Chapter 2: The End of the Knight in Shining Armor

Cadence was headed to the other side of the castle to find Twilight, Flash Sentry, and her friends, still shocked at what she had just saw.

==With Twilight Sparkle, Flash Sentry & The Mane 6==

"I still can't believe we are getting married Flash, the way we met was just so weird." said Twilight.

"I'm still a bit shocked to hear about the other world and how things happened over there." said Flash Sentry.

"Yeah, It was interesting but that's what led to me beginning to talk to you more. I'm glad that it did happen now, you're an amazing pony. I'm happy to know I get to spend the rest of my days with you." said Twilight.

"Same for you Twilight, my name may be Flash Sentry, but your Faster than a Flash, and stronger than a Sentry, yes I know terrible joke/comparison" said Flash Sentry, laughing.

"Yeah, that was pretty bad but I'm not gonna hold it against you." said Twilight, also laughing.

Twilight and Sentry kissed after that.

"They look so cuute together" said Rarity, cooing.

"I'm not one for mushy sentiments like this but ah think that they look cute together as well" said Applejack.

"I'm not one for these kinds of things either, all of you know that." said Rainbow Dash, bored.

"Isn't it adorable though? I think its very cute that Twilight finally has someone like Flash. I think that he will treat her well. I wish I had somepony like him though." said Fluttershy.

"Why are you guys so low on energy? This is awesome! Twilight is getting married and we get to be a part of it! I don't understand how you guys can be such sourpusses about it! If not told by Celestia, as well as Twilight herself not to throw it, I'd throw an epic party right now! Lighten up girls!" exclaimed Pinkie Pie, now jumping up and down non-stop.

"This is gonna be ah long day...." Applejack said, annoyed.

"TWILIGHT!!!!!" , a voice yelled.

Everyone looked over to their left.

"Cadence? What are you doing here? I thought you and Shining were with the other princesses." Twilight said, confused.

"I was, but there is trouble, you must come at once. It is crucial!" Cadence said, in a very worried tone.

"Ok ok, lets go everypony, we have to see what is going on." said Twilight, in a firm tone.

"Finally, some action!" , Rainbow Dash said happily.

"Uhh... I'll just stay here, where it's safe." Fluttershy quietly said.

"Ooh. Should be interesting" said Pinkie Pie

"Ugh... what could be so important that we have to go somewhere else when Twilight is getting ready to get married?" asked Rarity, in a disgusted tone.

"Sugarcube, im sure whatever it is has to be very important, why else would Cadence come runnin down here an interrupt everypony?" asked Applejack, the question directed at Rarity.

"Nothing." Rarity replied.

"Whatever." Applejack said to Rarity.

"ENOUGH ARGUING ALREADY!, WE MUST GO NOW!" , yelled Cadence.

They all took this as a reason to get going immediately.

==With Shining Armor==

"You won't cause any havoc. Not again!" Shining yelled.

"Oh, but you're wrong" a voice said.

"You nearly destroyed Canterlot during my wedding with Cadence, I won't allow you to do the same here, Chrysalis!"  yelled Shining, getting ready to fight if he had to.

"You're seriously going to try and fight me? I defeated Celestia for ponies sake. Alone you have absolutely no chance, you fool." , mocked Chrysalis.

"I will do what I must. I will not allow you to ruin the happiest moment of my sister's life." said Shining.

"Very well, its your wish to die." said Chrysalis.

Chrysalis charged at Shining, who tried to teleport but his magic didn't work.

"W-w-w-what?? My magic, why isn't it working??" Shining asked, panicking.

"You think I'm stupid? I brought some help with me." said Chrysalis, stopping in her tracks momentarily.

"Who would help somepony like you?" asked Shining.

"I am a queen after all, I thought I needed a king..."

Shining's jaw dropped when he realized what she meant.

"B-b-b-ut that's impossible..." Shining said, in a shocked tone.

"Oh but it isn't." a voice boomed.

"Not you... It can't be. You died!" Shining yelled.

"That's what you think, but I simply faded away in the shadows like before." the voice boomed again, beginning to laugh maniacally.

"Sombra...." Shining said, weakly.

"Now my dear, now that you've met my king, it's time to die." mocked Chrysalis.

Shining tried to move but he couldn't, he looked down and his jaw dropped.

"My legs....." Shining said, in horror.

"You aren't going anywhere. Once you are gone, taking over the Crystal Empire will be easy, your wife, the crystal princess, is powerless without you, if you leave her, she will never recover, so I've made sure this is your final stand, Shining Armor. Your legs are trapped in my crystals, and you can't use magic to break them." said Sombra, laughing maniacally.

"Twilight.... Cadence... I'm sorry." Shining said, tears forming in his eyes.

When he finished his sentence, Chrysalis pierced his heart with her horn, killing him instantly.

Blood went everywhere when Sombra then used his dark crystals to crush Shining's legs.

The King and Queen laughed together and the next second, they were gone.

==With Luna==

Luna felt a shockwave. She began to tear up because she knew what this shock meant.

"The Knight in Shining Armor has fallen....." Luna said, crying.

==With Celestia and Discord==

"Ow!" Celestia said.

"Celestia, what's wrong?" Discord asked.

"It wasn't pain. It was a feeling of loss." Celestia stated, beginning to tear up.

"What has happened Celestia?" Discord asked, very worried.

"Shining Armor has been killed." Celestia said.

"You had better use your magic to keep Cadence from feeling this." Discord said.

"I will, I'm glad that Twilight has not been an alicorn long enough to feel the death of a close one." said Celestia, crying.

"I am as well, Celestia. But when do we tell them?" Discord asked, with a hint of concern.

"I don't know..." Celestia said weakly.

"I was afraid you'd say that." Discord said, now finally crying.
