//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria's Humans -by LunarXGuardian- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Equestria's HumansLunarXGuardian Humans and ponies lived together throughout Equestria for as long as anyone of them could remember. They came to be co-existent with each other, and learn to accept their differences. However, over time, humans grew increasingly jealous, because the ponies could fly with their wings, and use magic with their horns. Humans tried and tried again to figure out ways to do these things that seemed so easy for the ponies, but failed each time. After years of hard work and failure, one human had enough of it. He did something that nobody would ever dare to do, pure ambition fueling him. He kidnapped a pegasus. The human tortured the pony, and in the end, the human got what he wanted.  The pegasus told him the secrets of flying. The human set out to put a his kind in the sky, and sure enough, after a couple of years, he had made the first plane. The human was made famous world-wide, and everybody celebrated. The ponies, however, were completely thrown off by this sudden discovery. The ruler of Equestria, had even been angry. She had seen the humans skill at war firsthand, and she wanted them to evolve to be different. She did her best to hide the secrets of flying and magic so they could not enhance their destructive abilities. So you can imagine how shocked, and angry, she was when she figured out how they got it. Shortly after the plane was made, the kidnapped pegasus escaped, and told all the ponies what had happened. The humans now had blood on their hands, but they did not care. Ever since that human, who proclaimed himself John Tenebris, had built the first plane, the humans had seen that the ponies were just as smart as them. They had just gotten a head start. From then on, the humans tried to outdo the ponies, using technology in every way possible. They knew that having the ability to fly had caused them to advance even more. They made weapons, they made armour, and even more importantly, they had ambition. Ponies did not need so much technology. It would have been nice, but they had their magic. Humans, discovering gems that the ponies tried to keep secret, had built even more complex machines and devices, aiding them in their evolution. More importantly, aiding them in weapon evolution. By now, the pony's leader had decided to heighten her defences. She could not let the humans discover any more. She knew that if they continued to advance, conflict would ensue. She also decided to ready her soldiers, just in case. Humans and ponies grew apart, hating each other, their mistrust being used as a match for the bridges that were inevitably going to burn. Years of living in harmony, gone in a flash. As they advanced, it was clear that they were still at a disadvantage. The ponies still had their magic, and could do things humans could not even dream of. Once they finally got it, everyone celebrated. The discoverer, was Shadow Tenebris, the son of the creator of the first plane. He was seen as a hero, and even was made the leader of their military. Although he gave minor powers to everyone, his magical secrets rivaled the powers of pony's leader. Now that their arsenal was completed, all they needed was a reason to attack. Not wanting to look like the bad guys in history, they waited for something to threaten them. They had magic, they had the power of flight, and they had their ambition. What they wanted, was a fight. Now, all they had to do, was wait. That's when Nightmare Moon attacked. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Equestria's Humans Chapter 1 The moon had been in the same place in the sky for a week now, reluctant to move, making this half of the earth, frighteningly cold. If you looked at the group of men, you could see their guns were shaking heavily. It was cold, dark, and this group hardly had any experience. The men all looked up every once in a while, looking terribly nervous. Human belief was that death should be greeted by the sun shining down on them, glad that their soul was free. This never-ending night had been torturous to them. "Men, calm down. We have only ten minutes to go," Shadow said, "Don't be so nervous." "General Tenebris, how do you have such courage? Surely you have heard the rumors of this place," one soldier asked. It was true, the place they were going to invade had a record of ponies kidnapping people and torturing them and experimenting on them to learn human anatomy. Their unit had to sneak their way in, steal all the records, plant explosives, and make their way out. This place has done enough to human kind. "Yes," the Shadow replied, "But you don't have to worry about that. I'm the one who is sneaking in. You guys only have to plant the explosives on the support beams on the bottom floor. Nobody is gonna be there, thermal scans show only three entities in the building. I'll take them out, and were done." "Only three?" asked another soldier, "Scans show five now. The new ones are bigger than the others." "What? Let me see," Shadow approached the support soldier. "I see. Says that they are unicorn guards. Probably teleported in." The other three ponies were mares. Probably just doctors and a janitor. "Is it solar or lunar?" another soldier leaned in to look. "Can't tell. He has armour and..." the support soldier's voice trailed off, "That's..." The soldier looked scared for a moment in realization. "Forcannons," Shadow finished, "So royal guards, but what are they doing here?" Shadow pondered the thought for a moment, but was interrupted. "Uh, General? There's another figure that just teleported in, and this one is even bigger." the support soldier said. "So that's how it's goin down..." Shadow looked at his men, "How do you men feel about meeting royalty?" All the men looked shocked and speechless. "Don't worry, you guys will be far away," Shadow told them, "Speaking of which, it's time to go." Shadow got up and looked around before noticing the soldiers were still shocked. All of them were reluctant to get up. "Come on guys, you won't even see them." Shadow reassured. At his words, the men slowly got up, and got ready. "Explosives are go," said a soldier. "Thermal still active," the support soldier motioned to his computer. Shadow checked his ear piece, "Coms go. Alright, lets do this. Deactivate cameras." "Cameras down," he heard in his ear. Shadow emerged from the deep ditch and lead the group to the back door of the facility.
