The Saving of Celestiaby DerpyDash98ChaptersChapter IChapter IIChapter IIIChapter VChapter VIChapter VIIChapter IVChapter IChapter I Twilight Sparkle woke up startled, she'd had a nightmare where Princess Celestia's castle was being invaded by shrouded ponies in black cloaks and they took the princess hostage, but this nightmare, it was almost as if she was there watching the event take place before her eyes. It was very unusual "Spike! wake up!" she shouted. Spike, Twilight's assisstant dragon, woke up shouting "I'm sorry twilight! did I oversleep?", she replied "no its okay Spike I just need a favour, would you take a letter?" "at 8 in the morning? I mean, I literally just woke up" Spike said with an uncertain tone, Twilight replied "I'm very sorry but is urgent I write a letter to the princess straight away", "ok Twilight" Spike said as Twilight used her unicorn magic to get a scroll and a quill out of the drawer. Twilight recited the letter "Dear Princess celestia, I had a nightmare last night, it was very worrying, I saw your castle in Canterlot and there were a group of shrouded ponies sneaking around in black cloaks, they kidnapped you and escaped with ease. please reply as soon as possible. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle." Spike continued to roll up the letter and blow it into the air as it turned into green smoke and flew away out the window, in to direction of the royal castle in Canterlot. In the royal castle Princess Celestia was at the window watching over her knigdom, when a green mist came through the window and turned into a scroll, she opened it and read. When she had finished reading it she was very shocked... She'd heard of unicorns being able to see the future in dreams before but only in old mares tales and if her vision was true then the castle would be under attack any second! The regal Princess Celestia walked to the door and told her butler "go downstair and tell everypony to keep their eyes peeled especially the gaurds, there may be danger on the way" She quickly wrote a reply to Twiight. The sun was setting over Cloudsdale as Rainbow Dash woke up on a cloud and all her pegasus friends were flying around and practicing tricks, she heard a sound, it was very quiet. "Rainbow Dash! come quickly" it was Twilight, only just being able to shout up from the ground. Rainbow Dash got up from her cloud and flew down to the ground "Twilight? what do you want?" she asked, "its urgent you need to come with me I'll Explain after we gather everypony, come on!" Twilight replied. Rainbow Dash yawned and flew after them as they trotted away. At Rarity's house Opalescence was meowing at her and wouldn't stop. "can't a girl get some beauty sleep?" Rarity moaned while Opal was scratching at the floor making an annoying noise "okay, okay, okay I'll feed you already!" said Rarity as she got up and went over to the kitchen, Sweetie Belle was at Appleblooms sleepover party so Rarity had the morning to herself. She used her unicorn magic to get out the cat food tin from the cupboard and she empied it into Opal's bowl, Opal went to work fiercely eating her food. Knock! knock! knock! someone was at the door. "who is it?" Rarity called. "Its Twilight, let me in!" Twilight replied from the door, "oh, ok" said rarity as she opened the door with her magic. Twilight, Spike and Rainbow Dash all walked in. "why are you all here?" Rarity said with a hint of curiosity in her words. "It's super important! you NEED to come NOW" blurted out Rainbow Dash "I'll explain when we've got Pinkie, Applejack and Fluttershy with us" said Twilight "there goes a morning to myself..." At Sugar Cube Corner Pinkie Pie and Applejack were eating. Twilight walked in and said "you guys, what are you doing?", "were having brunch!" said Pinkie Pie. "Brunch? whats that?" asked Spike, "Its not quite breakfast its not Quite lunch, Brunch!" said Pinkie Pie, "do you want me to sing you my Brunch song?" "no thanks Pinkie now isnt the time, we've got to go!" said Twilight eagerly. "Go where?" asked Applejack, "to get Fluttershy!, I'll explain at her cottage" answered Twilight. Fluttershy was out feeding the chickens when she heard hooves on the ground then just over the hill she could see everypony trotting steadily towards her they looked as if the were very serious about something. "Fluttershy! Twilight has important news!" shouted Rainbow Dash "oh, is it good news or bad news?, I like good news." said Fluttershy almost whispering, "sorry, bad news" said Twilight reluctantly... Chapter IIChapter II Twilight told her story... "It all started when I had this nightmare, it was of the Royal Castle in Canterlot being invaded by shrouded ponies in black cloaks" "ooh scary!" said Pinkie Pie "Pinkie!" twilight said, annoyed. "well these shrouded ponies were invading the castle and they took the Princess hostage!, I woke up and sent the Princess a letter telling her of my nightmare, she replied and told me that I may have inhereted powers from one of my great decendants that let me see the future in my dreams, I cant controll the ability it just happens from time to time, well she thinks we need to get to her as quickly as possible to make sure this nightmare dosen't come true" "Wow" said everypony after hearing the story, "Well then lets be on our way!" said applejack enthusiastically Celestia was anxious "when will they be here?" she muttered to herself, she kept looking out the window and at the door, checking for 'shrouded ponies' as Twilight had mentioned in her nightmare. The Princess heard a noise, footsteps, she was very worried now, she hid behind the bedside table (which was about a tenth of her size) and the door opened, she was too afraid to look. then there was a flash of light, then nothing. She couldnt see anything, she couldnt hear anything, except for heavy breathing, that was it. She was scared, more scared than she'd ever been in her life. There was a banging noise, it sounded like it was coming from far away, then it got quieter gradually. Eventually it faded and she realised it was a banging headache and she had a large bruise on the back of her head, then she realised, she had been kidnapped. Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, Applejack and Fluttershy were on the earliest train to Canterlot, the car they were in wasn't big enough for all of them so Fluttershy and Rarity went into the Dining Car to get food for all of them. "I Hope the Princess is ok when we get to the castle" said Applejack "It'll be fine Applejack! you've got me! remember?" exclaimed Rainbow Dash "oh yeah right, we'll all be fine" said Applejack sarcasically "If we get to the castle in time then all we have to do is protect the Princess and get her to safety" said Twilight. "yeah, but what if we don't get there it time?" asked Applejack, who obviously needed some sleep. "then we'll just have to find her wont we. Applejack you get some rest and we'll wake you up when we arrive at the castle. In the Dining Car Fluttershy was ordering food "umm, please could we umm, have 6, hay sandwitches please?" she asked. "okay, coming right up" said the pony behind the counter. "I wonder if the princess is okay" said fluttershy "oh she'll be fine" Rarity replied "even if she's gone it wont be too hard getting her back" "oh, ok" said Fluttershy. The waiter pony brought them a plate of sandwitches, "thank you" said Rarity they walked back into the other car and put the plate down on a little table, "me and Applejack have