Chapter 1 return of a killer

Thousand and seven years ago."Its coming." Luna yelled

. "Hurry get some warm water." The nurse said.

"It's a boy." The nurse said.

"What will you name him." Celestia asked.

"Angelo." Luna said. Staring at the black coated and white maned foal.

"What about the father King Sombra." Celestia asked.

"We banished him so I will raise him on my own." Luna said. Seven years later

"mommy look what I drew." Angelo said. It was a picture of Angelo and Luna on the moon.

"That's lovely Angelo." Luna said.

Later that night. "Celestia the night will last forever." Nightmare moon yelled.

"Mommy." Angelo said.

"Get back Angelo that's not your mother." Celestia yelled.

"Come here Angelo join me and we can rule the night together." Nightmare moon said.

"Stay away from him." Celestia said as she activated the elements of harmony and banishing her in to the moon.

"You killed her." Angelo said as he was engulfed in flames. "I'll tear you limb from limb Celestia." A voice yelled.

"Angelo is that you." Celestia said.

"No That pathetic excuse for a ruler is gone i am Diablo." The creature yelled.

"What where is Angelo." Celestia yelled.

"Dead along with his mother now die." Diablo yelled.

"Never." Celestia yelled as she activated the elements of harmony and imprisioned the creature in ice.

Thousand years later. "I'm free finally it's time to destroy equestria." The creature yelled as it took off towards ponyville.

"It's a great day time to go back to ponyville." Blackjack and dark shadow who were the top two guards in the castle said as he got on the train. At ponyville Celestia was visiting twilight. "Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh." Celestia screamed.

"Princess what's wrong." Twilight said as she helped celestia up.

"I sense something I thought I took care of." Celestia said.

"What is it." Twilight asked.

"You must promise me you won't go after him." Celestia said.

"Why who is he." Twilight said.

"Gather your friends ill have to explain back at canterlot and blackjack and dark shadow to join us." Celestia said.

"Ok." Twilight said nervously.

"Finally here." The creature said.

"Hey blank flank." Diamond tiara said.

"Who are you." Spoon asked.

"The name is Angelo Lunas." Angelo said he had a black coat and white mane.

"What type of name is that." Diamond said.

"Why am I wasting my time with you." Angelo said before running off.

"Scootaloo this isn't a good idea." A voice said.

"Sure it is." Scootaloo said.

"Who is that." Sweetiebelle said.

"He doesn't have a cutie mark we should have him join us." Applebloom said.

"Hey you what's your name." Scootaloo yelled.

"My name is Angelo Lunas." Angelo yelled back.

Back with celestia. "Is ever pony here? Good. I ll skip the chatter and go straight to the point. A new threat has escaped imprisenment." Celestia said.

"Another one? Who is it this time?" Twilight asked.

"Diablo Lunas, the bastard child of nightmare moon and king sombra who was sealed away in ice has finally freed himself after 1000 years." Celestia said.

"Wait wait wait. 1000 years? Isn't it strange that EVERY villian you imprisioned somehow gets free after a 1000 years?" Dark shadow said.

"Yes I realize this dark shadow and I plan on working on that but that is irrelevant. Diablo is still a young colt but his power is far greater than any pony can imagine." Celestia said.

"The next question is for tricks and Blackjack can either of you stop him." Celestia asked.

"Between the two of us he doesn't stand a chance." Blackjack said.

"NO! You aren't allowed to kill or harm him. We may not be nightmare moon any more but he is still my son." Luna said.

"I don't think I would be able to take him alive if he is as powerful as you say." Blackjack said.

"Then we'll use the elements on him." Twilight said.

"NO YOU WILL NOT." Celestia yelled.

"Why not." Fluttershy whimpered.

"Because Diablo wants the souls of the elements so he can destroy equestria." Celestia said.

"How is that even possible." Twilight said.

"He will destroy everything you love family friends prized possessions to tear away at your soul which will allow him to devour it." Celestia said.

"Which is why you will be staying here." Luna said. Every pony left for their rooms. "What do we do celestia." Luna asked.

"I don't know." Celestia said.

"Who are you." Twilight asked.

"I'm diablo I came to show you what's going to happen to your friends." Diablo said as a gruesome image came to view.

"Is that r- r-rarity." Twilight said. As a skinned pony became more clear the only clue was part of a cutie mark on the lower thigh. "Yes it is." Another pony came into view with its legs cut off and eyes gorged out.

"Appplllllleeeejjjjaccckkkk." Twilight whimpered.

Four more ponys came into view one of split open with candy coming out another hanging by there intestines with only one wing. A yellow one looked like she was brutally mauled by a pack of Wolfs. The last one was twilight herself turned inside out and being eaten by her own dragon. Twilight woke up screaming.

"Twilight is everything alright." Dark shadow said as he barged in. Twilight couldn't stop crying. When she finally calmed down enough to talk she told every pony everything.

Back with the cmc. "You three are coming to canterlot by order of princess celestia." A royal gaurd said.

"Why." The three said in unison as they got on the chariot.

"It is for your safety you families are already there." The gaurd said.

"What about Angelo could he come to." Scootaloo asked.

"If he is a friend then yes." The guard said.

"Alright I'll go." Angelo said as he got in the chariot as well. The chariot took off towards canterlot.

"Your sisters are already at the palace." The gaurd said.

"Why are they there." Sweetiebelle asked.

"That's classified." The gaurd said. A few minutes later they reached the castle. "We'll that was a fun trip." Angelo said. "Sweetiebelle thank heaven you safe." Rarity said.

"Hey scootaloo you'll be staying with me." Rainbowdash said.

"Really." Scootaloo said.

"Applebloom I'm so glad to see you." Applejack said.

"Same here." Apple bloom said. Luna walked out on to the platform.

"Angelo!." Luna yelled.

"Mom." Angelo replied.

"Wait I thought diablo was your son." Twilight said.

"We guess you could say diablos like nightmare moon and Angelo is like us." Luna said.

"So diablo is here right now." Blackjack said.

"Not exactly they split minds when I sealed them away." Celestia.

"Which means diablo won't be far behind." Twilight said.

"Where is he going to stay then." Rainbowdash said.

"He will stay with me." Luna said as she and Angelo walked off.

"What do we do about Angelo." Dark shadow said.

"We leave him be for now." Celestia said.

"Why if he is diablo we should end this now." Dark shadow said.

"He isn't diablo which means diablo doesn't have a body." Celestia said.

"So can't he just take over anypony." Twilight asked.

"True but diablo needs Angelo's power to destroy equestria." Celestia said.

"So we kill Angelo and problem solved." Dark shadow said.

"To be honest I'm glad to see him back and luna would be devastated if i allowed that and might turn back to night mare moon." Celestia said.

"Not to mention that's high treason." Twilight added as a chariot carrying Shining Armor and Cadence landed.

"Shining what are you doing here." Twilight said.

"Celestia called us in something about a new nightmare moon." Shining said.

"Every pony is dismissed." Celestia said as every pony left to go to their rooms.

Back with luna and Angelo. "I'm so happy your back." Luna cried.

"I'm happy to be back." Angelo said.

"When's dinner." Angelo said.

"It will be ready in around two hours." Luna replied.

"Well where's the library." Angelo said.

"Down the hall on the right." Luna said.

"Ok." Angelo said before running off. In the library.

"Hi there Angelo." A voice said.

"Diablo how and why are you here." Angelo said.

"I just wanted to say hi is all after all you have my body." Diablo said before trying to possess Angelo. "Not this time." Angelo said.

"Why's that." Diablo said.

"Because if you do then celestia will imprision us again." Angelo said.

"Angelo what are you doing here" Twilight asked.

"Got to go." Diablo said before disappearing.

"I just wanted to see what was added to the library." Angelo said.

"Twilight do you know any personality splitting spells." Angelo asked.

"Yes I do know one why." Twilight asked.

"Just in case diablo repossessed me I could use it." Angelo said.

"Ok ill teach it to you." Twilight said.

"We'll I think that's enough for tonight." Twilight said as the two ponies returned to their rooms.

In an ally not far from the castle a lonely unicorn was walking out of a bar. "Hey there." A voice said from the ally.

"What do you want." The unicorn said as she begun to walk down the ally.

"To kill you." The voice said. The unicorn stopped dead in her tracks. She felt a pain from her head. Her horn it was cut off. She thought before feeling another sharp pain her stomach was cut open.

"Please let me go." She yelled.

"Fine ill let you go to hell." The said as it begun to laugh as the unicorn realized her arms and legs were gone. The next day. "Who was she." An officer said.

