-[A few day's after Applejack made the promise to find out what's wrong with Flaming Feather. Days until Apocalypse: 298]-

It had been two days post Applejack and Flaming Feather’s meeting involving his scars. She was still strongly worried for him. Since the incident he hadn’t been talking to her normal, but instead much like her brother Big Macintosh. All his words mostly consisted of simple “Yes” and “No” and his eyes seemed to carry a pain that it didn’t seem to when he first came into town. She approached him slowly as he oversaw the sunset at the top of the tallest hill. He sat erect for a moment as he noticed Applejack, then he rested his muscular frame against the tree, heaving a great sigh as he did so, and placed his hooves criss-cross on his belly. His breath slowed and he became more relaxed. Applejack took a seat beside him and he gave her the slightest nod of acknowledgement but kept his eyes on the warm glow of the Equestrian sunset. After a few minutes he turned to her and spoke suddenly, startling her as she hadn’t noticed him turning to talk..
"Do you take seeing the sunset for granted?" Flaming Feather asked suddenly. Applejack looked to the sunset she had become desensitized to its beauty from seeing it everyday and it had become just another part of the farm day.

"Yes ah have Sugercube. Why do ya ask?" She was curious as to why he asked.

"Its very complicated. I've really seen the sunset, so when I do, its one of the most wonderful I see." He had a look of pain in his eyes mixed with rage. Not the simple rage you feel when your mad at somepony, this rage was pure and it shock Applejack to her very core.
"Why's that?" She tried to remain strong, but the rage was bilding in Flaming Feathers eyes.

"No reason! I-UHGH!" He cluched his head and he began to cry. Not a sobbing cry, but a cry as if he was in pain. The tears were not tears, they were blood, and it was flowing out of his eyes and now his mouth. The crimson liquid was flowing onto the grass and down the hill. Now all of his cuts had reopened and blood was flowing out of them too. AppleJack was freaking out backing away, as Flaming Feather fainted and went still. But that was not the end. The blood came rushing back, and went back into his body in which the way they came. Flaming Feather got up, gasping. His front hooves flailing around, his eyes now begging for whatever was happening to stop. He stoped failing and looked at Applejack. A small smile of pain still on his face as he bent over vomiting the dirt that had came with his blood out of his mouth back into a mound of dirt.

Applejack ran up to him and hugged him, crying.

"What the Tartarus WAS that! Ah-ah was so worried! Y'all need help right now. C'mon lets get to Twilight." She began to drag Flaming Feather across the dirt but he pushed her away,

"Jacks, I'm fine. Thats Natural for me y-" He began, but she cut him off.

"NATURAL?! Flame, that was anythin BUT natual." A stray laso was laying on the ground, so she picked it up with her mouth and flung it around Flaming Feather. It tightened around his stomach, and made him fall the the ground. He let out an grunt as he hit the ground.

"Now I ain't letten ya out till y'all tell me why the hay ya had that bleeding fit!" Flaming Feather sighed, and burned the rope away wih green fire that came from his front hooves. He sprung up and pressed Applejack agenst a tree. He winked before letting go.

"Right then, Jacks. My story begins long ago, when I still lived in Cloudsdale on the day of Rainbow Dash's first Sonic Rainboom."

-[ Flaming Feather Age 8, Rainbow Dash Age 8. Day's untill Apocalypse: 7062]-

Flaming Feather ran out of his house crying. His flank was blank, his eyes bronze and his mane a firey red with gold specks in it. He ran to Rainbow Dash's house, smiling and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?" Aurora. Rainbow Dash's mother asked her voice sounded like the most beatuiful thing you'd ever hear. Her long mane and tail the colors of the rainbow and her white coat shined, her midnight blue eyes showed a look of concern for him.

"Is R-Rainbow Dash here?" He asked shakily, trying to hold back tears. Aurora gasped and drew him into a motherly hug and kissed his forehead.

"Yes. Yes she is. Let me go get her. Come in." Flaming Feather ran into the house and sat on the couch and waited.

"Who's here?" Thunder Dash. Rainbow Dash's dad a Dark blue Pegasus stallion with a gray mane and tail stilled like a lighting bolt with yellow highlights. He saw Flaming Feather and a smile broke out on his face as he walked over and ruffled his mane.

"How's my little guy!" He viewed Flaming Feather as the son he never really had, but he still cared a great deal about Rainbow Dash.

"I'm okay." It was clear he was lying, but Thunder didn't push when Rainbow Dash ran into the room and tackled Flaming Feather into a hug. Thunder Dash walked out smiling.

"Whats up Flame?" And Flame told a story that shattered both of their innocence of the world forever.

"What the same hell why did-"

"I trust you too much already! I'll get to the actual story."

