The Fire Of Equestria

-(Rainbow Dash)-

"All right, yer sure ya don wanna spend the night Sugar cube?" Applejack, an orange, earth pony mare with a blond mane and tail, green eyes, and an apple cutie mark asked Rainbow Dash. A Cyan Pegasus mare with Magenta eyes and a mane and tail colored like a rainbow; her cutie mark was a cloud with a rainbow lighting bolt.

They were standing in the doorway to Applejack's house. Applejack and her had been going out for three years now; it was nighttime and the stars were out. Rainbow Dash leaned in and kissed her marefriend on the lips soft and lightly; it only lasted a few seconds.

"No AJ. I gotta get home, but I’ll come help out on the farm tomorrow, okay?" She nodded as Rainbow Dash took off into the night air and towards her cloud castle.

She landed and opened her front door with a key that she always hid under her mat. The inside led right into the living room, which happened to be a mess; pizza boxes and garbage was everywhere. But like usual, she ignored the mess, closed her front door, and lazily began to walk to her room. But before she could jump in bed and curl up with a good Daring Do book, a knock was heard at her door.

"Who in the hay would knock at this time o night?" She mumbled to herself and walked down to open the door and see somepony that made her eyes widen.

"Hey Eyesore, long time no see." A deep, monotone voice came from the Pine-green Pegasus stallion the size of Rainbow Dash with a white mane and tail in a shaggy style, and red eyes that seemed to glow like the embers of a dying fire.

"Flame!" Rainbow Dash quickly hugged him and rested her head on his shoulder as he hugged back. Flame was Rainbow Dash's adopted brother. Although he only lived with her for a year when they were nine before he left to be part of some secret order, she loved him and he loved her all the same, and had known each other since they were three; he visited her at least once a year.

"Eyesore… hugging… too tight!" Flaming Feather gasped but chuckled as Rainbow Dash let go of him blushing profusely, and brought him inside where she sat on her couch beside him. She leaned into Flaming Feather and he wrapped his hoof around her, cuddling her.

"Mind if I stay awhile? Like three months?"

"Yeah! Sure, go ahead! I love spending time with you! Tomorrow we can introduce you to my other friends, okay?" Rainbow Dash smiled, resting her head on Flaming Feathers shoulder.

"Great can I have your guest room?" He tried to get up but Rainbow Dash wouldn't let him go.

"Yeah, but you'll be snuggled to death tonight!" She laughed remembering all the times that she said that in their foal hood.
Rainbow Dash forced Flaming Feather onto his back, laughing and snuggling into him. Sighing and yawning, they fell asleep rather fast due to their combined high body heat.

The next morning, Rainbow Dash woke up first and felt his hooves around her, she sighed as she tried to pry his hooves off her; she did and rolled off of him and suddenly felt very wet all over. She was sweating, hard. Rainbow Dash was about to wonder why, but she could feel Flaming Feathers’ unnatural body heat and saw he was squirming and muttering in his sleep. Rainbow Dash recognized that he was having a nightmare, he had these kind of things regularly after he joined the organization, so she patted his shoulder and as she stopped he bolted up, heavily breathing and his eyes wide with fear.

"What the hell Flame? Why were you so boiling hot? I'm sweating all over for Celestia's sake!" Flaming Feather had a sheepish look on his face but he rolled off the couch and hugged Rainbow Dash. She returned the hug but broke away after a minute and trotted off to her shower.
"I'm taking a shower could you make breakfast?" he nodded and trotted into the kitchen.
After an hour or two Rainbow Dash came out of her shower and smelt eggs.
"You made eggs.... DID YOU USE OUR DAD'S RECIPE?" Flaming Feathers dad was a high class chief before he disappeared. He mostly cooked Breakfast so he past a few of his recipe’s onto his son even though his talent was flying.
"You know it" He chuckled as Rainbow Dash ran downstairs and put the two eggs Flaming Feather had made for her as he emptied the pan of the tomato sauce and herbs he cocked them in the flavor soaked into the eggs mostly the yokes. She sat at the table and began to eat hungrily. Flaming Feather laughed under his breath as he sat across from her and ate more slowly. But after half an hour they were both finished and Rainbow Dash patted her belly.
"Well let’s go get you to meet my friends" Flaming Feather suddenly stood up and ran out the door.
"Race ya into town Eyesore!" He laughed as he flung open the door and flew out at top speed. He could rival her in speed if he wanted so she took off after him laughing as she caught up with him.
"Slow poke!" She sped ahead of him sticking her tongue out. He grinned as he speed up up and went beside her.
"Have to brake out the fancy stuff to beat me" He grinned and just seemed to enjoy the feeling of flying. Rainbow Dash complied by performing a loop de loops and speeding past him at a forty-five degree angel downwards. Flaming feather merely followed but she landed at the entrance first but as soon as he landed Pinkie Pie a Pink earth pony with a dark pink mane and tail styled like cotton Candy and blue eyes appeared out of nowhere from behind Rainbow Dash in an explosion of Confetti
"NEW PONY!" She cried in an overly happy tone and had a grin on her face that made Flaming Feather smile along. She bounced up to him and shook his hoof
"Hiya! I'm Pinkie Pie, the bestest party mare around! What’s your name?" Flaming Feather couldn’t believe the amount of happiness she was putting off.
"Flaming Feather just call me Flame."
"He's my brother" Rainbow Dash chimed in. Pinkie gasped a large gasp and broght Flaming Feather and Rainbow Dash into a hug.
"You never told me you had a brother Dashie! Oh hold on!" She disappeared in a puff of smoke and came back with the party wagon. She hit the red button and began to sing and Dance

