Spike and Rarity were out gem collecting in the old spot they used to go to, before the diamond dog incident. "Oh Spiky Wikey, can you believe that 3 months ago Twilight became a princess?" Rarity asked Spike, looking for a gem spot. "Yeah, it's still incredible." Spike said sarcastically "I just wish I could stop hearing about it!" Spike shouted, causing the resting birds in the trees around the area to fly off. "Sorry for shouting Rarity. I'm just sick of hearing about it, that I'm just on the edge of anger." Spike explained. "Oh no need to apologize Spikey Wikey!" Rarity said, as she found another gem spot. "Oh Spike, I found another!" Rarity called to Spike, as she walked closer to the gem spot. Spike went over to the spot Rarity's horn was pointing her head at. When Spike dug up the spot, both him and Rarity found the same small pile they've been finding all day. "Darn it!" Spike began to shout "How come we've found nothing today?" He asked himself, when he spotted a glistening from a far bush. Spike, under his influenced curiosity, went to check it out and found a HUGE sapphire. "Ooo, come to papa!" Spike said. When Spike picked up the gem, he was immediately met with somepony putting a metal leash around his neck tightly. "YES!" A filly shouted, as she jumped out from the bush Spike was near, wearing a ninja outfit and mask. "I caught a dragon! Now nothing can stop me from getting th gems here!" The filly screamed, as she did a little victory dance. Spike had gotten free of his leash, and immediately said "Hey, who the heck are you?!" Spike was now angry, angrier than he'd ever been, and grew a bit in size. Rarity caught site of what was happening, and immediately went to calm Spike down. "Spike dear, please calm down, for me?" Rarity said, batter her eyelashes. Spike had heard what Rarity said, and noticed her flirtatious behavior, and immediately stopped growing. He was now about Rarity's height. "Now, who are you young filly, and where are your parents?" Rarity asked the filly. The filly finally noticed Rarity. "Oh, hey there! I'm Dinamight, and I don't know who you're talking about. I live here by myself! Or, at least I do, ever since the Diamond Dogs left, I been alone, all on my own. So, who are y'alls and what are you doing on my propertay!?" Dinamight asked, with what appeared to be a questions growing in her blue eyes. "Oh sorry Darling. I'm Rarity, but you've probably heard about me. Oh, and this is spikey Wikey!" Rarity explained, as she hugged Spike and then let go, after she heard a subtle chuckle, which became a bursting laughter. Dinamight couldn't stop laughing. "Oh sweet Celestia! Spikey Wikey?" Dinamight asked. As she got out from the bush, a branch caught her outfit, and tore a bit of it off. "Ah crap!" Dinamight said, realizing that her flank was showing, revealing her cutie mark, before she quickly hid it from the pony and dragon before her. "Uh, never mind about this!" She said, trying to hide her cutie mark. "So, y'alls got any friends?" Dinamight asked the two in front of her. "Oh yes, I think that my friend Twilight would be glad to help you find your parents!" Rarity said, putting as much emphasis on parents as she could. "I'll go get her, right now!" Rarity said, pulling spike with her, taking him to Twilight's house. The pony and dragon finally reached the library. "The two entered the house, and met the lavender Alicorn. "Oh, hello Rarity, Spike. Spike! When did you grow?" Twilight asked. "Well, some filly out at Rarity's gem hunting spot tried to make me her pet dragon." Spike explained. "Wait, there's a filly out in the wild!?" Twilight asked, baffled at the fact that a foal was out alone in the wild. "Yes Twilight, that's why we came here." Rarity began, then explained everything that happened up to the point of when her and Spike left. "Wow, maybe I should help her..." Twilight said. "Can you take me to her?" She asked. The three then departed, and went out to Rarity's gem hunting spot. When the trio arrived, the didn't see Dinamight anywhere. "Hello, Dinamight Darling? It's me, Rarity, come out won't you?" Rarity asked. "Up here!" Dinamight said, calling from atop a tree. "So, is this the Twilight mare you were talking 'bouts?" Dinamight asked, pointing a hoof at Twilight. "Yes I am, will you please come down here?" Twilight asked. Dinamight did as she was asked, but when she jumped down, her ninja suit was torn off by a tree branch, as well as her mask. Dinamight had turned out to be a light green earth pony, with a blue eyes, and a sky blue mane and tail, with a red bow holding a small pony tail in her mane. "Hey, I'm Dinamight. I live here at this fine rock. You?" Dinamight asked. "We live in Ponyville, and I'm the librarian!" Twilight explained. "Why don't you come with us?" She then asked Dinamight. "Ok, let me just go get mah stuuuff." Dinamight said, as she then left to go get her self required items. Dinamight returned, and her bag was packed