I was running from my pursuers as a branch hit my mask it chipped of a small piece but i didn’t pay much mind to it as I found a small opening i saw a glow it was purple i stood there in shock as the glow came from no where
as i looked back i saw him as i ran passed the glow i was only a few inches away from the log when I tried to vault over it something exploded and received a force push from the star wars movies itself and got impaled on a small branch and getting a few scrapes and bruises but that doesn't compare the amount of pain i got
as i screamed in pain then the the purple glow was getting brighter but again not paying it any attention to it but in that purple glow i saw a dark red going down the branch the only thought that ran through my head was
“i had to get out but how”
as quickly i took off my bag i looked around in it as fast as i can i just needed something to cut the branch or at least weaken it
it as i looked up i saw him there were two of them but thankfully he was few miles away as I found my hatchet not in but out of my bag it was only
a few inches away I desperately tried to reach it I was successful as I was hitting the branch as hard as my weak hands can handle I knew i weakened it because i heard a crack.
when I struggled to move it was getting less sturdier it snapped as I got up I was getting weaker probably from blood loss I fell of the log i winced in pain and got up and held my wound and looked back at him and putting my bag back on he got closer as I stepped back I finally remember the explosion I wasn't given enough time to look at the glow as i tripped on a rock as i fell into the unknown as darkness was surrounding my vision
I heard a soul piercing scream.
when I woke up i felt ... I don't know how to describe it I lay there in the grass I still had my eyes closed
I moved my fingers luckily there are still there I moved both of my feet again there still there also my toes are still intact I felt the rest of my body and I had all my body parts
but when I touched my right side I felt some thing and then I suddenly snapped open my eyes as I remembered that night I got up to my hands and knees I quickly looked around no sign of life I attempted to get on my feet I quickly fell down to my hand and knees. in pain I sort of held my wound because of the small stick I Looked at my hand it was covered in blood I crawled/dragged myself too a nearby tree the tree was pretty helpful it got me to my feet sort of I leaned against the tree taking of my pack looking inside of it I found some bandages but that wont do .
"I need to find the nearest town " I said out loud I finally realized I didn't have my mask on my eyes widened of the realization I quickly looked around I saw it face down I limped too it as fast as I can so no one would see my face I got too it picking it up and examining it I saw a small chip but I didn't care I put it back on adjusting it so it feel more comfortable looking thru the see thru fabric putting my hood on I looked at the sun it was near the end of the mountain It was probably 3 am or 4 am
I looked at my bag near the tree I unzipped it the 3rd time this day I look in it I found my sisters ipod touch and a set of head phones I turned it on and plugged in the head phones leaving one out of a ear and played my favorite songs
I snagged one thing from my home to remember my family by like my parents a picture my older sister one of her anime style drawings she really loved anime actually her room is full of anime posters she would've been a good artist actually anyways the drawing was a self portrait
I looked at my parents picture all I said was "why" I put the picture back into my bag and limped north.
what felt like eternity I kept walking/limp north this wasn't the first time I've been in a unknown environment it actually been the ... umm hmm I lost count any ways while ezio's family from ac2 was playing I looked in front of me was a cliff if mom was here she would say be careful even though I had experience anyway I was at the cliff the sight was beautiful and the music was just right for this moment I looked down I saw sharp spikes coming out of the ground and it was a long drop
this reminded me of that my cousin was driving the quad around we would usually have adventures we would go up hills some are steep so we would have to go up by foot our legs would hurt when we got up but It was worth it like this one it was beautiful I miss those days now im switched to this life but beggars cant be choosers as I examined the ground under me I can almost see a small town I sighed in relief but the realize i have to find a way down “well crap” all I said as i looked around looking for a stick a long stick a walking stick for a long journey.
