Rainbow Dash meets Slender Mane

Rainbow Dash woke up and glanced all around her. No scary monsters to be seen. The rainbow-maned mare yawned, stretched then jumped out of bed. Then Rainbow suddenly realized something. Food. Buuuck, Rainbow thought miserably. There was probably food in the trees or something but Rainbow didn't want to risk flying out and getting caught by that monster that nearly killed her. But wait, was that just a dream? Rainbow paced the tree house, pondering on what she should do. She couldn't just starve, she had to find some food, no matter the cost.

Rainbow peeked out of the tree house door, looking down, below at the bottom of the ladder. That slender pony was no where to be seen. Rainbow gingerly started easing herself down the ladder. I guess ponies don't understand physics? Rainbow was now at the bottom of the ladder and hopped onto the ground. She started trotting away from the tree house and glanced up at all the trees, trying to find some food latched onto those branches. But only leaves were to be seen. "Ugh!" Rainbow shouted in frustration, kicking some fallen leaves. Some alerted birds flew out of a tree, squawking in alarm.

Then Rainbow's ear twitched as she heard some hoof-steps trudging the ground. Rainbow gave a excited 'squee' as she noticed a figure was slowly approaching. The figure looked like a pony, a big pony. But Rainbow was too happy to notice. Finally, somepony else was here to hopefully guide her back to Ponyville! It might even be one of her friends! As the figure came into view Rainbow's eyes zoomed to a very small size. Her jaw dropped and she started uncontrollably shaking. It was that beast that tried to kill her!

"AAAAAGH!" Rainbow screamed, galloping in a different direction. Slender Mane teleported in front of her, one of his hoofs outstretched towards poor Rainbow. "Stay back," Rainbow shakily commanded, backing away. Out of no where she tripped on a small rock and fell over backwards. Slender Mane still approaching, Rainbow blackened out in a scared faint.

Rainbow Dash awoke back in her tree house bed, the world spinning like a fast merry-go-round. Rainbow blinked and sat up, her blurred vision becoming clearer by the second. "Wha, what happened?" Rainbow asked aloud. A buzzing, propeller sort of sound answered her and she frowned. Where was that coming from? Then a familiar tortoise landed on the bed. Rainbow's eyes widened. "Tank?! What are you doing here?" she asked. Tank just gave her a slow smile. Wait a minute, did this mean...?

Rainbow once again gave a happy 'squee' of delight. Were her friends searching for her in the forest? Even if they weren't, Rainbow still beamed with happiness.