with a TON of her belongings. "Ok, I'm ready. Let's go already!" Dinamight said, joking with a bit of rudeness put into the sentence. When they returned to Ponyville, and made it to Twilight's, Dinamight couldn't believe what she saw. "Wow, you live in a tree!?" Dinamight asked. "Yeah, come on, let's get you into your new home." Twilight said, as she opened the door, revealing the library at it's finest. "You're room is up there, to the right staircase, on the right over there." Twilight explained. When Dinamight got inside, she began to unpack right where she set her bag. "Ok, here's everything I brought." Dinamight began. "My last, one pound bag of biscuits, a gallon of water, my tea set, my esplosives, and my bears Prince Velvet, and Ms. Diamond eye." Dina explained, as she noticed Twilight's expression. "Uhh, Dinamight, what was that last thing you said just now?" Twilight asked, with a worried tone as she looked scared for her life. "My bears?" Dinamight asked. "No, before that, the other items you brought." Twilight explained. "Oh, you mean my esplosives? What about them?" Dinamight asked Twilight, looking a bit smug from Twilight's point of view. "Dinamight, you shouldn't have EXPLOSIVES in a tree house, a literal tree house!" Twilight said, putting emphasis on "explosives". "What?!" Dinamight asked "Twilight, that's a load of bull crap!" She then shouted, looking mad. "And there's another thing to be done, you need to stop swearing so much. A filly your age shouldn't be using such foul language." Twilight explained. "Now, we're going to have to do a couple things while you're here." Twilight said. "Yeah, whadda that be Twilight?" Dinamight asked, looking smug once more. Before she knew it, Dinamight had been floating, thanks to Twilight's levitation magic. "Hey, put me down!" Dinamight shouted. "First, you're going to need a bath." Twilight said. "Spike, i need you to fill the wooden tub with some bath water!" Twilight shouted to her assistant. Spike returned with the item that Twilight requested. "Now," Twilight said, putting Dinamight into the water, and using her magic to get a bar of soap ready "let's start cleaning you!" "NO! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" Dinamight shouted, trying to climb out of the tub. In what felt like an age or two, Twilight had finally gotten Dinamight cleaned. "Now, I want you to go dry yourself off, while I prepare the table for dinner." Twilight said, as she lifted Dinamight out of the tub. Dinamight didn't even decide to argue, because she knew how hungry she was. When dinner came, everything had been normal. Dinamight had eaten like a normal filly would, which was odd for Twilight, given Dinamight's behavior earlier, Twilight thought that Dinamight would've eaten like an animal. "Ok Dinamight, it's time for you to go to bed now." Twilight said. "Ah come one Twilight, can't I stay up and watch some T.V. with ya?" Dinamight asked, making a puppy dog face, hoping that she could convince Twilight. "I'm sorry Dinamight, but the answer is no." Twilight began, trying her best to not upset the young filly now living in her house. "You've got a big day tomorrow! You'll just love the surprise I've got for you!" Twilight said, clapping her hooves together as she sat down on the living room couch. Dinamight did as she was told, and went to her room that she'd be staying in for what she thought would be the next couple of weeks. When Dinamight went to her room, Twilight left the house using her magic, and reappeared at Ms. Cheerilee's house. Twilight knocked on the front door. "Oh, hello Twilight, how are you?" The school teacher asked Twilight, as she opened the door. "Hey Ms. Cheerilee, I need a favor." Twilight said. "I wanna enroll this filly I just adopted into your school." Twilight said, then explained as to how she found the filly. "So, can she go to your school?" Twilight asked. "Of course, just have her in my classroom by tomorrow morning by eight-thirty, and I'll handle everything else from there." Ms. Cheerilee said. "Have a good night Twilight." Cheerilee said, before closing the door. Twilight felt relieved. "This filly has a chance at getting an education." Twilight thought to herself. Twilight teleported home, as she did when she left. When she arrived in the living room, she noticed a sleeping dragon on the couch, and mare boxing on T.V. "Wow Spike.... Oh well, sleep tight little brother." Twilight thought, then planted a kiss on Spike's forehead, before heading to bed herself. School!?Dinamight was woken up early in the morning, which she hated to do. But she was woken up by Twilight or Spike, she was woken up by the smell of pancakes cooking in the kitchen. Dinamight scrambled to her hooves after getting out of bed, and struggled to open the door. When she finally got out of her room, Dinamight rushed to the table, eager to eat the new food she smelled. Twilight noticed Dinamight sitting at the table, and said "Good