Chapters "Come on, Come on, YES!" I scream as I complete the level, the game saves and immediately after the kitchen timer that signals my play time is over goes off. I hit the pause button and click on the option that says main menu and immediateley retreat to my room, then walk over to the state supplied computer that every room has, I hit start and my screensaver of the mane six pops up, I'm about to head to my favorite website when I feel another presence in the room.
But I'm getting ahead of myself here, before I tell you my story, let me tell you about myself. I'm a thirteen year old orphan brony I live in a nice orphanage in Minnesota, that's right it's a nice orphanage. Yes that means it is nothing like the orphanage you see in the movie Annie. Okay back on track the game I was playing was Skylanders Giants and the character I was using was Fright Rider. The reason I am telling you this is because it will be important later. (yes, later, as in not right now, can we get back to the bio?)
My name will not be given cause I don't want to give it to you, my invisibility meter is off the charts and I have six personalities. That's right, I said six personalities, my first personality, the one that I use the most is a shy kid who barely ever speaks, when I read I become the easily irritated bookworm, I also have an athlete personality that is shut up in a vault somewhere in my mind, my fourth personality is a filthy liar, my fifth is a sarcastic son of a gun, and my last is a hyperactive freak who gets in trouble a lot. Anyways lets get back to the story.
As I was saying, I could feel another presence in my room. I looked around and saw a lady dressed in flowing white robe. I also noticed the spear she was holding at an uncomfortably close distance to my body. She must have noticed my nervous reaction to the spear and set it down, then she spoke.
"Mortal, I would like to send you on an adventure to Equestria."
I responded with some thing intelligent like "uuummmm, what?"
The lady patiently replied "I am the goddess Athena and I would like to send you to Equestria as your chosen form."
Now I know what you're thinking, a goddess asked you to go to Equestria, say yes, but I've been tricked a lot and I knew you need to read your contracts before you sign them, so I decided to as "what do I need to do."
The lady (sorry, Athena ) smiled "aaaahhh, I knew I selected a clever human,"
I sensed she was about to continue speaking and sure enough she immediately replied
"in response to your earlier question, to go to Equestria I will need you to collect a butterfly and a pencil, then you will need to listen to the instructions I give you, and then I will tell you how to go to Equestria."
I sighed "their's always a catch." But I still went to the matron/governess/overlord to ask for permission to use the bug catching supplies, she just raised her eyes and nodded.
It was about three hours later when I finally returned to my room with a butterfly, Athena just said
"You forgot the pencil."
Two minutes later I returned with a pencil, Athena got to her feet, (she was sitting, I forgot to mention that, this isn't important I'm actually just using this space to take up more words so I can pass regulations, back to the story.) Athena sighed and started to speak
(name is omitted , I need valiant soldiers like you, to defeat my grandfather, the Titan Kronos."
"WHAT!" I'm pretty sure Athena soundproofed my room because the volume of my shout should have sent the entire orphanage coming up, Arhena sighed and continued
" my grandfather, the Titan Kronos, has been traveling the world collecting evil humans and turned them into an army of creatures from the video game's Skylanders and Skylanders Giants, I need you to become a Skylander and go to Equestria to defeat his army's, and be warned, Kronos has warped the minds of some of the native creatures of Equestria and the lands surrounding it."
My first thought? Wow, Heavy, second thought, wait a minute. I decided to ask her a question that was nagging me,
"Why is Kronos sending his forces into Equestria?"
Athena sighed " I do not know his reasons, but I do need warriors, help fight Kronos, I will search for more warriors to aid you in your quest, I will also need you to find friends in Equestria, for I cannot provide all your allies, you will need to write the name of your chosen Skylander on a piece of paper using the pencil that I have now enchanted, then you will be transported to as Equestria as your chosen Skylander."
Alright so I know what you're thinking, you've got the opportunity to go to Equestria and defeat hordes of monsters, but their is a question I need to ask. " what's the butterfly for?"
Athena smiled "it's a secret." She said with a surprising amount of little girl excitement.
Athena bowed her head and said (hey that rhymes) "I will leave you to think about what you have heard, remember, if you would like to go to Equestria, write the name of your chosen Skylander on a piece of paper and you will be sent to Equestria as your chosen Skylander." And with that she left.
Two hours later and I'm still staring at a piece of paper wondering if I should do it, I look at the butterfly Athena made me capture and sigh.
