//-------------------------------------------------------// DBZ the Pony assistance -by Colonel J- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// This should be interesting (REVISED) //-------------------------------------------------------// This should be interesting (REVISED) Okay this chapter is just broken. I revised it and now the lines don't want to stay in place, they're broken up in some places and I can't seem to fix it. Our story begins as any good story should, with a nice calm day among a group of friends. The friends I’m referring to of course are the ponies of ponyville. The day begins with everyone having a pet get together at the park. The sun was shining with not a cloud in the sky, a certain Pegasus made sure of that. The day couldn’t have been better. “Winona looks great today.” Fluttershy said in her usual quiet voice. “Thanks, angels lookin’ happier than usual, somthin' different with him?” Applejack asked in her usual country accent. “Oh yes, I’m poofing his tail more often and I got him a new kind of...” Fluttershy was cut off by a sharp crack of thunder along with dark clouds filling the sky...strange, what happened to that beautiful day? These clouds had a mysterious presence to them, for not knowing that in another universe a fierce battle was taking place, one that would determine the fate of the Earth. The Cell Games. With only Goku and Vegeta standing between Cell and the destruction of the Earth, their chances of winning were slim and they could hardly keep up with the android created by Dr. Gero. As the battle raged the Earth shook with each blow they dealt, the two saiyan warriors growing weaker with every second.                                                                                                    Meanwhile on the Kai world, the supreme Kai and elder Kai could sense the buildup of energy coming from earth. “Hmm...Can you sense that?” asked the old Kai. “....Yes, and I fear that if they are not careful they could easily destroy the Earth.” Replied the supreme Kai staring intensely at his crystal ball. “I also fear that we may have to intervene” he added. “You know it is not our place.” the old Kai lectured. “If so then why are we known as the universes overseers?” demanded the supreme Kai. “Exactly, overseers. You really need to calm down. Here, have a magazine.” the old Kai said while flipping through a few. But the supreme Kai returned to his crystal ball, carfully watching the situation unfold.                                                                                              Goku and Vegeta were on their last bit of energy and Vegeta could hardly stand. Cell stood off from and smiled at their lack of power. “K...Kakarot...” Vegeta groaned. “How do you think...we should continue this?” “I’m not quite sure...I haven’t thought that far ahead yet.” Goku replied. “Er...typical you, Kakarot.” Vegeta slightly laughed. “Well I have enjoyed our little game but alas, all good things must come to an end...Too bad... I really expected more from you two.” Cell said with an evil laugh. “I know exactly what to do, I’ll destroy you both with a single blast!” Cell yelled while still laughing and with an out stretched hand “Oh and don’t worry I won’t destroy the Earth just yet, there’s still lots of people left to kill and I love the look they get on their faces, that look of fear.” Cell charged his blast pointed at our two heroes with this, they realized they just weren’t strong enough to defeat him, and Cell yelled out, “You see...the look on your faces, that’s the one I’m talking about!...Now say goodbye!" As Cells destructive blast of energy headed down range towards the two brave warriors all time seemed to of slowed down. The look of fear and failure on the Earths last heroes faces and the look of pride and joy on Cells. But, at the last split second supreme Kai appeared using an old favorite, Instant Transmission. And grabbed both Vegeta and Goku just in time to do a jump back to the Kai world. The force of the explosion from Cells blast however, caught supreme kai off guard which caused him to lose his grip during transport and drop our heroes in a different universe. “Darn...” He said angrily upon returning to the Kai world. "I lost them!" “Now what’d I say about interfering..." the old Kai was looking up from his stash of magazines. "I know, but ancestor they needed our help!" The old Kai thought this over in his head, "By the way, I’m just curious, but where did you drop them?” asked the Old Kai. “They fell into one of the universes where we can’t travel to.” answered the Supreme Kai with remorse. The old Kai turned back to his magazines, “Hmm...Then they’ll just have to find their own way out. They’re smarter then they seem you know.” mumbled the Old Kai.                                                                                                    Back in ponyville the six friends were admiring the strange clouds that seemed to come from nowhere when a bright flash of light over took them. The light disappeared as something seemed to crash into the ground not too far from where they were. As the ponies investigated the area, they found two beings that were far different than anything they’d seen before. “Uh, Fluttershy, what are these creatures?” asked Rainbow Dash. “I’m not sure, they’re like nothing I’ve ever seen before...although...they seem to remind me of a type of monkey.” responded Fluttershy scratching her head. “Well whatever they are they seem hurt, come on we have to help them.” Twilight began to move closer to them and use her magic to investigate their wounds. “What about those clouds?” asked Dash pointing towards the disappearing cloud bank. “We can’t worry about that now.” replied Twilight. "Their injuries are pretty severe." Later after the ponies finished patching up our heroes at the library, Twilight began looking through her books to find an answer to all this, but found nothing, not a shred of information on the strange creatures. Just as closed her last book they began to wake up, maybe they would get some answers now. “...Cell...” groaned Vegeta fiercely as he sat up only to find a pink pony staring him in the face. “Hi! I’m Pinkie Pie, what’s your name?” Pinkie Pie said right in his face. "What is this...a pink horse, that smells like cotton candy...that can talk!" Vegeta thought while not moving. “Well, what’s your name!?” asked Pinkie Pie again. He responded with a bit of hesitation, “Vegeta.” “Vegeta! Wow what an interesting name, like vegetable but shorter!” yelled Pinkie Pie. “Uh, Pinkie I think your scarin' him.” said Applejack. “You can talk too?” Vegeta thought out loud this time. “Well yea, we can all talk.” said Applejack. Vegeta examined Applejack quickly then asked, “Where’s Kakarot?” “If you’re talking about your friend, he’s over there.” replied Applejack pointing across the room. As Vegeta looked over he could see Goku getting up, but with a better welcome then what he had. “Are you alright?” asked Rarity. “Uhm, I think...” Goku said as he looked up at Rarity. “you’re a horse?” he continued with a slight smile. “Well the correct term is pony, I don’t prefer to be called a horse.” said Rarity. Goku looked over at Vegeta, “Vegeta, you’re seeing this too right?” “Yes but I’m not quite sure what to make of it or where we are.” Vegeta replied. “I can answer that.” Twilight said confidently. “You’re in Equestria.” “What’s that?” Goku asked while standing up. “Didn’t you hear..the..um...pony. They call this place Equestria.” Vegeta said while also getting to his feet. “Yes, now could you tell me who and what you are?” asked Twilight. “Sure, I’m Goku and this is Vegeta, we’re saiyans from Earth.” replied Goku. “Hmm...saiyan, saiyan...that starts with an S, let’s see...” Twilight said quietly looking back through her books. “Don’t mind her she’s a bit of an egghead, so why were you two so beat up?” Dash asked while admiring vegeta. “Er..Cell, what happened to cell?” Goku said as he started to recall his memory. “What’s Cell, does he look like you two?” asked Dash. “No, he’s horrible...just a monster.” replied Goku. “Oh my.” Fluttershy said in a quick quiet tone. “Yes, and I don’t understand how he’s become so powerful from absorbing that second android.” Vegeta said while walking over to Goku. “It doesn’t make sense, after my training in the hyperbolic time chamber he was nothing to me.” “Yeah, he was stronger than I expected him to be too.” There was a moments pause. “Darn it, if only I could have managed to push through to the next level of super saiyan. That form should have been more than enough to stop him...” Goku now noticed the stares coming from the ponies. “Well, that’s the craziest thing I’ve heard all week.” Applejack said giving them a confused look. “Sorry, I guess we should really explain this so you can understand.” said Goku. "But it's not a fun story." As our heroes explained the situation and used a senzu bean to fix themselves up faster, their story of loss and suffering took them into the night. Goku explained how they had prepared for Cell but were no match for him and they were the last alive of their friends. “And then we woke up here.” Goku said as he finished his story. “Wow so you guys can fly and blast things to pieces and I take it that your incredibly strong!” Dash said with excitement. “Yeah, pretty much.” Goku replied. “That’s so cool.” said Dash, “You know I’m the fastest flyer in Equestria, we should have a race sometime.” Twilight cut in, “That sort of magic must be really hard to do, I've never really heard of anything like that." “Oh no it’s not magic, it’s energy.” Goku explained. “I don’t understand.” Twilight replied. “What?” asked Goku. “Energy.” replied Twilight. “Well it’s basically your life energy, everyone has the ability to be like us.” said Goku. “Some are just weaker than the others.” Vegeta said with a slight laugh, “So what should we do now Kakarot?” “I don’t know...If only I could talk to the supreme Kai.” Goku was thinking out loud to himself. “Well what if you could, I just learned a communication spell which lets you talk to people far away.” interrupted Twilight. “Hmm, Do you think I could reach the another world?” Goku asked. “I don’t know, the book says all you have to do is stand near me and imagine the person you want to talk to and they should be able to hear you when you speak.” informed Twilight, "I'm not sure what the distance limit is." “Really? That sounds similar to what king Kai can do.” said Goku, “Alright let’s give it a try.” Goku moved over to Twilight and began to picture the supreme Kai as her lite up with a purple glow, “Hmm...supreme Kai...can you hear me, hello?” Goku started. “What? Goku is that you?” said the Kai. “Yeah, listen we don’t know where we are and Vegeta's looking a bit aggravated and...” Goku said until interrupted by Twilight. “Hurry please, this isn't easy!” she grunted. “Goku listen to me, I grabbed you and Vegeta before Cell was going to kill you, but the blast threw me off during transport. I can’t get you because it’s impossible to enter that universe using normal means. You must find a way out on your...” The supreme Kai was cut off by Twilight not having the strength to continue. “Wow, that was way harder to do than I thought it would be.” Twilight said trying to catch her breath. “Vegeta.” Goku held a serious look. “I heard.” said Vegeta, “And he shouldn’t have done that.” “What! Why not?” asked Goku. “Because a warrior who is weak enough to be killed in battle doesn’t deserve to live! That is why!” Vegeta yelled with clinched fists and scaring Fluttershy into a corner. “And I was in that position...” as Vegetas rage grew he stormed out of the library and flew off to the nearby mountains. “What’s eatin' him, shouldn’t he be happy to be alive?” Applejack asked looking over towards Goku. “Yes...But his pride demands more from him.” said Goku. “Do you feel the same way?” asked Twilight. Goku thought for a moment then smiled. “No, this gives me a chance to finish my training...and I know that’s exactly what vegeta’s going to do.” he replied. “Dear Celestia, look at the time." Twilight had said as she looked at the clock over her desk. "We've been up most of the night, you have to be tired, you can stay here if you want.” Twilight said as she stretched a leg. “Thanks. That fight took a lot out of me, and besides I need to do some thinking about Cell.” replied Goku. “But what about your friend, what’s he going to do?” Dash asked. “I’m not sure, but he’s done that before, so I know he’ll be fine.” replied Goku. “Alright then, everypony meet back here in the morning we’ll figure out a plan then.” Twilight said then shifted back to Goku, “your room is through there, it's always ready for someone who needs to stick around.” she said pointing to the next room. "What...a plan, I hope they know they can’t help us, and...everypony?."thought Goku walking into the next room. "Uh, Thanks. Again."                                                                                                    