Hellboundby Classy ToadChaptersHomelessWooden MushroomsPassing With Flying ColorsFriends and FoesHospitalizedHomelessHellbound By: Yesterday ∂ "Murrrr... ugh! What was that?" I instantly bolt up, standing attentive for any threat. I pull out my bow, nocking an arrow, and head around the shallow mouth of my cave. My feet scrape across the cold floor of stone, and a chilly wind picks up, waking me up further. I shimmy around a large staglagmite and barely cover a gasp when I see the threat. There was a dragon asleep in the cave, its large mouth belching out smog. 'Well, I guess its time to move, there's now way I could take out a dragon. a couple of timberwolves, maybe, but a dragon absolutly not. I doubt I could even peirce one of those hard scales...' I sigh, this was the first place I had ever lived in in Equestria, this is where I grew up, my childhood. This is where I learned to make and shoot a bow... It is also where I saw my parents die. I am the last of my race, I am a human. My parents and a couple others were magically transported here by Discord, about twenty-five years back. Unfortunately my mother was the only female to come and my father was the only one to mate with her. They were disappointed to have a son and not a daughter. I grabbed my quiver full of the few weapons I own, and I pick up my dagger, a gift from my father. It was the only piece of metal to be made into a dagger, most of the rare substance was made into tools to help us survive, but because he created me he was proclaimed to be king. And a king would need a weapon. I guess that makes me a prince by blood. Prince Ambrosius... I like it. My mother always told me that Ambrosius was the name of the most feared warriors in Ancient Greece, because they were rarely if ever killed. I never knew what 'Ancient Greece' was bacause no one would tell me about their past. I like it because it fits. I was the only one to live after the timberwolves... ∂ Flashback ∂ There were fourteen of them and only nine of us, one wounded. We had an advantadge though, we had bows. We tried to kill them by shooting them in the head, but they just ignored it and kept on trying to kill us. Thats when the first of us died. I shot one through the heart, and that stopped them. I began to tell everyone to shoot them through the heart, but they ignored me. Two more died. I shot another, making it five fighting to twelve. We all felt the dread. I dispatched one of the wolves as they tried to kill the wounded man, lowering the count to eleven, but another wolf killed him before I could reload. That wolf died, and I felt a rage build up in me as I heard the pained scream of another dead. Four to ten. My rage blinded me, the world was drenched in a blood colored red. My shots seemed to become more accurate, and the world slowed down. I killed three more wolves before I heared the next scream. Three to seven, only me and my father were fighting though, mother was never taught. More red. I killed three more, and my father killed one, only by luck. The shot ricoched off the stone floor and punctured the wolf, tearing the heart in half. Three left. Mothers' scream. More red. I killed another before the last two wisened up and charged my father from both sides, making him choose which one to kill. The red drained away quickly as I began to panic, I prepare a shot and shoot it hastily at one wolf. Unfortuantly in my haste its missed the heart and only hit it's stomach, slowing it down slightly. Father pulled back his bow and shot one arrow through the heart of one of the beasts. The wounded one jumped and bit his neck, killing him instantly. My arrow was not far behind as it quickly killed the final being. I quickly run over to my father, not dropping the bow incase of reinforcements. As I see his mangled body, my legs become jelly and I colapse next to him, tears flowing freely from my eyes. I look towards my bleeding mother, my dead family laying sadly on the floor. The fear was still etched on her face... I look to my friends... dead... everything is dead... My tears begin to mix in with the huge puddles of blood that drenched the floor of the cavern. Exhasusted, I slowly fall asleep, clutching my dead father protectively, and ignore the possible danger. ∂ End Flashback ∂ I pass a quick glance over to the nine roughly made gravestones that surrounded the cavern, each of them reminding me of the danger of this world each time I leave to get food. My eyes pass over each of the graves, sending my sorrow to the lost souls. My eyes stop over the final name, 'Jason.' "Jason..." I whisper, partally out of fear of waking the dragon, and partially out of respect. ∂ Flashback ∂ "AMBROSE MOVE!" someone yelled to me. I wasnt paying attention because I had recently shot the hydra in the eye, killing one of their brains. The other was dead too, leaving only the last one left, and full of anger at the little creature who killed part of it. The final head lunged at me, only for me to be pushed away by another one of the puny beasts. I looked at the mans face and instantly remembered him to be called Jason. Fortunately, neither of us were killed by the hydra. Unfortunately, the hydra