"Lyra heart string." Another officer said.

"Should we tell the princess."

"There's no point."

Back with luna and Angelo.

"So when do I get to raise the moon." Angelo asked.

"After you have mastered your magic." Luna replied.

"Ok what's this." Angelo asked.

"That's my pony box 450 wanna play." Luna said.

"Ok." The two played portal 2 all night until Angelo fell asleep.

"Good night Angelo." Luna said as she kissed him on the head and tucked him in bed.

"Celestia what are you doing up this late." Luna asked.

"I wanted to talk to you about Angelo." Celestia said.

"What about him." Luna said.

"I just wanted to see how you were going to handle this." Celestia said.

"What do you mean we will handle like we did for the first seven years he was around." Luna said.

"Luna you need to think about school and about a teacher for his magic and flying not to mention politics." Celestia said.

"Well what about me teaching him." Luna suggested.

"You have royal duties and no time." Celestia said.

"Then what about if stayed with twilight over the school and come back during the summer and holidays." Luna said.

"That might work but you will have to clear it with twilight and Angelo." Celestia said.

"Ok then I will at breakfast tomorrow." Luna said.

The next morning. "Twilight I have a favor to ask you." Luna said.

"What is it." Twilight asked.

"Can Angelo stay with you for the school year and can you teach to control his magic and how to fly." Luna pleaded.

"Sure but it's a little late the school year already started." Twilight said.

"He will start next year then.

Where are the kids anyway." Luna asked.

"Rarity and Rainbowdash took them into the city." Twilight said.

"But why." Luna asked.

"It's Sweetiebelles scootaloo and appleblooms first time in canterlot so rarity thought she would show them around and Angelo wanted to go to and Rainbowdash wanted to get out of the castle." Twilight said.

With rarity. "Angelo what was it like here a thousand years ago." Sweetiebelle asked.

"I don't really remember it that well." Angelo said.

"What did people wear." Rarity asked.

"I don't remember." Angelo said.

"Hey can't we get something to eat." Rainbowdash said.

"Don't even ask I know what your thinking the answer is I don't remember." Angelo said.

"Fine I won't ask." Scootaloo said.

"Here's a place." Rarity said.

"Finally." Rainbowdash said as a white unicorn wearing a monocle and a tuxedo walked up to them.

"Hello miss rarity." The pony said.

"Fancy pants so nice to see you again." Rarity said.

"My my are these your foals." Fancy pants asked.

"No they aren't this one is my sister Sweetiebelle and these are her friends Applebloom Scootaloo and Angelo." Rarity said. "Angelo your an alicorn." Fancy pants said with a bit of shock.

"Yes I am." Angelo said.

"Mhm can we order." Rainbowdash said.

"Mind if I join you I would like to know more about this young alicorn." Fancy pants said.

"I don't mind at all." Rarity said.

"Now Angelo was it how are you enjoining your stay." Fancy pants asked.

"I must say it is quiet nice but it's not for me." Angelo said.

here it comes he's going to kill us right now rarity thought.

"What do you mean by that." Fancy pants asked.

"I must say that's its a bit noisy at night." Angelo said.

Thank celestia.

"Rarity I need to talk to you in private." Fancy pants said. Rarity nodded her head.

"There was a brutal murder last night." Fancy pants said.

"What happened." Rarity said.

"No pony knows just that the victims name was lyra and she was tortured before dying." Fancy pants said.

"That's horrible did they catch the murderer." Rarity asked.

"Yes they did she was lyras own lover and she claims she was possessed by a demon." Fancy pants.

"Well if you don't mind ill be getting back with the others." Rarity said.

"Before you go Rarity I have to ask is Angelo related to the princesses." Fancy pants asked.

"Yes he is." Rarity said. After lunch.

"Hey Rainbowdash and Rarity is that you." A voice said.

"Applejack what are you doing here." Applebloom said.

"We'll I came to find you I just wanted to tag along." Applejack said.

"We'll I was going too do some shopping with sweetiebelle." Rarity said.

"And I'm going to nap." Rainbowdash said.

"Then I think me and Applebloom will go visit the garden." Applejack said as the ponies disbanded leaving Angelo and Scootaloo alone.

"What do you wanna do now." Angelo asked.

"You want to try and get our cutie marks in skateboarding." Scootaloo asked.

"What's skateboarding." Angelo asked.

"You'll like it come on." Scootaloo said as she yanked on Angelo's arm. The two picked up two skateboards on the way to the park.

"Alright ready go." Scootaloo said as she took off.

"Wait up." Angelo said as he tried to catch up. Scootaloo did a few jumps and Angelo copied the two stopped right in front of the store rarity went to.

"Let her to please." Rarity pleaded.

"It will only hurt for a little bit little Sweetiebelle." The store clerk was choking Sweetiebelle and rarity was caught up in clothes. "Why are you doing this to her." Rarity said.

"So I can take your soul." The clerk said.

Raritys eyes widened in horror as she realized who the clerk was.

"Angelo we have to help her." Scootaloo said as she ran in. Clothing wrapped around scootaloos neck arms and legs.

"I'm goin to pull you apart." The clerk said.

"Stop." Angelo yelled.

"You again." The clerk said clothes circled Angelo only to be burned. Along with the clothes around Scootaloo and rarity.

"You win this time." The clerk said as he dropped Sweetiebelle.

"Sweetie are you alright." Rarity ran to the two crying fillies.

"Angelo where did you learn to do that." Rarity said only to realize Angelo was gone.

"You used to come here when something was bothering you." Luna said as she entered the castle koi pond.

"He tried to kill them and the fire." Angelo began to cry.

"What happened." Luna asked. Angelo told her everything.

"Angelo calm down." Luna said as she hugged him.

"I don't want to go back to being diablo." Angelo cried.

"So you created fire that doesn't mean-" luna said before being interrupted

"I've only been able to create fire as diablo." Angelo said as celestia walked out.

"How is he." Celestia said.

"Just shaken up about what happened." Luna said.

"Why would he be." Celestia asked.

"Because he created fire which before he was only able to do as diablo." Luna said.

"Now I would appreciate if you let me handle this." Luna said as celestia left.

"Everything is going to fine scootaloo I won't let anything happen to you." Rainbowdash said.

"Promise." Scootaloo sobbed.

"Yes I pinkie promise." Rainbowdash said.

"Where is Angelo any ways." Rainbowdash asks.

"With luna." Celestia answered.

"Why is he with her." Rarity asked.

"He about as shaken up about this situation as you are." Celestia answered.

"Why would be be." Rainbowdash said.

"Because he has never been able to create fire unless he was diablo." Celestia responded.

"Hold up Angelo is diablo you forgot to mention that important detail." Rainbowdash said.

"He is diablo in a sense diablo is just the evil part of Angelo." Celestia said.

"What really happened Celestia." Rainbowdash said.

"Right after I imprisioned nightmare moon Angelo unleashed his true power. And turned into diablo and tried to kill me I did the same-thing I activated the elements and imprisioned him in ice." Celestia said.

Rainbowdash sped off to find and tell the others.

"Your kidding Angelo can't be evil." Scootaloo said.

"He isn't diablo is the evil one." Celestia said.

"Rainbowdash Angelo and Diablo are two different people." Applejack said.

"Well ask Celestia then." Rainbowdash said. "Why wouldn't the princess tell us." Twilight asked. "I don't know." Rainbowdash said.

"She's hiding something." Blackjack said.

"Well he did save sweetiebelle and scootaloo." Rarity said.

"So what that doesn't mean we can trust him." Dark shadow said.

"Someone is going to have to find out what's up." Blackjack said.

"Perhaps someone who lives in canterlot." Rarity said.

"Someone with a military back ground." Twilight said.

"Fine ill do it." Blackjack said.

"Luna we need to talk now." Celestia said.

"What's wrong dear sister." Luna said.

"Angelo needs to learn to control his magic today's outburst has damaged the elements trust in us." Celestia said.

"I agree but-" luna said before being interrupted.

"Luna I know you would do anything to keep Angelo safe but you have to understand that he is a danger to himself and equestria not to mention he could change into diablo at any time." Celestia said.

"You said yourself they split when you sealed them away." Luna said.

"Luna you know Angelo hasn't been able to create fire unless he was Diablo." Celestia said.

"So what do you suggest." Luna said.

"I think that it might be best to use the elements on him." Celestia said.

"I can't believe you this is the first time I ve seen him in a thousand years I'm not going to allow you to do that to him." Luna yelled.

"I don't mean send him away just destroy diablo." Celestia said.