aleady had brunch, silly!" said Pinkie Pie "oh yes! I forgot" said Rarity. "I'll have those then!" said Spike "go on then" said twilight. The train stopped in Caterlot train station and everypony got off, "quick! to the castle!" said Rainbow Dash as she flew off "wait! we need to stick together! shouted Twilight, but Rainbow Dash had already flew half way across Canterlot They walked to the castle and couldnt find Rainbow Dash anywhere at all, when they arrived something was very strange, there were no gaurds at the main gate and no gaurds on the castle walls, there should have been hundreds, Applejack opened the gate and there was no one inside the castle either, it was quite spooky. "where is everyone?" asked Pinkie Pie. They walked up the stairs to find Rainbow Dash trying to open the Princesses room door, "why did you zoom off like that earlier?" asked Rarity. "because I needed to see if the Princess was ok" she answered. Twilight used her magic to unlock the door from the other side and it opened, there was no sign of the princess at all she was gone. "we were too late! how could this happen?" asked Fluttershy "we need to find her, everypony look for anything that could help us" said Twilight and everypony started to search the room. Chapter IIIChapter III Everypony searched and serached and searched, but couldnt find anything. When they were leaving they heard a sound, crying gently, it was coming from the room next to Celestia's, there was a sign on the door that read 'Princess Luna' "oh yeah! luna's room is here" exclaimed Rainbow Dash "why is she the only one here?" said Pinkie Pie "hmm" thought Twilight "maybe she could help us find Princess Celestia" Twilight opened the door and there was luna sitting by the bed crying into the sheets, "are you ok?" asked Twilight, "oh, thank the moon your here! quick save Celestia they took her down that road!" cried Luna. "were on it" said Twilight as they all left the room and hurried down the road which Luna had pointed out. Celestia woke up in a daze with a blindfold on, she atleast expected it to be a blindfold because she couldnt see anything just darkness, then she realised she wasn't blindfolded she was just in a very dark room, she could make out the frame of a door and the outline of a table, then the lightscame on it was blinding bright to her eyes because she'd been in the dark so long, there was a pony at the door who had taken off their black cloak. The pony had brown fur and a dark red mane and tail, they looked younger than her. "were am I?" Princess Celestia groaned. "shut up" said the pony, he was a male. "who are you?" asked the Princess "didn't you hear me? I said shut up" his voice sounded a little angrier. "why did you kidnap me?" asked the Princess "Im gonna lose my patience in a moment if you don't stop asking questions!" said the pony, this time he was very angry. another pony walked in and whispered something to the other pony, who nodded and walked out of the room. This new pony had blue fur and a black mane and a black tail. "well, well, well, Princess Celestia" said the pony this on was female "care to tell us anything?" "tell you what?" asked the Princess "You know what!" shouted the female pony "wheres the crown of the sun!" "the crown!" gasped the Princess "what would you want with the crown of the sun?" "its power, of course!" said the pony "but you cant harness it power without the crown of the moon" said the Princess "which we have" said the female pony, with a smug grin on her face she put a black crown on the table it was beautyfully made with curls and carves. It had a picture of the moon on the front. "how did you get that!" exclaimed Princess Celestia, "lets just say, your little sister isn't the best at keeping things safe" said the female pony, "Luna!" cried the Princess "what have you done with her?" "oh she's fine, we left her at the castle, she's not as important as you, see" said the male pony as he walked back into the room. "I'll never tell you were the crown of the sun is!" Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy were running down the road at full speed to get to Celestia. "how are we even going to find her anyway? we've got a minor lead but thats all" asked rarity, "don't worry we'll find her" Twilight said reassuringly. they kept going down the road until they saw an old abandoned shack and they thought they'd investigate. "Look in there! I bet Celestia's in there!" shouted Rainbow Dash "shh! not so loud" Twilight said, " you'll give us away" "oh yeah sorry" whispered Rainbow Dash they crept up to the back door of the shack but it was boarded up, so was the front door, but then Pinkie Pie noticed something, "look, theres a cellar door" "yes!" said Applejack it was a little hatch on the corner of the house, they opened it and walked down some steps. They found a door, past the door there was a room with a table and a chair, on the table there was a note, it read 'your too late, if you want your Princess back then give us the crown of the sun' Twilight gasped, "the crown of the sun!" she said "if they already have the crown of the moon then if they get the crown of the sun they will have ultimate power" "whats the crown of the sun?" asked Rainbow Dash, "theres two crowns, the crown of the moon and the crown of the sun, if you have both then you can use their power to do anything" Twilight answered. "even fly without wings?" asked Pinkie Pie "yes" Twilight answered "cool!" Pinkie Pie said "well how are we supposed to know were the crown of the sun is?" asked Fluttershy "It'll be in the vault at the royal castle" said Twilight "we'd better head back there then" said Applejack "yes, straight away" Rarity said. They left the abandoned shack and hurried back to the castle. "here it is, the crown of the sun" said Twilight "we've got to find the princess, I have an Idea" "spike take a letter" spike got a scroll and a quill and started writing "Dear the Princesses kidnappers we have the crown of the sun, meet us at the abandoned shack and we'll negociate" spike rolled up the letter and blew it into the air turning it into green mist. The letter was on its way. Chapter VChapter V Rarity woke in a field, her rear right leg hurt and she could smell burning and smoke. She looked down at her leg, it was bleeding, she could see the burning remains of the shack. She tried to stand up and fell over, a surge of pain went through her leg and she screamed, her leg bled even more, now there was a small puddle of blood under her, she felt sick. she gathered up all the power in her body and stood up, it hurt even more this time, but she didn't fall over. she limped towards the wrecked shack. She heard a very quiet sound, talking, the closer she got the louder it was. It sounded like Pinkie Pie and Twilight and Rainbow Dash. She finally got close enough to hear what they were saying, "Raritys missing, the kidnapper got away with Celestia and the crown of the suns vanished!" it was Pinkie pie talking to Twilight , who looked almost unconsious, she could see Applejack and Fluttershy both on the floor bleeding. Then she noticed it, the crown of the sun, on the floor tattered and charred, she picked it up with her magic and it glowed, it was suddenly clean. "hey look! theres Rarity!" shouted Rainbow Dash, "Rarity!" shouted Pinkie Pie Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were the only consious ponies there. "uh... w-w-what h-happened..." mumbled Rarity. "everythings gone crazy!" said Rainbow Dash "one