The next morning Goku woke up to a big breakfast that Twilight and Spike had fixed. Even though Spike did most of the work he liked to give Twilight a bit of the credit. Goku on the other hand didn't care who fixed it he just wanted to eat. “Oh man, this looks great and I’m starving!” Goku said holding back the urge to drool. As he went to sit down he heard a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Twilight said heading across the room. When she opened it Vegeta walked in not waiting to be invited. “Well, did the smell draw you in?” Twilight asked. “No...I’m simply here to talk to Kakarot.” replied Vegeta over his shoulder. “Do you ever have a good attitude, about anything?” Twilight said while rolling her eyes. “Kakarot stop stuffing your face and listen to me...” Vegeta was cut off due to his stomach growling and a fantastic smell of various muffins. “Alright, but are you sure you don’t want to try any of this first?” replied Goku with his mouth full of muffins. Vegeta hesitated but couldn't help himself, "I guess." he said as he took a seat at the table. After breakfast the two saiyans began to talk about their upcoming training, something of which Vegeta seemed more than happy to talk about. “And that’s why I think if we work together at least one of us will be able to achieve the second level.” said Vegeta “But I hardly have to ask, since you always want to work together.” Twilight had walked back in the house as she had stepped out only for a moment. “Wow I’ve never seen anypony eat that much food before” Twilight said with a slight laugh. “There’s that word again.” said Goku. “Any...Pony?” said a confused Vegeta. “Yeah, do you guys not say that where you come from.” said Twilight. “Well, we say anybody.” Goku said with a bit of a laugh. “Anybody, well that’s a strange one.” Twilight said. “Now Vegeta, how do you know your method will work?” asked Goku. With somewhat of a laugh, “It’s simple, we both keep fighting until one of us has no choice but to either pass out or ascend.” Vegeta replied. “Hm, sounds interesting. You're always trying to find a way to fight me aren't you.” Goku said with excitement just as Rarity burst through the door. “Stop! You simply cannot go around in those torn up rages of yours.” ordered Rarity, “That’s why I made you new suits.” “Oh wow mine looks great, thanks a lot.” Goku said looking over his suit which was identical to the one he was wearing. “Now Vegeta I hope you aren’t going to miss that thing on your chest I couldn’t get it quite right, other than that yours was just a piece of blue material.” said Rarity. “A horse that can sew...well now I’ve seen it all.” Vegeta said looking at his outfit. “I told you I’m a pony, it's pony, just remember that.” demanded Rarity. “We probably shouldn’t train in these since we’ll just ruin them.” Goku said looking towards Vegeta. “Agreed.” Vegeta said, “Come on, I saw a nice place in the mountains for us to train in.” “Wait! If you two go you won’t be here to help us with the plan!” yelled Twilight but it was too late as they already flew off towards the mountains. “Well great, how are we supposed to do this without them?" Twilight asked herself. As Twilight finished her statement Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy came into the library, “Where are they going in such a hurry?” asked Dash. “They said they were going to go train.” replied Twilight, “Whatever that means.” “Really...hey I think I’m going to go fly over there real quick to see how they train.” Dash said as she took off. “What! No, what about the plan!” Twilight yelled. “Can’t hear you...” Dash yelled back and was long gone now. “Great now what, and where’s Pinkie Pie and Applejack?” Twilight once again asked herself. Just as Twilight asked, Pinkie came prancing in with Applejack behind her. “Hey sorry I’m late but I was throwing a party!” Pinkie said with lots of energy in her voice. “Yeah and I had to almost tie her up to get her here.” Applejack said giving Pinkie a strange look. “A party for who?” asked Twilight. “Hmm, I guess for myself.” Pinkie said with a giggle. “Okay, well I guess making a plan is out of the question.” Twilight said with aggravation. "Why's that Twi?" "Because those two just flew off and Rainbow Dash followed them." Twilight said moving back towards her desk. “Well, we could wait for them to come back. I mean, they’ll get tired eventually. Right?” Applejack asked trying to ease the situation. “Right.” Twilight responded with disappointment. //-------------------------------------------------------// Vegeta makes a friend!? It's more likely than you'd think. //-------------------------------------------------------// Vegeta makes a friend!? It's more likely than you'd think. As the day progressed so did the two warriors training in the mountains. Each fighting at their maximum potential, giving it everything they had. They both would deal out massive amounts of damage that would put any human or pony down with ease. But over the course of this battle the two saiyans began to grow tired and out of breath. "What's..wrong.Vegeta...Can't continue?" Goku manage to ask in between breaths. "I'm...fine..you seem..tired...wanna rest?" Vegeta replied "Nope!" Goku yelled as he vanished then reappeared in front of Vegeta and dealt a heavy blow to his face. "I can't believe what i'm seeing. These two weren't kidding when they said they were strong...I mean i beileved them when they said they were strong, but not this strong! Thought Rainbow Dash watching the fight from the air and feeling every blow they dealt to each other. Goku caught Vegeta off guard and got a good shot in on him, kicking him in the back hard enough to send him flying upwards at tremendous speed. As Vegeta yelled to stop himself with his eyes closed and regained composure, he opened his eyes to a blue pegasus staring him in the face, mouth hanging wide open. "You're..so...AWESOME!!!" Dash yelled resisting the urge to hug him out of sheer coolness. Vegeta continued to stare then asked, "Why are you out here?" "weeell, I just wanted to stop by and see how you two were doing and it looks like your A Oka-" Just then Dash was interrupted by Goku grabbing Vegeta by his collar. "Oh no you don't, your not getting out of this that easy!" Goku said with excitement giving Vegeta one heck of a throw towards the ground burying him under piles of rocks. Vegeta blasted out of the rubble and ticked off yelled, "Kakarot, what was that?.. couldn't you see I was in the middle of a conversation!?!" "Well yeah, but you said-" "I know what I said!" Vegeta yelled while releasing a huge energy blast towards Goku. "Whoa!" Goku yelled avoiding his attack, not realizing that Dash was almost directly behind him. "Aw, no!" dash yelled in pain as she tried to evade the blast but couldn't, instead it brushed right up against her side, past her legs and right underneath her wing. She lost control of her flight and went crashing towards the ground, barely conscious. Vegeta watched in horror as she fell to the ground, which was because of him being carless. "No..NO!.. HOLD ON!" Vegeta yelled as he flew toward her as fast as he could, grabbing her in mid air and holding her gently while trying not to touch the burned area. "I think we should call it a day." Goku said landing beside Vegeta and powering down from super saiyan. Vegeta was silent and wouldn't look at Goku. "We need to take her back to town and get some help right away." informed Goku in a serious tone. Vegeta was still silent while he powered down and began to fly towards ponyville. On the trip back Goku could feel that something was wrong with Vegeta, "He's acting the same way as when trunks died...poor Vegeta." Goku thought watching Vegeta waste no time getting back to ponyville. Twilight answered the door when Vegeta knocked, "Oh Celestia, what happened?" she asked looking at the wound on Dash. Vegeta struggled to answer, "A...training accident." "Well this is some kind of accident." Twilight said, "quick bring her in and put her on my bed, it looks mostly like a bad burn." she continued with the last part echoing from the other room as she got the first aid kit. As Twilight was taking care of the wound on Dash, Vegeta left the library and Goku didn't try to stop him, he knew what was on his mind. "Do you have anymore of those beans that you two used to heal yourselves faster." asked Twilight "No, those were the last two we had." Goku said with a bit of remorse. "How is she?" "Well she should be fine, she'll be in a lot of pain for awhile but she'll make it." replied Twilight "That's good to hear. Where is everyone? I thought they would have been here." Goku asked "Well they were here and we decided to wait on you two to get back but it was taking too long, so they left and I continued to try and find a way to get you guys home." Twilight informed while levitating a book over to her. "Any luck yet?" asked Goku "Well..No." Twilight said with a slight smile. "Not even Starswirl the bearded was in this kind of situation." "Who's that?" Goku asked "He was an ancient and powerful unicorn wizard, my personal hero you could say." replied Twilight As Goku and Twilight continued their conversation Vegeta was outside in deep thought over what had happened. "I didn't mean to hurt her...Darn it, why do I care!.. A TRUE WARRIOR...how many times have I said that." Vegeta thought with anger then sorrow and remorse while staring into space in front of him. "Err, why do I suddenly care what happens to her, why should I care?" Vegeta then had a brief flashback to when Dash said he was awesome, and as he thought of this he looked towards the ground while feelings he hadn't felt in awhile came back to him. "Errr!" Vegeta gritted his teeth trying to figure it out, but kept drawing a blank. Rainbow Dash began to stir and moan as she tried to get up, as she did this a sharp burning pain shot down her side. "Your up! that's a good thing." Twilight said with excitement "Yea but I can hardly move...what happened exactly?" asked Dash looking at the wrap that Twilight put over the wound. "You were hit by Vegetas' blast... If I would have known that you were behind me I could have-" Goku was saying until interrupted. "Hey, don't sweat it. I guess I shouldn't have been out there in the first place." Dash said with more joy in her voice and looking around asked, "Where is Vegeta anyways?" "He's outside, he's not taking this very well." replied Goku "Oh" said Dash and with