They say history can repeat itself. Many think it doesn't actually happen. But sometimes it does. Similarities in motives. Similarities in actions. Just in a different context.
The earth is eons old. They know this. They've read the scars. Studied them. But this time, a scar reopened. And it's reopening the same way along the same lines cut there the first time. And now there's blood again.
Do any of the Princesses know something the rest of us don't? Do they know why this happened? If they do, they aren't telling. Maybe the time isn't right. Maybe no one is ready. Maybe they already have it under control.
Maybe that's why we're following orders.
We follow them with approval. We follow them with protest. We follow them with vigor. We follow them with hesitation. We follow them with pride. We follow them with resent. We follow them into the jungles. We follow them into the cities.
Just like how they were following orders.
We know not how nor why, but the works of their hands have been passed down to our hooves.