bit off Jasons leg from the knee down. "RROOOOAAAAAARRrrrrrrr..." the giant hydra's body slowly crashed to the ground after it reared back in pain. I looked at it confused, and noticed the longbow sticking out of its eye, going through the brain and Jasons' lack of a weapon. It dawned on me that he must have shoved the bow into the beast before it could have recovered from the strike. Jasons' leg was bleeding horribly, and would probably get infected in the bog. That is, if he will even survive before he runs out of blood. Horrified, I tear off the bottom of his shirt and press it to the wound, "hey... kid. I need you to work harder," he began to cough, and only started again when it died down, his voice becoming more strained, "I want you to protect them." Tears began to leak out of my eyes when I realized, not only is he going to die, but I have failed. I let someone die. I let my family die. I watched as the light slowly began to fade from his eyes, leaving only darkness. I cried into his chest, muttering for him not to die even though I knew it was pointless. My father gentally pulled me off him and embraced me fermly, and I cried into his shoulder. ∂ End Flashback ∂ I looked down at the hydra-skin tunic, pants and shoes I had on, remembering the night my father walked up to me and put them down. He told me it was a way of keeping Jason close, I interprested them as a reminder of my failure, and that I must get stronger. The tunic was a meanacing orange color, cut from the head of the hydra, while the pants and shoes were brown, and carved out from the stomach hide of the foul beast. They were extremely durable, and put up some resistance in a fight... I sigh, and conjured a small blue flame in the palm of my hand. I watched it flicker, hearing some sizzling as one of my tears hit it. One of my old guilts haunted my, 'I could have used this to heal Jason... but I only learned of it after he died...' It was true, mother only told me the stories about magic after he died, but I still felt it was my fault. Once my tears died off, I knelt down before the stones, and prayed one last time to my family, apologizing for not being able to help them, and for them to please forgive me and help me find a new home. I kissed my mothers' stone and stood up, and turned around walking into the dangerous forest with only my bow and arrows, and the small amount of medicine I could bring with me in my pouch. Wooden MushroomsI took a long draught of the cool, clear water. I'd need it to last for as long as possible, who knows the next time I'll find another clean water source. Saturating myself, I pulled back sucking air into my lungs. I look back at my reflection, and notice how much thinner my face looks. My black hair is the same, my ears the same shape, but almost everything else was... different. My blue eyes were slightly sunken into my head like I haven't slept in a while, and my chin was more prominent and pointed. I sigh, I looked different from when I left the cave just two days ago. I would never be the innocent child I had been, even though I didn't have that for long... I am my own scar... Shaking my head as if to shake the thoughts away, I stood up and looked around. After finishing my paranoid scanning, I gave myself the 'all clear.' It had been two days in the most dangerous place possible and I still haven't seen head nor tentacle of anything vicious, I was getting upset. It didn't make any sense, wouldn't something try to eat a small defenceless creature with no home? Home... it dawns on me that it might be the favor I asked my family of, to protect me. This also means they forgive me! My spirits skyrocketed at the thought. I set off at a brisk jog, elated because of the realization. I noticed the forest thinning and more light was shining throught the think branches of the overhanging trees. Suddenly, the forest just stops. It was like someone just prevented the forest from growing, like the forest couldn't reach out to kill anyone... but who? I look around and see no one within the eyes view. I begin to become anxious, who was hiding? I run out into the meadow, knowing my bow wouldn't be able to work to its full capacity in the thick wood. I suddenly stop as I cross over a large dirt... trail? I look at it confused for a moment before deciding that it was probably safe to follow. I walk along it quickly, wanting to be so exposed for as little as possible. I saw a river flow through the middle of the path, with some strange wooden thing going over it. I walk up to the wooden structure and press my foot on it to see if it would take my weight. It does, so I hastily cross over it, not trusting it. Continuing along the path another strange wooden structure enters my field of view. This one was different from the other, it was shaped like a fat mushroom, and had grass growing all over the top. There were many beautiful flowers surrounding it. I walk around it, it looked pretty secure, and I don't think there's anyone in it, there would be a fire in there. But... there was no entrance... I walk up to it, examining it closely. There appeared to be a section of weaker wood, maybe I could bust it down... I