I woke up with the feeling of a nice, cool breeze upon my face. But, then i found there was a problem; I never feel this kind of breeze when i wake up.
My eyes shot open I was alone in an old, crumbling castle in what appeared to be the throne room. All I could manage to yell was, "Hello?" My voice echoed through the halls and there was no answer of any life around me. So, I did what any other sensible person would do in an old castle is get up and look for an exit. But, then I felt that my shirt got longer, to see that I had some kind of robes on. Before I had even started to question the robes, I was determined to find a way out of this castle. When I entered the halls I noticed a door was ajar.
I walked closer to the door and heard the sounds of . . . snoring?. I opened the door to see that it was some kind of person in the leather armour from Skyrim, with a pair of ordinary steel daggers.
I walked closer to the body and flipped it, to notice it was my friend Logan, at that moment I got relieved to see a friendly face. I started trying to wake him up, "Logan! Logan! Wake up!" noticing that wasn't working I just yelled "Look there's a page of Rule34 up!" After that his eyes shot open and he darted up with the enthusiasm that matches Pinkie Pie.
"Where? Where is the page godammit!?"
"Woah, calm down it's not even real I just said it to wake you up."
"Oh. Wow your a dick, wait where are we?"
"That was what I was trying to figure out, but I found you."
So, I helped him up and we started going through the castle trying to find an exit.
Meanwhile...
I've been walking through these halls for what seems like hours. When I woke I noticed the higher amount of weight on my shoulders from this set of iron armour, that was on me when I woke. I had mumbled to myself, "How much longer 'till this cave ends, and why am I here?" When it seemed like the hall was ending I came to a split hall going in two directions. Since i really had nothing to lose, except my time, I went right, and to my surprise, I found an armoury. I had also just noticed that I had no weapons or a shield. So I looked inside for a peak to see what I would find. To my surprise i had found a person in cloth armour with a ordinary wooden bow and some arrows that looked like iron.
"Hey! What are you doing here?"
"Avery, is that you?"
"Billy? Finally someone that I know in this barren castle."
"Yea, I've been scrounging around for weapons and such. Oh, and here I found you these."
It was a simple steel sword and an iron shield, which I had taken with maybe a small bit of glee. But, now the problem was finding a way out of this place.
"So which way should we go?"
"I've got no idea but we should probably just go forward through this hallway."
"Ok, I guess we'll just going wherever instinct takes us."
On the opposite end of the hall...
We've been walking for quite a while, but, I think we're close to the exit and I thought I heard a few echoes of some voices but that might have Logan's and mine. But, then my suspicions of the other voices were becoming a reality when I heard the voices of what seemed like, Avery's and Billy's. After I confirmed that the voices were getting closer I broke out in a full on sprint needing to see if i wasn't going insane, while yelling at Logan to hurry up. While we were running I wasn't looking in front of me and I had ran into Avery and we fell to the ground and tumbled in front of a door.
"Holy shit! Avery is that you?!"
"Bro, we thought we were going insane 'cause we kept hearing your voices."
"Well it looks like we found another door, why don't you two get up and check it out?"
"Why us?"
"Just get up and check."
"Alright, alright, I'll check."
When I opened that door the sun had irritated my eyes for a moment but, it buffed out within a few moments. I had walked out into the open and immediately knew where we were . . . the middle of the Everfree Forest. At, first I was at awe,but then that turned to shock as I noticed we were in the middle of a forest with a bunch of monsters and deadly monsters.
"Guys? You know where we are right?"
"You can't be serious."
"Well look for yourself it looks pretty real to me."
"Well what do we do know?"
"Find a way out of the forest of course."
"It's going to be that easy?"
At that moment I kinda wanted to slap Billy, but, I had to deal with the matter at hand. After situating which direction we were heading I looked for a sign to lead us somewhere. To my surprise I found a sign post with a sign pointing towards a path going left, but, the signs location was gone, probably from rot and such. Soon, we were heading down the path to who knows where, but, hopefully civilization. What was perplexing me while walking was, "Why are we in Equestria" and "What's up with the armour and weapons?" After a while I just started to go with it, but, it started to get dark and we needed somewhere to sleep and eat.
"Guys, we need to find someplace to make camp because it's almost nightfall."
"Well I don't see any clearings our a place that's not out in the open to make camp."
"Hey, how about over here?"
The spot was perfect it had leaf coverage from any random dangers that stalk the roads, and it was roomy enough for the four of us. The only problem was that we didn't have a fire, or food. Since, we didn't find anything in the castle that was edible we had to go to sleep hungry.
"I would suggest eating some of the fruits on the bushes, but, I don't think that's very safe."
"We also don't have a fire."
"Well I don't know what to do; do you see any flint and a rock around?"
When I finished asking that question I heard a rustle in the brush. Since no one else probably wouldn't do it, I got up and went to check, but I had everyone keep their weapons ready. I was two feet from the bush when a Timberwolf jumped out and it would have taken my head, if I didn't duck. But, that left an anger wolf made of sticks in the middle of our camp.