Flaming Feather watched from a distance as Rainbow Dash stood up for Fluttershy. He barely heard:

"What'da have in mind?" And then they all flew off to race. He shruged and followed them. After everypony was lined up and ready Fluttershy waved the flag they sped off. A cheer for Rainbow Dash was about to escape his mouth, when he saw Fluttershy fall. He dove after her, flying at his top speed towards her. She only seemed to be focused on her fear. They fell but Fluttershy landed on Butterflies and Flaming Feather pulled up before she noticed him right into the path of the green part of the sonic rainboom. The boom was heard and the green part hit him and he screamed in pain as all Spectra that wasnt green was ripped from his body. He tried to get out of the boom and it rocketed him towards Canterlot. He got out and begain to vioently vomit blood, and fell directly into the Canterlot Gardens. he was unawear of how fast he had traveled, and he had landed right infront of Princess Celestia, a white Alicorn taller then anypony he had ever seen. Her patel main flowing in the breeze was the last thing he saw before he fainted. Barly clingling to life.

Beep.....Beep......Beep.

Flaming Feather opened his eyes. He was very confused, and sat up. He was in a hosptial room and he was hooked up to a heart monitor . He was in a cyan hospital gown, and his eyes stung. He kept trying to rub the pain out of his his eyes. He looked over to his bediside table to see two cards. He picked a black one and opened it. As soon as he did, he smiled as he reconized the Clawwritting.

Hey there Flame. You've gone through worse stuff then the Rainboom shock wave. Get well soon Tough Guy.

He set the card down, and grabed the pink one with a picture of a bunny on it.

~Fluttershy

There was a card from his dad. His mom was dead, she had died the day before the Rainboom race, There was a card from his Uncle who was working in the guard, but no card from the one he cared about most. Rainbow Dash. He slumped back into his bed, saddened, but when he rolled over to look at the door, he saw Rainbow Dash sleeping in a chair with her mom also sleeping beside her. Her eyes oped to see Flaming Feather. She ran to the bed and hugged him. He hugged back a tear roling down his face. Rainbow Dash began to cry into him.

"Hey, what's wrong Dash?" Flaming Feather asked now very worried for at the time was the one pony in the world he could tell anything.

"I-I'm so sorry!" She sobbed into his sholder. Her hooves held him close, the many scars on his body rubbed on her stomach and chest. This caused Flaming Feather to shudder, so he pushed her away a little as he didn't like the felling of the scars touching fur.

"What are you sorry about? I'm fine.....Arn't I?" He was very weary now. Rainbow Dash stopped crying and pointed to his hair.

"Your mane and tail are white."
Flaming Feather grabbed his mane and pulled it down infront of his eyes. White. He jumped back in shock, tumbled off the bed, landing on his head.

"Ow! Anything else?" He groaned in semi rage his voice shaking.

"Your eyes are red and you'll suffer from bleeding fits once a week. The Doctors told me not to tell you, but nopony's here so I have to tell you." Flaming Feather rushed to a mirror and looked at his eyes. Red. He turned to Rainbow Dash.

"Are we still friends?" She asked shaking. He laughed a little, walked to her and hugged her, kissing her check. It caused both of them to blush.

"Of course! Nothing will make me stop lov-being your friend. BUT, your nick name shall now and forever be Eyesoar, as a way to remind both you and I how awesome you can be." He smiled. Rainbow Dash giggled, placing a hoof over her mouth. Suddenly his Father walked into the room. Spicy Herbs, a Pine green Pegasus stallion with Bronze eyes and brown mane and tail styled like Letis Leef's.

"Hey Flame" He smiled and Rainbow Dash ran out of the room, followed by her mother who had just woken up.

"Hi dad." Flaming Feather was still blushing from the kiss on the check he had given but it died down as his dad walked to him.

-[Day's untill Apocalypse: 298]-

"Annnnnd Thats were I cut off. There's story there I don't want to tell.....At the moment" He grinned at Applejack, who had taken off her hat and was holding it over her mouth. A sign of saddness.

"Ah'm-Ah'm real sorry, Flame. About all that, but the story ya don anna tell meh. Why is that?" She put her hat back on before giving him a small hug.

"Well I just want Eyesoar to be around when I tell it." He sighed suddenly realizing he was in the "I wanna cuddle" mood at the moment.

"Why?" Applejack asked incredibly curious.

"Its a sob story, if you ever heard one. She can fill in the parts when I'm sobbing." Flaming Feather made to take off but Applejack jumped on his back, wrapping her hooves around his neck.

"Then lets go partner! Ah can't walk on clouds like you Pegasi can, so y'all gotta carry me....If yer strong enough that is." She teased and he took off from the ground with ease, even shaking her a little bit.

"Whoa there! AH always enjoy flying on someponies back." She remarked looking down at the ground as they acended.

"Why's that Jacks?" Flaming Feather asked now flying towards Rainbow Dash's cloud castle.

"Well as an Earth pony, Ah never really leave the ground fer any reason. So up here I see things differently. Imagine you never left the ground in yer life. Y'all see what ah mean" At this Flaming Feather closed his eyes and thought of just that, and when he opened them he saw the whole world as Applejack saw it. He gasped.

"It's beautiful! Oh thank you for showing me your way of thinking." Right as he finished, a Roar of a Hydra was heard. They both turned their head to see The Hydra. It had four heads on snake-like necks and a large, orange, dragon-like body, with only two legs and no wings or arms, And It was heading towards Ponyville. Flaming Feather took off after it with Applejack holding on for dear life, but she was just as worried as he was.

"After it!" She yelled.