creep closer to the weak spot and knock on it to see if I was right and it was thin enough to be broken down. It sounded hollow so I pulled back to tackle it, breaking it off from the rest of the wood... hopefully. "Coming!" a female voice said from inside the... thing. I pause, I could understand it does that mean it's human!? My eyes gleam in happyness, but when I see the section open the gleam left and they opened wide in surprise and fear. Standing right infront of me was a little yellow creature, possibly dangerous. I instinctively reached for my bow before stopping myself. This creature could speak my language, meaning it probably had more sense then most animals, maybe I ask if it was going to hurt me and solve this peacefully? I assume she was the owner of that voice... "Um... Hi? My name is Ambrosius... and... um... are you going to hurt me?" I finish awkwardly. She looked at me shocked, before responding quickly. "Nononono," she poured out suddenly, "I'm not going to hurt you... Ambros... ius? Um... my name is Fluttershy... Nice to meet you..." The little thing hid behind its' pink hair, shying away from me and blushing adorably. I had to resist the urge to "d'awww" at the little creature. I re-slung my bow over my back and crouched down to bruch a little of the hair out of her face catching her attention. I smile gentilly, "Nice to meet you too, Fluttershy. Do you know of any good places to stay? Or perhaps... hey can we talk? I'd like to know some stuff, like what you are and where I am. Hehe, there's a first for everything, I guess." She looked at me slightly confused before nodding, "Oh yes, we can talk inside! It's getting a little chilly outside isn't it?" "I don't think so... but then again, I'm used to it so it might be," I jest lightly, I'm not very good at jokes... I think... I've never really tried... She lightly giggles, and I smile. Slightly out of knowing I can actually tell a joke, partially because it was nice to know something was not a threat. She turns and walks inside, gesturing to me to come in with her tail. I follow her in and pause, what's with all animals? "Take a seat," she says, gesturing to a really long chair. I sit down on it cautiously, and slowly relax into the seat, enjoying the softness. She turns around and begins to walk into another room, before calling over her shoulder, "I'm going to go get some tea prepared, it'll be just a second." I barely noticed, what was this thing made of? It was probably the softest thing I have ever felt, much nicer then the floor of the cave, or the wood we used to make just about everything. I begin to lose myself to the seat before I feel something poking me in the side. My eyes fly open, before I calm down to see a little rabbit poking me in the side. Rabbits were just about the only thing in the forest that weren't dangerous or poisonus, so we let them stay with us to keep them safe. I pet the little guy on the head and say, "what's up?" I regret doing that because now he begins to gesture about rapidly, and finally ending with a gesture to his stomach. Who knew rabbits were sentinent. I try to wrap my head around what he meant, but I couldn't, "um... I think your hungry because you pointed at your stomach, but I don't want to upset Fluttershy... so um... just let me clear this up. Trust me?" He looked at me warily, before reluctantly nodding. I focused my magic on the little bunny, and began to form a spell. Saying certain words under my breath, a light blue aura begins to surround the rabbit, he begins to squirm slightly, and I shake my head making him stop. The blue aura starts to fade, and I gasp when it stops, that spell took a lot out of me... After I caught my breath, I look back at the bunny, who was looking at his paws confused, "so... what was that?" He begins to do the complicated gestures again, but I stop him, "no, no, try and say it." He rolls his eyes, knowing it would just come out as a lot of squeaks, but he saw the large creature looking at him expectantly so he decided to give it a try, "well... Fluttershy missed my feeding time again, so I-" He was cut off by a loud crashing sound coming from the kitchen. We both looked over to the sound worried, and was surprised to see a shocked Fluttershy standing in a hole in the wall. With a large metal plate, slightly dented on the floor at her feet. Metal. Passing With Flying Colors"- and I don't want you to be doing any magic on my critters." "Yes, Fluttershy," I say flatly, for perhaps the thousandth time. "Ambrosius, are you paying attention?" "Yes, Fluttershy." "Well, good, because you should have known better, and asked permission first." "... Yes, Fluttershy..." "Well, I'm going into town, do you want to come with me? Angle?" "Yes, Flutte- Wait... what's a town?" Her question caught me off guard, I was mostly ignoring her and just saying yes to everything. Women like it when you say yes, so most of their questions should be answered positivily. Logic. "You'll find out when you get there, and there's no backing out, you already said you would." "I- bu- I-" tell her that I wasn't paying any attention to her, and face the evil lecture again... or just go... "Fine. But