a more serious look, "I'm gonna go talk to him." Dash struggled to get up. "You should really rest." Twilight told her but she didn't listen. "I'm fine..ow..really." replied dash walking towards the door until Goku stopped her. "Listen, Vegetas been through some tough times. He just lost his son, and along with other things that have happened with him...well I'm just worried about him." Informed Goku Dash looked at the floor taking in the realization of what Vegeta had been through, "Thanks, but I really want to talk to him." Dash exited the library to find Vegeta standing off to the side still lost in thought. "Hey" She said getting closer to Vegeta, but he didn't hear her, "Hello!" she said poking him with her hoof. Vegeta noticed her this time, and gave her a blank look like he didn't know what to say,or what he could say. "Listen, I don't blame you at all for what happened. If anything it was my fault." said Dash This made Vegeta feel even worse, now that she was taking the blame, "No, it was my fault. I was being careless." he said There was a brief pause, "Let's just say it was no ones fault, now stop beating yourself up and show me how you guys do that energy stuff. Goku said anyone or anypony could be like you guys and I want to learn how." she said starting towards the field outside of ponyville. This left Vegeta with a feeling of almost happiness. He felt like he had made a friend, this was definitely new for Vegeta. But the feelings of loss that he had would never go away. and he would have to- "You comin or what!" Dash yelled back towards Vegeta "Yeah." he said with a smirk as he started her direction, "Great, I'm making friends with ponies. There has got to be something wrong with me. Maybe Kakarot hit me in the head too hard."                                                                                                          "So basically this is Earth." said Goku "No, this is Equestria." replied Twilight "So the planets called Equestria?" asked Goku "We've only ever known this place as Equestria." Twilight told him with a bit of annoyance. "But your planet has to have a name!" Goku told her while laughing slightly. "Look let me show you how the name Equestria applies." Twilight said while pulling a chalk board out of nowhere and beginning a long explanation of how the title Equestria applies to...well a lot of things, Goku kinda zoned out right at the start. "How did I get stuck with this!" Goku said in thought wishing he could just leave without upsetting her.                                                                                                                    Vegeta and Dash were already in the field and had found a nice place to sit near a tree. It was cool and calming, perfect for a lesson on energy. "So how should we start?" Dash asked Vegeta who was beginning to put his hands together. "Well first you need to relax, and have a calm mind." he said "A calm and relaxed mind?" Dash asked with sarcasm, "You guys didn't seem calm or relaxed in the mountains." "You need to have a calm mind at first, once you learn how to control your energy it'll be easier and easier to use it in the future." Vegeta informed now closing his eyes. Rainbow Dash watched intensely not wanting to miss a single detail. "You have to keep a calm mind, and concentrate on the energy within you." As Vegeta explained this he pulled his hands apart as if he was holding something. "Once you're able feel the energy inside you, just pull it out." As if on queue a small energy ball formed in his hands. "Whoa." said Dash staring at the glowing sphere in his hands with amazement. "Now you try." Vegeta said making the energy disappear. "ok." Dash said quietly, and put her hooves close together like Vegeta had done with his hands. Dash focused intensely and even began to sweat a bit, but she couldn't seem to make it work. "Your trying too hard." Vegeta commented with crossed arms, watching the blue Pegasus try and use energy. "It's too hard." Dash said disappointed in her efforts. "You've never tried anything like this before. It'll take time... How's your side?" he asked still feeling bad about what he did. "Sore, but I'm fine." she said standing up with Vegeta. "Let's go check on Twilight, and maybe if we ask nicely spike might make us some dinner. The word dinner came as a realization to Vegeta on how much time they had spent out in the fields, and as he looked towards ponyville he could see the sun setting behind the mountains. "Listen Dash, I know you don't want to hear it but..." Vegeta struggled to get an apology out while they were walking back to town. "I never got to say that I was sorry, so I'm sorry...for almost blasting you." Dash laughed, "Man your terrible with apologies, but I appreciate it." she couldn't help herself, she gave him a big hug then jumped away looking straight at him, "If you ever say anything about what just happened, I'll deny it and call you crazy." she then continued to walk towards town while Vegeta stood still trying to process what happened. "well that solves it, I've gone crazy." he said out loud as he began to walk towards Dash who was heading back to town. "I'm certainly done trying to make sense of all this, that's for sure. he thought and while walking he went to put his hands in his pockets but then quickly realized that, well, he didn't have pockets! "Maybe I'll have that sewing horse make me some pockets, what was her name...Rarity I think. Both Dash and Vegeta had arrived at Twilights' library and knocked. "Come on in!" Goku yelled As they entered the library they found multiple chalk boards and books strung across the room, and a very bored Goku sitting in a chair. "Oh hello we were just getting into astrophysics." Twilight said with excitement. "Yes we were!" Goku said acting like he cared and walking towards Vegeta quickly. "Can I talk to you for a second." he said through his teeth and pointing towards the room he was staying in. "Sure." Vegeta responded while following Goku into the next room. //-------------------------------------------------------// A night at the library //-------------------------------------------------------// A night at the library "I can't do this." Goku said as they entered the room and Vegeta closing the door behind him. "What do you mean?" asked Vegeta "She's too smart. I mean, Gohan would of had a hard time keeping up with her..." Goku said with frustration. "So just leave and do something else, I'm sure she'll understand." replied Vegeta "I can't do that, she's been too nice to us, by the way she said that you could stay here." Goku said turning around and looking at the small bed that could barely fit a person. "I'll just...take the floor." Vegeta said, "You know there's other ponies around here besides Twilight. Just go and meet some of them." "hmm, I guess I could." Goku replied thinking who else he could meet. "Well I'm glad I solved your problem, now lets go get something to eat." Vegeta said starting for the door. "Hold on, I have to ask...what got you in such a good mood today?" Goku asked When he heard him ask this Vegeta realized he really wasn't acting like himself, "I uh, well I'm not sure." he said looking back at Goku with an uneasy feeling. "OH NO! DON'T TELL ME!" Goku yelled as a not so great thought rushed through his mind. "YOU'RE NOT HITTING ON THAT BLUE PONY ARE YOU?! The instant thought of this made Vegeta cringe up and caught him completely off guard. "WHAT?! ARE YOU CARZY!...KAKAROT HOW COULD YOU THINK OF SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!" he yelled, loud enough to shake the windows. "We do not do that, got it!" Vegeta continued now starting to calm down and letting the room fall to silence. "Do you really want to know how I feel about her, Kakarot..." Vegeta almost mumbled while Goku watched him waiting for an answer. Vegeta turned towards the door, "I feel very close to her, like a father to a daughter...I can't explain it, and I hardly understand it." "Wow Vegeta, and here I thought you were going to stay a stone cold person for the rest of your life." Goku said relieved that his previous thoughts were wrong. Vegeta continued to stare at the door. "We don't have to talk anymore if you don't want to." Goku said "Good. But thanks for listening...It meant a lot." Vegeta said opening the door to find Twilight, Dash, and Spike staring at him. "Our conversation is over, now what's for dinner?" Vegeta asked still questioning his day in the back of his mind. "Well uh, I haven't started it yet." Spike said walking into the kitchen. Vegeta walked over to the closest book shelf and began to look at the selection, he quickly realized that ponies must use the English Language different from how he was a custom. Some books made sense but others were gibberish. Rainbow Dash rushed over to him quickly bringing a book with her, "Here try this." she said giving him the book, "It's called Daring Doo, It's really good." "Thanks." he said taking the book and flipping through the pages. It seemed okay, no random words from what he could tell. Spike finished dinner and set a table almost as good as Goku's wife could. He served a variety of dishes that neither Goku or Vegeta could figure out what they were, but they quickly figured out why Twilight let Spike fix dinner. It was Fantastic! And if Goku could have, he would of said so. But he almost swallowed the plates and bowls as he ate. After a great dinner they all sat around in the library while Goku told stories that people on Earth liked to tell like his success at fishing, which seemed weird to the ponies. He also talked about Frieza and how he was able to defeat him and how the planet blew up right as he escaped it. These stories took them well into the night and at what seemed to be midnight Goku decided to turn in. "Well, I'm gonna go get some sleep." Goku said yawning out loud. "huh." Vegeta was trying not to nod off. "Yea I think I'll turn in to." Vegeta said getting up and heading towards the room. Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash who had fallen asleep on the couch and thought it best for her to stay anyways. Everyone was in bed at this point and Vegeta was, well, on the floor but he didn't mind. "Kakarot?" Vegeta whispered in the darkness. "huh, what?" Goku asked almost asleep. "This place...does it seem almost too good to be true." Vegeta said "What do you mean?" Goku asked "These ponies...they're like people, but so much more understanding and war is practically unknown to them. Goku laid in silence for a moment thinking about this to himself. "Yea, I see what you mean, But what are you saying?" "Well...if Earth is destroyed before we can get back, why don't we just...stay here." Vegeta said unsure of his choice of words. Goku sat up, "But-" "I'm not cowering from a fight, if that's what your about to say." Vegeta said more sternly. "I'm just saying that we shouldn't let this place fall as well." These words were a cold realization to Goku. He couldn't even respond to Vegeta. "good night." Vegeta said turning on his side, leaving Goku in deep thought about the situation on Earth. Meanwhile back on Earth, Cell was causing massive amounts of destruction and devastation. "I love to torment the weak and helpless." he said watching a city burn and doing a laugh in the back of his throat. Then after some time he let out a long sigh. "The human race has really diminished around here." Cell said proudly. "So let's see then." He held his hands up to himself as if to weigh a decision. "Should I blow up the planet?" looking at one hand. "Or kill the rest of the people?" looking at the other. For sometime Cell had a feeling he couldn't shake and just kept it in the back of his mind, but now more than before he felt as if he