"Lets do this thing."
I write down Fright Rider, then I black out.
I wake up and see four things the first thing I see is a fairy looking at me disapprovingly, the second thing I see is a squad of mace wielding trolls glaring at me, the third thing I see is skeleton ostrich expectantly looking at me, the fourth thing I see is a mirror the fairy is conveniently holding in front of me. HOLY CRAP!! I have blue skin, pointy ears, and red and black spartan armor. My first thought "so this is Equestria.
I groaned, sat up, and eyed the trolls, the trolls were green with faces on their upper bodies but other then that they were normal. They had strange clothing that covered everything but their faces, and their heads, they also looked like they had been waiting for a while and were thirsty for blood. Suddenly one impatient troll charged forwards with a war cry, I instantly flicked my spear, severing his arm. The troll howled but the wound was already closing. I glanced at the arm and saw it explode into multicolored bubbles that rushed into my body. The bubbles didn't really hurt, they just vanished when they came into contact with me. The troll immediately came in for a second strike, mace held high, but this time, I was ready. I stabbed and my spear entered the troll's face. The troll stopped and collapsed before exploding into more multicolored bubbles.The other trolls were evidently enraged, one troll, probably the alpha troll, or is that troll commander? Whatever, back to the story. The troll commander, (yes I settled on troll commander) barked an order and the trolls took a formation. I suddenly heard an annoying high pitched voice yell,
"MASTER MASTER"
I grit my teeth "Persephone, I'm kind of busy with trolls."
"I know, but you may need your steed to assist you in battling these villains extremely."
I grimace and walk to the bone chicken (sorry ostrich) and ask Persephone
Persephone nods and says "Extremely!"
Cue facepalm, I say facepalm, because I have palms, ha ha people who think I should have said
"OOOOOOOWWWWWWWCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHH."
A troll took a shot at me while I was speaking to the audience! Too late I notice the trolls surround me. I swing my spear in an arc, destroying the nearest trolls and a few not so near trolls. The trolls retreated but immediately pressed forward trying to kill me once again, a troll flew at me and I neatly defaced him (defaced, as in, the removal of an opponents face.) all of a sudden my bone chicken, I mean bone ostrich bucks, and sends a troll flying back into its comrades. I whistle and turn just in time to see a troll jump at me, I stab it and like all the other trolls I've killed it explodes into multicolored bubbles. I turn around and fifty trolls jump at me, my thought? "this is going to be fun.
I swing my spear and destroy the first wave of trolls, making more pretty bubbles. Next I get dog piled.
I'm trying to swing my spear but the trolls are too many. I kill one but two more take its place.
"at least I'm going down fighting.
I take my last shot and kill two trolls, their bubbles rush into me and. . .
BBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM
A shock wave rips out of me, obliterating the trolls around me. Their are now seven trolls left, including the troll commander. The troll commander starts trying to negotiate.
"Grunt grunt snort snort blah blah blah." (Okay all he did was grunt and snort, their was no blah blahing.)
"MASTER MASTER!"
I sigh, "yeah Persephone?"
Persephone smiles "you have successfully leveled up, and I can now upgrade your weapon."
My reaction? "DO IT." Persephone smiles and lights hit my spear. The blade elongates and now I'm holding a glaive. I quickly finish the trolls off and start having the Bone ostrich (I said ostrich this time, YES!) walk away. Then I hear a voice.
" He was right."
I turn around and see a pegasus stallion. I assess him quickly. Black coat, black mane, red eyes that look like they could blow a hole in mt Everest with one glare, and a cutie mark of a lance. He begins to speak again.
"My master was right, you are powerful, he will be most pleased if bring him your head."
What he said didn't scare me. It's how he said it that scared me. Their was no trace of emotion in his voice, just cold calculation. My genius deduced that he was here to kill me. He reaches downward and a lance jumps out of the earth and into his hooves. Hold on a second readers, he's about to speak again.
"I am Black Lance, and I am here to kill you." Now he charges, lance faced forward, this could be the fight of my life.
It wasn't.
He charged and ran right into my outstretched glaive impaling him blood started leaking from the wound and he exploded into multicolored bubbles. From behind me I hear a voice.
"Thank you sir."

New chapter up, sorry about the wait, I have problems with writers block sometimes anyway next chapter, new character introduced kid or adult? Haven't decided yet, later readers.