morning sleepyhead!" As she put down the newspaper to look at Dinamight. "How did you sleep last night?" "Morning Twilight!" Dinamight replied cheerfully "I slept pretty good, I had this weird dream though. The library was on fire, and the all Tarterus broke loose!" Dinamight said, using her arms to over exaggerate what happened. "Wow, that is weird. Well, breakfast is ready. Hope you like pancakes!" Twilight said, as they both started eating, with Spike following along. "MMM!" Dinamight said, after finishing her plate of pancakes "These things are delicious!" Dinamight then took her plate to the kitchen, and placed it in the sink. "I'm so stuffed, I'm gonna go take a nap, see ya later Twilight!" Dinamight was stopped by Twilight "Wait Dinamight! I've actually got a surprise for you." Twilight said. "Come on!" Twilight picked up Dinamight with her magic, and left the library. The two ponies had walked through town at an alarming pace. Dinamight said at one point that she might throw up, with Twilight responding with "If you do, no more pancakes!" Dinamight held her stomach the rest of their trip. When they finally arrived at their destination, Twilight was exhausted from running to make it in time to the school house. Some how, Twilight managed to say "Dinamight, today's your first day of school." Dinamight was wondering what would make Twilight go to a school "Uh Twilight... I don't wanna go to school!" Dinamight said "The other foals will make fun of me!" Dinamight covered her cutie mark, hiding it from Twilight even more than she already needed to. "Please don't make me go!" "I'm sorry Dinamight, but I already enrolled you, last night after you went to bed." Twilight explained. "Don't worry, you'll love it!" Twilight then took Dinamight inside the school house, and brought her to Cheerilee's room. "Ah yes." Cheerilee said, looking at the filly in the opened door, then turned to her class "Class, we have a new student joining us today! Come on, don't be shy now." Cheerilee said, with Dinamight entering the room, covering her flank with her tail. "Now, why don't you tell us something about yourself?" Dinamight was nervous, and turned to the door, only to see it closed with Twilight gone. "Uh.... I'm Dinamight. I just moved in with the librarian, Twilight Sparkle, yesterday and have been living here ever since." Dinamight explained. Two fillies laughed at Dinamight. "Wow, what's next?" One of the fillies, Diamond Tiara, said "Are you gonna say that this is the first time you've been to school, blankflank!?" Diamond Tiara teased, assuming Dinamight covered her flank because she didn't have a cutie mark. "Tiara! I'm sorry about that Dinamight, why don't you find a seat?" Cheerilee suggested. Sadly, for Dinamight, the only other open seat was next to Diamond Tiara. When Dinamight sat down to Diamond Tiara, she had begun to hate the day already. School went on for what felt like ages, then the recess bell rang. When all the foals ran outside to play, Dinamight ran outside and sat underneath a tree, and tried to make something out of some twigs and leaves. When Dinamight looked up from her current and sadly failing work, she noticed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon coming to her. "Hey, blankflank!" Diamond Tiara said, then Silver Spoon and herself began to laugh. When the laughing subdued, Dinamight stood up, and revealed her cutie mark, which made Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon's teasing even worse. "Oh wow! You actually do have a cutie mark! Oh wait, it's dynamite, so I guess you'll work in mines the rest of your life, where you belong!" This statement made DT and SS laugh even more, and made Dinamight angrier. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Over at the library, Twilight was researching Manticores and how they made an impact on Equestrian history. The phone rang, and Twilight sighed "Spike, could you get that for me please?" Twilight asked her assistant. In the other room, Spike had called to Twilight "It's for you Twilight, Ms. Cheerilee says it's important!" Twilight heard this, and ran to the phone and took it "Yes Ms. Cheerilee, what is it?" "Twilight, I need you to come over to the school, Dinamight climbed up in a tree and won't come down, I need you to get her." Ms. Cheerilee said, before hanging up. "Oh no, what happened?" Twilight asked herself, as she hung the phone up and left the library. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Twilight arrived to the school, she noticed that Ms. Cheerilee was talking up a tree, and figured that was where Dinamight was. Twilight ran to the teacher and the tree, to find Dinamight holding onto a tree branch, screaming something that she didn't understand. "Dinamight, what happened?" Twilight asked. "I told you Twilight, I told you the other foals would make fun of me!" Dinamight said angrily. "The light pink one with the tiara said I belonged in a mine!" "So you climbed up a tree?!" Twilight exclaimed loudly. "That's what she did, after she did something else Twilight, which is another reason why I wanted you here." Cheerilee said. 