"For the last time he is not diablo." Luna said before storming off.

"Luna." Celestia yelled.

"So pinkie how does this work again." Angelo said.

"It's easy you just get Rarity over here and we drop this bucket of flour on her." Pinkie said.

"Sounds fun." Angelo said a few minutes later.

"Pinkie should be around here somewhere." Angelo said then two buckets of flour dropped on him and Rarity. This turned the once black colt white.

"Hey that wasn't the plan pinkie." Angelo said.

"My mane it's white!." Rarity cried.

"What's wrong with a white mane." Angelo said.

"Nothing if your not a white pony." Rarity said. Angelo and rarity begun to levitate the flour off of them. Luna and Celestia walked in. Causing them to drop the flour spreading it everywhere.

"It's Time for dinner." Celestia said.

At dinner Angelo sat by sweetiebelle and scootaloo who were arguing about what to do next with their cutiemarks. Rainbowdash was arm wrestling applejack and blackjack and rarity were flirting with each other. Pinkie and Fluttershy were eating and twilight was catching up with shining Armour.

"Wow everyone I want dead in one room." A dark voice said as the lights went out.

"Diablo show yourself." Celestia said.

"Can you guess who i am now it's someone very close to you." Diablo said every one immediately looked at Angelo.

"Not me." Angelo said.

"Shining what's wrong." Cadence said before she started to realize that shining had changed.

"Shining!" Twilight screamed.

"Get back twilight." Celestia said. Shining turned back to himself and a red cloud appeared.

"Time for the real prize." The cloud said before surrounding Angelo.

"Angelo." Luna yelled. Shining dark shadow and blackjack charged the cloud only to be repelled back twenty feet.

"Mom help." Angelo cried out but couldn't be heard.

"It's no use they can't hear you." Diablo said.

"Let me go." Angelo said. His horn started to glow.

"Why I'm going to use you to kill equestria starting with those fillies you hang out with." Diablo said. Angelo's eyes turned white and blue fire started to form around him.

"I said LET ME GO." Angelo yelled the fire started to expand.

"What are you doing." Diablo yelled.

"GETTING RID OF YOU." Angelo yelled as a blue explosion filled the cloud dispersing it. Leaving every pony shocked. Diablo had vanished and Angelo past out in a circle of ash. Luna put him on her back and carried him to her room were she placed him on his bed.

"Is he going to be alright." Sweetiebelle asked.

"I don't know." Rarity said. Celestia left for Lunas room.

"Luna I'm sorry that this happened." Celestia said.

"Dearest sister i Don't know what to do." Luna said.

"What do you mean by that." Celestia said.

"What am I suppose to do this is my fault." Luna said.

"What's your fault." Celestia said confused.

"Diablo is all my fault I should have just ended it with sombra before it happened." Luna said tearing up.

"I want to check on him." Scootaloo said.

"I think it might be best if we left them alone for awhile." Rainbowdash said.

"Luna how could you say such a thing can't you see he's happy to be here with you regardless of diablo." Celestia said.

"I know but maybe it would be best if we did seal them away again." Luna said.

"I think that that is a good decision equestria isn't ready for him yet." Celestia said.

"You hear that Angelo they've given up on you." Diablo said inside Angelo's head.

"I can't believe it." Angelo said.

"Well looks like we finally agree on something lets get out of here." Diablo said.

"How I'm asleep." Angelo said.

"We'll e better hurry before they cmc back." Diablo said. Just then Angelo woke up and teleported away.

"So it's settled we use the elements." Twilight said as they walked in to Luna's room to find that no one was there.

"Why did you send us into the forest." Diablo said.

"It seemed safe I'm not going back." Angelo said.

"We'll now that I'm back in your head no one is going to trust us." Diablo said.

"That doesn't make sense." Angelo said.

"He's gone." Luna said.

"How he was out cold." Rainbowdash said.

"I think diablo might have merged with Angelo causing him to appear past out but he was really conscious trying to figure out which one will control the body when he over heard your conversation and runaway to the evergreen forest." Pinkie said.

A few hours later of hunting through the forest and city luna finally found him.

"Angelo cone back to the castle." Luna said.

"I'm not letting you use the elements of harmony on me I'm not going back on ice." Angelo said.

"Is that what this is all about." Luna said.

"We have decided we re not going to trust any pony but ourselves." Angelo said.

"Not even your own mother." Luna said.

"You said that you didn't want me and to seal me away again so why should I trust you or anyone else it was all fake no one will ever like me." Angelo said. Luna was speechless she just realized that he overheard her and and he was heartbroken over it. "Angelo. Your time has come." Celestia said with the others behind her.

"Wait you can't do this." Sweetiebelle said as she walked up right beside Angelo.

"I'm with her." Scootaloo said as she did the same.

"Cutiemark crusaders stick together." Applebloom said as she walked beside the others.

"I was wrong he needs to be with me we can't just delaying the inevitable." Luna said.

"He did save Sweetiebelle and Scootaloo." Rarity said as she took off her element Rainbowdash did the same.

"I guess I don't have a choice I'm with them." Twilight said.

"Me to." Pinkie said.

"I reckon I'll be join ya ll."applejack said.

"Me to." Fluttershy said.

"You can't be serious luna face it he's a monster and you know it." Celestia said.

"You just fear what you do not understand." Luna said.

"Fine he can stay for now." Celestia said.

Later at the castle. "I don't like this luna." Celestia said.

Chapter 2 the nightmare fact

"Angelo it's time to go." Luna said.

"I'm coming." Angelo said he was dressed up as a wolf.

"Why are thou dressed up as a wolf." Luna said.

"Because I'm going trick or treating with Pinkie." Angelo said as they got on the chariot. At ponyville.

"Angelo you came." Sweetiebelle said she was dressed up as vampire.

"Hey there Angelo." Applebloom said she was dressed up as a cowgirl.

"Finally what took you so long." Scootaloo said she was dress up as a knight.

"It's not my fault we had to take the chariot." Angelo said.

"So can you raise the moon yet." Scootaloo said.

"I'm surprised you haven't noticed." Angelo said.

"YOU GOT YOUR CUTIE MARK!" The three fillies yelled his cutie mark was the moon with the Milky Way streak passing through it.

"I got it tonight when I put up the moon and stars a blue streak showed up in the sky Celestia said its called a Milky Way streak and it hasn't been seen in a thousand years." Angelo explained.

"Luna did you do the stars tonight because their different." Twilight asked.

"No Angelo put the moon and stars up tonight." Luna said.

"Who cares it's time for candy." Pinkie said as she grabbed the cmc and ran off.

"Well if it isn't the blank flanks." Diamond said.

"Shut it diamond." Scootaloo said.

"Or what." Diamond said.

"Diamond come on." Spoon said.

After they had finished trick or treating scootaloo and Angelo were getting flying lessons from Rainbowdash. "Look I'm doing it." Scootaloo screamed.

"Nice moves Scootaloo." Rainbowdash said.

"Cool I'm flying to." Angelo said. Soon after Scootaloo and Angelo took off towards the party.

"Is that Scootaloo and Angelo." Sweetiebelle said.

"Yep." The two said in unison.

"Who is this." Miss Cheerilee asked.

"This is Angelo." Applebloom said.

"He's Lunas son." Sweetiebelle said.

"He's coming here next year." Scootaloo added.

"I wasn't aware that Lunas had a son." Miss Cheerilee said.

Inside Angelo's head. "We should kill them now." Diablo said.

"Why I'm having fun." Angelo said.

Back to the party.

"Spike their is someone you need to meet." Twilight said.

"Fine I'm on my why is luna a child." Spike asked.

"That's not luna that's her son Angelo." Twilight said.

"Wait luna has a son since when. Spike said.

"Since a few months ago and it's a long story." Twilight said. As soon as it begun it was time to leave.

The next day. "Princess there were five fillies found brutally murdered last night each one decapatated and gutted." A guard said. Celestia froze and started to run towards Angelo's room which had its own guards.

"Is Angelo in here." Celestia asked.

"Yes he's been asleep all day." One of the guards said.

"And Lunas in there to." The other guard said.

"Okay then go about your business." Celestia said. Angelo woke up before luna a few hours later.

"Angelo your up." Celestia said.

"I guess so." Angelo said.

"Mind telling me why there are five dead fillies and ponyville has halted the school from continuing as well as a several restrictions have been placed." Celestia said with a grim look on her face.

In Angelo's head. "We didn't do anything." Diablo said.

Back to reality. "ARE SWEETIEBELLE APPLEBLOOM AND SCOOTALOO ALRIGHT." Angelo yelled.