didn't really destroy Goku and Vegeta. "I know that they still must be alive...they have to be, I can still feel their energy at times. Faintly but. it. is. there. Cell continued to think while floating over the burning city and at this point he had put his hands down. "Err, WHERE ARE YOU TWO!!!" Cell yelled as loud as he could breaking down any building left standing. "I will find you BOTH if it's the last thing I do." //-------------------------------------------------------// An interesting challenger //-------------------------------------------------------// An interesting challenger Morning came quickly for the citizens of Ponyville. The sun was out and the air was crisp and cool with a thin fog floating over the ground. The birds were chirping and the settlement made by ponies was beginning to come to life. "OW! Hey Kakarot, watch what you're doing!" Vegeta yelled since Goku stepped on his stomach. "Sorry." Goku said letting out a big yawn. "I wander what's for breakfast." "It never changes with you and food." Vegeta said now up and stretching. "Yep, it's the one enemy that I may never conquer." Goku said putting his boots on. Vegeta gave a slight laugh then headed out of the room, as he left he was greeted by Twilight and Spike packing a few books into a bag. "Going somewhere?" Vegeta asked on his way to the kitchen. "Shh!" Twilight shushed Vegeta which caught him off guard until she pointed towards Rainbow Dash still asleep on the couch. "She needs all the rest she can get. What are you doing today?" she whispered "Nothing, why?" Vegeta tried to whisper back but was unsure what tone to use. "I'm going to Canterlot today." Twilight whispered to Vegeta who was still waking up. "The princess wants to see me about something. And I need someone to stay here and take care of Rainbow Dash." "Okay, I can do that." Vegeta responded in a correct whisper this time. "Good, now try to keep her indoors and resting." Twilight said with less of a whisper. Vegeta returned her statement with a really? kind of look. "You really think she wants to stay inside all day." "Do you want her to get better or not?" Twilight asked Vegeta This was something that Vegeta wanted and so after giving it some thought, "Okay she'll stay inside and get some rest." "Good, well I'm off to Canterlot." she said sticking her head into the other room and quickly asking Goku, "Keep an eye on the library for me, will you?" And before getting a response, she left. Goku walked out of the room and saw Vegeta, "What was that about?" "She's going to Canterlot." Vegeta responded "Oh...Well, time for breakfast." Goku said heading into the kitchen. Vegeta wondered if it was a good idea to let Goku have the kitchen to himself but quickly pushed the thought out of his mind. He had to figure out a way to keep Dash indoors. "Hey Kakarot-" Vegeta began to ask Goku a question as he walked into the kitchen but was somewhat surprised to find that he was just eating cereal instead of everything the kitchen had. Of course he was using the biggest bowl he could find, but still. "Uhm, how could I keep Dash indoors today?" Vegeta asked "Tell her it's raining." Goku said in between bites of cereal. Vegeta put his hand over his face, "Your not serious." "Ok, read her that book that she likes so much." Goku suggested This was actually not a bad idea, if he could keep her resting and all he had to do was read a book then he'd be in the clear. "Also..." Goku continued, "You need to watch the library today, I can't." "What. Why not?" Vegeta asked wondering what Goku was planning. "Because I've got plans." Goku responded finishing his breakfast. "Plans? What Plans? You couldn't have made plans..." Vegeta was confused, and just stared at Goku. "Well, I decided that I'll try and make a friend like you did!" Goku informed him, "Pretty good idea don't you think?" "I...uh...but. whatever, you go do what you want." Vegeta gave up trying to make sense of Goku's thought process and started his own breakfast. Vegeta was a genius when it came to planning stuff out. He figured a good way to help Dash get better was to fix her breakfast as well. He decided to fix Earth classics such as, Pancakes, eggs, and muffins instead of bacon. Goku was outside and took in a deep breath, "What a great day!" he said as he got ready to take off into the sky. But no more than 15 or so feet out from the library he heard a voice calling his name. "Goku..." the voice sounded distant but was getting closer, and fast. "GOKU!!!" the voice slammed into him in a blur. This barely moved the battle hardened warrior. As Goku looked down he found a Pink pony with balloons as a cutie mark resting on his leg. "Hi! Do you remember me? Of course you do! Well unless you forgot about me. I hadn't considered that yet." Pinkie Pie rambled on and Goku watched in amazement as she continued to say the weirdest things. "Can I help you with something?" Goku asked Pinkie with a smile. "hmm." She thought for a moment. "Yes, you can." She then pulled a piece of parchment paper out of nowhere with something written on it. "See this?, It's my list of things to do with a new pony list. You may not be a pony but we can still do it!" Goku looked puzzled, "You keep a list of things to do with people you just met?" "Ah-huh" Pinkie said nodding slightly. "Ok, what's the first thing on your list?" Goku decided to play along, maybe she would be the one he became friends with. "Well I know it's more of Dashes thing, but I'd like to have a race with you." Pinkie said getting rid of the paper she had. "A race? But isn't that a little unfair." Goku asked implying that he was faster than Pinkie. "Maybe for you." she said as she looked around for a good finish line. "I think it'll be fun." Goku didn't know what to think next so he decided to take it seriously and accepted her challenge. "Alright, so where do we start and end this race." Goku began to stretch his legs "There!" Pinkie pointed at the closest mountain outside of Ponyville. "That's perfect! First to the peak wins!" "But it's so far away..." Goku said thinking that she wouldn't even get close to finishing the race, while he would have already been at the top. "Well if you can't make it, I can choose a different finish line." Pinkie said beginning to look around again. "What!" Goku thought, "You don't think I can make it?" he asked surprised at her assumption. "Well I don't know, can you?" Pinkie asked skeptically. "Yea, I can make it." Goku said readying himself to run. "Great! Are you ready?" Pinkie asked. Goku shot her a look of determination but he also had a smile since he loved a challenge. "Get ready, get set, GO!" Pinkie yelled as she started the race. Goku shot off faster than anything that Equestria had ever seen before, If Rainbow Dash would have been awake to see this she would have had a heart attack. Goku ran out of Ponyville leaving a trail of dust and gawking ponies. He looked back over his shoulder to see where Pinkie was. To his surprise she was hopping at a slow speed... "Maybe I should have explained what a race was." Goku said now focusing on his main goal. Goku ran so fast that he barely realized that he had reached the mountain base and began to climb faster than any monkey could have dreamed of. About three-fourths of the way up Goku looked back over his shoulder and didn't see pinkie, "huh. Maybe she gave up? Oh well, I'm already here, might as well finish." Goku said grabbing the ledge which was the peak and pulled himself up without a problem. "Wow, I'd say that was too-" Goku stopped himself as he tried to comprehend what was in front of him. "It can't be...It's...not...POSSIBLE!" Goku couldn't make heads nor tails with his discovery. There in front of him was Pinkie Pie. She was sitting looking the opposite way of him and drinking some kind of purple liquid, probably punch. Pinkie heard Gokus' accusation and turned around, "Hi! You got here quicker than I thought you would! Wanna go again?! Pinkie said with lots of energy in her voice. "But...you...were..uh." Goku said as he turned around quickly looking back at Ponyville then back to Pinkie. "How did you get up here so fast?" "hmm, I don't know." Pinkie responded like a some kid getting asked questions. Goku regained his composure, "Ok, that mountain over there. First to the top wins." Goku was pointing to the next mountain. "Okey dokey lok-" Pinkie was interrupted by Goku taking off by flight this time leaving dust and a shallow crater where he was standing. "Okay she can't beat me this time. I'm a lot faster in the air than I am on ground. Goku said nearing the next mountain peak, and taking a look behind him to see where she was. To his surprise she was nowhere to be found, Goku ignored this and continued on. As he landed on the peak he took a moment to check his surroundings. It was a beautiful spot. It had short grass and one tree on it. "Well I guess I was too fast for her!" Goku said to himself allowing a vote of confidence. His brief victory ended when he heard something in the nearby tree. He stared at it as if it was a staring contest and waited...What came out was a small squirrel. "Phew." Goku let out a big sigh, "I'm glad you're not a pink pony." he said laughing to himself. "Yea that would be weird since I'm a pink pony!" Pinkie was laughing with Goku as she walked around from the other side of the tree. Goku watched Pinkie walk towards him with his mouth hung wide open. If his mouth would have been open any further he would have lost his bottom jaw. "H-h-how?...You." Goku pointed behind him, "I just...I uh...how?" Goku was more confused now then before. "Aw, cheer up you're not the first one to run into this situation." Pinkie said patting Goku on the back. "But?" Goku still couldn't form a question. "When this sort of thing happens, my friends always say it's because I'm Pinkie Pie." Pinkie said trying to ease Gokus' mind. "What?! You expect me to just stop and say, Oh well this happened because Pinkie Pie?" Goku said getting upset with his confusion. "Yea huh." Pinkie said giving Goku a slight nod. Gokus' mind was rushing around trying to find a solution to this mystery but decided to move on with the day. "Ok, let's have one more race." Goku demanded just coming up with a plan. "Are you sure?" Pinkie asked not wanting to beat him again. "Yea... I'm sure." Goku said smiling at how much of a genius he was... or at least how much of one he thought he was. "Ok, where to this time?" Pinkie asked "Ponyville, the finish line will be Twilight's library." Goku informed pointing towards Ponyville which was a small blur now. "Ready?" Goku asked, "GO!" Pinkie took off hopping like she did every time but Goku instead stayed in place and watched her continue to hop down the mountain while humming a tune. "This time I'll be the one greeting her." Goku thought while raising two fingers and putting them on his forehead. He focused in the direction of Ponyville finding Vegetas' energy signal and concentrated on it. Goku disappeared from the mountain then reappeared inside the library next to Vegeta, sending Vegeta out of the chair he was sitting in. "What? uh, Kakarot?" Vegeta said as he picked himself up. "No time to explain, I have to beat Pinkie Pie!" Goku said rushing out the front door and saw nothing but some ordinary ponies passing by. "Uh oh." Rainbow Dash muttered "Uh oh, why do you say that?" Vegeta asked her while sitting down and picking up a book. "We probably should have warned him about Pinkie Pie and her insane ways." Dash informed Vegeta gave her an interested and concerned look but didn't ask any questions. "Yes!" Goku yelled jumping up then upon landing he put a finger in the air indicating that he was first. "I won this time!" "Actually we tied." Pinkie said coming out