of them shadow twin people died, the other one got away with the princess, everyponies hurt and the sun crowns missing!" Rarity showed them the crown and said "I found the c-crown" "great, now we need to find out were the shadow guy went with the Princess" said Rainbow Dash. "i'm gonna go and search the wreckage" Rarity looked around and Twilight was unconcious, she had a large bruise on her forehead, Fluttershy had been cut in the cheek by a piece of glass and the dead female's knife was stuck in Applejacks flank. Fluttershy woke up, she looked terrible. "w-what happened?" Fluttershy could only just manage the words. "dont speak, it'll only make you tired" said Rarity "o-ok" whispered Fluttershy and she went back to sleep. Applejack was bleeding too much, Rarity though "what should I do?" she went to Rainbow Dash and helped search the ruins, she looked around the whole wreckage and eventually she found a little first aid box in a cupboard, just what she wanted!, and she went out to Applejack and got to work. First Rarity got the knife out of Applejacks flank, blood poured out faster than anything, Rarity had to think fast, she wrapped a bandage around the wound and it stopped bleeding. she went over to Fluttershy and dabbed her cut with a tissue "is everyone ok?" whispered Fluttershy "don't worry about them, they'll be fine" said Rarity "ok" whispered Fluttershy. Twilight finally woke up she was dazed, "Rarity! your ok!" said Twilight Rarity looked back at her leg and said "yes, kind of" Twilight gasped and said "what happened to your leg?" "its nothing, are you ok?" asked Rarity "my head hurts a bit but otherwise im fine" replied Twilight. "good, I say we all get some rest and then set off to find the Princess in the morning" said Rarity. Rarity went to the wreckage to find Rainbow Dash and see if she'd found anything. "Rainbow Dash?" called Rarity "are you there?" "Right down here Rarity" shouted Rainbow Dash "I think i've found something, it's a map, marked with locations; safehouse A, safehouse B and safehouse C." "perfect! now we can find the princess" exclaimed Rarity. Rainbow Dash and Rarity went back to Pinkie Pie and told her about the map. Then they all got some sleep. In the morning everypony felt a little better even Applejacks wound looked better. Everypony gathered around the little campfire Pinkie Pie made and they discussed what to do next. "ok, so we have a map of where the Princess will be taken next" said Rainbow Dash "is everyone fit to travel?" "yes" said everypony. "okay then I say we sneak in through the back" said Rainbow Dash "agreed" said Twilight. They packed up everything the had and left for 'Safehouse B'. Chapter VIChapter VI Everypony was walking down the path that the map showed. If the map was correct Princess Celestia should be in Safehouse B and if not she will be in safehouse C. They kept on going, assuming checkpoint A was the abandoned shack. They finally arrived at Checkpoint B, it was a cave. "there goes sneaking through the back" said Rainbow Dash they walked in, it was quite dark, the only light they had was the daylight coming from the cave entrance so Twilight figured if it was nightime it would be pitch black in here. they carried on walking into the cave, it seemed like they would never get to the end, "how long is this cave?" asked Pinkie Pie. They eventually got to the end of the cave, there was a table and chair and on the table was the exact same map as Rainbow Dash found in the wreckage of the abandoned shack, but this on hap 'Checkpoint A' circled and there was some scrawled writing that said 'you are here'. "oh, no" said Twilight "if this is Checkpoint A" "Then the kidnapper will come here with the Princess!" Rainbow Dash finished Twilights scentence. "thats good, but bad at the same time" said Rarity. Everypony looked around for useful things in the cave, but there was nothing. "I thing everypony should get some rest, our wounds aren't fully healed" suggested Twilight. Fluttershy was woken up by a noise, it sounded like walking hooves outside the cave. She walked to the cave entrance to see if there was anything there, nothing, she looked around, still nothing. Fluttershy thought to herself, "must have been my imagination" and she went back into the cave, but while she was walking back in she heard it again, she looked back. Bang! she was hit on the head by something, she blacked out. When fluttershy came to she was lying on the floor, her head was pounding, she turned to see the kidnapper sneaking up to the others, while they were sleeping. "Leave them alone!" Fluttershy shouted, it hurt her head, but she had to protect her friends, "HEY, I SAID LEAVE THEM ALONE!" she shouted even louder this time, the kidnapper wouldn't do anything, Fluttershy threw a rock, it hit the kidnapper in the back. "ow!" said the kidnapper "what was that for?" "That! was for the Princess" fluttershy said, she threw another rock "and THAT was for Applejack!". Fluttershy got up, she felt angrier than ever. "ouch!" the kidnapper said as he threw a rock back. Fluttershy caught it and threw it back. She walked up to the kidnapper and kicked him as hard as possible. Everypony else woke up. "Fluttershy? whats going on?" said Twilight, "Help me get rid of him!" said Fluttershy. Twilight used her magic to pull the rocks down inbetween fluttershy and the kidnapper sealing off the cave. "thanks" said Fluttershy as she walked back to the others. "did you see me? I showed him!" boasted Fluttershy "thats my girl" said Rainbow Dash Fluttershy smiled. "what shoould we do next?" asked Applejack "I have an idea" said Twilight. Twilight moved the wall of rocks with her magic and the kidnapper was still there, he tried to throw a big rock at Twilight but she dodged it and everypony else charged throught and so did Twilight. Night had came and the cave was now pitch black the only light they'd had was the purple glow from Twilights magic. "were are you?" asked the kidnapper, he seemed very worried. Twilight encased him in a magic cage. That was when Pinkie Pie noticed something. "hey, um, the Princess isn't here" she said. "what?" said Twilight "were is she!" she shouted at the kidnapper "umm I-I-I dont know" stuttered the kidnapper "your lying" said Twilight "ok ok i'll tell you" said the kidnapper "she's at Checkpoint B, you have the map". Twilight dropped the rocks on top of the kidnapper and they left. Chapter VIIChapter VII Twilight was scanning the map as they travelled west to Checkpoint B. Twilight realised the kidnapper must of had someone else with them or else he would have to take the princess to Checkpoint B and wouldn't of been at Checkpoint A. "everypony be on your guard there’s got to be another kidnapper at Checkpoint B" Twilight said. They were about half way there when they got to a mountain, the map didn’t mention a mountain. the path drawn out on the map went right over it. "What do we do here?" asked Pinkie Pie "Fly over it!" said Rainbow Dash "Yeah? How am I supposed to fly over it I don’t have wings! Duh!" said Pinkie Pie "Then grow some!" shouted Rainbow Dash. "Stop arguing!" said Twilight "we can climb over" "Ugh" said Rainbow Dash "I suppose so..." They got to work climbing the steep mountain to find Checkpoint B; everypony was finding it hard to climb such steepness, “Argh!” Shouted Applejack, “I cant take it anymore!” “Too bad” said Rainbow Dash smugly “you’ll just have to try harder…” “I bet you anything, you would be struggling if you didn’t have