By the end of the small song and Pinkie's summoning of instruments to play out of nowhere Flaming Feather was on his back laughing his head off. A Deep laugh.
"That was great! I wish I was welcomed into a new place like this more!" He got up still chucking a little bit
"Nope only in ponyville you Crazy Colt. I'll see you at your party! Later today at Sugar cube corner!" She bounced away happily humming a random tune.
"Well I really liked her! Who's next Eyesore?" Flaming Feather asked as Rainbow Dash shock her head and began to trot away and he followed
"My friend Twilight" They arrived at the door in minutes and Rainbow threw it open causing Spike to jump and drop the books he was holding.
"Oh sorry Spike!" Rainbow Dash chuckled and she watched as he placed them and turned to them Spike noticed Flaming Feather and walked over and hoof bumped him
"Hey." They both said in unison.
"You two know each other?" Dash asked befuddled.
"Ya I've seen him around Canterlot when I go up there" Spike slid back to his chores and began to get back to them.
Twilight Sparkle teleported in looking a little bit crazy muttering to herself
"What events am I supposed to stop?" She kept muttering until Rainbow Dash taped her on the shoulder.
"Uhh,Twi? There’s some pony I'd like you to meet." Twilight turned around to see Flaming Feather looking around at all the books
"Wow lotta books. Mind If I call you Bookworm?" He offered his hoof and Twilight Sparkle shock it.
"Sure I'm Twilight Sparkle" Flaming Feathers eyebrow raised
"Tia's prized student yet you live in the library? In Ponyville?" She chuckled
"Yep. You ever need a book come to me!" He nodded and he and Rainbow Dash walked out.

After awhile of walking a Unicorn Mare with an very light aquamarine coat with pale, light grayish cyan with white highlights tail and golden eyes with a Lyre cutie mark walked up to them.
"Hey Rainbow Dash who's the new stallion?" She asked in a friendly tone.
"Oh hey Lyra, this is Flaming Feather, my brother. Adopted, but he’s still my brother." Lyra smiled and shock Flaming Feathers hoof.
"Well Hi, I'm Lyra." He nodded,
"Just call me Flame, Lyra" Lyra nodded. Rainbow Dash noticed they both had a slight blush.
"So Lyra, how's Bonbon?" Lyra shook her head and turned to face her
"My wife's doing great! I should get home now actually" She teleported away, winking at Flaming Feather. Rainbow Dash frowned at him.
"Watch who your looking at." He held his hooves up in a sign of he didn't want to argue.

They eventually walked pasted the Carousel Boutique. Several mares walked out of it with Rarity. Rarity was a white Unicorn with a Royal purple mane and tail, moderate azure eyes, light cornflower bluish gray eye shadow, and three diamonds for her Cutie Mark waved them out.

"Come back soon!" Rarity was about to head in when she saw Rainbow Dash and Flaming Feather.
"Rainbow darling how are you? And who pray tell is this stallion!" Rarity waved them over and they both walked in.

-(Rarity)-

"And you are?" She asked as she looked him up and down she noticed he was at his physical peek and there were white lines, scars of some kind on his belly but She wasn't going to pry.
"Flaming Feather" He shook her hoof.
"Well you must be new around here. You ever need anything you come to Rarity, understand?" He nodded and they both left Rainbow Dash saying something about how busy they actually were.

-(Fluttershy)-

As they arived at Fluttershy's home, A timid yellow Pegasus pony with a long pink mane and tail, cyan eyes, and three pink butterflies for her cutie mark, Flaming was happy to see her. She was another foal hood friend. She slowly opened her door, but flung it open when she saw it was him and she hugged him tight with her heart racing.

"H-hi Flame. How are y-you?" She was trying not to let her crush get the better of her; she had had a crush on Flaming since they were teenagers.

"I'm doing great! …You can let go now Flutters" She let go looking embarrassed.

"Oh, sorry" She squeaked out.

"Hey its okay" He grind rustling her mane.

"But Dash and I have one more pony to see, correct?" Flaming Feather asked Rainbow Dash, whom from the looks of it was trying not to spill Fluttershy’s secret.

"Yeah! We do, let’s go," before Fluttershy could comprehend what was happening, they were gone.

"Goodbye." She whispered then headed inside.

-(Applejack)-

Applejack a Orange earthpony with a blonde mane and tail, red ribbons in it, an old Stetson, green eyes, and apples for a cute mark was bucking the many Apple Trees of sweet apple acres. Rainbow Dash saw her marefriend swooped down and tackled her into a hug.

"Well howdy Rainbow Dash." She laughed as they rolled around in the dirt. Flaming Feather hovered above them, smiling at the show of affection. Applejack noticed him and got up.

"Well Howdy Pardner!" She offered her hoof, he shook it vigorously and Rainbow Dash tapped her on the shoulder.

"This is my Brother. Flaming Feather." Applejack brought him into a hug
"Nice ta meet ya! Rainbow Dash has told me a lot about y'all." Flaming Feather broke the hug and looked at Rainbow Dash, she mouthed, "Not everything" After, they talked for a while and they walked off. Rainbow Dash had her hoof around each of their shoulders; off to the Party Pinkie Pie had planned.
