The year is 4065, and the beings of Equestria have adapted to become the most advanced species in the Galaxy. Meteors rain from the heavens, tearing apart the world. Along with the meteors, came a dormant virus, awoken from the impact. Corpses are returning to life, and killing off the population. Desperate to save the mane six, Celestia puts them all in Cryosleep for two thousand years. The ponies flee to the stars, and Celestia destroys the sun, sending the planet to drift off into space.

Two thousand years later, a group of scientists, led by a government project known only as ERaDI, find eight Cryo-pods. The Mane Six, and others, awaken to find Celestia has perished, Equestria is gone, and they have to return to the frozen planet, to save the quickly dying race of ponies.

But, what will they find sleeping beneath the icy layers of a land they once called home…?