your wings” Applejack replied, very angrily. They argued for hours but Twilight and the others were too tired too intervene. When everypony finally got to the top of the mountain, they could see another cave in the side of a ravine that the other side of the mountain led into. “Look! Checkpoint B” said Twilight “we’d better get moving” Everypony started to walk down the other side of the mountain, into the ravine, there were torches burning outside of the cave, It might as well of had a banner that said ‘CHECKPOINT B HERE!’ on it. “Its another cave!” said Pinkie Pie “Really?" said Rainbow Dash, sarcastically. “Silly Dashie, its obviously a cave!" said Pinkie, “Ugh” said Rainbow Dash as she face-hoofed. They carried on climbing down towards the cave, Twilight started thinking about what they would do about the other kidnapper there and what we would do about him or her. Will they be a Pegasus? Will they be a Unicorn? Or maybe just an Earth Pony. “Oh Twilight stop worrying, It’ll be fine!” she thought to herself as they approached the cave. Twilight could hear noises coming from inside the cave, it sounded like someone talking to himself, in a worried voice, It was definitely was a male pony. “When will they be here?” he asked himself “what’s going on?” “Who are you?!” he shouted to the entrance of the cave, as he saw the silhouettes of Twilight and Rainbow Dash. “Were here for the princess” said Rainbow Dash as angry as she was confident. “What princess?” he said, sounding worried. “Princess Celestia” said Twilight “What? Princess Celestia? She’s at her castle!” replied the pony shakily, “I know your lying, its obvious” said Rainbow Dash “I don’t think he is” said Twilight “What?” said the Stallion from the dark, "lying?? Why would I be lying?” “Its obvious!” shouted Rainbow Dash “he’s so nervous!” “Yeah…” said Twilight “why are you nervous?” “Because my friends are late” he said “we were supposed to meet here ten minutes ago” “And?” said Rainbow Dash “why would that make you nervous?” “Well, I needed them to help me with something” he said “I found something in the cave” “Found what? Was it diamonds?” said Rarity “Um…” said the stallion “no, it was a fossil, we found it yesterday and decided to come and dig it up this morning, but there late” “Ooh! A fossil!” said Twilight excitedly “This is no time to go digging up fossils Twilight” said Applejack “the Princess needs our help” “Cant I just take one quick peek?” Twilight asked “Ugh, hurry up then” said Applejack Twilight ran off into the cave giggling excitedly. “Who are you anyway?” asked the male stallion, he was still out of view “Oh us, I’m Applejack, and their names are Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie Fluttershy and Twilight just ran into the cave” Applejack replied “who are you then?” The stallion walked out into the light, he was dark blue and had a lighter blue mane; his cutie mark was two music notes, “I’m Noteworthy” he said, he wasn’t very nervous anymore “so lets go and see what that Twilight is doing” They all walked into the cave were Twilight was staring at a huge rock with these markings in it that kind of looked like the outline of an animal, a lion standing on its hind legs? “Its an Ancient Manticore fossil!” shouted Twilight “do you know how rare this is?” “Uh no, me and my friends just saw it when we went into the cave” Noteworthy said “I have a bad feeling about this…” whispered Applejack to Rainbow Dash “Hmm” said Rainbow Dash Twilight was just about to blow some dust off of the edge of the fossil when the whole thing came to life, well, it looked like that. The Ancient Manticore fossil broke into tiny pieces like an eggshell, underneath was a real live Ancient Manticore. “Where are you going?!” shouted Rainbow Dash as Noteworthy ran out of the cave “Your Princess is in another castle” Noteworthy shouted back “What the hay is that supposed to mean?!” Rainbow Dash shouted back. Just as Rainbow Dash had finished shouting back to Noteworthy she turned and saw the Ancient Manticore smash one of his huge paws into Twilights face “Twilight!” she shouted. She was angry now and flew towards to the stupid Manticore and kicked it right on the nose “You mess with my friends, you mess wi-” Rainbow Dash shouted ,but was cut off by the Manticore’s paw in her face. Chapter IVChapter IV At an unknown location Princess Celestia was tired and she kept drifting off to sleep but the kidnappers shouted at her and kept her awake. "Whats that?" said the male kidnapper curiously, as a green mist cam through a window. "its a letter! from Twilight" said the Princess with ecxitement. "A letter from who?" said the male kidnapper "Twilight Sparkle" said Celestia "well it says she has the crown and she's going to the Abandoned shack" the female kidnapper said "so lets go" At the Castle Twilight, Rainbow Dash Rarity Pinkie PIe, Applejack and Fluttershy were preparing to leave "Spike you stay here, its too dangerous" said Twilight, "okay" said spike. Everypony was ready to leave. They trotted to the Aandoned Shack too meet the kidnappers At the Shack the kidnappers had arrived and Princess Celestia was tied up Twiligt and the others arrived, Twilight walked in, "no! Twilight!" shouted the Princess "its ok Celestia" said Twilight calmly "hand over the crown!" said the female kidnapper pony "who are you anyway?" asked Twilight "we, are the shadow twins and with the power of night and day we shall be all mighty!" said the male kidnapper pony triumphantly. "oh yeah? what makes you think were gonna give you the crown?" said Rainbow Dash "because if you dont then your beloved Princess will die!" shouted the female kidnapper "ready?" whispered Twilight "Go!" Rainbow Dash flew across the room and grabbed the crown of the moon and Applejack kicked the male pony out the window. The female kidnapper pulled out a knife and lunged at Applejack and cut her leg, "ouch!" said applejack "eat hoof!" Applejack kicked out at the female kidnapper and hit her in the flank, while all this fighting was happening the male kidnapper had managed to get Celestia out the window and got away with her "no! Celestia!" shouted twilight, she tried to use magic to pull the princess back through the window but the male kidnapper was too strong for her. "no!" shouted Twilight again. Rainbow Dash flew back to Rarity and gave her the crown of the moon, Rarity put the two crowns together making on black and white crown with both a sun and moon on it. Rarity threw it to Twilight and she put it on. Boom! the shack exploded. Twilight could only just open her eyes, she looked around and all se saw were black charred remains of the shack, the female kidnapper was dead. Fluttershy and Applejack were both bleeding, Applejack still had a blade in her flank. Rainbow Dash was flying around looking for something, she could see the moon crown on the ground but the sun crown was nowhere to be seen. Twilight could see the male kidnapper flying away on a magical carriage with Princess Celestia, Pinkie Pie walked up to Twilight and said something, all she could make out was "Twilight............crown..............princess.......away............Rarity.......missing" Twilight closed her eyes. Twilight woke up with everypony surrounding her, "Twilight! your awake!" said Pinkie Pie "the kidnapper got away with the Princess, the sun crown has vanished and Raritys missing!" "what are we gonna do?" asked Fluttershy. Twilight got up brushed herself down and said "were gonna save Celestia..."