Alright we have a new chapter, huzzah! For your entertainment purpose, I have listed my fantasy of what happened when I heard the voice, and then I will tell you the reality. Enjoy!
Fantasy: I turned slowly and majestically to see the voice, striking a heroic pose when I saw the source of the voice.
Reality: I screamed and jumped off of my bone ostrich, swinging my glaive like a maniac, and saw ... a kid? (wait, we're in Equestria wouldn't that be foal? Sorry back to the story.) anyways the kid, (I mean foal.) was a unicorn, with a red coat and a black mane, and a cutie mark of a flame. On his/her (yes if you would kindly notice, I haven't verified if its a male or female yet, kindly shut up, your thinking distracts me.) Ahem, on his/her back was a ... cactus?
The cactus turned around and sprouted arms and legs, then it spoke. "Stand and deliver." my jaw dropped. (and don't pretend you did anything better when vegetation robbed you for the first time.)
"Really Cacnea?" the foal said "I though you said we were supposed to meet him not rob him."
" I know Flame Spitter, but the look on his face? PRICELESS!" Cacnea replied. Cacnea jumped off Flame Spitter's back and said " so you're the one Athena sent huh? well pleased to meet you my name is Cacnea and this is Flame Spitter. Demeter told us to meet Athena's champion here, we heard fighting and came to see if it was you."
'BUZZZZZ!"
We all looked up and saw a set of birds flying above us, the birds were strange, almost like vultures. "**** Mandibuzz" Cacnea muttered, Flame Spitter swore.
Observing their behavior I pulled out my Glaive "MASTER, MASTER,!" I flinched
"Persephone?! Where were you for the beginning of this chapter?!"
"Observing this forest, there's a coffee shop about a mile away, Here! Donuts!" a Mandibuzz swooped down and grabbed the doughnut out of my hand. I jumped on my bone ostrich and rode up a tree, then I leaped into the flock slashing them down until I got my doughnut back. I landed and saw Flame Spitter and Cacnea looking at me with gaping mouths. I looked behind me and saw a swarm of bubbles rushing at me, when they hit, a shockwave flew out of my body and sent Cacnea and Flame Spitter flying backward, I looked up and the flock of Mandibuzz was gone.
"Wow" Flame Spitter said "you must really like donuts."
"MASTER MASTER, you have successfully gained enough experience to gain the move burrow bomber, it will allow"
"Persephone, I know what burrow bomber does just tell me how to use it."
"oh, well you just tell Fright to use burrow bomber and you will use the move."
"That simple, huh?"
"EXTREMELY!"
"Persephone will you plea-"
Flame Spitter suddenly interrupted "excuse me, but what is a burrow bomber."
I glared at him, I do NOT like being interrupted, I finally said " burrow bomber is a move where i travel underground attacking my foes by waving my glaive above ground."
Cacnea spoke up " all right listen up, Demeter gave me a list of people the Gods and Goddesses have chosen, the nest one we should look for was chosen by Hephaestus god of the forge, my chart says that he should be in Manehattan about a days walk from here."
I grinned " lets get going, I would rather not run into a bunch of trolls again."
Cacnea and Flame Spitter looked confused " trolls?" they said simultaneously.
I shrugged " long story. which way to the Hephaestus dude?"
Cacnea instantly replied "west,now lets set out!"
"Hold it!" Persephone yelled " I extremely want to know who you are and who sent you!"
Cacnea grinned " well my fine fairy friend, I am Cacnea and I was sent by Demeter for the same purpose as, um, what was your name again?" he looked at me expectantly
at this point i could tell him my name was (name is omitted) ooorrrr
Cacnea looked at me and continued " well where was I, lets see, my name, sent by Demeter, same purpose as, ah! oh yes I was sent here for the same purpose as Fright Rider, this here is Flame Spitter, he was sent by Hestia, Goddess of the hearth, his purpose is the same as ours his list can only be read when he sees fire though."
I looked at him with confusion. " list? what list?"
Now Cacnea looked confused " your list, each God or Goddess presents their champion with a list for their journey."
" are you sure" I said " because I did not ge-"
a thought entered my mind I looked over at Persephone, Cacnea and Flame Spitter followed my gaze, Persephone had been trying to inch out of the clearing, but froze when we looked at her.
"Persephone," I started " is their something you would like to tell us?"