"I guess it wasn't you then and their fine." Celestia said.

"I want to go to ponyville." Angelo said.

"Why." Celestia said.

"Because someone has to go and I know that my moms and your hoofs are tied here at the moment with the gala." Angelo said. "Fine I will permit it you will leave at once." Celestia said.

Yay I get out of the gala Angelo thought. Angelo packed his saddlebag and got onto the chariot it took off with his guards in it as well. His guards looked like Lunas and their names are dark shadow and blackjack. Upon landing in ponyville he was welcomed by twilight who being an alicorn was allowed to go out past curfew.

"Prince Angelo." Twilight said as she bowed.

"Princess twilight." Angelo did the same.

"You will be going to school here and will be staying with me." Twilight said.

"Ok lead the way." Angelo said.

The next day. "Angelo what are you doing here." Scootaloo said.

"About the murders and stuff." Angelo said.

"What murders." Scootaloo asked.

"Never mind." Angelo said.

"Students we have an exchange student from canterlot with us he will be here for a few weeks." Miss Cheerilee said. "Now introduce yourself to the class." Miss Cheerilee said.

"Hi my name is Angelo Lunas." Angelo said.

"Take a seat." Miss Cheerilee said. Angelo sat by Scootaloo Applebloom and Sweetiebelle. A couple hours later the lunch bell rong. "Angelo you can seat with us." Sweetiebelle said secretly she always liked Angelo a little more than her other friends ever since he saved her life.

"Ok." Angelo said.

"Wow look at her go." Scootaloo said watching Rainbowdash fly around. Inside Angelo's head. "We need to keep an eye out." Diablo said. "Why do you care anyway." Angelo said. Back to reality. Rainbowdash was falling from the sky. "RAINBOWDASH." Scootaloo yelled with a loud thud from her crashing. There was a pony standing over her with fresh blood on his coat and mouth. "Every pony get inside." Miss Cheerilee yelled but it was to late the mysterious blue pegeaus had cut off Angelo and the cmc and dropped the half eaten corpse of Diamond Tiara from his mouth.

"You look appetizing." The pony said.

"Your goina eat us." Applebloom said.

"Alive." The pony said.

"Not if I can help it." Angelo said as red fire started to swirl around him. Angelo had turned dark peach and black stripes and his mane had turned to fire his wings had large metal blades on them.

"Diablo." Scootaloo whimpered.

"Girls get out of there." Rainbowdash yelled.

" I don't know who the hell you are but your dead now." Diablo said as his horn began to glow a dark yellow.

"Interesting." The pony said as he rushed forward hitting diablo into the cmc and disappearing. Diablo changed back to Angelo. "Prince Angelo are you alright." Blackjack said as he helped him up.

"Fine but you need to get Rainbowdash to the hospital." Angelo said.

"Right away." Blackjack said as he lifted the pegeaus on his back and took off.

"Angelo what the hay was that." Scootaloo said.

"It is none of your concern." Angelo said.

"What do ya mean by that." Applebloom said.

"Your on a need to know bases now I have some stuff I need to attain to." Angelo said as he took off.

"Are you sure this is a good idea." Angelo said.

"We need the both of us here." Diablo said.

"On one condition you don't hurt any one." Angelo said.

"Fine." Diablo said as Angelo finally landed in the evergreen forest his horn began to glow and poof a smoke cloud appeared. And diablo was standing right next to him.

"Remember our deal." Angelo said.

"Yeah I know." Diablo said. "But what are you going to do about it." Diablo teleported off.

The next day the blue pegeaus was found dead choking on his own wings.

With the cmc. "Hey you wanna play a game." A voice said.

"Who are you." Scootaloo said.

"Sorry Im Angelo's evil half." Diablo said.

"Angelo's to good to have an evil half." Sweetiebelle said.

"You really think you know him everyone has skeletons in there closets as for yours I think I'll rip them out." Diablo said. "Whatcha talking about." Applebloom said but it happened to fast no matter how hard they tried they were to scared to scream or move. Slash chop went the knife in diablos hoofs. When Rarity found them they were rushed to the hospital they had cuts all over and there was blood splattered on the walls of the tree house spelling out your next Angelo.

"Hello Angelo." Diablo said.

"You did that to them." Angelo said.

"Your next." Diablo said.

"What." Angelo said. Diablo grabbed Angelo by the horn and throw him into a wall. Diablo shoved his metal wing into Angelo's side. Angelo tried to get up but diablo grabbed his front leg and broke it Angelo screamed out in pain diablo then grabbed Angelo's left wing and broke it as well.

"I think I'll let you die slowly." Diablo said before leaving. Angelo was found an hour later in a puddle of Blood.

At the hospital. "Is that Angelo." Rarity asked.

"Yes it is some one alert the princess." Nurse Redheart said.

"How could this happen." Rarity said.

"He must have used the spell I taught him." Twilight said.

"What spell Twilight." Rarity asked.

"A mind splitting one he must have used on himself causing diablo to split apart from him creating his own body." Twilight said. "Rarity."" Sweetiebelle said faintly.

"Oh thank celestia your alright." Rarity said as she hugged Sweetiebelle.

"Miss twilight we need to talk its about Spike." Blackjack said.

"Yes what is it." Twilight said with the worse thoughts coming to mind.

"I found him pretty beat up he is here in the hospital in room 117" Blackjack said.

"Oh dear." Twilight said as she ran off.

With Scootaloo. "Rainbowdash is that you." Scootaloo said.

"Yeah it's me squirt just don't do anything like that again." Rainbowdash said wiping the tears off her eyes. Applebloom was in the bed next to her.

"Applejack." Applebloom said.

"Yeah I'm here come here." Applejack said as hugged Applebloom.

With Angelo. "We re losing him." A doctor shouted. As another doctor prepared the defibrillator. One shock wait three seconds then another.

"He's back." Nurse Redheart said.

"And done." The doctor said. The large wound in Angelo's side was stitched up and the injured organs were repaired as well and blood was being put into him.

"How is he." Twilight asked.

"To be honest he's lucky to be alive." Nurse Redheart said.

Back with the cmc. "Where's Angelo." Applebloom asked.

"Yeah where is the kid Twilight." Rainbowdash said.

"He's in the ER he's on life support currently and just got out of surgery." Twilight said with a depressed look spike was at her side with bruises all over his face.

"Angelo's here." Rarity said dumb folded.

"I thought he was diablo why would he be here." Spike said.

"Diablo is the one who did this to Angelo and these little ponies." Twilight said.

"Can we see him." Sweetiebelle asked.

"No they won't let anyone in except his guards." Twilight said.

"Where is he." Luna said as she came barging in.

"Luna he's in the ER they aren't accepting visitors right now. " twilight said.

"Is he going to be alright." Scootaloo asked.

"He's going to be fine." Twilight said truth was the nurse said he might not make it due to the large amount of blood he lost. "Can we at least see him without going in."Applebloom asked.

"Now that we can do."twilight said. They walked down the hall to the room where Angelo was there was a series of small windows what they saw wasn't pretty. "Angelo was covered in bloody rags and was unconscious with a large bag of blood dangling beside him.

"Luna are ya alright." Applejack asked. Luna started to cry seeing her son like this was to much for a mother to be bare. After a few days they moved Angelo to a normal room but visiting hours were short.

"Angelo how could I let this happen to you." Luna said. "It seems just like yesterday that you just learned to walk and you spoke your first word mama. And when you fell into the pond when you were four and I had to fish you out. When you first started to explore the castle and got lost for five hours." Luna began to cry. "It's time to leave there are others waiting." The nurse said next was the cmc.

"We might not have known each other for that long but your by far one the coolest people I know." Scootaloo said.

"Ya ve always been there for us since we've met and now were goina return the favor." Applebloom said.

"Angelo I hope you get well soon cause your a cutiemark crusader and I made you this." Sweetiebelle said as she put the cutie mark crusader cape on the nightstand.

"Alright sorry but we have to limit the amount of people we let in its time to go." The nurse said. Next up was Rarity a Rainbowdash and Twilight.

"Now I don't know you as we'll as my sister but you did save her life and I will be forever thankful for that." Rarity said. "I don't know really what to say but get well soon." Rainbowdash said.

"I look forward to having you as my student and get well soon." Twilight said.

"Visiting hours are up." The nurse said. The next day.

"Uhh my head hurts wait where am I what's going on." Angelo said.

"Relax your in a hospital you've been out for a week and a half." The nurse said.

"I'll go tell your friends that your awake." The nurse said before leaving.