of nowhere and almost making Gokus' heart jump out of his chest. "That's...im...imp...impossible..." Goku trailed off not being able to comprehend how she did it, then demanded answers. "I moved at the speed of light and maybe faster! How did you manage to get here with me!" he demanded. "Because she's Pinkie Pie." Rainbow Dash said walking outside with Vegeta following close behind her, ready to defend her from anything that might happen. "But I can't just walk away saying...it's because she's Pinkie Pie." Goku was about to go crazy over this. Vegeta then got an idea to settle the situation, "Kakarot, I'm sure that a lot of math and science goes into the process. You wouldn't want to got through that again, would you?" Goku suddenly recalled the day with Twilight. "uhh, on second thought...I think I can live with it being her thing." causing them to breakout out in a group laugh until interrupted by Pinkie. "Hey! you know what I just realized? I've never been tied before like that! Do you know what this means?!" Pinkie said becoming happier each second and drawing stares from everyone in the area. "A party!" Pinkie grabbed the two saiyans and the Pegasus and seemed to teleport them to Sugarcube corner where a party was set up and ready to go. This drew confused looks from Vegeta and Goku as they looked at each other trying to understand what just happened. Rainbow Dash on the other hand already had a drink of Pinkies famous punch. Goku and Vegeta were still confused on how she got them there and how this party was already set up. She didn't use Instant Transmission, Goku would have noticed that, it was the strangest... Both saiyans immediately gave each other an understanding look and decided to enjoy the party. They both had the same idea. Who were they to question how this universe works or how these ponies used it. During the party Pinkie ended up sitting next to Goku who was taking on every cupcake that came his way. Pinkie immediately followed his example. After clearing his throat Goku asked her, "Aren't cupcakes bad for ponies?" "Nope" she replied with her mouth stuffed full of them. What eventually happened after that is hard to describe. Goku and Pinkie Pie got into a cupcake eating contest and an ambulance had to be called or something like that... I'm not sure because the narrator wasn't invited to the party...Oh well.                                                                                                                                          Let's try something new, I'll give you readers a voting choice for what could happen next. Another beautiful day in Ponyville had already begun and Goku and Vegeta had once more discussed their plans for the day over breakfast. Goku decided that he'd like to take a walk around town and get to know the ponies a little better. While Vegeta on the other hand, couldn't stop thinking of how nice it must be to have pockets. Goku stood up and began to exit the room, "Well, I'm off. Have fun Vegeta." "Right." Vegeta replied as he felt the side of his leg as if looking for a pocket, then thought. "Very well then... I need pockets." The saiyan prince smiled at himself over the thought of it. Now you may be wondering...Why does Vegeta want pockets so bad? Well you'll find out later if we get to it... Goku was now strolling down the streets of what was now a busy community. Ponies were out shopping and talking to each other and sharing ideas on how something could have been improved around their town. Goku didn't pay much thought to them, but he did return a couple waves that venders would give him or he would respond to whoever might tell him "hello", or "have a nice day". Goku had taken a road that led him out of the town and towards Sweet Apple Acres. He liked this road, it was peaceful and he knew Applejack wouldn't mind if he helped himself to a few apples here and there. It was then that he saw two small wagons turned over and three little fillies staring at the mess that they had made. "Well shoot, I told ya Scootaloo. You just couldn't listen." Applebloom was the first to speak while Goku made his way up to them. "Well I'm sorry, I didn't mean to break it!" Scootaloo responded now looking at Applebloom and catching a short glimpse of Goku walking towards them. She turned around and gave Goku a weird stare, "Wow Applebloom, your sister was right. These guys do look weird." "Hey now, that's not very nice." Goku said giving the children a smile. Sweetie belle was next to speak up, "Hey, is it true that you're incredibly strong. Like strong enough to push a giant rock?" Goku couldn't help but remember his days with master Roshie and how he did in fact move a giant boulder. With a slight laugh, "Yea, you could say that." he responded "great! can you help us get these wagons back to the barn." Sweetie asked Goku thought about it for a second then decided since he wasn't busy that he could help out. "Sure." he said then grabbed both wagons and lifted them up. He could see what had happened, One of the wheels had been crushed like they hit a rock too hard. The wagons seemed to resemble the kind used on Earth in farming, but they were smaller and lighter. Goku guessed they were pony sized. The group started towards the barn and Goku couldn't help but ask the three a question. "What were you three doing out here with these wagons?" "We're trying to get a racing cutie mark!" Scootaloo replied while jumping a bit. "Cutie marks? What's that?" Goku had asked this question since none of the other ponies he had met before bothered to inform him or Vegeta about cutie marks. In a shocked tone Scootaloo answered his question. "Your kidding me? They show your special talent." "Really..." Goku said as he took that into consideration. "So what if you have more than one special talent?" he asked "Then..." This caught Scootaloo off guard for a second. "I guess you get...more than one cutie mark." Scootaloo wasn't completely sure of her answer and Goku didn't bother to ask more questions. They had reached the barn and Goku sat the two wagons down at the entrance. "Well I guess that about does it. Need anything else?" Goku asked waiting for an answer. The kids huddled into a circle and began to discuss something briefly. "Do you think he would do it?" Scootaloo had asked. "Maybe." Applebloom responded. "It wouldn't hurt to ask." Sweetie suggested. They ended their quick huddle and smiled towards Goku. This gave him an uneasy feeling since he wasn't sure what they could want. "Well..." Applebloom said inching closer to Goku and giving a sly grin. "Could you try and help us get our adventuring cutie marks. Pleaseeee." Applebloom gave him the biggest set of puppy dog eyes he had ever seen. "Uhhh...I guess so." he responded. the three young fillies shouted in an ear shattering tone, " YEA, CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS ADVENTURE!!!" Goku was caught off guard by this and while holding his ears, "Yea uh geez, did you have to yell so loud?" "Sorry, it's kind of our thing." Sweetie said blushing a little. "Right, so uh what should I do?" Goku asked while regaining his hearing. "You follow us and if we run into something dangerous you can help us out...right?" Sweetie asked. Goku was beginning to think this was a bad idea. "Shouldn't we let the others know what we're doing?" The three children exchanged looks and responded as a group, "Nope." Goku let out a sigh. "Ok then let's get started...I guess." The trio of fillies had already began running toward the thick woods.                                                                                                                        Back in Ponyville Vegeta had already decided to get some pockets put onto his one piece blue suit. And was heading towards the Carousel Boutique. That's were Dash said he would most likely find Rarity. When Vegeta had reached the small shop he knocked on the door, but didn't get an answer. He decided to knock a couple more times. "Come in!" Vegeta heard Rarity yell, then decided to let himself in. Vegeta was immediately hit with a blast of bright colors and shining diamonds. "You put diamonds on your clothing?" Vegeta asked as he was shocked at what the expenses must be. "Well yes of course darling." Rarity replied walking over to a dress she had been working on. "Aren't they fantastic?" Vegeta replied, "Yea." "And extremely expensive.". he thought to himself. Vegeta then shook the thought from his mind. "I need a favor." he asked while moving further into the room. Rarity gave a slightly confused look, "What's that?" "I'd like to have some pockets." Vegeta told her while feeling where they should be. "You know...to carry things around in." "I see." Rarity began, then moved to a desk with some paper was laid out on it. "How deep would you like the pockets to be?" "I don't know." Vegeta replied trying to figure it out. "Far enough for my hands to fit." Rarity wrote down the details then turned back to Vegeta, "Very well then I'll have them done in a couple of hours." Vegeta didn't expect what came next. Rarity had used her magic to seemingly take Vegetas' outfit off of him without it being torn. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Vegeta yelled while grabbing a nearby unused piece of cloth that was covering a manikin. Rarity was shocked by Vegetas reaction, "Well, I'm only taking your cloths so that I can put those pockets in that you wanted." "YEA!...but you could have just asked for the outfit! Not tear it off me!" Vegeta continued to yell. "But this way is so much more...efficient." Rarity informed still not understanding why Vegeta was bothered by this. "So what do I wear now?!" Vegeta asked while his cheeks turned red from embarrassment. "Well I would assume, nothing?" Rarity was now more confused because of the obvious question. "WHAT! I can't go around naked!" Vegeta was starting to get worked up. Rarity gave a slight laugh, "You and that Goku, you always wear cloths...Don't they get annoying after some time?" "NO THEY DON'T!...And forget it, I'll just go back to Twilights and get my ripped up suit." Vegeta explained as he headed for the door while putting the cloth around his waist like a towel. "By the way, I'm keeping this." he continued. Rarity watched Vegeta leave in anger over his missing suit, "What a strange species..." she said taking the suit to the table to begin her work. "Ok...I'm currently naked in a town full of talking ponies..." Vegeta looked down at the cloth that he grabbed then realized what color it was, "PINK! How did I manage that?!...whatever, I just have to get back to the library...Ok I can't fly, If I did I'd probably loose this cloth pretty easily...so." Vegeta sighed, "Screw it, I'll walk." he said out loud to himself and started towards the library.                                                                                                                            