Chapter IChapter I Twilight Sparkle woke up startled, she'd had a nightmare where Princess Celestia's castle was being invaded by shrouded ponies in black cloaks and they took the princess hostage, but this nightmare, it was almost as if she was there watching the event take place before her eyes. It was very unusual "Spike! wake up!" she shouted. Spike, Twilight's assisstant dragon, woke up shouting "I'm sorry twilight! did I oversleep?", she replied "no its okay Spike I just need a favour, would you take a letter?" "at 8 in the morning? I mean, I literally just woke up" Spike said with an uncertain tone, Twilight replied "I'm very sorry but is urgent I write a letter to the princess straight away", "ok Twilight" Spike said as Twilight used her unicorn magic to get a scroll and a quill out of the drawer. Twilight recited the letter "Dear Princess celestia, I had a nightmare last night, it was very worrying, I saw your castle in Canterlot and there were a group of shrouded ponies sneaking around in black cloaks, they kidnapped you and escaped with ease. please reply as soon as possible. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle." Spike continued to roll up the letter and blow it into the air as it turned into green smoke and flew away out the window, in to direction of the royal castle in Canterlot. In the royal castle Princess Celestia was at the window watching over her knigdom, when a green mist came through the window and turned into a scroll, she opened it and read. When she had finished reading it she was very shocked... She'd heard of unicorns being able to see the future in dreams before but only in old mares tales and if her vision was true then the castle would be under attack any second! The regal Princess Celestia walked to the door and told her butler "go downstair and tell everypony to keep their eyes peeled especially the gaurds, there may be danger on the way" She quickly wrote a reply to Twiight. The sun was setting over Cloudsdale as Rainbow Dash woke up on a cloud and all her pegasus friends were flying around and practicing tricks, she heard a sound, it was very quiet. "Rainbow Dash! come quickly" it was Twilight, only just being able to shout up from the ground. Rainbow Dash got up from her cloud and flew down to the ground "Twilight? what do you want?" she asked, "its urgent you need to come with me I'll Explain after we gather everypony, come on!" Twilight replied. Rainbow Dash yawned and flew after them as they trotted away. At Rarity's house Opalescence was meowing at her and wouldn't stop. "can't a girl get some beauty sleep?" Rarity moaned while Opal was scratching at the floor making an annoying noise "okay, okay, okay I'll feed you already!" said Rarity as she got up and went over to the kitchen, Sweetie Belle was at Appleblooms sleepover party so Rarity had the morning to herself. She used her unicorn magic to get out the cat food tin from the cupboard and she empied it into Opal's bowl, Opal went to work fiercely eating her food. Knock! knock! knock! someone was at the door. "who is it?" Rarity called. "Its Twilight, let me in!" Twilight replied from the door, "oh, ok" said rarity as she opened the door with her magic. Twilight, Spike and Rainbow Dash all walked in. "why are you all here?" Rarity said with a hint of curiosity in her words. "It's super important! you NEED to come NOW" blurted out Rainbow Dash "I'll explain when we've got Pinkie, Applejack and Fluttershy with us" said Twilight "there goes a morning to myself..." At Sugar Cube Corner Pinkie Pie and Applejack were eating. Twilight walked in and said "you guys, what are you doing?", "were having brunch!" said Pinkie Pie. "Brunch? whats that?" asked Spike, "Its not quite breakfast its not Quite lunch, Brunch!" said Pinkie Pie, "do you want me to sing you my Brunch song?" "no thanks Pinkie now isnt the time, we've got to go!" said Twilight eagerly. "Go where?" asked Applejack, "to get Fluttershy!, I'll explain at her cottage" answered Twilight. Fluttershy was out feeding the chickens when she heard hooves on the ground then just over the hill she could see everypony trotting steadily towards her they looked as if the were very serious about something. "Fluttershy! Twilight has important news!" shouted Rainbow Dash "oh, is it good news or bad news?, I like good news." said Fluttershy almost whispering, "sorry, bad news" said Twilight reluctantly...
Chapter IIChapter II Twilight told her story... "It all started when I had this nightmare, it was of the Royal Castle in Canterlot being invaded by shrouded ponies in black cloaks" "ooh scary!" said Pinkie Pie "Pinkie!" twilight said, annoyed. "well these shrouded ponies were invading the castle and they took the Princess hostage!, I woke up and sent the Princess a letter telling her of my nightmare, she replied and told me that I may have inhereted powers from one of my great decendants that let me see the future in my dreams, I cant controll the ability it just happens from time to time, well she thinks we need to get to her as quickly as possible to make sure this nightmare dosen't come true" "Wow" said everypony after hearing the story, "Well then lets be on our way!" said applejack enthusiastically Celestia was anxious "when will they be here?" she muttered to herself, she kept looking out the window and at the door, checking for 'shrouded ponies' as Twilight had mentioned in her nightmare. The Princess heard a noise, footsteps, she was very worried now, she hid behind the bedside table (which was about a tenth of her size) and the door opened, she was too afraid to look. then there was a flash of light, then nothing. She couldnt see anything, she couldnt hear anything, except for heavy breathing, that was it. She was scared, more scared than she'd ever been in her life. There was a banging noise, it sounded like it was coming from far away, then it got quieter gradually. Eventually it faded and she realised it was a banging headache and she had a large bruise on the back of her head, then she realised, she had been kidnapped. Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie, Applejack and Fluttershy were on the earliest train to Canterlot, the car they were in wasn't big enough for all of them so Fluttershy and Rarity went into the Dining Car to get food for all of them. "I Hope the Princess is ok when we get to the castle" said Applejack "It'll be fine Applejack! you've got me! remember?" exclaimed Rainbow Dash "oh yeah right, we'll all be fine" said Applejack sarcasically "If we get to the castle in time then all we have to do is protect the Princess and get her to safety" said Twilight. "yeah, but what if we don't get there it time?" asked Applejack, who obviously needed some sleep. "then we'll just have to find her wont we. Applejack you get some rest and we'll wake you up when we arrive at the castle. In the Dining Car Fluttershy was ordering food "umm, please could we umm, have 6, hay sandwitches please?" she asked. "okay, coming right up" said the pony behind the counter. "I wonder if the princess is okay" said fluttershy "oh she'll be fine" Rarity replied "even if she's gone it wont be too hard getting her back" "oh, ok" said Fluttershy. The waiter pony brought them a plate of sandwitches, "thank you" said Rarity they walked back into the other car and put the plate down on a little table, "me and Applejack have aleady had brunch, silly!" said Pinkie Pie "oh yes! I forgot" said Rarity. "I'll have those then!" said Spike "go on then" said twilight. The train stopped in Caterlot train station and everypony got off, "quick! to the castle!" said Rainbow Dash as she flew off "wait! we need to stick together! shouted Twilight, but Rainbow Dash had already flew half way across Canterlot They walked to the castle and couldnt find Rainbow Dash anywhere at all, when they arrived something was very strange, there were no gaurds at the main gate and no gaurds on the castle walls, there should have been hundreds, Applejack opened the gate and there was no one inside the castle either, it was quite spooky. "where is everyone?" asked Pinkie Pie. They walked up the stairs to find Rainbow Dash trying to open the Princesses room door, "why did you zoom off like that earlier?" asked Rarity. "because I needed to see if the Princess was ok" she answered. Twilight used her magic to unlock the door from the other side and it opened, there was no sign of the princess at all she was gone. "we were too late! how could this happen?" asked Fluttershy "we need to find her, everypony look for anything that could help us" said Twilight and everypony started to search the room.