"You can come in now he's fully awake." The nurse said the ponies walked in.

"Angelo don't ever worry me like that again." Luna said as she hugged him soon every pony followed.

"Owe wing wing." Angelo said.

"My bad." Rainbowdash said. They talked for couple of hours.The nurse came in.

"It's time to go." She said as the ponies walked out.

"He will be able to leave the hospital in two weeks." Nurse Redheart said.

Chapter 3 the months after

Angelo was just released from the hospital a few days ago and was staying with twilight for the week.

"Come on hurry up." Scootaloo said.

"When your trying walk with a broken leg it hurts." Angelo said he had bandages covering his torso wing and leg.

"Uhh why can't you just get on a skateboard or something." Scootaloo said.

"What's the rush its only school." Angelo said.

"We re here." Scootaloo said. When Angelo walked in there were gasped through the class room even Miss Cheerilee didn't realize how bad Angelo was even though she had some idea of what happened.

"Angelo take a seat." Miss Cheetilee said.

"What happened to you." Snails asked.

"I was attacked by timberwolves." Angelo said trying to keep the fact that a serial killer was on the loose on the down low. "Your lying my dad told me everything." Spoon said.

"He said that...." Spoon started to say before being cutoff.

"How would you even know." Scootaloo said. The rest of the school day was like that.

"Bye I'm going back to canterlot." Angelo said as he hugged his friends goodbye.

Back in canterlot. "Angelo I'm glad your back." Luna said.

"Thanks mom." Angelo said. Later that night. "It's time to go to bed Angelo." Luna said.

"Be right there." Angelo said. Luna tucked him in said goodnight and left. A month past and it was the beginning of December. It started out like every other morning Angelo woke up before every pony else and walked out to the koi pond and garden. Then he went to the library and eventually realized that it was past the time when every one got up. Angelo went to his moms room no one was there then Celestias room the same. "Where is every one."Angelo thought out loud. "Maybe their in town or something." Angelo said to himself as he took flight. A few minutes later he came back. "Uhh were are they." Angelo said as he walked into the kitchen. "I'm soooooo hungry." Angelo said.

With celestia and luna. "I think we should have told him before we came to ponyville." Luna said.

"He'll figure it out." Celestia said.

Back with Angelo. "Meow."

"Hey there little guy." Angelo said as a small gray and white kitten walked in.

"Well at least I have someone to talk to now." Angelo said as the kitten rubbed against his leg.

"I think I'll name you socks because you look like a sock." Angelo said.

"Come on Socks." Angelo said as he and the kitten walked out to the koi pond. Angelo started to play with the kitten by using his horn like a laser pointer. Eventually Socks fell into the pond. Angelo levitated him out and took him to the bathroom were Socks clawed and tore the towel. Socks and Angelo ran through out the castle chasing mice making an enormous mess.

"Well that was a fun trip......" Lunas jaw hit the floor as she walked into the castle to see that there was dirt everywhere even on the ceiling.

"Luna what's wrong......" Celestias jaw hit the floor as well when she saw the mess. Angelo and socks ran right through them causing them fall along with ten mice.

"ANGELO" Luna yelled. Angelo and Socks stopped dead in their tracks.

"Mind telling us why the castle is a mess." Luna asked.

"Umm there were mice and we tried to get them out of the because we were bored." Angelo said his white mane had black and brown spots in it.

"What do you mean we." Celestia said as socks got on top of Angelo's head.

"Who is that." Luna asked.

"This is Socks his my cat." Angelo said.

"You can't expect to keep him after the mess you two made." Celestia said.

"Not to mention having a pet is a big responsibility." Luna added.

"Please we need something to get rid of the mice you saw how many there were." Angelo pleaded.

"He is right Celestia." Luna said.

"Ok fine but he is your responsibility along with this mess that you are going to clean up." Celestia said levitating a mop over to him.

"Fair enough." Angelo said taking the mop and starting to clean. A few hours later it was spotless. "Finally done." Angelo said as he walked in to where Celestia and Luna were.

"Not quite." Luna said while trying not to laugh.

"What." Angelo said looking at socks who looked back looking just as confused.

"You should look in a mirror." Celestia said smirking.

"Here." Luna said holding up a mirror. Angelo was covered in dirt and his mane was a mess.

"I know you need to take a bath." Angelo said.

"You probably do." Luna said. After Angelo took a bath he came back down stairs.

"Now your done cleaning." Luna said.

"Where were you all day anyways." Angelo said.

"In ponyville for one of pinkies parties and there was an infestation of locusts." Celestia said.

"Why couldn't I come." Angelo asked.

"Because we didn't know there was going to be a party." Luna said.

"I still would have liked to go." Angelo said.

"I know but right now it's bed time." Luna said.

"Aww." Angelo said. Luna Socks and Angelo went upstairs.

"Good night Angelo." Luna said as she kissed him good night.

"Good night mom." Angelo said as he hugged luna.

The next day in ponyville. "Hey Spike." Scootaloo said.

"Yeah." Spike replied.

"Could you send a letter to Angelo about the sleep over at Fluttershy's this weekend.

"Sure." Spike said.

"What do you want it to say." Spike asked.

"Dear Angelo you are invited to the official cutie mark crusaders sleepover at Fluttershy's cottage from Scootaloo ps your immediate response is requested." Scootaloo said as spike sent the letter.

In canterlot. "A letter this early." Celestia said to herself as she got out of bed.

"Oh it's for Angelo." Celestia said.

"Socks come back." Angelo said as the cat ran into celestia's room.

"Woww." Celestia said before falling on her flank.

"Sorry Aunt Celestia." Angelo said while picking his cat up.

"This is for you." Celestia said handing him the letter. Angelo went running to luna.

"Can I go." Angelo said waking her up.

"Go to what." Luna asked.

"To the cutie mark crusader sleep over at Fluttershy's this weekend." Angelo asked while flying around the room.

"I don't see why not." Luna said. Angelo wrote and sent a letter back to Scootaloo.

Back in ponyville. "He said yes." Scootaloo told her friends.

"Great all of us will be there." Sweetiebelle said.

"Do ya think Fluttershy will let us go in the forest." Applebloom said.

"Probably not." Scootaloo said.

Later that weekend. "Now Fluttershy are you sure you can handle this all by yourself." Rarity asked as she dropped off Sweetiebelle.

"Hey Fluttershy hope we re not late." Rainbowdash said.

"Is Angelo here yet." Scootaloo asked.

"Y'all startin the party without us." Applejack said.

"I'm afraid not we re missing one." Fluttershy said.

"He said he would be here." Scootaloo said looking disappointed.

"I'm sure he has a good reason to be late squirt." Rainbowdash said.

In canterlot. "Mom we re late." Angelo said as he put on his saddlebag and put Socks into it.

"I'm afraid Blackjack is going to have to drop you off I have some royal duties to attend to." Luna said.

"Blackjack hurry up." Angelo said.

I'm coming keep your saddlebag on jeez." Blackjack said.

"Sorry we re just late." Angelo said as they got onto the chariot. A few minutes later they reached Fluttershy's cottage. Ding dong. "Who is it." Fluttershy asked.

"It's Angelo sorry I'm late." Angelo said.

"It's not a problem." Fluttershy said as she let him in.

"Took you long enough we thought you weren't going to show up." Scootaloo said.

"Sorry I couldn't get socks in my bag." Angelo said.

"Wait you don't wear socks." Sweetiebelle said.

"Socks is my kitten." Angelo explained taking the cat out of his bag.

"Awww he's so cute." Sweetiebelle said.

"Where did you find him." Fluttershy asked.

"He was wondering around the castle." Angelo said.

"Uhh could we please do something cool now." Scootaloo said.

"Like what." Applebloom asked.

"I don't know crusading or something." Scootaloo said.

"I know we could go into the forest again." Sweetiebelle said.

"Absolutely not don't you remember last time." Fluttershy said.

"What happened last time." Angelo asked.

"There was a cockatrice and Fluttershy scared it off by only staring at it." Scootaloo said. "Doesn't sound to scary." Angelo said. "How could you just say that the evergreen forest isn't scary." Fluttershy said.

"Yeah with all the monsters that live there." Sweetiebelle added.

"And the weather changes with out pegeauses." Scootaloo said.

"I just don't scare easily." Angelo said.

"Well then good for you." Applebloom said.

"So what should we do now." Sweetiebelle asked.

"I know we could play hide and go seek." Scootaloo said.

"Alright then who's it." Angelo asked.

"Not me." Sweetiebelle said.

"Not it." Applebloom said.