'Oh no, what happened?' Twilight thought, then asked Dinamight, in a stern tone "Dinamight, what did you do?" "I bit Diamond Tiara! Multiple times baby!" Dinamight shouted proudly "Then I had beaten up Silver Spoon, and then they screamed, so I climbed the tree!" "Twilight, I'm afraid I'm going to have to suggest an alternate form of education." Cheerilee began, then whispered the option into Twilight's ear. "So, what do you think?" "Ok Ms. Cheerilee, I'll do it." Twilight said "And as for you young filly, you're coming home right now!" Twilight said, as she used her levitation magic to bring Dinamight down from the tree branch. "Thanks for calling me Ms. Cheerilee, I'll see you tomorrow." Dinamight said, as she turned away from Twilight and looked out her window. "I don't wanna talk about it, just leave me alone for now." Dinamight said, getting underneath the covers, trying to go to sleep, with a tear forming in her left eye. Home school!?Dinamight woke up early the next morning, feeling even worse than she had yesterday. Dinamight left her room, and went down stairs to lie on the couch and watch some T.V. Twilight woke up not much later after Dinamight turned on the T.V. "Morning Dinamight. Hey, there's something I'm going to need you to do for me, OK?" Twilight asked "I need you to go get your school supplies." Dinamight turned to Twilight "Why, I don't wanna go back to that awful place!" Dinamight said "I'm just gonna get picked on again, and things will only get worse!" Twilight sighed at what Dinamight was telling her. "I'm going to be home schooling you from now on, so go get your school supplies please." Twilight told Dinamight. Dinamight did as she was told, and went to her room to get her supplies from her saddlebag. While Dinamight was getting her stuff, Spike woke up and came down stairs. "Hey, what's Dinamight doing home from school?" Spike asked Twilight. "Spike, Dinamight will be home schooled until her parents are found." Twilight told her assistant "But, there's something I wanna tell you, but you can't tell Dinamight, OK?" Twilight said. "And that would be?" Spike asked. "I'm thinking of adopting Dinamight, she seems like she could use a mother to keep her in a good home." Twilight whispered "Plus, she's been growing on me a bit. I've been thinking about it since she moved in. Maybe I should officially adopt her." Twilight said. Not long after this, and Dinamight came back downstairs to the library and sat down at the dinner table, ready tog et the learning day over with. The first lesson had been about the history of Equestria, and Dinamight was forcing herself to not fall asleep during this. Next was geometry, and Dinamight asked Twilight on several occasions why she had to learn geometry at this early of an age. The final lesson for the day, after 7 hours of history and geometry, ended with an English lesson, and Celestia was that dreadful for Dinamight. Dinamight was about to head to her room to take a nap, but was stopped by Twilight who said "Wait, Dinamight, there's something I wanted to tell you!" Without much hesitation, Dinamight responded "What kind of surprise?" Twilight giggled a bit "Well, I know you've been bad, in recent events, but I've got a treat for you, come on!" Twilight said, as she lifted the filly with her levitation magic onto her back. The two walked through town for a bit, and finally arrived at the town center. "Oh, hello Twilight, what brings you here today?" Mayor Mare asked. Twilight set the filly on her back down and said "I'm here to register Dinamight here as a citizen of Ponyville, and adopt her as my daughter!" Dinamight was taken back at this "Wait, you want me to be your daughter, even after all the awful things I've done to others?" She asked, looking Twilight in the eyes. "Of course, you've grown on me a lot Dinamight, even if it's only been three days since we've known each other. You're the best filly a mare and stallion could ever get, and I don't know who'd want to give you up!" Twilight said, hugging Dinamight. After they got the paperwork done, the two ponies went back to the library, and were happy to be able to go to sleep after such a long day of work. Spike, put the fire out..... FIRE!?" Twilight said, as she noticed the fire engulfing her house. Twilight leaped from her bed and went downstairs and found the base of the fire, and tried to put it out, but the fire department had arrived to settle things. Twilight had exited the library, hoping that Dinamight would've already have been out. She looked around the crowd of ponies that was starting to form around her house, but didn't see or hear Dinamight in the crowd. "MOM!" Twilight heard from Dinamight, and realized where Dinamight was. She was still in the library. Twilight teleported inside the library, and