Meanwhile Goku and the Crusaders were deep into the Everfree Forest. "So what's so dangerous about this place?" Goku asked while resting his hands above his head. "There's lots of horrible creatures in here." Sweetie started to get a look of concern on her face. "Yea, and these creatures aren't afraid to kill you-" Applebloom was cut off by Scootaloo. "And they'll eat you in one bit and leave nothing behind so no pony knows what happened to you!" Scootaloo said jumping up in Gokus' face trying to scare him. Goku only smiled in response which also made that *squee* noise. "Dude what's wrong with you?" Scootaloo asked now back on the ground and continuing their hike. "Well...I guess you could say I don't scare easy." Goku said with a slight laugh. "Oh ok then-" Sweetie was about to ask a question but was cut off by a loud snap in the nearby brush piles. Sweetie whispered, "Did you hear that?" "Yea and I think it's best that we head ba-" This time Scootaloo got interrupted as Goku started yelling towards the noise. "HELLO!...Hey are you here to eat us? Cause if you are I'd really like to fight you first!" Goku continued his oblivious taunting which left the three fillies scared out of their minds. "No... Don't do that, you'll get yourself killed." Applebloom was trying to warn Goku but it was too late. Goku heard the rustling get louder as he put his head over the bushes. Then it happened. A giant Timberwolf burst out of the brush and bit down on Gokus' head. "NOO!" The fillies yelled out in horror to see...well...hmm. Goku just standing their. With his head in the mouth of a Timberwolf. The girls could hear a muffled statement. "hmm, I see you beat me to the draw...But can you follow this up?" Goku asked with his head still in the creatures mouth. The Timberwolf glanced over to the confused and scared fillies and gave a look of confusion." Goku sighed, "I didn't think so." Goku put his hands on the jaws of the creature and opened its mouth. Granted it was stronger than what he had assumed it to be, but no match for his strength. With Goku now in control of the creature he let it go and gave it a scalding look. "Now you can't just go around eating people, more specifically biting their heads." No one there could believe what was happening, Goku was literally teaching the monster a lesson. If he had a desk and chalk board he would have had that thing in school. "And that's what we call, astrophysics." Goku said finishing his lesson and repeating what he had learned from Twilight. "Now go on." He said in a stern voice to the confused creature. "Go!" He said louder with a finger pointing to his left. The creature took off still wandering what had just happened. "What...just...happened?" Applebloom asked "I think...he just took that creature to school..." Scootaloo replied unsure with her answer. Goku turned around to face the three kids, "Sometimes you just have to show them who's boss." he said with a smile. "Ready to move on?" "Yea!" Scootaloo had a sudden burst of confidence and started walking, "Come on, I'm sure we'll find treasure or something...And wouldn't Rainbow Dash be proud of us if we did!" "Yea!" The other two responded running in her direction with Goku walking in the back and shaking his head with a smile.                                                                                                                                            Back in Ponyville Vegeta had just made it to the library and opened the door. To much of Vegetas' dismay he opened the door to Rainbow Dash reading a book. Dash looked up and could hardly hold back a full on laugh, "What? Did the powerful super saiyan get mugged on his way home?" she asked sarcastically then started to laugh with out control. "Oh ha ha ha. Very funny..." Vegeta said in an annoyed tone while walking into the other room. Dash calmed down a bit and raised her tone so he could hear her, "Sorry, sorry. So what really happened?" "The sewing horse-" Vegeta was corrected by Dash "Rarity" "Right, that one...Took my cloths literally right off my back." Vegeta finished "Yea she does that...usually it never bothers people." Dash replied The sounds of Vegeta changing came an immediate stop. "Dash?" "Yea?" "Did you just say people instead of ponies?" Dash looked at the floor for a second remembering what she had said. "Huh. I guess I did." Vegeta finished getting dressed and then headed out to the living room where Dash was sitting and grabbed a book off the nearby shelf. "What do ya suppose it is?" Applebloom asked "I'm not sure." Scootaloo replied "It's a hole." Sweetie said plainly. The three filly explorers came upon a big hole in the ground. It was a good 20 feet wide, but the bottom couldn't be seen. Scootaloo looked towards Sweetie, "We know that. But what's at the bottom?" she then turned her attention back to the seemingly bottomless hole. Goku meanwhile was watching the surrounding area making sure nothing else would sneak up on them. "Mr. Goku?" Applebloom asked trying to get Gokus' attention. "Hm, oh just call me Goku. What's up?" he replied "Could you get us down to the bottom of this thing?" Applebloom asked "Sure, just hold on to me." Goku said as he lowered himself, Scootaloo and Applebloom both got onto Gokus' shoulders but Sweetie didn't seem to move, "What's wrong?" he asked "I uh...don't really want to go down there." She replied fearing what could happen. "Oh, well ok. Will you be alright up here?" "Yea, I'll hold the fort down." Goku gave her a puzzled look, "How strange. That's a saying we have back on Earth." He then started to float down into the dark vertical tunnel. Applebloom started to fidget around, "Its darker than what I thought it would of been." "Well I always come prepared." Goku replied, he then powered up to super saiyan which lit up the entire hole, even the bottom. "Wow, what did you do?" Scootaloo asked "It's a long story...I'll tell you about it later." he replied and landed at the bottom. "Wow you would have thought that this would have widened out or something." he said scratching his head. The two fillies starting digging around, looking for anything when Scootaloo uncovered a green spherical gem. Goku couldn't help it...he had a strange feeling about the position they were in. "Hey look what I found!" she said then poked the crystal with her hoof. "NO! WAIT!" Goku yelled....but nothing happened..."Phew...you need to be more care-" suddenly the ground started to shake and the crystal began to rise up in front of the group. The gem began to glow and sent out an aura of blue and green energy scanning Goku and the two fillies determining what they were. Suddenly the gem stopped and fell back to ground. "Well..." Goku was about to ask what that was about but was cut off as something began to form in front of him. It was the strangest thing. Goku could sense a high power level but it felt so famaliar to him... He ruled out his guess as an impossible coincidence. But was correct in his thinking as form was completed. Goku was staring into the eyes of himself... It stood there motionless staring at Goku. It was an exact replica of him and a super saiyan as he was. The only difference in the duplicate was it had a thin white glow around it. "You're...me?" Goku was lost as the copy didn't reply to him. Goku could sense his own energy coming from this duplicate but with an empty and evil feeling to it. It blinked at Goku. Goku quickly caught the message grabbing the two fillies and shot up and out of the hole waisting no time. When he reached the surface he set Scootaloo and Applebloom down then stared at the hole waiting for anything to happen. "What was that?!" Scootaloo asked Goku continued to stare at the hole focusing intensely. "Go. It's too dangerous for you three to be here right now." Goku informed still waiting. "What? but-" Applebloom stopped herself as the copy of Goku rose out of the hole slowly. "Go. Now." Goku said in an deteremended voice. The three kids nodded their heads and began to make their way back towards Ponyville as fast as they could. Goku kept his attention focused on the copy of himself. "What are you? And what do you want?" he asked but it continued to stare at Goku with a look of determined evil. Suddenly the duplicate vanished and then reappeared in front of Goku giving him a swift kick sending him through the thick woods. Goku caught himself as the copy reached him and gave a heavy punch back. He sent the duplicate soaring  through the air, not realising that the direction was Ponyville. Goku charged towards the duplicate as it regained itself in the air and threw a fierce right hook at but the copy dodged sending a kick up towards Goku who had manged to avoid its attack. The fight continued over the fields outside of Ponyville and was heading straight for town. This couldn't be helped as Goku had his hands full with a copy of himself that seemed to be stronger than him. Goku couldn't keep it up as the duplicate decided to try energy out. It blasted Goku with a decent sized blast which burned his orange shirt off leaving behind the blue one. The blast also had enough behind it to send him flying towards Twilights' library. "ahhhAAHHH!" was all vegeta could hear as he looked over at Rainbow Dash and asked, "Can you hear that?" Suddenly Goku came smashing through the wall causeing a book shelf to drop on him on top of the pile of rubble from the house. A blue book slid away uncovering Gokus' face. "Hey...Vegeta...What's up?" Goku asked both blacking out and in pain. Vegeta sat still in his chair wondering what had happened. His questions were answered as a copy of Goku appeared standing in the hole it had just created. The duplicate stood their looking at Vegeta with a surprised look...that look quickly changed to anger. "Two!" The copy had finally said something, its voice was nothing like Gokus', it was a low raspy kind of voice almost like a badly programmed robot trying to learn English. "Yes. There are two of us. Now tell me, why did you take Kakarots' form." Vegeta asked still sitting in the chair. The copy stood there and tried to say the word Kakarot but couldn't. Instead it replied with a simple sentence. "It was...necessary." "Oh really. And why's that?" Vegeta asked now standing up. "This body...this form...it is..." The duplicate was doing its best to speak clearly. "More powerful than any creature that we have encountered before." "Well I hate to tell you this but you chose the wrong saiyan." Vegeta let out a slight laugh. "You're looking at the better one. Right here." he continued now pointing at himself. Goku came too, barely, but he was awake enough to ask a question, "Why...why are you attacking us?" The copy held a look of evil on its face as it answered, "You are an...endangerment...to our plans, and therefore must be...taken care of." "Alright then!" Vegeta yelled as clinched his fist and a golden aura surrounded him as he transformed into a super saiyan like Goku, "I haven't had a decent fight since I left Earth!" Vegeta disappeared and caught the duplicate off guard kicking it hard enough to send it out of the library. Goku was getting out from under the pile of books with Dash helping where she could. "There's something strange about that...thing, right?" "Besides the fact that he looks just like me?" Goku replied now standing up and let out a sigh, "Stay here." Then flew out of the libray to help Vegeta. Rainbow Dash wouldn't just sit by and watch the fight, "Sorry Goku, your getting help. And I won't take no for an answer." she thought as she quickly came up with a plan. Vegeta underestimated how strong this thing was and could barly keep up with it. Instead of the copy going for another swing, it grabbed Vegeta by the throat and started to strangle him, Vegeta was at a loss on how it had managed to move so quickly. As things began to grow darker in Vegetas vision he heard Goku rush up and land a firm kick in the duplicates face. But instead of getting launched it merely lost its grip on Vegeta. "Kakarot! Its getting stronger!" Vegeta said rubbing where the copy had held him. "Yea I noticed!" Goku yelled in reply as he decended a bit to even out with Vegeta. Goku slowly glanced over at Vegeta and Vegeta returned it with a slight nod. The two saiyans floated in the air even with the copy of Goku, and at the same time they both let out a massive blast towards the duplicate. It was unable to avoid it and took the blast head on. It's whole body was swallowed up and a smoke cloud was left behind as the two warriors stopped their attack. "I think we did it." Goku said towards Vegeta. "What was that thing?" Vegeta