A thousand years ago, before Nightmare Moon threatened Equestria with her Eternal night, a war took place on the countries soil. Many brave soldiers of the Equestrian Guard lost their lives to a strange threat from the stars known as The Shadow Council, however tides turned as a pony who is later named "The Neon Guardian" joins the rank, achieving the impossible. However, their heroism was short lived when something caused them to disappear from the face of the land. Equestria has seen many lifetimes of peace since then.

A thousand years later, an unknown pegasus arrives on Equestrian soil in the strangest way. Who is this Pony? Why did they fall from the sky? What is with the strange armor? And how can they use magic?