Angel is coming too." He turned to me, and before he could say anything I grabbed him and put him on my shoulder and ran out the door. Fluttershy ran after us, and caught up once I stopped. He glared at me, "get me down! I'm going home!" I put him down, but I had a plan, "Oh, and before you go, I heard some timberwolves calling and they might be close so watch out..." He rolled his eyes and made a dismissive gesture and started to hop away before Fluttershy got in his path, "ohhh, no. Your not going anywhere mister. Not with timberwolves on the loose, they might try and eat you!" I looked back at him, "so... you want that lift...?" He glared at me but accepted it anyways. ∂ Walking Down The Path ∂ Fluttershy and Angel were deep in conversation about... something, I didn't know what. He transfered himself to Fluttershys' back, and they were whispering. I didn't really care though, I was busy adoring the scenery. A group of... buildings, or whatever Fluttershy called them appeared in the scenery. I looked at them curiously, most of them were pink, purple, or white, and they looked so unnatural to me. I liked Fluttershys' home so much better, it looked like a home to me, but if these are what... what was it... ponies! live in, I guess I can't complain or it might offend them. As we approched the town, I noticed many of the ponies were giving my wary stares, some had fear, some had anger. I ignored all of them, and tried to focus on what Fluttershy was telling me. It was about her friends, so I wanted to make a good impression on them which ment 'pay attention to the nice pony. She'll tell you what to say.' I tried to commit everything to memory, but it was a lost cause as she began to go on and on about her friend Rainbow Dash, who was apperantly the fastest flier in Equestria. Apparently she had a thing for important people, or things that were 'awesome' as she put it. I see a rainbow blur coming at me from the left, the side Fluttershy was on, so I instictively dropped down into a crouching position, letting it zoom over me. I hear it go thump and hear it roll, so I chased after it to make sure the threat wouldn't hurt anyone. As I reached the attacker, it turned out to be a pony. Pulling my bow around I quickly notched an arrow, and pulled it out full draw. ∂ Rainbows Perspective ∂ I was flying around Ponyville, trying to find a good could to nap on, when I saw it. It was sneaking up next to Flutttershy, and probably trying to hurt her. I did the first thing I could think of, which was charge the beast head first to make sure it didn't hurt Fluttershy. I was flying as fast as I could to protect Fluttershy. Unfortunatly, the creature did something unexpected. It ducked. I want flying, head over hooves for about ten feet. As I came skidding to a stop, I was barely concious. I barely noticed when the creature walked out infront of me, or when he notched the arrow... wait... notched the arrow!? ∂ Ambrosius's Perspective ∂ I heard the pony gasp, and I quickly pointed the arrow at it's face, only three or so inches away from its' nose. I lookeed the pony over once. Rainbow mane... cyan coat... and a lighting bolt... butt tattoo... fuck, Rainbow Dash... "Ambrosius! Stop!" I wince instinctivly, and let the bowstring loosen and take out the arrow, replace it in my quiver then sling the bow back across my back. I hold my hand out to the injured pony and say, "I'm sorry, I thought you were going to try and hurt Fluttershy. Now, that that confusion is cleared up, let's start over. I'm Ambrosius, and you must be Rainbow Dash. I've heard a lot about you from your friend... fastest flyer, eh?" I saw her chest swell, "Yeah that's me! Equestria's fastest flyer!" I laugh, "well my titles are much more impressive..." She glares at me, "oh really? what are they?" her voice was a mixture of indignation, anger and mockery with just a little... insecurity? "Prince, Hydra Slayer, Timbers' Bane, Invinsible... other stuff too... Oh! And my name is the same as an group of warriors who were undefeatable. Just sayin.'" I say simply, and laugh at her gaping face. She furrows her brows, "well how can I be tell that your not lying?" "Hydra skin clothes? Bu-" "RRRAAWWWRRRRR!!!" I spun around and face a medium sized hydra, with only the heads. I turned and smirked at Rainbow, before running at the beast. Friends and Foes"Hey! Ugly!" I yelled at the hydra as it turned to me, "Yeah I'm talking to you!" It growls, and I loose an arrow at it, missing the eye, but hitting it in the head causing a little bit of pain. That just made it madder and made it want to kill me more. I drew another arrow and pulled beck the bow, but the hydra lunged at me, making me dive to the side to keep myself from dying. I landed on my back, knocking the wind out of me, and making me loose my grip on my arrow. The arrow sailed away, landing with a soft thump in the dirt. One of the other heads lunged at me while the other was recovering, forcing me to move. I rolled to the left, away from the the other of the two heads. It missed by inches, and I could smell its' rancid breath. I growled and pushed myself up before any of the heads could attack again. Unfortunatly, this