asked. "I don't know, but man was it stron-" Goku stopped himself as he looked in horror at the copy still floating in the air and was only scratched a bit by the blast. "No...no...that's not possible." Goku was in shock and out of ideas. The copy had decided to take the next move and rushed towards Goku giving him a heavy blow to his neck knocking Goku unconscious and turning him back to normal before he hit the ground. Vegeta watched in horror as he was unable to follow the duplicates movements towards Goku. The copy then turned its attention towards Vegeta and stared at him, ready to pounce on the saiyan prince...until *WHACK* A wooden board came smashing down on the copies head spliting in half and sending splinters out everywhere. It was Rainbow Dash. She hit the duplicate over the head with a two by four, which was the closest object she could find. Vegeta stared at the copy as it floated motionless processing what had just happened. Dash on the other hand realized how strong this thing really was and began to worry on what might happen. The copy turned its head around to Dash and watched her as she flew backwards in surprise at how fast it could move its head. "What are you?" Dash asked under her breath. The duplicate decided to deal with the pony first then it would deal with Vegeta. It began to move towards Dash but was stopped by Vegeta who had grabbed the duplicate and was holding it in place. "GO! Hurry Dash. I don't know how long I can hold him!" Vegeta yelled out hoping Dash would listen. "But!" Dash began but was cut off by Vegeta. "Go! Now! Hurry!" Vegeta was almost begging her to leave until... The copy managed an arm free and elbowed Vegeta right in the stomach. This sent Vegeta floating backwards in unbeileveable pain. The duplicate turned around and grabbed Vegeta by his hair and landed a direct punch in Vegetas' face sending him flying down towards where Goku was knocked out. Rainbow Dash watched in horror as the copy turned its attention now to Dash. She watched it start to inch closer and closer then decided to close her eyes and wait for what was about to happen...After sometime though, nothing happened. Dash opened her eyes to find the copy incredibly close to her but frozen in a purple aura. "Huh?" She said as she poked it with her hoof and then looked down to see Twilight keeping control of the creature with her magic. "Twilight!" Dash yelled out happy to see her friend. "Hold...on." Twilight was focusing her magic as hard as she could on the copy. She had now brought it down to the ground and continued to focus. At first the creature was just frozen, after a few moments of concentration it began to fade until finally the duplication broke down into light then dissappeared completely. 'How'd you know to do that?" Dash asked in surprise to Twilights' effectiveness against the copy. Twilight was happy to explain. "well you wouldn't beileve it, but this is exactly what Princess Celestia wanted to see me about. These copies of ponies have been popping up everywhere. But thankfully Celestia discovered a way to deal with them and showed me, Cadence, and Luna how to do it." Rainbow Dash gave her a lost look, "Oh...well, good for you." She then remember Goku and Vegeta, "ohmygosh, I forgot about Vegeta!" she said in a panic and rushed to were the two were unconscious. Vegeta came to and opened his eyes only to see Dash pushing dirt off of him. "D-dash...what happened to that thing?" Dash was trying to comfort him. "Twilight took care of it and don't worry I'll get you back to normal in a snap." Vegeta took another hit to his pride as he realized that once again he had lost a battle. And to make it worse...he was saved by a purple unicorn.                                                                                                                                  The day was coming to an end after Twilight had used a repair spell to fix the library and had just finished putting on the last bandage wrap around Gokus' head. Vegeta stood out on the balcony of the library, the cool evening air felt good on his bruises and was in deep thought over what had happened during his fight. "I was beaten again." this thought stayed in Vegetas' mind for sometime as he tried to find some reason to his loss. Rainbow Dash was sitting on the couch wondering what was on Vegetas' mind. He had walked up to the library balcony after she had finished putting on his bandages and asked to left alone. There was a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Twilight was moving towards the door and opened it to find three young fillies standing in the doorway. "Hi Twilight." Applebloom started. Scootaloo finished, "We were wondering if Goku was okay." "Oh, yes he's fine. Would you like to talk to him?" Twilight asked but Goku was already at the door since he knew who it was. "Hey!" Goku was happy to see that the kids made it out of the forest without any trouble. "What brings you by?" "Well we saw you fighting that thing, and wanted to make sure you were okay." Sweetie said moving in closer. "We started to worry that something bad had happened." "Nah, me and Vegeta handled it." Twilight cleared her throat. "Oh right, Twilight help us too." Goku said scratching his head. Dash spoke up from the back of the room, "Hey what about me!" "Dash also helped." Goku finished with a slight smile. "So your okay, right?" Applebloom asked. Goku gave a look of confidence, "Yep, we should be back to normal in no time." "Good, cause we have more adventuring to do!" Scootaloo said while jumping. "Oh...uh...well I might not be ready that soon, hehe." Goku let out a slight laugh as he thought of what other horrible things could be waiting in the Everfree. "Girls, could you tell me what caused the copy to appear?" Twilight asked "It was some kind of crystal that we found out in the Everfree forest. It lit up real bright and then the copy appeared." Scootaloo had explained to the best of her ability. "Yep, that sounds about right." Twilight started as she looked up towards Goku, "These crystals have been appearing all over Equestria. They're activated by some pony getting close to it and create a replica of the pony, or in this case, person causing it to be evil in nature." "Shouldn't we do something about the one we found today?" Goku asked "No, see the crystals only have enough power to create one copy. They're just regular rocks after they've been used." "oh, I see." Goku replied actually understanding what she had said. "Well we have to go." Sweetie said turning around and walking out of the doorway. "Yea, we'll see you around." Applebloom was gone now as well. "Yea! We've got more crusading to do!" Scootaloo was gone as well and Twilight closed the door with her magic. "Nice kids." Goku said "Yea, but a little too adventurous if you ask me." Twilight replied heading back for the couch where Rainbow Dash was. "Hey Twilight, there's just one thing I don't understand." Goku stated as he walked towards the middle of the room. "What's that?" "Why was that copy stronger than me and Vegeta?" Even Vegeta raised an eyebrow to this question. Twilight thought about this for a minute. In regular cases the crystals made a copy of an unsuspecting pony and they were just as strong as the original. "I'm not sure, being as how you two have different...abilities, maybe it caused something different in the process." "hmm." Goku thought hard on this, especially since the copy referred to them as an endangerment. He pushed the thought out of his mind though as he tried to relax. He would have plenty of time to think about this in the future. Vegeta had come back inside while the children were visiting and Twilight noticed him walking down the steps. "Oh Vegeta, I almost forgot." Twilight started, "I met Rarity on my way into town and she gave me your suit and wanted me to give it to you." Twilight levitated the blue material over to Vegeta. "Thanks." He said as he was in a bad mood over what had happened over the course of the day.                                                                                                                Choose the next path! However because of the past shenanigans Twilight had completely forgotten to tell Goku and Vegeta what had happened in Canterlot. "So it was just some boring old meeting?" Vegeta asked. "Well, I wouldn't say that." Twilight replied. "But if your not a princess, then why did they ask you to attend the Princess Summit?" Dash asked from the kitchen. "This was a special meeting Dash, I had to explain the situation to all three princesses." Twilight responded. "Oh." Rainbow Dash had returned to the center room with a sandwich in hoof. "Now something I had forgotten to tell you two..." Twilight was pointing a hoof in Goku and Vegetas direction, "was that the princesses want to meet you both. So you need to go to Canterlot." "Today?" Vegeta asked. "Right now?" Goku added. "Yes, now you'll have to leave right away if want to catch the early train." Twilight said as she pulled two train tickets from her saddle bag and levitated them over to the two warriors. Vegeta gave Goku a confused look as he read his ticket, then returned his stare to Twilight. "Have you forgotten that we can fly." he stated. Twilights usual purple face turned a slight shade of red as she had forgotten this. "Oh...right." Vegeta sighed, "Come on Kakarot, lets get this over with." Vegeta nodded goodbye to Rainbow Dash and Goku gave a wave to Twilight as they took to the air and headed towards the big city on the side of the mountain. Twilight and Rainbow Dash watched the saiyans fly away but Twilight was confused on something. "Rainbow Dash, how long do you plan on staying with me?" "What? uhm..." Dash coughed a bit and then took off for her cloud house to make sure everything was still there.                                                                                                                  "Alright Kakarot, you let me handle the talking. We don't need you to mess things up around here." Vegeta told Goku while on their way to Canterlot. Goku returned a look to Vegeta, "Hey, fine by me...I'm just wondering if they have any good food at the palace." Vegeta sighed and smiled as they reached Canterlot and went in for a landing. It took longer for them to get there than what it should have although they weren't really pushing themselves very hard. The sun was moving into its setting position and began to wash over Canterlot in a light orange shade. It was difficult for them to tell what could have been the palace since most of the buildings looked similar to each other. "Hmm, what we need is a guard." Vegeta said to himself. What the two hadn't realized was they were drawing a decent crowd. Most were Unicorns but Earth ponies and Pegasi were there as well. The crowd split as three royal guards walked to where the saiyans were standing. "You two must be the visitors that the Princesses are expecting." "Yeah, that's us alright." Goku said louder than what he had intended. "Then come with us." The guards had turned around and were leading them to the palace, which they had surprising almost landing on. After the escort brought them down several hallways and up multiple stairs they stopped in front of a large double door with decorations all over it. "This is as far as we are suppose to take you. The Princesses will be inside." The guards turned around and headed back the way they came. "Wow, these Princesses must be really important." Goku said admiring the door. "No Kakarot, really? It's not like they're rulers or something." Vegeta said sarcastically as he pushed open the doors. What was on the other side was two alicorns talking to each other but cut their conversation short as their visitors came