noticed Dinamight was trapped underneath a mountain of textbooks and dictionaries. Twilight tried her best to pull Dinamight out of the pile, but she couldn't, so she used her teleportation magic to get both of them out of the flaming house. Once outside, Twilight gave Dinamight some breathing room to allow her to, well, breath! "Dinamight, are you ok?" Twilight asked. Dinamight coughed for a while, but she eventually had fainted. Until Twilight realized that she wasn't breathing. "NO! Dinamight no!" Twilight screamed, as Dash had come to pull her off of Dinamight so the medics could bring Dinamight back to life with the defibulators. Twilight had begun to cry "What if they don't save her?" She asked herself in her thoughts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dinamight began to wake up, in the Ponyville hospital. Dinamight looked around the room, and noticed Twilight and her friends crowed around her after they noticed she was awake, with Spike at the end of the bed. "M-Mom, I'm sorry." Dinamight said, breathing in the oxygen from the oxygen tank she needed. "Sorry for what?" Twilight asked, worried about her daughter's health. "I'm sorry I set our home on fire." Dinamight began "I was getting a book from the library down stairs, and I had a candle with me, but I bumped into something, and dropped the candle nearby a pile of books Uncle Spike hadn't put back onto the shelves. I tried to put it out, but that made things worse. I'm sorry mom." Dinamight said, as she went to hug her mother. The doctor entered Dinamight's room. "Ah, Ms. Sparkle, I see your daughter is awake." He said as he walked up to Dinamight, holding a clipboard. "Now, here's the bill, sorry." He ended, handing Twilight the cost of the room and oxygen tank. Twilight paid the bill, and was able to take Dinamight home that day. "Hey mom," Dinamight began, as the two left the hospital "can we get some ice cream on the way home?" She asked, wanting to sweeten the day up a bit. Twilight laughed a bit, and said "Sure Dinamight, let's go."

I live here at this fine rock. You?" Dinamight asked. "We live in Ponyville, and I'm the librarian!" Twilight explained. "Why don't you come with us?" She then asked Dinamight. "Ok, let me just go get mah stuuuff." Dinamight said, as she then left to go get her self required items. Dinamight returned, and her bag was packed with a TON of her belongings. "Ok, I'm ready. Let's go already!" Dinamight said, joking with a bit of rudeness put into the sentence. When they returned to Ponyville, and made it to Twilight's, Dinamight couldn't believe what she saw. "Wow, you live in a tree!?" Dinamight asked. "Yeah, come on, let's get you into your new home." Twilight said, as she opened the door, revealing the library at it's finest. "You're room is up there, to the right staircase, on the right over there." Twilight explained. When Dinamight got inside, she began to unpack right where she set her bag. "Ok, here's everything I brought." Dinamight began. "My last, one pound bag of biscuits, a gallon of water, my tea set, my esplosives, and my bears Prince Velvet, and Ms. Diamond eye." Dina explained, as she noticed Twilight's expression. "Uhh, Dinamight, what was that last thing you said just now?" Twilight asked, with a worried tone as she looked scared for her life. "My bears?" Dinamight asked. "No, before that, the other items you brought." Twilight explained. "Oh, you mean my esplosives? What about them?" Dinamight asked Twilight, looking a bit smug from Twilight's point of view. "Dinamight, you shouldn't have EXPLOSIVES in a tree house, a literal tree house!" Twilight said, putting emphasis on "explosives". "What?!" Dinamight asked "Twilight, that's a load of bull crap!" She then shouted, looking mad. "And there's another thing to be done, you need to stop swearing so much. A filly your age shouldn't be using such foul language." Twilight explained. "Now, we're going to have to do a couple things while you're here." Twilight said. "Yeah, whadda that be Twilight?" Dinamight asked, looking smug once more. Before she knew it, Dinamight had been floating, thanks to Twilight's levitation magic. "Hey, put me down!" Dinamight shouted. "First, you're going to need a bath." Twilight said. "Spike, i need you to fill the wooden tub with some bath water!" Twilight shouted to her assistant. Spike returned with the item that Twilight requested. "Now," Twilight said, putting Dinamight into the water, and using her magic to get a bar of soap ready "let's start cleaning you!" "NO! