The sun shone brightly, a swift breeze began to pick up and flowers bent as the flash of a scooter zoomed by.

A young filly zoomed along the path that she'd worn her tracks into many times over. Many times she would just scoot by like normal, watching the scenery move by slowly.

But today, she seemed to be in a bit of a hurry as she scooted along.

I've got to grab that and then go! She shouted mentally.

As she began to argue with herself in her head, she didn't look where she was going and made her scooter flip over; causing her to fly straight into a wall.

As she shook her head of the stars swimming through her vision, she heard a faint voice calling her name.

"Scootaloo?!" The voice cried.

"Huh?" She grunted as she heaved herself off the dusty ground.

"Are you hurt, dearest?" The female began to fuss with Scoots mane, only to get her hoof knocked away from the purple strands.

"Mom! Stop fussing!" Scootaloo jumped up and pushed her worrying mother out of the way, anxious to get inside and go.

"But Scootaloo..." Her mother pouted playfully.

"Sorry, Mom, but...I've got somewhere to be." She called over her shoulder as she galloped up the steps and grabed her saddle bag, already filled with what she needed.