"I'm not being it." Scootaloo said.

"That means Angelo's it everyone hide." Sweetiebelle said. The three fillies quickly disbanded.

"30 ready or not here I come." Angelo said as he begun looking for his friends. "Found you sweetiebelle." Angelo said as he moved the curtain.

"How did you find me." Sweetiebelle asked.

"Your feet were hanging out." Angelo said.

"Hi scootaloo." Angelo said. The orange pegeaus was in a car box. Angelo found Applebloom underneath the couch. A few months later it was time for the school year to start.

"What am I learning today." Angelo asked.

"Just a simple force field spell." Twilight said.

"Sounds easy enough." Angelo said.

"Alright concentrate your magic outward around you." Twilight said. Angelo's horn began to glow and a bubble started to form around him but it failed to be completed.

"Try again." Twilight said. Angelo's horn began to glow again and this time the bubble was completed.

"I did it." Angelo said. "Very good your progressing fast." Twilight said. The school year ended as soon as it begun but the next year would be different Angelo began to study under luna and celestia and diablo under king sombra.

Chapter 4 return of an old enemy

Ten years later. "Angelo would you do us a favor a go to ponyville to supervise the summer sun celebration." Luna said.

"Sure." Angelo said he was as tall as Shining Armour now and had a similar body build and his mane was shaggy and was over parts of his eyes. His tail was also unkept and long.

"Come on socks we re leaving ." Angelo said as the cat ran up and perched on his soldier.

"Maybe Angelo here can find a marefriend in ponyville Socks." Luna teased.

"Mom I'm not looking for a retaliation ship right now." Angelo said as he and blackjack got into the chariot as he took off.

"Your moms right Angelo." Blackjack said.

"You gotta be kidding me and a mare with all the stuff I do I don't have time." Angelo said.

"I know you've been running all throughout equestria but wouldn't it be nice to settle down." Blackjack said.

"Equestria would fall apart without me." Angelo said as Socks shook his head no.

"Even Socks agrees with your mom." Blackjack said.

"Yeah whatever we re here." Angelo said.

"First music that's funny it doesn't say who's in charge." Angelo said as he Socks and Blackjack began to walk into the music hall. A pony was singing in the most beautiful voice that would make most ponies cry.

"Who's there." The pony said.

"Prince Angelo." Blackjack said.

"Angelo well you've grown up a lot." The pony said.

"Uh have we met." Angelo said looking at Socks and Blackjack who looked like they heard the dumbest thing ever said.

"It's me Sweetiebelle." The pony said.

"Sweetiebelle you look a lot like Rarity." Angelo said. To be honest she did except for her mane which was still as curly as he remembered it and cutie mark which was a microphone with musical notes spiraling around it.

"So tell me who's your special somepony." Sweetiebelle asked.

"I don't have one." Angelo said. "Any ways looks like music is good ill be seeing you later." Angelo said as he left.

"What's on the list next Blackjack." Angelo asked.

"Decorations." Blackjack said. They walked into the town hall.

"Angelo my you've grown up." Rarity said.

"So I've been told anyways looks like decorations are good so I have to be going." Angelo said.

"Next is weather." Blackjack said. The three walked to the bridge to find two pegeaus sleeping on the job.

"Wake up you two you have work to do." Angelo said as he flew up and made it rain on them.

"Hey what gives." Rainbowdash said.

"What's the big idea." The other said.

"You two are suppose to be clearing the clouds Angelo said as he flew down next to them.

"Angelo you made it rain on us." Rainbowdash said.

"This is how you say hello after not seeing you after ten years." The other said.

"Scootaloo I didn't recognize you." Angelo said.

"Yeah I figured I finally got my cutiemark." Scootaloo said it was a flaming scooter tire and she looked like Rainbowdash except for her mane which stayed the same.

"You still need to clear the sky and I'm wondering who could do it faster." Angelo said.

"I could." They said in unison as they took off clearing out the clouds.

"Done." They said in unison.

"Alright thanks for doing that for me now ill be leaving." Angelo said.

"Now all that's left is food." Blackjack said.

"Alright." Angelo said as he entered sweet apple acres.

"Angelo when ja get here." Applebloom said she had the cutiemark of a wheel barrel full of apples and looked like applejack. "Applebloom I just got here and I came to see how the food is coming along." Angelo said.

"Well we re almost done." Applebloom said.

"Great well I have to be going." Angelo said. They went to a restaurant in town.

"I saw the way Sweetiebelle looked at you." Blackjack said.

"What are you talking about." Angelo said.

"I'm saying you should ask her out. Angelo spit his drink out.

"What are you kidding me we already talked about this I'm not into the whole love thing." Angelo said.

"I don't see why not almost every girl at the royal balls flirts with you." Blackjack said.

"What makes you think that I would even ask her out." Angelo said.

"I saw you looking her." Blackjack said.

"She was talking to me it would be rude not to look at her." Angelo said.

"It was more of a where if you know what I mean." Blackjack said. Angelo's face turned red.

"What me no I would never look there." Angelo said.

"Ha so you were. Looks like ill get you a girlfriend yet." Blackjack said.

"Yeah don't get your hopes up." Angelo said.

"Why not your 17 now and you haven't even had one girlfriend." Blackjack said.

"I know that but I'm busy." Angelo said.

"You know I'm starting to think your scared." Blackjack said.

"What do you think Socks should I ask her out." Angelo asked the cat shook its head yes.

"Yeah fine ill do it." Angelo said.

"Now how are you going to do it." Blackjack asked.

"I don't know maybe ill just ask I mean I've always liked her a little more than a friend." Angelo said.

"You mean you have a crush on her and Isn't it also time for the party." Blackjack said. The two entered the party it was time to raise the sun.

"There has been a change of plans." A voice said as darkness filled the room.

"King Sombra." Twilight said.

"Don't forget me." A another voice said.

"Diablo." Angelo grunted.

"Well if it isn't Angelo all grown up I see." Diablo said as he flew into the crowd. The crowd spread apart standing at one end diablo the other Angelo.

"We're just here to deliver a message surrender now or die. You have 4 days to decide your fate." Diablo said before vanishing.

"Your princesses have already fallen." King sombra said before vanishing as well.

"What are we going to do Twi." Applejack asked.

"I don't know." Twilight said.

"Angelo any ideas." Blackjack asked.

"Just one kill diablo." Angelo said.

"That's unlike you. You hate killing even flys." Blackjack said.

"Come on equestria needs to know that there is still someone leading the country." Angelo said.

"I think we should let twilight do that Angelo." Blackjack said.

"Then what should I do." Angelo asked.

"Stay off the radar. Your no good to us dead." Blackjack said.

"Fine but I don't like it." Angelo said. As twilight got in front of everyone.

"There is still hope we still have the elements of harmony." Twilight said.

"Angelo where are you goin." Applebloom asked.

"No where." Angelo said as he left the town hall and took off towards canterlot.

In canterlot. "Everything's been turned into crystals." Angelo said to himself.

"Mom." Angelo said as he landed in the castle.

Back in ponyville. "When are you going to ask him." Rarity said.

"I don't know he left right after everything and now the nights lasting forever." Sweetiebelle said.

"Sweetie you have four days until a full invasion comes to take over ponyville you should make them count." Rarity said.

"But won't you stop it." Sweetiebelle said.

"For once I so don't think we can." Rarity said.

Back with Angelo. "Their frozen in crystals." King sombra said.

"You would be wise to join us." Diablo said.

"I will never join you." Angelo said.

"That's to bad I thought you would be more understanding with your moms life in the balance." King sombra said.

"In fact we'll let you go this time." Diablo said.

"So enjoy what time you have." King sombra said as Angelo took off.

Back in ponyville. "I know rarity." Sweetiebelle said.

"Is every pony here." Twilight asked.

"All except Angelo hell I don't know where he went." Blackjack said.

"Don't worry I'm here." Angelo said.

"They crystallized canterlot." Angelo said.

"That means no army." Blackjack said.

"We'll have to organize a defense by ourselves." Angelo said.

"In case you forgot the only two fighters here are you two." Applejack said.

"Angelo could you create an army out of magic." Blackjack said.

"I might I've only created one soldier though. And I would have to do it when the invasion started." Angelo said.

Soon everypony got to work setting stuff up.

The next day. "Angelo there's something I want to ask you." Sweetiebelle said as Angelo was putting a cover over a large pit. "Yeah sweetiebelle." Angelo said.

"Will you go out with me." Sweetiebelle whimpered.

"I'm sorry what was that." Angelo said.