through the door. One of the princesses was a tall white alicorn with wavy hair and the other was shorter but still taller than an average pony. She was dark blue and also had wavy hair like the taller one. "Hello, you must be the saiyans that Twilight told us about, you may call me Celestia. I'm sorry to say that princess Cadence had to return to the Crystal Empire on urgent business." Celestia said in a formal fashion. "And I am Luna, I am glad to see thou had a safe journey." Luna added. "Hmm." Vegeta took a quick evaluation of the two then introduced who they were, "I'm Vegeta and this is Kakarot, but he prefers Goku." "That's right." Goku added. Vegeta turned his head towards Goku, "Kakarot, let me handle this." "What interesting names." Celestia said, "Why do you go by a different name?" she asked towards Goku. "Kakarot is his saiyan name and...it's a long story." Vegeta told her. "I see, please, tell me about yourselves." Celestia had a guard bring in some tea during their short conversation. Vegeta suddenly felt worried as to how they would take how he has lived his life, "Well I-" Vegeta was cut off by Luna. "My sister only wishes to know of your intensions. And do not think you will be able to get a lie past us." Luna explained. Vegeta loved a challenge but he would try to get a lie past them another day. Vegeta explained his life to the two princesses in detail. He told of the worlds he had conquered and the greater number of worlds he had destroyed. In addition to this he told how he had changed when he began to live on Earth. Goku on the other hand, told them all about his good deeds, recent accomplishments and the friends and family they had lost back home. They had also explained who Cell was in great detail. "My..." Luna managed, "This sort of magic is...unheard of." "I've never heard of it either." Celestia added. Vegeta was beginning to get annoyed with the assumption of magic, "It's not magic...Don't assume everything is magic." "But magic is all around us. It raises the sun." Celestia started. "And lowers the moon." Luna finished. Vegeta leaned towards Goku and whispered, "This is starting to sound like an old movie I watched with Bulma." "No kidding." Goku replied. He then asked, "So, why did you want to see us?" Celestia and Luna gave a quick look to each other and Celestia explained the situation in a more serious tone. "The one you called Cell must be trying to find a way here." "How could you know that?" Vegeta questioned. "It's strange...we both can feel an evil presence working it's way into our plane of existence." Celestia explained. "We thought that it may have been some sort of misreading on our part, but this explains it." "And it is much stronger than we are." Luna added. "Even the elements may prove powerless against this creature." "Well..." Goku began but was unsure if he should say his what was on his mind. "Go on. We don't judge bad ideas." Celestia said with a warm smile. "Well, back home we had these things called Dragon Balls. There were seven of them and when you gathered them together they would grant you a wish. Of course they had limitations, but wouldn't you think those would be nice to have." "Hmm...can you explain what they looked like." Celestia was interested in what Goku was explaining. "Sure, they were small spheres, like this." Goku shaped his hand as if he was holding one. "And they had stars on them, going from one to seven." The idea of these objects caught Celestias interest. "And when they were together, you would just say your wish?" she asked. "No. You would call out the eternal dragon and you would ask him for the wish." Celestia looked towards Luna and asked, "What do you think sister? Could we do it?" Luna was at loss and Celestia understood this, then looked back towards the saiyans. "We will do our best to create these, dragon balls. And maybe their power will be enough to help us against cell." Goku realized that he had given the wrong impression of the balls, "Well. Now, you see, the dragon balls won't solve our problems. Cells' just too strong for them to really have any effect. I was thinking more along the lines of using them to repair any damage that might come out of all this." "Then you two can stop him?" Luna asked. Vegeta turned around knowing the answer all too well to that question and Goku had put his hand behind his head, "Well uh, you see...we can't stop him either..." Luna began to loose her cool, "So we are all just to die then." "Sister please, calm down...besides, you have the moon you could hide on...I can't exactly stay on the sun." Celestia was trying to calm Luna, which worked and she even got a slight laugh from it. There was a pause in the room as everyone thought of a way to avoid disaster. Luna was the first to speak up. "What if we used a spell to increase your strength Goku, you would get it as well Vegeta." "Hmm, that definitely sounds better than being dead." Vegeta said starting to feel some hope and pride coming back. Goku looked towards Vegeta, "Yeah, but that doesn't seem right, or even fair." "WHAT! FAIR!...Kakarot you have got to be kidding me! He killed your son! My son! Our families! And yet, you still want to give him a fair chance!... You're crazy!" Celestia laughed to herself and walked over to Goku. The two stood close to each other and Goku was clearly taller, but her horn made it close. "I admire your character. You truly are honest to yourself and others around you." "I promise, Vegeta and I will find a way to beat this guy...we have to." Goku responded. "And I believe you." Vegeta and Luna were almost going crazy over this new development...It was such a good idea, how could Celestia and Goku want to pass it up. "Celestia." Goku said as Celestia sat back in her throne. "There's something I wanted to ask you." "Is it about you being cloned?" she asked. "Yeah. I wanted to ask if you knew anything about it. Maybe who would be behind it." "Well." Celestia hesitated as she thought. "It's possible that King Sombra is behind this since we're dealing with crystals but it's hard to say." Goku sighed. "So we're in uncharted territory, huh?" Luna cut in, "Uncharted? Are we not in Equestria?" "No no." Goku laughed. "It's a saying back on Earth. What I mean is we don't know where we stand." "I see." Luna was still struggling with the culture change from when she was imprisoned in the moon but was good at playing along. As Luna continued to think things over she had left the throne room and headed to her favorite place to raise the moon. Memories still lurked in the back of her mind. How she was turned into Nightmare Moon and how the moon had looked much different then usual when she raised it to block out Celestias sun. Luna only wanted to block out the sun and prove a point to her sister but something had possessed her and the Elements of Harmony brought her back to the way she was before, this was something she hoped would never happen again. Vegeta continued to stand to the side not caring that Goku had taken over the situation. He was actually kind of glad this happened, it gave him a chance to think things over. Something he couldn't understand was how a crystal copy of Goku could come out just as strong as them and then continue to grow in power as they fought it. And it had knowledge of them as well. Maybe not who they were exactly but it definitely identified their form. The other major thought he held was of Cell. That monster was working his way into Equestria and they were the only beings even close enough in power to stop him.                                                                                                      The day was growing later as Rainbow Dash finished off a quick salad she prepared herself for dinner and decided that she would return to the library since it was most likely the place that Goku and Vegeta would return to. She pet Tank on the head, "Hold the fort down while I'm gone, alright." Tank turned his head to the side and gave a smile of acknowledgment. "And no wild parties while I'm gone...Or at least wait for me to get back before you start it." Dash said as she closed the door to her cloud house and began to fly to the library. It was a beautiful evening. The clouds were standard cloudsdale sized and Rainbow Dash admired them greatly. The sun was slowly setting in the background causing orange streams of light to shine out over the sky, except... "What the hay?" Dash asked herself as a ray of sunlight seemed to be gleaming up from the ground and off away from ponyville. "I wonder what that could be? Maybe it's a jewel that somepony dropped. I bet Spike would love that, especially since he's worked so hard lately." Dash broke off from her flight path and landed near the crystal. It was clear, and had a white shade on some of the edges. It also held a different look to it then other crystals in the area. "Huh. Must be a rare one or something." Dash reached her hoof out to scoop up the gem but the crystal rolled away from her causing it to go down a slope it was near. "What? Get back here!" she jumped and used her wings to get some extra speed to catch to the crystal which she pulled off perfect as it came to a stop at the bottom of the hill. While she was holding it a sudden tingling sensation rushed through her body causing her to drop the crystal and stare at her front hooves. "What was that?" she asked herself. "I don't know." Rainbow Dash jumped up and almost fell onto her face as she heard the words come out of nowhere. "Who said that?" she said continuing to look in the direction of ponyville. "Me." "Me who?" Dash asked. "Hmm, I'm not sure. Hold on." Suddenly Dash felt a cold chill run down her spine as she recognized the voice and realized that it was coming from behind her. "Oh yeah, it's Rainbow Dash." Dash turned around to find herself looking face to face with...herself. "That's not possible." Dash said quietly. The copy smiled. "Oh no." Dash looked for the crystal but it couldn't be found, she then turned her attention back to the copy. "You know something." The copy said in Dash's voice. "And my boss would love to get his hooves on what you know." "W-w-wwhat do you mean? I don't know anything!" Dash continued to stare at the copy which took a step forward still smiling. "Please don't tell me you're like that copy of Goku." "Oh so you met that thing. What was it's name? Goku? How weird. See that's the kind of stuff my boss wants to know. His plans to rule Equestria were going so smoothly until those creatures showed up." the copy held an arrogant tone. "How did they mess up his plans?" Dash asked with hesitation. "Look, I don't know the specifics but it's something about them. Just them being here is messing things up. My boss can tell you better than I can, I can't wait for you to meet him!" "Whoa hey wait." Dash started, "I already said I don't know anything, you want Twilight. She's the egghead around here." "Ha! Yeah right. Did you see what she did to that crystal copy of one of those creatures. No thanks, I'm staying away from her. Also I hope you don't mind, but this is the part where I have to knock you out." "What!" Dash leaped away narrowly avoiding the quick advance from the copy. Dash took the sky with the copy in hot pursuit, she decided the best course of action was to head to the library. Twilight could fix this. She can fix anything. Dash's train of thought was cut short by the copy who had cut her off with incredible speed. Time seemed to come to a stand still as the copy made a direct hit on Dash's' neck causing her to blackout immediately. The last words she heard as she fell to the ground were, "Oh, my boss is going to love you, strong headed and strong bodied! Literally, what the buck are you made of, that hit actually hurt."
