It was a normal day in Ponyville and Twilight were going to take care of applebloom because Applejack and Big macintosh were going to Appleloosa.
''Are you sure it'll be fine to take care of Applebloom Twi?''
''yeah I think so, i mean how bad can it be?'' Twilight said while looking on the red maned filly.
''ok goodbye Applebloom!''
AppleJack left the library and closed the door.
''Goodbye sis. I’m goanna miss ya!''
''ok what should we do?'' Applebloom asked
''we could read a book.''
''Yeah very funny'' Applebloom said rolling her eyes
''Hummm yes here is it!'' Twilight said and grabbed a book about the old history of Equestria.
''that book doesn't look fun at all... like all other books.''
''maybe... let me read it for you then you can decide if it still boring!''
Applebloom sat down ready to listen for the probably boring story...
Hmm it began very long ago in a far land to the north like of which you would not find in the world today. It began in the frozen north of Crystal Mountains. Before the evil lord conquered the crystal empire ruled another kind of ponies that ruled the frozen north. The Durin´s Main also known as dwarves, they are short but very strong. They build big city’s underground and huge mines! They were the dominating race at that time. But the earthponies, the unicorns and the pegasi did not like this. If the dwarven ponies wouldn't pull back there forces the three united races would deliver them a quick journey right to hell. This moment was when a new era would be forged in the fires of battle. An era that would change the history of Equestria and who ever wins will decide the fate of equestria. The dwarven army was huge, to huge for the earth ponies to deal with by them selves. They asked the Pegasi and the unicorns if they wanted to forge an alliance to crush the big threat in the north. They fought for years and years and more and more blood was spilled on the plains of unicorn range. You could not see the green grass or the flowers. All was red from brave ponies who had thrown away their life for nothing. It was big casualties on both sides. The dwarves plundered and burned everything in their path and were getting closer and closer to the royal city of Canterlot...But there was something that stopped the dwarves to proceed any further. They were brutally slaughtered by a groupe of Pegasi. Their leader was Rainbow Klaz (Rainbow Dash grand grand grand grand grand father)
A few generals arranged a meeting to discuss the situation.
''we should attack them now when they are weak!'' Rainbow Klaz suggested
''no they are too many for us! The causalities would be huge!'' One of Celestia's generals answered
''what do you mean whit they are too many? if we don´t attack now we will be crushed!''
''how do you know this? said the general.
''It's just a fact that's how it is, Dûrin will raze canterlot to the ground before he sees any resistance!''
hmmm you are right Klaz we cannot wait for our problems to go away, we need to deal whit it.
''yes! we shall attack them head on and secure our kingdom... once and for all!''
The mighty generals asked their royal princess Celestia what she thought about it.
''Prepare the soldiers lets us bring the fight to them.'' Celestia said without hesitation
And that is just what they did. Tree weeks later Celestias army were in front of a giant battle between dwarfs and changelings. The dwarf king was slain by a giant creature that was born in the darkest cave in the deepest deeps. Unfortunately the big door was destroyed by a group of changelings. The dwarfs was trapped inside and could not get out but there was ten dwarves that managed to get out before the gate was destroyed. Celestia had a gentle soul, she could not kill the few survivors from the mountain. but their sins would not go unpunished. They started to walk the entire way back to Canterlot. But on they way something terrible happened, the pegasi that had been flying all the time was tired and walked with the earth ponyies and at the night they didn't watch the dwarves and the dwarfs would flee if they got the chanse. the dwarves found their weapons and when the other were asleep they tan but they were detected and some of the ponies woke up and tried to get to their weapons but they were slain and one dwarf were killed and the rest of the dwarfs managed to escape. Then it was morning the dwarfs were gone and ten ponies were killed and some ponies were wounded but a little bit away from the camp they found Rainbow Klaz with a throwing axe in the chest.
''You have to stop them... before it's to late'' Klaz said slowly closing his eyes
''No no no you can´t leave us! Stay with us cried the general. they tried to heal him but it was to late he was cold like snow and lifeless. they closed his eyes. Rainbow Klaz was dead. the remainig soldiers bore Klaz home and buried him in Canterlots royal graveyard, after the dwarfs had been defeated and harmony had been restored in Equestria. The end
''Well that was one of a good book!'' Applebloom said excited
''Well thank you Applebloom! It's a pretty tragic story... but it's an exciting one though!''
''um... Twilight? can i go out and play with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle?
''why do you even ask? you go out and have fun now!''
Twilight had started to cleaning up in the library when there was a knock on the door...
''Hello twilight'!'' Pinkie Pie shouted
''Pinkie!? what are you doing here?''
''I'm here to ask you if you want to come to the park!''
''eee i don´t know i need to clean up in the library''
''aaah that is sooo boring, you can do that later, now come whit me!!!''
There was an akward moment of silence and then...
''...fine i will follow you.''
''YAY!''