Chapter IIIChapter III Everypony searched and serached and searched, but couldnt find anything. When they were leaving they heard a sound, crying gently, it was coming from the room next to Celestia's, there was a sign on the door that read 'Princess Luna' "oh yeah! luna's room is here" exclaimed Rainbow Dash "why is she the only one here?" said Pinkie Pie "hmm" thought Twilight "maybe she could help us find Princess Celestia" Twilight opened the door and there was luna sitting by the bed crying into the sheets, "are you ok?" asked Twilight, "oh, thank the moon your here! quick save Celestia they took her down that road!" cried Luna. "were on it" said Twilight as they all left the room and hurried down the road which Luna had pointed out. Celestia woke up in a daze with a blindfold on, she atleast expected it to be a blindfold because she couldnt see anything just darkness, then she realised she wasn't blindfolded she was just in a very dark room, she could make out the frame of a door and the outline of a table, then the lightscame on it was blinding bright to her eyes because she'd been in the dark so long, there was a pony at the door who had taken off their black cloak. The pony had brown fur and a dark red mane and tail, they looked younger than her. "were am I?" Princess Celestia groaned. "shut up" said the pony, he was a male. "who are you?" asked the Princess "didn't you hear me? I said shut up" his voice sounded a little angrier. "why did you kidnap me?" asked the Princess "Im gonna lose my patience in a moment if you don't stop asking questions!" said the pony, this time he was very angry. another pony walked in and whispered something to the other pony, who nodded and walked out of the room. This new pony had blue fur and a black mane and a black tail. "well, well, well, Princess Celestia" said the pony this on was female "care to tell us anything?" "tell you what?" asked the Princess "You know what!" shouted the female pony "wheres the crown of the sun!" "the crown!" gasped the Princess "what would you want with the crown of the sun?" "its power, of course!" said the pony "but you cant harness it power without the crown of the moon" said the Princess "which we have" said the female pony, with a smug grin on her face she put a black crown on the table it was beautyfully made with curls and carves. It had a picture of the moon on the front. "how did you get that!" exclaimed Princess Celestia, "lets just say, your little sister isn't the best at keeping things safe" said the female pony, "Luna!" cried the Princess "what have you done with her?" "oh she's fine, we left her at the castle, she's not as important as you, see" said the male pony as he walked back into the room. "I'll never tell you were the crown of the sun is!" Twilight, Spike, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Applejack and Fluttershy were running down the road at full speed to get to Celestia. "how are we even going to find her anyway? we've got a minor lead but thats all" asked rarity, "don't worry we'll find her" Twilight said reassuringly. they kept going down the road until they saw an old abandoned shack and they thought they'd investigate. "Look in there! I bet Celestia's in there!" shouted Rainbow Dash "shh! not so loud" Twilight said, " you'll give us away" "oh yeah sorry" whispered Rainbow Dash they crept up to the back door of the shack but it was boarded up, so was the front door, but then Pinkie Pie noticed something, "look, theres a cellar door" "yes!" said Applejack it was a little hatch on the corner of the house, they opened it and walked down some steps. They found a door, past the door there was a room with a table and a chair, on the table there was a note, it read 'your too late, if you want your Princess back then give us the crown of the sun' Twilight gasped, "the crown of the sun!" she said "if they already have the crown of the moon then if they get the crown of the sun they will have ultimate power" "whats the crown of the sun?" asked Rainbow Dash, "theres two crowns, the crown of the moon and the crown of the sun, if you have both then you can use their power to do anything" Twilight answered. "even fly without wings?" asked Pinkie Pie "yes" Twilight answered "cool!" Pinkie Pie said "well how are we supposed to know were the crown of the sun is?" asked Fluttershy "It'll be in the vault at the royal castle" said Twilight "we'd better head back there then" said Applejack "yes, straight away" Rarity said. They left the abandoned shack and hurried back to the castle. "here it is, the crown of the sun" said Twilight "we've got to find the princess, I have an Idea" "spike take a letter" spike got a scroll and a quill and started writing "Dear the Princesses kidnappers we have the crown of the sun, meet us at the abandoned shack and we'll negociate" spike rolled up the letter and blew it into the air turning it into green mist. The letter was on its way.