"Will you go out with me." Sweetiebelle whimpered again. Angelo leaned closer.

"What was that can you speak up." Angelo said.

"Will you go out with me." Sweetiebelle screamed as loud as she could.

"I was about to ask you the same. What did you have in mind." Angelo said.

"Dinner and maybe a dance." Sweetiebelle said.

"Ok how about 8." Angelo said.

"Sounds good to me." Sweetiebelle said.

Later that night. "Sweetiebelle you look amazing." Angelo said she was wearing a purple dress with a pattern of musical notes around it.

"So do you." Sweetiebelle said he was wearing a tuxedo.

"Thank you so where are we eating." Angelo asked.

"The Vatican palace." Sweetiebelle said as the two walk off.

At the Vatican palace. "I'll have spaghetti." Angelo said.

"And ill have the daisy salad." Sweetiebelle said as the waiter walked off.

"Funny isn't it." Angelo said.

"What." Sweetiebelle said looking confused.

"My family has been trying to get me a girlfriend and now we re on the verge of an invasion and I find myself with the most beautiful mare I've ever laid eyes." Angelo said Sweetiebelle began to blush.

"I guess when you put it like that it is sort of funny." Sweetiebelle said.

"So what have you been up to the past ten years." Angelo said.

"For starters I got n cutiemark in a talent show and I was going for degree in music." Sweetiebelle said as Scootaloo and Applebloom walked in not even looking at each other Sweetie did the same.

"What's up with them I thought they were friends." Angelo said.

"I guess I should tell you we are no longer friends we can't even be in the same room together anymore." Sweetiebelle said. "Why ." Angelo said looking confused.

"It was five years after you left Applebloom started picking on us and hanging out with spoon. Scootaloo started hanging out with the idiots and jocks of our school I guess and they left me." Sweetiebelle said with tears in her eyes.

"Hey you still have rarity and me." Angelo said.

"Thanks but it still hurts." Sweetiebelle said.

"Maybe we should get out of here then." Angelo said. "Sweetiebelle agreed. They walked to the boutique.

"Come on in." Sweetiebelle said.

"Ok." Angelo said. Music started to play.

"You know how to dance right." Sweetiebelle asked.

"Yes I do." Angelo said as he took Sweetiebelle's hoof in his and the two started to pace back and forth.

"Angelo I'm scared of what's going to happen." Sweetiebelle said.

"Don't be I'm not going to let anything happen to ponyville." Angelo said.

"I can't loose my only friend." Sweetiebelle said.

"Don't worry about me ill be fine." Angelo said.

"Make me a promise that you'll return home safely." Sweetiebelle said.

"I promise and what did you mean by only friend." Angelo said.

"Without Applebloom or Scootaloo I had no friends of course you always wrote to us but after we broke up I was the only one who even cared about the letters any more." Sweetiebelle said.

"Look Sweetiebelle you should know that I will always make time for my friends." Angelo said as the two stopped dancing. "Can you say here tonight." Sweetiebelle asked.

"Sure why not." Angelo said as the two went to bed. In the middle of the night in Anglos dream. It was the time diablo attacked Angelo except instead of Angelo being attacked it was Sweetiebelle and he was made to watch. "Angelo." An ominous voice said.

"Who's there." Angelo said.

"Im the creator of everything that exists in the past present and future I've come to let you know that you must face diablo alone regardless if you die or live he will be destroyed." The voice said with a voice sounding like Morgan freeman.

"How." Angelo said.

"Diablo is an extension of your mind and without you he can not exist." The voice said. Soon after it was morning and rarity walked I to find the two cuddled together.

"Awww the two are so cute together." Rarity said.

Back in canterlot. "What are you doing." King sombra said.

"Getting rid Of a problem." Diablo said as he cut off sombra a head and mounted it on his spear.

"Prepare the army." Diablo said."We move out now."

Back in ponyville. "Sweetiebelle I'm sorry but I have to go." Angelo said as he hugged her bye.

"Be safe." Sweetiebelle said

"Blackjack look after Socks." Angelo said.

"Of course but are you sure of this is the only thing you can do." Blackjack said.

"Yes I'm sure tell Applebloom Scootaloo i said bye." Angelo said.

"Angelo don't go." Twilight said.

"I'm the only one who can stop diablo now bye twilight." Angelo said.

"Now I'm not good with farewells so bye." Rainbowdash said.

"That's the worse goodbye I've ever heard." Angelo said.

"Don't go Angelo I don't want to loose you." Sweetiebelle said as she hugged Angelo.

"I have to Sweetiebelle." Angelo said.

"Good luck." Applejack said as Angelo took off.

Midway between ponyville and canterlot "Hello Angelo." Diablo said.

"This ends now." Angelo said.

"What about that little girl you've become so attached to your really going to die for her." Diablo said.

"No I'm going to die for my kingdom." Angelo said.

"That's to bad then I've come to like our little arguments." Diablo said. The two became locked in a beam duel. Filling the room up with blue and yellow light. Angelo broke the duel and took to the skies. Diablo followed and used his wing to cut along Angelo's side. Angelo fell to the ground with a loud thud.

"Why can't you see it's pointless." Diablo said. Angelo fired a beam of magic at him hitting diablo in the side.

"Ouch that actually hurt." Diablo said as he punched Angelo in the stomach. Angelo fell to the ground.

"Come on get up." Diablo yelled. Angelo got back up and slashed diablo with a sword he conjured up cutting through diablos cheek.

"This has been amusing now die." Diablo said before firing a beam of magic directly in to Angelo's chest. Angelo fell onto the ground lifeless.

"Ha I win wait what's going on ahhh." Diablo screamed as he faded away along with all the crystals.

In ponyville a few hours later. "Hey look it's Angelo's chariot with luna and celestia." Spike said.

"What's wrong luna." Twilight asked.

"He's alive right." Sweetiebelle asked. But Luna's face said it all her eyes were bloodshot red and watery and she looked like she didn't want to be alive anymore.

"I'm sorry Angelo's dead." Celestia said the words stung as she said them.

"No your lying he promised." Sweetiebelle began to cry. Twilight looked down in a depressing manor.

"Twilight where's Angelo he won right." Rainbowdash said.

"He's dead." Twilight said. Rainbowdash sped off to her house where she started kicking and breaking everything. "We should be celebrating Sweetiebelle Angelo won equestria is saved." Rarity said.

"He's dead Rarity my last friend is gone." Sweetiebelle said. Raritys face turned from happy to shear horror and disbelief.

Chapter 5 death is a fact of life

In the after life. "Angelo." The voice said it sounded almost exactly like Morgan freeman.

"Yeah." Angelo said.

"You sacrificed everything to save your kingdom you are permitted into heaven." The voice said.

"I can't go they need back in ponyville." Angelo said.

"There is no way back." The voice said.

At the funereal. "Angelo was like a brother to me I watched him grow up and surpass everyone's expectations of him. The last thing he told me was to take care of his cat. He was trying to assure me that he would be fine. But I knew better. If he was still here today he would tell us death is inevitable and it's pointless to avoid it and that we re acting like baby's mourning over the inevitable." Blackjack said finishing his eulogy. Next up was sweetiebelle then luna.

"Angelo was taken before his time. He reminded me of what its like to have a family again." luna started to tear up. In the after life. "Come on let me go back." Angelo said.

"Why should I let you go back down to earth instead of some other soul." The voice said.

"Because the people Of equestria need me." Angelo said.

"Why." The voice said.

"Look at them its pathetic really every ones sad or upset." Angelo said.

"Fine but you will not look like yourself instead you will be disguised and will have a week to prove to your friends and family that you are Angelo." The voice said. There was a bright light and he was back on earth back to the funereal.

"That concludes what we have to say about Angelo." Luna said. It was Sweetiebelle who was up next.

"Before Angelo left I made him make a promise that he would return sadly he couldn't keep it. A few years ago the cutie mark crusaders broke up and I was left with no one. Angelo even though he was always away he would make sure to send me a letter and see how I was doing. Angelo was the most thoughtful and selfless pony I ever had the pleasure of knowing and I'm proud that in the end I could still call him my friend." Sweetiebelle said.

"Someone taken Angelo's body." A guard yelled. There were gasped and whispers through out the audience. Back to Angelo. "Actually I don't look half bad." Angelo said while looking into a mirror. He was an earth pony with a silver coat red eyes and a black and green mane and tail. With no cutie mark.

"Remember that they must figure it out for themselves." The voice echoed in his mind.

"Fine new name time Silver." Angelo said. He walked into ponyville everyone looked at him suspiciously.