Persephone turned pink "Athena might have put a list in my memory, but if she did, which their is no proof of, i would most certainly tell you what we need to be doing."
I groaned " Persephone, I had a GUIDEBOOK, I COULD HAVE SAVED SO MUCH TIME!!!!!"
Persephone stopped for a few moments then she said something resulting in a deep and never ending desire to strangle her shoot her and bury her in a volcano.
"Look over there!".

Chapter Four: Travelling and Glimpses
Manehattan
A foal bolted out of an alleyway, from that alleyway came a sound almost human ( I mean pony, sheesh I really need to adapt to the language here.) the sound was steam and creaking but if you listened you could hear a voice whisperingforge .
A Forest
I walked along with Cacnea and Flame Spitter, as it turns out, they don't like each other, so I had to put up with their nonstop bickering.
"Cacnea, seriously you shouldn't act like you're going to rob every thing we meet."
"Flame Spitter it intimidates them so that we can make a quick getaway."
"Why would we need a quick getaway?!"
" Just in case we're being chased."
"The only thing that knows we're here is Kronos and his army so far consists of pathetic pokemon, stupid ponys, and some dumb trolls. WHAT IS GOING TO STOP US!!!!!!"
It kept going like that for a while, until I jumped off my bone ostrich, turned to face them, and yelled.
"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW *bleep*ING ANNOYING YOUR *bleep bleep bleep bleep* BICKERING IS TO THE REST OF US, YOU GUYS HAVE PROBABLY ALERTED EVERY *bleep*ING MINION OF KRONOS IN THE FOREST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I was promptly hit by a fire spell and pin missile. I sat up and groaned, "really guys?
Cacnea looked nervous " um, Fright Rider? That wasn't us."
I looked around we were surrounded by unicorns, and pokemon. you have GOT to be kidding me.
Manehattan
It had been several weeks and most residents of Manehattan knew to avoid the alleyway , the alleyway scared the populace with strange sounds and lights, but if you listened close, you could hear the whispering, an endless forge .
A Forest
I was fighting for my life, I slashed a geodude in two turned around and decapitated a unicorn, none of them bled, they simply dissolved into bubbles which I then absorbed. Cacnea blasted a trio of milotics with a solar beam, Flame Spitter incinerated a line of unicorns. I was slightly surprised to discover that we were winning.
And then reinforcements arrived, trolls and rocket imps burst out of the trees followed by jet black pegasi and unicorns, a battalion of pokemon, and some strange mechanical creatures. I slashed down all that were near me. Cacnea used pin missile on a group of unicorns, and Flame Spitter encased himself in a shell of flame to block the relentless attacks on his person.
We were now back to back, sometime during the fight Persephone had upgraded my glaive into a halberd which I was using to destroy our opponents. But we were losing, our enemy's saw it too, they knew they were wearing us down slowly but surely, and then something happened.
When I backed into Cacnea (which was painful an account of his spines.) his spines and my halberd began to glow. The glow collected and poured into the ground .
Axe blades burst out of the ground slashing our enemy's into nothing. The blades destroyed any foes that tried to escape. The monsters were either turned into bubbles which I absorbed or simply vanished.
Manehattan
The creature looked in the flames. As always they gave the same message, the message it had to follow, Wait for them Forge.
The Same Forest
I looked at Cacnea, "what was that?!"
Cacnea looked at me as if I was an ideit " how am I supposed to know? Just because i was the first one called to fight Kronos does not mean I know everything that we can do."
I groaned, "great, we have incredibly awesome powers, and no idea how to, wait a second, PERSEPHONE!"
Persephone poked her head out from behind a nearby tree. "Yes master?"
"what did we just do?"
Persephone looked nervous. "well, I wasn't supposed to tell you this yet, but in times of peril, you can combine your individual magical powers to create massively powerful spells. You see, you need to collect the other four chosen, and use that power to destroy Kronos."
Flame Spitter had a disturbingly happy smile on his face "so if we have a moment where we might, you know, DIE, we can just use this power and obliterate them, right?"
Persephone shrugged "it is not that simple, you see, it takes about a day for the energy needed to use that spell to recharge, so since Cacnea and Fright Rider (I bet you forgot my name huh.) just used it, you need to wait a day for the energy to recharge enough for you to use it."
I grimaced ( grimaced is an excellent word if I do say so myself) " great we have incredibly awesome powers, but we have to wait a day before we can use it."