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!" Dinamight shouted, trying to climb out of the tub. In what felt like an age or two, Twilight had finally gotten Dinamight cleaned. "Now, I want you to go dry yourself off, while I prepare the table for dinner." Twilight said, as she lifted Dinamight out of the tub. Dinamight didn't even decide to argue, because she knew how hungry she was. When dinner came, everything had been normal. Dinamight had eaten like a normal filly would, which was odd for Twilight, given Dinamight's behavior earlier, Twilight thought that Dinamight would've eaten like an animal. "Ok Dinamight, it's time for you to go to bed now." Twilight said. "Ah come one Twilight, can't I stay up and watch some T.V. with ya?" Dinamight asked, making a puppy dog face, hoping that she could convince Twilight. "I'm sorry Dinamight, but the answer is no." Twilight began, trying her best to not upset the young filly now living in her house. "You've got a big day tomorrow! You'll just love the surprise I've got for you!" Twilight said, clapping her hooves together as she sat down on the living room couch. Dinamight did as she was told, and went to her room that she'd be staying in for what she thought would be the next couple of weeks. When Dinamight went to her room, Twilight left the house using her magic, and reappeared at Ms. Cheerilee's house. Twilight knocked on the front door. "Oh, hello Twilight, how are you?" The school teacher asked Twilight, as she opened the door. "Hey Ms. Cheerilee, I need a favor." Twilight said. "I wanna enroll this filly I just adopted into your school." Twilight said, then explained as to how she found the filly. "So, can she go to your school?" Twilight asked. "Of course, just have her in my classroom by tomorrow morning by eight-thirty, and I'll handle everything else from there." Ms. Cheerilee said. "Have a good night Twilight." Cheerilee said, before closing the door. Twilight felt relieved. "This filly has a chance at getting an education." Twilight thought to herself. Twilight teleported home, as she did when she left. When she arrived in the living room, she noticed a sleeping dragon on the couch, and mare boxing on T.V. "Wow Spike.... Oh well, sleep tight little brother." Twilight thought, then planted a kiss on Spike's forehead, before heading to bed herself.
School!?Dinamight was woken up early in the morning, which she hated to do. But she was woken up by Twilight or Spike, she was woken up by the smell of pancakes cooking in the kitchen. Dinamight scrambled to her hooves after getting out of bed, and struggled to open the door. When she finally got out of her room, Dinamight rushed to the table, eager to eat the new food she smelled. Twilight noticed Dinamight sitting at the table, and said "Good morning sleepyhead!" As she put down the newspaper to look at Dinamight. "How did you sleep last night?" "Morning Twilight!" Dinamight replied cheerfully "I slept pretty good, I had this weird dream though. The library was on fire, and the all Tarterus broke loose!" Dinamight said, using her arms to over exaggerate what happened. "Wow, that is weird. Well, breakfast is ready. Hope you like pancakes!" Twilight said, as they both started eating, with Spike following along. "MMM!" Dinamight said, after finishing her plate of pancakes "These things are delicious!" Dinamight then took her plate to the kitchen, and placed it in the sink. "I'm so stuffed, I'm gonna go take a nap, see ya later Twilight!" Dinamight was stopped by Twilight "Wait Dinamight! I've actually got a surprise for you." Twilight said. "Come on!" Twilight picked up Dinamight with her magic, and left the library. The two ponies had walked through town at an alarming pace. Dinamight said at one point that she might throw up, with Twilight responding with "If you do, no more pancakes!" Dinamight held her stomach the rest of their trip. When they finally arrived at their destination, Twilight was exhausted from running to make it in time to the school house. Some how, Twilight managed to say "Dinamight, today's your first day of school." Dinamight was wondering what would make Twilight go to a school "Uh Twilight... I don't wanna go to school!" Dinamight said "The other foals will make fun of me!" Dinamight covered her cutie mark, hiding it from Twilight even more than she already needed to. "Please don't make me go!" "I'm sorry Dinamight, but I already enrolled you, last night after you went to bed." Twilight explained. "Don't worry, you'll love it!" Twilight then took Dinamight inside the school house, and brought her to Cheerilee's room. "Ah yes." Cheerilee said, looking at the filly in the opened door, then turned to her class "Class, we have a new student joining us today! Come on, don't be shy now." Cheerilee said, with Dinamight entering the room, covering her flank with her tail. "Now, why don't you tell us something about yourself?" Dinamight was nervous, and turned to the door, only to see it closed with Twilight gone. "Uh.... I'm Dinamight. I just moved in with the librarian, Twilight Sparkle, yesterday and have been living here ever since." Dinamight explained. Two fillies laughed at Dinamight. "Wow, what's next?" One of the fillies, Diamond Tiara, said "Are you gonna say that this is the first time you've been to school, blankflank!?" Diamond Tiara teased, assuming Dinamight covered