hydra seemed to be smarter then most of the others, and spun around, whacking me with its' tail. The attack sent me flying into one of the buildings, breaking down one of the walls. I struggle to stay concious, the pain was extreme and being shoveled at me by the ton. Fighting off the sweet release of unconciousness, I push myself up to see the hydra trying to eat some of the ponies. Just a hint of red... The pain dulled slightly as my anger began to grow. Red around the edges... Smash! It destroyed one of the houses, and my eyes began to glow. All red. "NO!" I screeched, catching the attention of the beast. As soon as it began to turn I shot an arrow straight through its' eye tearing into its' brain. It roared in rage and pain, and I smiled maliciously it was music to my ears... The hydra charged me, opening up to another attack as I killed the head on the right, leaving only the middle one. It stopped its' charge and looked at me fearfully. It took me a moment to realize that there was black energy flowing between us, and it looked like the energy was pouring into me... "GAAAHHH!" I scream in pain as the energy thread suddenly snapped. I blacked out. ∂ At The Hospital ∂ "Ugh, my head! What happened!" I wince as I yelled, the noise hurt my head. I saw Fluttershy clinging to the edge of her chair, terrified. I look at her and say, "what's wrong?" She passed me a mirror, and I gasped, my iris of my left eye red instead of the usual blue. 'Hello... It's nice to finally meet you, Ambrosius. As of now I am just a piece of your conscious, so you may comunicate with me through your head... so we don't disturb poor Fluttershy... My name is Zek. I need to talk to you about some things... later though, later...' The voice sounded tired and weak. It was slightly scratchy and needed to make pauses often as if it needed to catch it's breath. I guess it really was 'submerged in my subconcious'... The voice faded from my conciousness, and left me holding the mirror, looking at the reflection of my one red eye. Fluttershy shivered, "it's really disturbing, isn't it," I ignored the possible offenciveness in that comment due to the trueness, "it's almost like it belongs on something else... anyways, there is something that is good that came from ths whole incedent..." She gestured to a silver lump on a nearby chair that resembled... a dragon!? I lean over to Fluttershy and whisper to her, "you call that good!? It's a dragon! They will kill ponies!" She rolled her eyes, "you could, but do you? How do you know she will?" I huffed, "I don't trust her. She's a dragon, they deserve to die." Fluttershy glared at me, and it instantly shattered all resistance in me, leaving me fearing the powerful teal eyes. When she spoke again her voice was full of anger, "you will give her a chance," she said through gritted teeth, "and you will never. Ever. Say that something just deserves to die because of what they are. Got it?" I nodded hastily, trying to get her to stop scaring me. I've looked a hydra in all three of its' hideous heads and it's still not as scary as this pony. Yeah, life works like that, I think it just likes to fuck with us. She nods in a 'you bet your ass' sort of way, and turns around and scoops up the unconcious (sleeping?) dragon. She paused and turned again, "oh, and do try and get some sleep, my friends will be by later and they'll want you to be able to answer most if not all of their questions. I know they will be curious about you..." She looked at me with a slightly worried expression, and I tried to give her a ressuring nod. It might not have worked because I was still recovering from her horrid eyes, the crystal clear teal eyes... *shiver* "don't worry, I'll be sure to cooperate." "Oh, and do try to almost die less, please?" I roll my eyes and nod once and she smiles. I hear the door click, and I roll over to sleep. I close my eyes and try to remember the fight with the hydra from earlier today, but it's hazy, as if it happened years in the past... I slowly succumb to sleep ignoring the thought. ∂ Dream World ∂ I blink in confusion, this wasn't my normal dream. My surrounding area was all grey, a charcoal grey and I was floating. I was starting to wish for ground, the floating became a little much, and a patch of grass quickly expands under my feet. Surprised, I touched down. I looked up and thought that the sky was wrong (it was fucking grey) so I willed it to be blue. And there was blue. Only blue, so I put a moon in the sky, making the world proper, and darkened all the colors so it looked like it was the night. I nodded in approval, giving the world another once over. Blank. There was no hills, trees, or even clouds. I struck a heroic pose, "this shall not stand!" I focused and I created trees all around me, leaving me in a large, flat clearing in the middle of a forest. I smile at my success, and add a few flowers along the edges, making sure they weren't poisonus. I sink the ground and fill the depression in with water leaving a little pool filled with crystal clear water. I line the bottom with river stones and add a few fish. I look around and nothing seems to be out of place, so I stretch