"Well, don't just stand there attack!"
After I yelled another Timberwolf had pounced directly at me. I had put my hands out, trying to stop my demise, when I felt an immense heat coming from my hands. When I looked up the Timberwolf was flailing on the ground trying to extinguish itself. At that moment I just thought, "I can shoot fire from my hands?! Fuck yea!" I turned to see that Avery had the other wolf clam to his forearm brace and was swinging his sword at it's side. So I had stepped up to the wolf and put my hands up but nothing came out this time. At this point I was befuddled, why wasn't anything coming from my hands? Then I thought what if I thought of fire? After that I thought of a source of fire, like a campfire, and to my amazement there was fire burning the vile creature and the wood had fallen into to a nice campfire for the four of us.
"Woah! Bro, since when could you do that?"
"It probably comes with being in this world, but, now we have a campfire to keep us warm."
"Yea, but, still no food."
"Like, I said I don't trust any of the fruits here so we might as well go to sleep hungry."
And with that, we all had fallen asleep, in probably the most uncomfortable places ever.
The next morning...
We had awoke the next morning, feeling horrible. Partly because of no food and i had slept in iron armour on through the whole night. But, Brian, had insisted that we immediately get moving as to not waste any daylight. With a bit of grumpiness, the rest of us had groggily gotten up and started the walk down the path again. It was really quiet for the majority of the first, maybe, half-hour of the walk until Logan had asked Brian,
"Brian, how can you be that awake, with that much energy, when you went to sleep hungry and cold?" And, he was right Brian did seem to have a lot of energy pent up in him.
"I'm used to sleeping in uncomfortable places, but, that was a little more than I've ever been, and I just normally have this much energy everyday."
Two Hours Later...
"We've been walking forever when does this path end?"
"Oh, stop complaining it's only been maybe two, two and a half hours.
"That's still a long time."
"Hey there looks like there's something in the distance."
We all looked up to see, what looked like a broken wagon. We had started approaching it when we heard,
"Ah, now you see what you did Mulberry?"
"Hey, how was I supposed to know that the wheel was going to give out like that?"
I started telling everyone to stop and not get any closer but Brian had went around the cart and scared the living crap out of the two ponies.
"AHH! It's one of those monsters from the forest!"
"Shut up Mulberry, this doesn't look like anything we've seen, and he also looks sentient. I'm terribly sorry about my friend her but the name's Thunder."
"Why aren't you weirded out that some creature from another universe is standing in front of you."
"What would the point be? You look like you need some help with those dirty robes and by the sounds your stomach is making, you seem hungry."
This pegasus seems to know more than he's letting on. I had started walking towards Brian, and then Thunder noticed me and the others.
"Ah, I see you have some friends, well we are burnin' daylight and the next towns a few miles from here, and there's no fixing the wagon we might as well carry the stuff to the next town."
"Aw, do we really have to carry the goods to town, Thunder?"
"Really, Mulberry do you want to fix the wagon's wheel?"
"Oh, never mind."
The earth pony seemed to be really dumb, from what I was seeing.
"Oh, right I almost forgot about you four, would you mind helping us with our bags."
"Sure, I guess but what is the town we're headed to."
"Oh, The town my friend and I, were going to was Manehatten."
"Well, do we get something out of helping you with this stuff."
"Avery, that's rude to ask!"
Thunder had let out a hearty laugh and had said, "Oh, it's fine, when we get to town, I'll give you some bits to get you fellows, some food and a hotel room for a night."
"Well this sounds promising"
So we had picked up a few bags each and started the long, few miles to Manehatten.
"Well shit, I thought you had that!", an over-excited voice, one better known as Brian, yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Well, I'm sorry, but you know Aatrox is able to jump out of range of any of us," his friend stated, but with some irritation in his voice.
"Brian, Avery will you two stop arguing and just get back into the game?"
With very clear anger in his words, "Billy, we almost had him and this was, what, the fifth time this happened, with a clear chance Avery was able to kill him."
"Hey! Dirtbags, get to the base they're almost done taking down the nexus turret."
"Ah, shit, sorry Logan, we're on our way."
Within, maybe a minute or two, the other team managed to take down everything and win the game.
"God dammit well there's another loss for the books."
"Well, we were put up against really hard champions to fight."
Alas, that was true, the other team consisted of a top lane Darius, mid lane Heimerdinger, bottom lane Nami and Varus, and an Evelynn jungle.
"You know your right, I'm gonna go to bed talk to you guys later"
"Alright Brian, you know same here, so i bid you good night."
"I guess everyone needs some sleep, so goodbye Logan, Avery, Billy."
"Brian I thought you were gone and why did you state us all"
"I don't know but I'm ending the Skype call."
And, with that the call had been ended, but what awaits our four characters is yet to come.
