He was awful to his subjects and to his only daughter Cherry Bloom. Cherry was the kindest pegusus any of the ponies could know, she helped with chores, snuck food to them, and even stood up to her father for them. One day sombra decided he had enough of his daughters disobedience and sentenced her to the dungeon to be tortured until she had been turned evil. She was locked up and tortured for one year until she unleashed her inner demon to escape. Her hair the color of a ripe cherry turned to red ambers and spiked fire. Her fur the color of a calm medow turned into a bright orange that could light any room even without a light source. Her beautiful wings turned to point like swords and her mouth grew fangs. She grew two horns the color of cherries but the scariest transformation was, her eyes. Once calm and reasuring had turned red and looked as if they burned in her eyes sockets. She rode on fire to the tower of her father and stared him down. "Father I stand for my people and the freedom they deserve. I shall be the ruler from now forth!" She yelled at him as her eyes glowed," I am light!" She burst into flames as her eyes glowed a pure glow and her horns hummed summoning a sword of fire and light. She extended her wings into an attack possition and looked at her father. "Tis a shame." He laughed as he got up,"you would have made a fine heir to my throne little demon, but now I shall regret killing you" he created a new sword of darkness and crystals then lunged towards cherry. "You shall regret nothing! " she yelled as she lunged as well towards him. The battle was one no one had ever seen, a ball if pure light burned against a ball of darkness. The towns people were scared as of what was going on at first until they saw what was inside in the balls. The darkness contained a horribly cut sombra whos eyes glowed with evil, while the pure light was the princess who always stood up for them bleeding with many cuts all over her. "One blow for darkness!" Sombra yelled as he plunged his sword into Cherry's chest. Suddenly her light started to fade and she started falling out of the sky. "Princess! " all the ponies screamed. They all started praying with all their might to the two rulers of Equestria. Then two more balls of light appeared, one of yellow and one of dark blue. The blue one caught the falling princess as the yellow one proclaimed,"Sombra, your crimes against ponies is unacceptable, you are hear by banished in the name if the sun!" A magnificent glow of the yellow princesses horn hit sombra right in his chest as he screamed from pain. "And in the name of night!" The dark blue pony yelled as she hit her magic in the same spot as the yellow pony. Sombra screamed and the ponies watched as he turned into only a small black cloud which escaped into the barren winter waist land next to the kingdom. Then they saw the blue pony start to pick up their princess and started to get worried. The male unicorns cast a shield over her as the villagers started to surround and protect her. "No harm shall come to our princess. She has risked her life for us." A little unicorn colt yelled at the two princesses. The older of the two laughed. "We shall not hurt your princess. We are the two rulers of Equestria, I am Celestia and this is my younger sister Luna. We are here to heal her." The ponies all looked astonished by this then slowly made a path for the two. Cherry was still in her demon form with the sword still in her chest. She was shivering and gasping for air as the two reached her. "Has...has he been vanquished..." Cherry whispered in a weak voice. "Yes, he is no more." Luna said. "My people... are they safe?" She asked looking at them. "We shall keep watch over them, they shall be forever safe." Celestia said. "Th...thank you." Cherry said softly as she laid her head on the table she was placed on. The ponies watched as she started breathing less and less until all was silent.Cherry bloom had died. "NOOO!" A mare screamed."SHE CANT! We have to save her!" All the ponies started crying and screaming. "You all can still save her." Luna said with tears in her own eyes. "You all must give you love for her, now! She doesn't have much time!" Luna exclaimed. One by one all the ponies started crying," We love you princess Cherry! Come back!" Tears streaming down all of their cheeks. Suddenly a light burst from the wound where the sword was and the sword vaporized. The ponies looked as the corpse of their princess rose off the table and into the air being surrounded by a ball of light.In a matter if moments princess Cherry's hair was alive with flames and her eyes filled with light.On her side a cutie mark of a light sword in flames appeared and the princess let out a yell. "My people shall not suffer again!" Cheers rang out everywhere as the two other princesses came up to join her. "From today forth, you shall be the ruler of this land and forever have the name, Princess Blaze. The light of purness for all to follow!" Celestia exclaimed.The chears grew louder as the princess came to earth. "We shall put your kingdom under a protection spell, we need you to keep watch over them and protect them from whatever foes may come. You are their light, show them the path to freedom." Luna whispered to Blaze. From then on blaze protected her kingdom and married her king, they even had a daughter named Miamore Credenza, but everyone called her Cadence. They sent her to Canterlot to be raised by the princesses as the two rulers watched their kingdom. Ponies say she's still out there, even after the last battle of the Crystal Empire.She's just back to cherry bloom now and teaches flying to the young pegusi.But she still watches over her kingdom, waiting for her father to return once more.