Chapter VChapter V Rarity woke in a field, her rear right leg hurt and she could smell burning and smoke. She looked down at her leg, it was bleeding, she could see the burning remains of the shack. She tried to stand up and fell over, a surge of pain went through her leg and she screamed, her leg bled even more, now there was a small puddle of blood under her, she felt sick. she gathered up all the power in her body and stood up, it hurt even more this time, but she didn't fall over. she limped towards the wrecked shack. She heard a very quiet sound, talking, the closer she got the louder it was. It sounded like Pinkie Pie and Twilight and Rainbow Dash. She finally got close enough to hear what they were saying, "Raritys missing, the kidnapper got away with Celestia and the crown of the suns vanished!" it was Pinkie pie talking to Twilight , who looked almost unconsious, she could see Applejack and Fluttershy both on the floor bleeding. Then she noticed it, the crown of the sun, on the floor tattered and charred, she picked it up with her magic and it glowed, it was suddenly clean. "hey look! theres Rarity!" shouted Rainbow Dash, "Rarity!" shouted Pinkie Pie Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were the only consious ponies there. "uh... w-w-what h-happened..." mumbled Rarity. "everythings gone crazy!" said Rainbow Dash "one of them shadow twin people died, the other one got away with the princess, everyponies hurt and the sun crowns missing!" Rarity showed them the crown and said "I found the c-crown" "great, now we need to find out were the shadow guy went with the Princess" said Rainbow Dash. "i'm gonna go and search the wreckage" Rarity looked around and Twilight was unconcious, she had a large bruise on her forehead, Fluttershy had been cut in the cheek by a piece of glass and the dead female's knife was stuck in Applejacks flank. Fluttershy woke up, she looked terrible. "w-what happened?" Fluttershy could only just manage the words. "dont speak, it'll only make you tired" said Rarity "o-ok" whispered Fluttershy and she went back to sleep. Applejack was bleeding too much, Rarity though "what should I do?" she went to Rainbow Dash and helped search the ruins, she looked around the whole wreckage and eventually she found a little first aid box in a cupboard, just what she wanted!, and she went out to Applejack and got to work. First Rarity got the knife out of Applejacks flank, blood poured out faster than anything, Rarity had to think fast, she wrapped a bandage around the wound and it stopped bleeding. she went over to Fluttershy and dabbed her cut with a tissue "is everyone ok?" whispered Fluttershy "don't worry about them, they'll be fine" said Rarity "ok" whispered Fluttershy. Twilight finally woke up she was dazed, "Rarity! your ok!" said Twilight Rarity looked back at her leg and said "yes, kind of" Twilight gasped and said "what happened to your leg?" "its nothing, are you ok?" asked Rarity "my head hurts a bit but otherwise im fine" replied Twilight. "good, I say we all get some rest and then set off to find the Princess in the morning" said Rarity. Rarity went to the wreckage to find Rainbow Dash and see if she'd found anything. "Rainbow Dash?" called Rarity "are you there?" "Right down here Rarity" shouted Rainbow Dash "I think i've found something, it's a map, marked with locations; safehouse A, safehouse B and safehouse C." "perfect! now we can find the princess" exclaimed Rarity. Rainbow Dash and Rarity went back to Pinkie Pie and told her about the map. Then they all got some sleep. In the morning everypony felt a little better even Applejacks wound looked better. Everypony gathered around the little campfire Pinkie Pie made and they discussed what to do next. "ok, so we have a map of where the Princess will be taken next" said Rainbow Dash "is everyone fit to travel?" "yes" said everypony. "okay then I say we sneak in through the back" said Rainbow Dash "agreed" said Twilight. They packed up everything the had and left for 'Safehouse B'.
Chapter VIChapter VI Everypony was walking down the path that the map showed. If the map was correct Princess Celestia should be in Safehouse B and if not she will be in safehouse C. They kept on going, assuming checkpoint A was the abandoned shack. They finally arrived at Checkpoint B, it was a cave. "there goes sneaking through the back" said Rainbow Dash they walked in, it was quite dark, the only light they had was the daylight coming from the cave entrance so Twilight figured if it was nightime it would be pitch black in here. they carried on walking into the cave, it seemed like they would never get to the end, "how long is this cave?" asked Pinkie Pie. They eventually got to the end of the cave, there was a table and chair and on the table was the exact same map as Rainbow Dash found in the wreckage of the abandoned shack, but this on hap 'Checkpoint A' circled and there was some scrawled writing that said 'you are here'. "oh, no" said Twilight "if this is Checkpoint A" "Then the kidnapper will come here with the Princess!" Rainbow Dash finished Twilights scentence. "thats good, but bad at the same time" said Rarity. Everypony looked around for useful things in the cave, but there was nothing. "I thing everypony should get some rest, our wounds aren't fully healed" suggested Twilight. Fluttershy was woken up by a noise, it sounded like walking hooves outside the cave. She walked to the cave entrance to see if there was anything there, nothing, she looked around, still nothing. Fluttershy thought to herself, "must have been my imagination" and she went back into the cave, but while she was walking back in she heard it again, she looked back. Bang! she was hit on the head by something, she blacked out. When fluttershy came to she was lying on the floor, her head was pounding, she turned to see the kidnapper sneaking up to the others, while they were sleeping. "Leave them alone!" Fluttershy shouted, it hurt her head, but she had to protect her friends, "HEY, I SAID LEAVE THEM ALONE!" she shouted even louder this time, the kidnapper wouldn't do anything, Fluttershy threw a rock, it hit the kidnapper in the back. "ow!" said the kidnapper "what was that for?" "That! was for the Princess" fluttershy said, she threw another rock "and THAT was for Applejack!". Fluttershy got up, she felt angrier than ever. "ouch!" the kidnapper said as he threw a rock back. Fluttershy caught it and threw it back. She walked up to the kidnapper and kicked him as hard as possible. Everypony else woke up. "Fluttershy? whats going on?" said Twilight, "Help me get rid of him!" said Fluttershy. Twilight used her magic to pull the rocks down inbetween fluttershy and the kidnapper sealing off the cave. "thanks" said Fluttershy as she walked back to the others. "did you see me? I showed him!" boasted Fluttershy "thats my girl" said Rainbow Dash Fluttershy smiled. "what shoould we do next?" asked Applejack "I have an idea" said Twilight. Twilight moved the wall of rocks with her magic and the kidnapper was still there, he tried to throw a big rock at Twilight but she dodged it and everypony else charged throught and so did Twilight. Night had came and the cave was now pitch black the only light they'd had was the purple glow from Twilights magic. "were are you?" asked the kidnapper, he seemed very worried. Twilight encased him in a magic cage. That was when Pinkie Pie noticed something. "hey, um, the Princess isn't here" she said. "what?" said Twilight "were is she!" she shouted at the kidnapper "umm I-I-I dont know" stuttered the kidnapper "your lying" said Twilight "ok ok i'll tell you" said the kidnapper "she's at Checkpoint B, you have the map". Twilight dropped the rocks on top of the kidnapper and they left.