her flank because she didn't have a cutie mark. "Tiara! I'm sorry about that Dinamight, why don't you find a seat?" Cheerilee suggested. Sadly, for Dinamight, the only other open seat was next to Diamond Tiara. When Dinamight sat down to Diamond Tiara, she had begun to hate the day already. School went on for what felt like ages, then the recess bell rang. When all the foals ran outside to play, Dinamight ran outside and sat underneath a tree, and tried to make something out of some twigs and leaves. When Dinamight looked up from her current and sadly failing work, she noticed Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon coming to her. "Hey, blankflank!" Diamond Tiara said, then Silver Spoon and herself began to laugh. When the laughing subdued, Dinamight stood up, and revealed her cutie mark, which made Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon's teasing even worse. "Oh wow! You actually do have a cutie mark! Oh wait, it's dynamite, so I guess you'll work in mines the rest of your life, where you belong!" This statement made DT and SS laugh even more, and made Dinamight angrier. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Over at the library, Twilight was researching Manticores and how they made an impact on Equestrian history. The phone rang, and Twilight sighed "Spike, could you get that for me please?" Twilight asked her assistant. In the other room, Spike had called to Twilight "It's for you Twilight, Ms. Cheerilee says it's important!" Twilight heard this, and ran to the phone and took it "Yes Ms. Cheerilee, what is it?" "Twilight, I need you to come over to the school, Dinamight climbed up in a tree and won't come down, I need you to get her." Ms. Cheerilee said, before hanging up. "Oh no, what happened?" Twilight asked herself, as she hung the phone up and left the library. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When Twilight arrived to the school, she noticed that Ms. Cheerilee was talking up a tree, and figured that was where Dinamight was. Twilight ran to the teacher and the tree, to find Dinamight holding onto a tree branch, screaming something that she didn't understand. "Dinamight, what happened?" Twilight asked. "I told you Twilight, I told you the other foals would make fun of me!" Dinamight said angrily. "The light pink one with the tiara said I belonged in a mine!" "So you climbed up a tree?!" Twilight exclaimed loudly. "That's what she did, after she did something else Twilight, which is another reason why I wanted you here." Cheerilee said. 'Oh no, what happened?' Twilight thought, then asked Dinamight, in a stern tone "Dinamight, what did you do?" "I bit Diamond Tiara! Multiple times baby!" Dinamight shouted proudly "Then I had beaten up Silver Spoon, and then they screamed, so I climbed the tree!" "Twilight, I'm afraid I'm going to have to suggest an alternate form of education." Cheerilee began, then whispered the option into Twilight's ear. "So, what do you think?" "Ok Ms. Cheerilee, I'll do it." Twilight said "And as for you young filly, you're coming home right now!" Twilight said, as she used her levitation magic to bring Dinamight down from the tree branch. "Thanks for calling me Ms. Cheerilee, I'll see you tomorrow." Twilight said, then used her transportation magic to get to he library. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "So young filly, what do you have to say for yourself?" Twilight asked, as she put Dinamight onto her bed in her room. "I'm sorry Twilight, but I told you, other foals would just make fun of me.... Because they always have." Dinamight said, as she turned away from Twilight and looked out her window. "I don't wanna talk about it, just leave me alone for now." Dinamight said, getting underneath the covers, trying to go to sleep, with a tear forming in her left eye.
Home school!?Dinamight woke up early the next morning, feeling even worse than she had yesterday. Dinamight left her room, and went down stairs to lie on the couch and watch some T.V. Twilight woke up not much later after Dinamight turned on the T.V. "Morning Dinamight. Hey, there's something I'm going to need you to do for me, OK?" Twilight asked "I need you to go get your school supplies." Dinamight turned to Twilight "Why, I don't wanna go back to that awful place!" Dinamight said "I'm just gonna get picked on again, and things will only get worse!" Twilight sighed at what Dinamight was telling her. "I'm going to be home schooling you from now on, so go get your school supplies please." Twilight told Dinamight. Dinamight did as she was told, and went to her room to get her supplies from her saddlebag. While Dinamight was getting her stuff, Spike woke up and came down stairs. "Hey, what's Dinamight doing home from school?" Spike asked Twilight. "Spike, Dinamight will be home schooled until her parents are found." Twilight told her assistant "But, there's something I wanna tell you, but you can't tell Dinamight, OK?" Twilight