really happened. Fluttershy thought as she remembered Rarity's burnt face and having to be dragged out of her shop. "Oh....oh my." Fluttershy said quietly. A brief moment after saying that there was a knock on the door. " I wonder who that could be?" Fluttershy got up and walked over to the door slowly. When she opened the door she was shocked to see who it was.
"Rarity!?!"

Note: If you did not read the first one with Rainbow Dash the beginning may of been confusing.
Well that's a rap on this chapter. The first story was just to start off the rest of series, so that's why it didn't have anymore chapters. Some of you pointed out that this is going to really depressing so i came up with a plan. After every story look down here in the notes to see a joke. Comment what jokes you also like and i'll even might tell your favorite kinds of jokes. I don't want anybody to be sad or anything, but this is the kind of stories i like reading on here so i wanted to write one.
Joke:A College Professor was telling his class that final exam is tomorrow and that there is no excuse for being absent except illness, injury, or immediate death of a family member. One of the cocky kids in the back says, " What about sexual exhaustion?" The whole class laughs. when it is silent again the Professor looks up and replies, " Don't worry, you can write with you other hand."
How Fluttershy Lost her Friends: Rarity
Fluttershy was shocked to see her friend, after just watching what had appeared on the news. "Hello Fluttershy, how are you dear?"
"How am I? What about you what happened are you okay?" Fluttershy asked in her soft voice.
"Oh, so you noticed?"
"Yes I noticed. Your Boutique got burnt down and you have sca-" Fluttershy was cut short of her words.
"They are not scars or burns, they are beauty marks. I got them for being hot."
Fluttershy looked over her friend. She had multiple beauty marks all over her body. On her legs, her hooves, face, flank.
" How were you let out of the hospital?" Fluttershy gestured Rarity inside as Rarity replied.
"The doctors said that my body would heal fast. Even though these beauty marks won't go away."
"So why did you come here?"
"You see dear that now i have no rightful place to call mine, and I was wondering if I could stay at your house until I can get back on my feet. Can I please?" Rarity asked. Fluttershy nodded. Fluttershy showed her hurt friend her new room, and sat down to tell her how glad she is to know she is alive.
"Was the dress for that set everything on fire for BonBon?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes. It was her dress to wear to Lyra's brothers wedding. After the wedding Lyra was supposed to propose to BonBon. They had been dating a while ya'know."
"Yes, I know but why did it catch on fire?"
"Ya see I kind of.... well I did..... maybe set it next to my burning stove."
"Oh Rarity what are we going to do with you?" Fluttershy said in a somewhat joking voice.
Fluttershy brought Rarity up to her new room. Fluttershy always had a guest room in her house, just in case her friends wanted to sleepover. That never happened though. Rarity thanked Fluttershy for allowing her stay at her home. "I've got to work with my animals and go practice my flying. Will you be okay Rarity?" The white unicorn nodded her head and laid on her new bed. Fluttershy went downstairs and did her usual routine on the animals. She then preceded to go outside when she heard soft whimpers coming from inside her cottage. Fluttershy flew up to Rarity's room from the outside, and saw the unicorn crying softly.
"What are you thinking Rarity? You'll never be as beautiful as before." Rarity spoke to herself. Fluttershy continued to listen.
"Why would anybody look at this body and say, Wow look at that mare! Looking sexy as always. Nopony that's who!"
"But they may see the good on the inside." Rarity said to herself. Fluttershy was confused at this moment. Was she speaking with two sides of herself?
"Nopony cares whats on the inside." Rarity said to herself. "All stallions go straight for the looks. GEE-SH! Your a fashion pony for crying out loud, you should know this."
Rarity touched her scars. " These aren't beauty marks. These are a disgrace!" Rarity fell to the floor and began to cry. Fluttershy watched from the window. As she was watching though she was kind of scared of what she saw. At one point Rarity was crying deeply, now she is laughing. Nothing was being funny. She wasn't even laughing with her regular laugh. It was almost as if she'd been struck with evilness. Fluttershy watched in horror as her friend had gone completely stir-crazy. Fluttershy flew off and tried to forget what she saw.
