Chapter 1 : A Strange Regeneration - IN PROGRESS
After the Doctor saved Clara he carried her back to the TARDIS to take her home, as the TARDIS started to fade into oblivion, something went horribly wrong inside. Red lights flashing in the Doctor’s face and loud alarms blasting noise around the whole TARDIS then a sudden bang, the TARDIS had crashed.The impact badly injured the Doctor forcing him to regenerate, forgetting to check to see if Clara was alive as she was on the floor also injured from the impact but the Doctor didn't notice Clara had changed, it was too late when he saw Clara and the Doctor had also changed into what she had. As Clara regains consciousness she looks at the Doctor with confusion.
"D-...Doctor is that you? What happened?", asked Clara.
"What are you talking about Clara? What happened to you? I only regenerated",replied the Doctor, not knowing that he too was a human inside a pony's body. The Doctor looked into a mirror, and seeing he looks the same as Clara he exclaimed,"This is amazing, I need to do some tests!"
Walking over to the TARDIS Dashboard, he turns on the monitor to look outside but what he saw wasn't earth, it was a unknown world with no people but ponies, The Doctor assumes its safe to exit the TARDIS.
The Doctor and Clara exits the TARDIS to see thick black smoke rising out of the TARDIS.
"Oh well that's not good now is it", said the Doctor.
"How long will we be stuck here?", asked Clara. "Until the TARDIS repairs itself", replied the Doctor.
As the two turn around they are approached by a pink mare who was bouncing up and down.
"Oh is that a photo booth?, can i go inside?, please please please" Asked the strange mare who was speaking really fast, "Oh goody this must be one of the residents of this town" said the Doctor to Clara.
"Who might you be?" asked Clara, "Oh I'm Pinkie Pie and I love to PARTY!" replied Pinkie
"And what are your names?", asked Pinkie curiously.
"Well I'm the Doctor and this is My good friend Clara", replied the Doctor.
"Doctor what? You can’t just be called ‘The Doctor’, that’s stupid!" exclaimed Pinkie.
"It’s not stupid" replied the Doctor.
Clara turned towards The Doctor and said, "Yeah it is".
The Doctor shouted, "HEY! That’s not fair! I thought you liked my name".
The Doctor tries to think of a new name to go under while in the alternate universe, all he can think of is: Doctor who? Doctor who? "I got it!" exclaimed The Doctor.
“I shall be known as Doctor Whooves”
"That's still the same name" said Pinkie, "Does it really matter?" mumbled the Doctor
Pinkie offered to show the two around Ponyville because Pinkie had never seen the two before and instantly thought they were new. The Doctor took this opportunity to see around and try figure out where he was, the Doctor asked Pinkie where they were.
"In Ponyville silly" replied Pinkie the Doctor still confused asked " Yes but where is that?"
"WHAT! Have you been living under a rock?" exclaimed Pinkie "We're in Equestria"
The Doctor looks towards Clara and says "Equestria must be their version of our earth"
Clara looks at the Doctor and replies "Oh you don't say"
During the tour the Doctor stayed at the library to try learn more about Equestria, There he met a purple mare named Twilight Sparkle, who was amazed at how fast the Doctor could read a book, at first she thought he was just flicking through the pages. but by asking a question on why he goes through books like that she gets a answer
"I'm a Timelord I can read a book by flicking through all the pages"
Twilight was shocked by the word Timelord, she had read about them in a book over 1000 years old, the book states.
"When Equestria is in Grave Danger that the elements of harmony cannot stop, a man from a unknown universe will appear in the form of a pony, this species is called a Timelord"
Twilight rushes to get the book as the Doctor did not know why he was here, once she found the book she called over the Doctor, as the doctor walks up to Twilight, she shoves the book right into his face and yells "read this line" pointing to a page that was made to last. As the Doctor read the line he knows what could happen if he doesn't to something, although he cannot leave until the TARDIS has repaired itself.
