Call of the wild

The rest of the evening past without incident, I heard many ponies come and go from the floor below, I sat in the bed leaning over the side listening to all the different voices, until about 8pm i noticed it had all quieted down, I still heard a few random conversations take place but realised it must be Bon Bon and Lyra, however Lyra had not returned upstairs for quite sometime, When she did it was the look of sadness that a noticed first.

I leaned back against the headboard of the bed as i hear hoofsteps come up the stairs, I hear small rap on the door, if i was asleep i would never had heard it.

"It's open," I call, Lyra opens the door looking somewhat embarressed, "Lyra, Whats wrong?," I ask.

"I-I...," She looks around the room, "I just what to apologise for my actions earlier," She looks to the ground.

"Apologise?" I reply.

"Yes. I didn't mean for it to get so 'heated'," She looks up at me with small tears forming, "It just felt so good..." She trails off.

"You did?" Lyra now sits closer, "I mean, thats good," I sense the aroma again.

"Lyra, Why did you apologise?" I ask.

"I was too force full, I should have asked first," Lyra sits next to the bed and lays a hand on my good arm.

I laugh causing Lyra to look confused, "But Lyra, you did ask," I say after calming down, "You asked me if you could make it better, and i agreed, so no harm done, though my wing has felt better since you done that," giving my wing a small flex.

"Oh i'm so glad," Lyra's face now beams with a smile, I lean towards her until our noses almost touch, Lyra slightly moves her head back,

"I would like you to do it again, If your not to busy," I give her a smile, our faces remain close and i feel a increase of warmth radiating from her.

"I...Um would like to be of help...but Bon Bon is still home, maybe when she's not here," she returns my smile.

After Lyra leaves the room i get a visit from Bon Bon who just puts down a tray of food for me before walking out, it was strange it was like Bon Bon was intentionaly avoiding me. "Lyra, What are you doing?" She is still frozen in place, I look to the clock, "It's 3am," I say rubbing my eye's.

I block it out, I turn out the light and sit there thinking, next two days are going to be one hell of a ride.