said. "And that would be?" Spike asked. "I'm thinking of adopting Dinamight, she seems like she could use a mother to keep her in a good home." Twilight whispered "Plus, she's been growing on me a bit. I've been thinking about it since she moved in. Maybe I should officially adopt her." Twilight said. Not long after this, and Dinamight came back downstairs to the library and sat down at the dinner table, ready tog et the learning day over with. The first lesson had been about the history of Equestria, and Dinamight was forcing herself to not fall asleep during this. Next was geometry, and Dinamight asked Twilight on several occasions why she had to learn geometry at this early of an age. The final lesson for the day, after 7 hours of history and geometry, ended with an English lesson, and Celestia was that dreadful for Dinamight. Dinamight was about to head to her room to take a nap, but was stopped by Twilight who said "Wait, Dinamight, there's something I wanted to tell you!" Without much hesitation, Dinamight responded "What kind of surprise?" Twilight giggled a bit "Well, I know you've been bad, in recent events, but I've got a treat for you, come on!" Twilight said, as she lifted the filly with her levitation magic onto her back. The two walked through town for a bit, and finally arrived at the town center. "Oh, hello Twilight, what brings you here today?" Mayor Mare asked. Twilight set the filly on her back down and said "I'm here to register Dinamight here as a citizen of Ponyville, and adopt her as my daughter!" Dinamight was taken back at this "Wait, you want me to be your daughter, even after all the awful things I've done to others?" She asked, looking Twilight in the eyes. "Of course, you've grown on me a lot Dinamight, even if it's only been three days since we've known each other. You're the best filly a mare and stallion could ever get, and I don't know who'd want to give you up!" Twilight said, hugging Dinamight. After they got the paperwork done, the two ponies went back to the library, and were happy to be able to go to sleep after such a long day of work. Once the two entered the library, they both went to their bedrooms, and went straight to bed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Twilight woke up, to the odd smell of smoke. "Huh? Spike, put the fire out..... FIRE!?" Twilight said, as she noticed the fire engulfing her house. Twilight leaped from her bed and went downstairs and found the base of the fire, and tried to put it out, but the fire department had arrived to settle things. Twilight had exited the library, hoping that Dinamight would've already have been out. She looked around the crowd of ponies that was starting to form around her house, but didn't see or hear Dinamight in the crowd. "MOM!" Twilight heard from Dinamight, and realized where Dinamight was. She was still in the library. Twilight teleported inside the library, and noticed Dinamight was trapped underneath a mountain of textbooks and dictionaries. Twilight tried her best to pull Dinamight out of the pile, but she couldn't, so she used her teleportation magic to get both of them out of the flaming house. Once outside, Twilight gave Dinamight some breathing room to allow her to, well, breath! "Dinamight, are you ok?" Twilight asked. Dinamight coughed for a while, but she eventually had fainted. Until Twilight realized that she wasn't breathing. "NO! Dinamight no!" Twilight screamed, as Dash had come to pull her off of Dinamight so the medics could bring Dinamight back to life with the defibulators. Twilight had begun to cry "What if they don't save her?" She asked herself in her thoughts. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dinamight began to wake up, in the Ponyville hospital. Dinamight looked around the room, and noticed Twilight and her friends crowed around her after they noticed she was awake, with Spike at the end of the bed. "M-Mom, I'm sorry." Dinamight said, breathing in the oxygen from the oxygen tank she needed. "Sorry for what?" Twilight asked, worried about her daughter's health. "I'm sorry I set our home on fire." Dinamight began "I was getting a book from the library down stairs, and I had a candle with me, but I bumped into something, and dropped the candle nearby a pile of books Uncle Spike hadn't put back onto the shelves. I tried to put it out, but that made things worse. I'm sorry mom." Dinamight said, as she went to hug her mother. The doctor entered Dinamight's room. "Ah, Ms. Sparkle, I see your daughter is awake." He said as he walked up to Dinamight, holding a clipboard. "Now, here's the bill, sorry." He ended, handing Twilight the cost of the room and oxygen tank. Twilight paid the bill, and was able to take Dinamight home that day. "Hey mom," Dinamight began, as the two left the hospital "can we get some ice cream on the way home?" She asked, wanting to sweeten the day up a bit. Twilight laughed a bit, and said "Sure Dinamight, let's go."
