Chapters It was a normal day in Ponyville. Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy decided to go on a picnic. Rarity, Applejack and Rainbow Dash were already meeting up at the spot their picnic was supposed to be held.
"What's taking them so long? We ain't got all day!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Relax, Rainbow, I'm sure they will be here shortly. Have a little more patience, dear." Rarity replied.
"Maybe we should look for 'em, just in ca..." Applejack got interrupted.
"Giiiiiiirls come quick there is a pony I've never seen before lying on the street right over there. I rushed here as fast as I could as I almost tripped over him!" Pinkie Pie shouted.
"You okay? Hello? Equestria to pony, pony please respond!"
As the others approached Pinkie and the unknown pony, he came to.
"Glad you're awake, I was worried for a second. I haven't seen a pony just lying on the ground like that in ages. You must've been pretty tired or something to fall asleep on the street. Anyway who are you? Are you from Ponyville? What are your hobbies? Can we be friends? I loooove making new friends, do you want to be my friend?" Pinkie talked as if she was never to stop again, as Twilight and Fluttershy joined the group.
"Hey girls, sorry we're late, we met up on the way here and ended up... who is that? I've never seen that pony before." Twilight wanted to know.
"Pinkie found him lying on the streets, we don't know who that is, it's the first time we see him too." Rarity explained.
"Anyway, what is your name?"
"My name is... I... don't remember my name. I don't even know how I ended up here or what I was doing before I woke up. All I know right now is that I have a major headache, as if something big hit it... by the way, who are you all? And where am I?"
"Do you really not remember anything? I'm not very common with amnesia but I'm pretty sure you must've hit your head on the ground or something. Also you do not look like you are from around here, could you at least remember where you're from? Anyway I'm Twilight and these are my best friends Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy. And you are in Ponyville. It is very peaceful here, you will probably enjoy your time here."
"We always have lots and lots of fun!" Pinkie added.
"I wish I could remember... my name, my family, anything that would help me figure out who I am..."
"Oh, oh, I know. How about you stay here in Ponyville and have some fun, there are a lot of fun things to do here. Maybe you'll find something that makes you remember about your past! Oh and don't make such a sad face. I want you to smile! I'm sure you'll find a way to remember!"
"That's very nice of you...Pinkie? But I don't know anyone, not even my own name."
"You do know us! We will help you regain your memories! Don't you worry!" Rainbow Dash replied.
"You can probably stay with Fluttershy for the time being as you probably don't have a house in Ponyville."
"Uhm...but Dashie...I-I-I don't kn-kn-kn-know if that's a-a-a good idea..." Fluttershy responded quietly.
"Don't worry, I can figure something out for the time being. I don't really want to disturb anyone."
"It's perfectly fine, I'm sure, Fluttershy wouldn't mind at all! Besides she is always with her animals and is afraid of ponies she doesn't know. It's nice if somepony could open her up a little so she is a bit more confident and not hiding behind her animals all the time and besides you might love her animals just as much as she does."
"Well are you fine with that, Fluttershy? If you don't want to, that is ok with me, since you don't even know me or my name or anything."
"No, it-it's fine, besides Dashie is right, I really really need to work on my confidence. I always get so nervous talking to new ponies I meet and I am barely able to talk. Even now it is very difficult to talk to you like that but you don't seem like a bad
"Okay, now that that's settled, let's go have our picnic! We are all here so let's eat, I'm soooo hungry!" Pinkie said impatient.
"Hold on a second, Pinkie, we still need to give him a name so we can at least refer to him." Twilight replied.
"Let's have a look on his cutie mark. Alright, it looks like a cupcake with a smile on it. I got it! Let's call him Happy Cake."
"I don't feel like giving me a new name is what we should be doing, Twilight. It feels like I'm an animal."
"And that's the reason you're staying with Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash explained, laughing.
"Stop it, Dashie!" Fluttershy replied, "I'm sorry, she can be very mean sometimes."
"Looks like you already like him, Fluttershy, don't you?" Rainbow Dash replied, smiling.
"Stop it now, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy is just telling you to stop because it really was mean!"
"Don't worry Twilight, I don't really mind, besides if she feels like teasing I don't mind teasing as well. You better watch out Rainbow Dash!"
"Just call me Dash, new pony, you have guts. Nopony would say something like that so bluntly to me. You certainly are special."
"That's no big deal really. As for the name, I'll let Fluttershy decide for a name since she'll take care of me, isn't that right, Dash?" He smiled arrogantly at Rainbow Dash.
"Oh...uhhhm, how about Ocean? Since your fur is dark blue and the mane light blue?"
"That sounds really nice, Fluttershy, I think I can get used to that."
