Twinken is Midnight's little brother, and is a new transfer student at Ponyville Schoolhouse. That said, Twinken moves to Ponyville to live with his big brother, both happy with the arrangement, but Midnight knows from experiance it's gonna be quite the fracas.

At Midnight's suggestion, Twinken befriends the Cutie Mark Crusaders and they immediately make him a new member.

But Midnight soon realizes his little brother and the Cutie Mark Crusaders together can mean a lot of trouble!