Fluttershy flew down to Sugar Cube Corner. She entered the shop, and immediately Fluttershy jumped out of the way of the cake twins, who both said, " HI FLUTTERSHY!" as they ran through. Pinkie Pie was giving some people some cookies to-go, when she spotted Fluttershy. Hey Fluttershy!" Pinkie said, calling her over.
"Hi Pinkie. Did you hear what happened to Rarity?"
"Yes I did. Tragic happening, but I still have to keep a smile." Pinkie said with a big grin on her face.
"Yeah, well Rarity has moved in with me and earlier I saw her having like these really bad mood swings. It was frightening. She started talking to two sides of herself, and she began to cry. Then just burst out laughing horribly. Almost evil like."
"That's terrible. Did you say anything to her?"
"No I'm planning on it though. I stopped by to grab a cake for me and Rarity I placed an order like an hour ago."
"Okay. Here it is, your chocolate vanilla icing sprinkle surprise cake. Bye Fluttershy!"
"Bye Pinkie." Fluttershy said then left.
When Fluttershy returned home she went into the kitchen set her cake down, and started to cook dinner. When she was done she called rarity down to eat. "Rarity. The food is done." Fluttershy said in her regular voice. Maybe she didn't hear me. Fluttershy walked up her stairs and knocked on the door. " Rarity dinner is done. I got some cake to eat afterwards too."
Fluttershy leaned against the door and heard choking and Rarity's voice.
"You think I'm ugly now don't you! Why don't you experience the pain I've been through!" Rarity screamed at someone in the room. Fluttershy just decided to leave her aloe she's probably just choking a doll and talking to herself again. Fluttershy sat down to eat and called for Angel to accompany her. " Angel. come eat with me." When there was no Angel she called again." Angel do you want to come eat with mommy?" Usually Angel would come by then. Fluttershy got up and walked to Angel's bed. He wasn't there, so he decided to check with Rarity. " Rarity have you seen.........." Fluttershy Stopped in her words as she looked at what Rarity was doing.
" Your going to die just like my prettiness did!" Rarity yelled out at the bunny she had being choked to death.
"Rarity! STOP!" Fluttershy darted forward and tackled Rarity to set Angel free. "What are you doing?!?"
"He was laughing at me and calling me names and being so rude. I had to show him no one laughs at Rarity." Rarity giggled a bit crazily.
"That doesn't mean you had to choke him!" Fluttershy said infuriated. Fluttershy felt a little out of place so she calmed herself down and said, "Look Rarity. Please don't hurt my animals, and please don't hurt yourself. I'm giving you one more chance to stop being crazy."
Rarity nodded. Her body tweaked a little, but she got up and walked over to the restroom. Fluttershy went to go check in Angel. "Angel are you okay baby?" The bunny gestured with a thumbs up. Angel was still short on breath, but he was going back to his normal self. Fluttershy sat on the couch with Angel and finished her dinner. When she was done she noticed Rarity hadn't come out of the bathroom. Fluttershy walked over to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Rarity are you all right?"
"Of course darling. I'm just "refining" my looks." Rarity said.
Fluttershy looked confused. She turned around and started to head back to the living room, when she was stopped by Rarity.
"How do I look Fluttershy?" Rarity asked. Fluttershy looked at her in complete disgust.
"Rarity, what did you do?" Fluttershy said.
"I just made a few tweaks to my body. Of course red isn't my color, but it will have to do. I'll wear it as long as I'm pretty again." Rarity said.
Fluttershy was out of words. Rarity had gone in the bathroom, and cut off ALL of her burns. They were all cut out from her skin. Rarity's face was covered in blood. Rarity didn't seem to care though. Rarity only did this because she wanted to be beautiful again.
"Rarity we need to get you to a hospital." Fluttershy demanded.
" Nonsense dear. I am completely fine. You still didn't tell me how......." Rarity was caught off by a sudden pain that went through her she collapsed.
"Rarity!"
Rarity looked up and saw Fluttershy standing next to her trying to help her up.
"Fluttershy? How do I look?" Rarity asked again, then died without another word.
"You look.... you look..... you look.... beautiful." Fluttershy said to Rarity's dead body. Fluttershy shed a tear and said it again.
"Beautiful."