out on the ground. With a content sigh, I close my eyes. "Hey buddy, time to get up," a voice said to me, it sounded familiar... I sigh sadly, and flick open my eyelids. I look towards the owner of the voice, and I jolt in surprise. It was me, just different. His muscles were fuller, his black hair was a little longer and he was just a little taller then me, about six feet tall. His eyes were red. He extends a hand and I take it, and he helps me up. I was suspitious of him so I ask, "what are you doing here? Who are you?" He just smiles and says, "I'm Zek, and as for what I'm doing here, I'm part of your mind, it's kinda part of my job to be in your dreams. I also want to train you in swordsmanship, and this way it won't be possible for you to die." Oh, okay, I get it, part of my brain wanted to train me in the proper method of swinging a sword and didn't want me dead, "wait, what?" Hospitalized"Just, just one more time? Please?" I ask again, extremely confused. He sighs and rubs his temples, "ugh, okay, one more time. I am going to train you. Train. You. And we will be using normal blades for the best effect. If I was to do this with you in real life, you would be dead, but in your mind, you won't die, you'll just come back. Get it?" I nod slowly, barely understanding what he said. He smiles, and says, "we aren't going to be doing any training tonight, so you can ask me any questions you want, and I'll try to answer them." "So... how did you get to be... you?" "You mean how I took a physical form?" I nod, "well that's an easy question. Remember the battle with the hydra, the one that just took place? Remember the energy flowing between us, how your eyes turned red? That was me. I was always with you, I could only come out during your weakest moments though, when you were in a rage and your will was focused on killing. I sucked the energy from the hydra- or dragon really, making it lose it's 'monster' form and go back to it's dragon stage, and that energy is part of me, making it so I'm able to talk with you when you sleep." I furrow my brow, "so you can just suck the energy out of anything? Or just certain creatures?" "Just certain creatures, only those from the forest because their magical pattern match mine, and- shoot you have to get up, Fluttershys' friends have arrived. We'll continue this next time." He disappered, and I saw the dreamscape fade away, until there was only that grey color. ∂ Back at The Hospital ∂ My eyes flutter open and I hear a doornob turn. I look towards the door, and I see eight ponies stream in, two of them I couldn't recognise from Fluttershys' discription of her friends, and the two were significantly taller then the others. The white one could have been as tall as me. A pink mare, Pinkie Pie I believe, jumped up and got in my face before spouting out, "HelloI'mPinkiePie!It'snicetomeetyou,IalreadyknowyournammebecauseFluttershytoldme!*gasp*Ihavetothrowyouaparty!ByebyeI'mgonnagogetitsetup!" She dashed off at super-sonic speeds, leaving only a cloud of dust in her wake. Twilight sighed, "I'm sorry that's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie. Anyways I'm Twilight, nice to meet you..." Taking the hint I introduce myself, "Ambrosius, I already know all your names, Fluttershy told me all about you. Except, the taller ponies, I don't know your names..." The white one says, "I'm Princess of the Day, Celestia, and this is my little sister, Princess of the Night, Luna. Pleasure meeting you." I smile, "nice meeting you two," I turn towards the ponies, "I'm sure you all have many questions, I'll answer them in just a second." I get out of the bed, wincing slightly as I put weight on my ankle, probably pulled or twisted. I stretch out and take note of any badly hurting places. I spark up a small blue flame and wash my wounds with it, healing them. Satisfied, I stretch poping my back and neck. I smile, "now where were we? I laugh at their shocked faces, before Twilight says, "you can do magic!?" "Yup." Rainbow looked up, "is that how you killed the hydra?" "Nope, I have no idea how that happened." Luna spoke up, her voice was full of disbelief, "so you have no idea how you killed a HYRDA?" "Well, I have some theories, the most prominent is I just sucked out all the corrupting magic of the forest. That one makes the most sense to me because the hydra turned into a dragon so a dragon is the base creature and the magic of the forest is what corrupted it." Twilight looked wierd, "that makes... sense. How could you have thought of that, in a few moments when everypony has been working on what causes the creatures of the Everfree to be so unique and dangerous." "Logic, data, and human ingenuty, add it together and anythings possible." The crowd was unsettled, swapping glances and shifing their hooves. "Oh, and would now be a good time for me to bring up that I'm a prince...?" Blink. Blink. Uh-Oh

I also want to train you in swordsmanship, and this way it won't be possible for you to die." Oh, okay, I get it, part of my brain wanted to train me in the proper method of swinging a sword and didn't want me dead, "wait, what?"
Hospitalized"Just, just one more time? Blink. Uh-Oh