Persephone smiled " actually, you might not have to, I flew up and looked around, Manehattan is just about a couple of miles away, we should be able to get to it by the time night comes."
I grinned, finally something was going my way, "what are we waiting for,
Manehattan
It knew they were coming, the flames had changed, this was the first time it had been on the street, so all the species around him.
"not surprising. " it thought "I am a giant locomotive robot, but whatever, the flames told me that i need to go to the west gate into town to wait for them, and finally I can start my fight against Kronos.
Chapter Five: Longer Then Expected
" OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW, PERSEPHONE, YOU COULD HAVE TOLD US ABOUT HALF THE DISTANCE BEING THORNS!" I YE- sorry, yelled.
"Sorry master," the incredibly annoying and stupid not to mention idiotic fairy called back "I just checked the sky, I didn't think to check the ground for any obstacles that might obstruct your way."
"Yeah, I kind of realized that for the first few hundred feet."
Flame Spitter was an idiot and chose to go in last, he would have been able to simply incinerate the thorns, if a certain someone (hack cough wheeze Cacnea hack hack cough.) had not strengthened them to the point where they were fire proof. am not going
(A place called Manehattan I am not going to write a line underneath it because that was annoying last chapter.)
Forge looked in the fire, go to the thorns the flames said, they need you.
Forge grimaced "these guys are literally stupid enough to get caught in the thorns? Well if they need me I should probably go help them.
(A thirty mile long thorn patch see above comment on lines.)
I groaned, we were in a clearing and surrounded by thorns. " Persephone, I thought you said we were a mile away, we have been hiking for at least six miles now."
Persephone shrugged, " distance is looks different from the air, besides it's your fault for not having wings."
Flame Spitter replied "Persephone, we don't choose how we're born, I don't know if fairies can choose to be an Elephant or something but we can not ."
Persephone huffed and then refused to speak to anyone for several hours.
(Somewhere else if you do not know my policy on lines jump off a bridge)
Kronos looked through the viewing screen provided by one of his minions. He smiled to himself. "well well well" he said "it seems that its time to pay them a visit."
(the thirty mile long thorn patch shut up about the lines)
I was thoroughly annoyed now, we had been hiking for hours, and Flame Spitter calculated that we had gone about 10 miles. (I apologize for not using the metric system, my condolences to folks who are not American) Cacnea had fallen asleep about two miles ago, and I was being forced to carry him. To top it all off, I heard a strange sound.
"BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ." I looked back to see if Cacnea had started snoring, but he was awake. " did you he- WAIT YOU'RE AWAKE CACNEA" I had started to say "did you hear that" when I suddenly realized I had been carrying an fully alert ball of spikes for about two miles. I was about to say something else but Flame Spitter cut in. (thank the heavens, I was about to drop some seriously bad ju ju muh gumbo"
"silence," he said "something very big is coming." a large robotic thing sporting a huge buzz saw burst out of the thorns.
We of course, being the wise gentlemen we are, chose the safest and most reasonable option.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" we screamed while we ran.
In five minutes we were hopelessly tangled in a mess of thorns.
The large robot lumbered toward us and raised his buzz saw.
"HEY HEY, DUDE DUDE!" I shouted
I heard Cacnea mutter "famous last words."
He swung the buzz saw..
I fell on my butt.
He quickly cut down Cacnea and Flame Spitter who also fell on their butts.
He motioned for us to follow him.
(A clearing twenty miles away I will no longer discuss lines with you simpletons)
After a long and much needed explanation around a fire Flame Spitter made, we started to rest.
"WELL WELL WELL" a voice boomed " WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE." we looked around for the speaker and a unicorn in a business suit walked towards us.
He was about as tall as Princess Celestia is depicted. He had a dark grey coat, a light grey mane, and a cutie mark of a clock. he strutted towards us. I raised my halberd. his horn flashed.
And everything went slow.
The world was moving at a snails pace , i looked down and saw my skin start to wrinkle. As I watched in horrified fascination. the skin fell of my hand and the bone began to crumble and fall away. and then suddenly everything was dust.
(somewhere else)
"HEY," Eris yelled " I STILL HAD TO PUT ON THREE MORE CHARACTERS."
Discord smirked " but you forget, I want to win . now id be willing to play again if you want."
"deal." Eris said.
Discord smiled and the table between them changed into board game that looked suspiciously like Equestria.