Chapter VIIChapter VII Twilight was scanning the map as they travelled west to Checkpoint B. Twilight realised the kidnapper must of had someone else with them or else he would have to take the princess to Checkpoint B and wouldn't of been at Checkpoint A. "everypony be on your guard there’s got to be another kidnapper at Checkpoint B" Twilight said. They were about half way there when they got to a mountain, the map didn’t mention a mountain. the path drawn out on the map went right over it. "What do we do here?" asked Pinkie Pie "Fly over it!" said Rainbow Dash "Yeah? How am I supposed to fly over it I don’t have wings! Duh!" said Pinkie Pie "Then grow some!" shouted Rainbow Dash. "Stop arguing!" said Twilight "we can climb over" "Ugh" said Rainbow Dash "I suppose so..." They got to work climbing the steep mountain to find Checkpoint B; everypony was finding it hard to climb such steepness, “Argh!” Shouted Applejack, “I cant take it anymore!” “Too bad” said Rainbow Dash smugly “you’ll just have to try harder…” “I bet you anything, you would be struggling if you didn’t have your wings” Applejack replied, very angrily. They argued for hours but Twilight and the others were too tired too intervene. When everypony finally got to the top of the mountain, they could see another cave in the side of a ravine that the other side of the mountain led into. “Look! Checkpoint B” said Twilight “we’d better get moving” Everypony started to walk down the other side of the mountain, into the ravine, there were torches burning outside of the cave, It might as well of had a banner that said ‘CHECKPOINT B HERE!’ on it. “Its another cave!” said Pinkie Pie “Really?" said Rainbow Dash, sarcastically. “Silly Dashie, its obviously a cave!" said Pinkie, “Ugh” said Rainbow Dash as she face-hoofed. They carried on climbing down towards the cave, Twilight started thinking about what they would do about the other kidnapper there and what we would do about him or her. Will they be a Pegasus? Will they be a Unicorn? Or maybe just an Earth Pony. “Oh Twilight stop worrying, It’ll be fine!” she thought to herself as they approached the cave. Twilight could hear noises coming from inside the cave, it sounded like someone talking to himself, in a worried voice, It was definitely was a male pony. “When will they be here?” he asked himself “what’s going on?” “Who are you?!” he shouted to the entrance of the cave, as he saw the silhouettes of Twilight and Rainbow Dash. “Were here for the princess” said Rainbow Dash as angry as she was confident. “What princess?” he said, sounding worried. “Princess Celestia” said Twilight “What? Princess Celestia? She’s at her castle!” replied the pony shakily, “I know your lying, its obvious” said Rainbow Dash “I don’t think he is” said Twilight “What?” said the Stallion from the dark, "lying?? Why would I be lying?” “Its obvious!” shouted Rainbow Dash “he’s so nervous!” “Yeah…” said Twilight “why are you nervous?” “Because my friends are late” he said “we were supposed to meet here ten minutes ago” “And?” said Rainbow Dash “why would that make you nervous?” “Well, I needed them to help me with something” he said “I found something in the cave” “Found what? Was it diamonds?” said Rarity “Um…” said the stallion “no, it was a fossil, we found it yesterday and decided to come and dig it up this morning, but there late” “Ooh! A fossil!” said Twilight excitedly “This is no time to go digging up fossils Twilight” said Applejack “the Princess needs our help” “Cant I just take one quick peek?” Twilight asked “Ugh, hurry up then” said Applejack Twilight ran off into the cave giggling excitedly. “Who are you anyway?” asked the male stallion, he was still out of view “Oh us, I’m Applejack, and their names are Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie Fluttershy and Twilight just ran into the cave” Applejack replied “who are you then?” The stallion walked out into the light, he was dark blue and had a lighter blue mane; his cutie mark was two music notes, “I’m Noteworthy” he said, he wasn’t very nervous anymore “so lets go and see what that Twilight is doing” They all walked into the cave were Twilight was staring at a huge rock with these markings in it that kind of looked like the outline of an animal, a lion standing on its hind legs? “Its an Ancient Manticore fossil!” shouted Twilight “do you know how rare this is?” “Uh no, me and my friends just saw it when we went into the cave” Noteworthy said “I have a bad feeling about this…” whispered Applejack to Rainbow Dash “Hmm” said Rainbow Dash Twilight was just about to blow some dust off of the edge of the fossil when the whole thing came to life, well, it looked like that. The Ancient Manticore fossil broke into tiny pieces like an eggshell, underneath was a real live Ancient Manticore. “Where are you going?!” shouted Rainbow Dash as Noteworthy ran out of the cave “Your Princess is in another castle” Noteworthy shouted back “What the hay is that supposed to mean?!” Rainbow Dash shouted back. Just as Rainbow Dash had finished shouting back to Noteworthy she turned and saw the Ancient Manticore smash one of his huge paws into Twilights face “Twilight!” she shouted. She was angry now and flew towards to the stupid Manticore and kicked it right on the nose “You mess with my friends, you mess wi-” Rainbow Dash shouted ,but was cut off by the Manticore’s paw in her face.
Chapter IVChapter IV At an unknown location Princess Celestia was tired and she kept drifting off to sleep but the kidnappers shouted at her and kept her awake. "Whats that?" said the male kidnapper curiously, as a green mist cam through a window. "its a letter! from Twilight" said the Princess with ecxitement. "A letter from who?" said the male kidnapper "Twilight Sparkle" said Celestia "well it says she has the crown and she's going to the Abandoned shack" the female kidnapper said "so lets go" At the Castle Twilight, Rainbow Dash Rarity Pinkie PIe, Applejack and Fluttershy were preparing to leave "Spike you stay here, its too dangerous" said Twilight, "okay" said spike. Everypony was ready to leave. They trotted to the Aandoned Shack too meet the kidnappers At the Shack the kidnappers had arrived and Princess Celestia was tied up Twiligt and the others arrived, Twilight walked in, "no! Twilight!" shouted the Princess "its ok Celestia" said Twilight calmly "hand over the crown!" said the female kidnapper pony "who are you anyway?" asked Twilight "we, are the shadow twins and with the power of night and day we shall be all mighty!" said the male kidnapper pony triumphantly. "oh yeah? what makes you think were gonna give you the crown?" said Rainbow Dash "because if you dont then your beloved Princess will die!" shouted the female kidnapper "ready?" whispered Twilight "Go!" Rainbow Dash flew across the room and grabbed the crown of the moon and Applejack kicked the male pony out the window. The female kidnapper pulled out a knife and lunged at Applejack and cut her leg, "ouch!" said applejack "eat hoof!" Applejack kicked out at the female kidnapper and hit her in the flank, while all this fighting was happening the male kidnapper had managed to get Celestia out the window and got away with her "no! Celestia!" shouted twilight, she tried to use magic to pull the princess back through the window but the male kidnapper was too strong for her. "no!" shouted Twilight again. Rainbow Dash flew back to Rarity and gave her the crown of the moon, Rarity put the two crowns together making on black and white crown with both a sun and moon on it. Rarity threw it to Twilight and she put it on. Boom! the shack exploded. Twilight could only just open her eyes, she looked around and all se saw were black charred remains of the shack, the female kidnapper was dead. Fluttershy and Applejack were both bleeding, Applejack still had a blade in her flank. Rainbow Dash was flying around looking for something, she could see the moon crown on the ground but the sun crown was nowhere to be seen. Twilight could see the male kidnapper flying away on a magical carriage with Princess Celestia, Pinkie Pie walked up to Twilight and said something, all she could make out was "Twilight............crown..............princess.......away............Rarity.......missing" Twilight closed her eyes. Twilight woke up with everypony surrounding her, "Twilight! your awake!" said Pinkie Pie "the kidnapper got away with the Princess, the sun crown has vanished and Raritys missing!" "what are we gonna do?" asked Fluttershy. Twilight got up brushed herself down and said "were gonna save Celestia..."