"Hey you." A guard said.

"Yeah." Silver said.

"Don't you know we just lost a member of the royal family why aren't you wearing black." The guard said.

"I uhh just moved here from over seas from europonyia." Silver said.

"Very we'll then you may go about your business." The guard said. Silver walked to the funeral home and sat down everyone was looking at him.

"Whose that." Scootaloo whispered.

"I don't know I've never seen him before." Applebloom whispered back.

"You think he knows something about Angelo's missing body." Scootaloo asked.

"Let's find out." Applebloom said.

"So who are you exactly." Scootaloo said. Crap think Angelo you need to convince them that you're you without sounding crazy. "I'm a friend of Angelo's my name is silver." Angelo said. Why did I say that oh well I'll convince them later.

"Is that so." Applebloom asked.

"Actually I have to get going." Angelo said as he got up and left.

"There's blackjack this should be easy." Silver said. He walked over to blackjack who was drowning his sorrows in ice cream. "Hey nice day isn't it." Silver said.

"What the hell do you want." Blackjack said.

"What if I told you Angelo cheated death and was walking around ponyville as someone else." Silver said.

"That's impossible." Blackjack said.

"Are you sure Blackjack after all you've been with almost his entire life like when he went on that secret political meeting in manehattan." Silver said.

"Angelo." Blackjack murmured. All silver did was shake his head.

"Don't tell anyone wouldn't want to ruin the surprise." Silver said before leaving Blackjack in disbelief.

"Now to find sweetiebelle." Silver said to himself. Silver walked all through ponyville to find Applebloom Scootaloo and Sweetiebelle at the old club house.

"Hey." Silver said.

"What are you doing here." Scootaloo said.

"Just enjoying the view." Silver said. Think of something Angelo.

"How did you even find the clubhouse." Sweetiebelle said she had bags under her eyes and she looked like she had risen from the dead. "I was just walking." Silver said.

"More importantly why are you here." Scootaloo said.

"Oh I just came to tell you Angelo's not dead is all." Silver said with a relatively calm look on his face.

"How he's dead." Applebloom said.

"There are ways to cheat death even in the afterlife." Silver said. Sweetiebelle started to cry Scootaloo and Applebloom started trying comfort her.

"How can you just come in here and say stuff like that." Applebloom said.

"And where would he be anyways." Scootaloo added.

"All I can say is you've been talking to him this whole time." Silver said before walking away.

"Wait who are you." Scootaloo yelled.

"You already know Scootaloo." Silver said.

"What's that suppose to mean." Applebloom said. Sweetiebelle had stopped crying she realized what the others hadn't. Alright next twilight then luna and celestia and that should be it.

"Your forgetting Rarity and Rainbowdash." The voice said inside Angelo's head.

"That just makes it harder. Silver walked into the boutique where Rarity and all her friends were talking.

"Hello who is it." Rarity called out.

"Wait your the pony that showed up late for the funereal today." Rainbowdash said.

"First Angelo's not dead second shut up Rainbowdash and let me talk third there are several ways to cheat death even in the afterlife you just need to know how." Silver said.

"Angelo's dead you can't just go around and say he isn't." Twilight said.

"Twilight look in the mirror." Rarity said wide mouthed.

"What's going on in here." Applejack said as she walked in.

"Angelo." Twilight said.

"Well I have a train to catch see you around." Silver said. Upon arriving in canterlot.

"Angelo I sense that diablos still alive." The voice said.

"What should I do." Silver said.

"Wait for his return its the only way to end the doubts that your friends have about you." The voice said.

Far away. "I'm back but how." Diablo said.

Back in ponyville. "I don't like him I think he was messing with us." Sweetiebelle said.

"Yeah I'm with you." Scootaloo said.

"But why would he do that." Applebloom asked.

"Guess who." Diablo said as he grabbed them and crystallized them.

In canterlot. "Luna it's been three days please come out." Celestia said. "Luna open this door now." Celestia yelled. "LUNA OPEN UP OR IM BREAKING DOWN THE DOOR." Celestia yelled no response. Celestia's horn began to glow and with one magic blast the door flew open to reveal Luna trapped in a crystal. "Luna." Celestia screamed.

"Hello." Diablo said as he imprisioned Celestia.

In ponyville. "Sweetiebelle where are you." Rarity said.

"Right behind you." Diablo said as he did the same thing that he did to the cmc.

"Haha with Angelo gone no pony can stop me." Diablo yelled. In cloudsdale.

"Hello Rainbowdash." Diablo said.

"Why you." Rainbowdash said as she tried to hit diablo but she was turned into a crystal before she could lay a hoof on him. Diablo did the same with the other ponies.

In canterlot. "Attention ponies of equestria your under new leadership." Diablo yelled from the balcony of the castle.

"Does anypony want to take me on any one." Diablo yelled as the door closed behind him. Everypony was in a cage suspended in mid air. The room was full of politicians and leaders.

"do any challenge me." Diablo said.

"I do." A pony in full battle armor carrying a spear walked in front of every one.

"I'll let you have first move." Diablo said. The pony charged Diablo side stepped and cut his underbelly spelling his guts out. "Any one else." Diablo said. Every one was quiet.

"I do." A pony said wearing nothing and armed with only his bare hoofs.

"Are you kidding me how do you expect to beat me." Diablo said.

"You'll just have to find out." The pony said.

"First what's your name." Diablo said.

"Silver." The pony said.

"Well the lets see what you have." Diablo said. Silver just stood still looking at diablo.

"What are you not scared are you going to attack." Diablo said. Silver just stood there.

"Why are you even here." Diablo said.

"Because ill die for my kingdom." Silver said.

"Funny those are the same words Angelo used when I killed him." Diablo said. Silver just stood there.

"Enough of this." Diablo said as he charged. Silver just stood there.

"Die." Diablo yelled as his wing came to contact with Silver but it didn't cut.

"What is this." Diablo said as a look of fear overcame him as he started to back up. Silver began to walk forward he started to change. His mane became white he had a cutie mark of a moon with the Milky Way streak through it his coat had become black. He grew a horn and wings and his red eyes became blue.

"Angelo." Diablo said. Angelo's horn began to glow blue fire spewed out if his horn and began to swirl around diablo leaving him a pile of ash. The cage fell to the ground.

"Angelo is that really you." Luna said with tears in her eyes.

"Yeah it's me mom." Angelo said. Everypony came and tackled Angelo.

"Hey." Angelo said.

"Don't ever do that again." Sweetiebelle said.

"Alright I won't." Angelo said.

Remember this is the one and only time you come back. The voice said.

"Angelo how are you even alive we all saw you dead." Twilight said.

"Like I said earlier you can cheat death even in the afterlife." Angelo said.

"You mean you were the silver pony." Scootaloo said.

"Yes I was." Angelo said.

"How did you stop diablos blade from killing you." Celestia asked.

"I had a little help." Angelo said.

"Well we are all happy your back." Luna said as everypony got off of Angelo except for Sweetiebelle who proceeded to kiss Angelo.

"Now we know why Sweetiebelle was so upset." Rarity teased.

"Hm figures." Rainbowdash said.

"Looks like he finally got a girlfriend." Blackjack said.

"Alright you two break it up." Twilight said. Sweetiebelle got off of Angelo as he got up. A bright light appeared beside Angelo and with the awesome voice of Morgan freeman it spoke.

"Well done Angelo you so some promise as the future leader of equestria and you've shown that you were worthy for a second chance. As for you miss sweetiebelle I will grant the life of an alicorn after all you two get married in the future." The light said. "Who are you." Sweetiebelle asked.

"Why I'm the creator of everything a sort of god if you will." The creator said.

"What happens to diablo." Angelo asked.

"He can never truly be destroyed as long as you live he will continue to exist." The creator said.

"Why." Luna asked.

"Because Angelo created diablo as a defense against celestia. Diablo was a freak accident like nightmare moon. Diablo will still survive as long as Angelo continues to exists because their minds are linked one cannot exist without the other." The creator said.

"So what happens now." Angelo asked.

"That's for you to decide. You could leave with me or stay here either way you'll end up happy in the end. Just one way is with your friends and family the other is in heaven." The creator said.

"But I already know what you choose and another thing before I leave for miss sweetiebelle."

"Yes." Sweetiebelle said.

"Keep an eye on Angelo for me he was only aloud back this one time as for you I hope you enjoy the next couple of thousand years and on that note I say my goodbyes." The creator said before disappearing.

"So how about that second date." Angelo said. And with that the story comes to an end. So until next time remember life is a gift not to be wasted.