"Alright! Now that that's setteled, let's finally start the picnic please? I'm starving!" Pinkie Pie complained.
As the picnic went by, it got dark very soon, the ponies waved a final goodbye to each other as they went home. Soon Fluttershy and Ocean reached Fluttershy's house.
"That's your house? It looks really nice!"
"Thank you, it's so nice, having many animal friends help me keeping the house clean. I'm sure you'll like them! But I have to tell you, Angel is a little... let's call him special."
"Angel? Who's that?"
"Oh, Angel is my Bunny, among all the animal friends I have he is the best one," Fluttershy smiled, "but he tends to be special and want's a little more attention than the others but I think that's fine since he is such a cute bunny! Let's go in, shall we?"
"Yes, sure."
As they entered the house, Angel looked at Fluttershy, as if he wanted to ask where she has been for so long.
"I'm sorry it took so long, Angel. We met a new pony today who was lying on the street. He doesn't seem to remember anything so we decided that I'd take care of him for a while."
Angel looked at Ocean, stomping with his foot on the ground, having his arms crossed.
"Hello, Angel, Fluttershy told me about you, you really are a cute bunny, I hope we can enjoy the time we spend together!"
Angel stretched out his tongue and hopped away.
"I'm so sorry, I told you he is very special but don't worry, he'll start to like you once he gets to know you better. Oh... I just remembered, I haven't even got anywhere for you to sleep yet! I only have one bed."
"It's fine, I can just sleep on the ground, anything is better than sleeping on the streets with a heavy headache haha."
"But that feels so wrong! I can't let you sleep on the ground. You are my guest after all! You can sleep in my bed if you don't mind."
"What about you then?"
"I'll just sleep down here on the ground. It can't be that bad now, can it?"
"I'd rather have you sleep in your own bed, Fluttershy. After all it is yours. Besides I can't let a nice mare like you who even lets me stay in her house sleep on the ground."
Fluttershy blushed and turned around.
"Okay, if that is fine with you. But we will get you a bed tomorrow then. I feel bad letting you sleep on the ground." Fluttershy's voice gets more and more silent.
"What did you say?"
"Oh it's nothing." Fluttershy hid under the cloth.
"Time to sleep then."Ocean said.
"Where am I? This doesn't look like Ponyville. I hear ponies calling out to me, who are they? What are they saying? I can't understand them. But they look familiar. Just who are you guys!? I can't understand what you're saying!
"Hey, can you hear me? Wake up, please wake up."
"Just whose voice is this?"
"Come on, Ocean, wake up!"
"Fluttershy?" As Ocean opens his eyes, he notices Fluttershy's face above his.
"Thank goodness, you had me really worried there for a second, maybe you should've slept in the bed instead. You seemed to have a really bad nightmare."
"Oh, I'm sorry, didn't mean to worry you. Anyway it's nothing really. I guess anypony has bad dreams once in a while don't they?"
"Yes, that's only natural." Fluttershy replied, smiling.
Fluttershy and Ocean decided to have breakfast together as suddenly somepony knocked on the door.
"Just a second!" Fluttershy said and went to the door.
As she opened the door, Twilight stood in front of her, being excited.
"I found it! I found the book! Could you get Ocean to the door as well, Fluttershy?"
"I'm already here, Twilight. After all I wasn't that far away from the door."
"Anyway, I found a book that might help you out on your amnesia, I found a spell that enables you to go back into your childhood. That way you can find out where you're from and who you actually are!"
"Wow, that sounds great, Twilight. So can you cast that spell right away?"
"I'm sorry, I can't. For the spell to work you have to be asleep and since it's morning I suppose you are not tired at all. However it is a little dangerous using that spell. Everything you experience in your dream is real. That means if anything happens to you you might not be able to wake up ever again. But I'm sure there is nothing to worry about!" Twilight said confident.
"So what are we going to do until then?" Ocean asked.
"We could show you around town. I'm sure, the others would join up as well."
"Well that sounds alright I guess."
"Let's meet at the Town Hall in an hour then. I'll have the others gathered there by then."
"Alright, see you later then Twilight!" Fluttershy said.
"Alright then, shall we feed the animals then? Afterwards we should get going."
"Okay then."
After they fed the animals, Fluttershy and Ocean headed to the town hall to assemble with the others.
"Alright guys, we're here!" Ocean shouted, "Who are you? You look like a dragon but you are so tiny."
"I'm a baby dragon, my name is Spike, surely Twilight told you about me. I'm her reliable assistant after all." Spike bragged.
"Oh yes, how could I forget the almighty dragon Spike who is unrivaled by any assistants in Equestria!" Ocean looked at Twilight who couldn't help it but giggle.
"So where are we going first?" Ocean asked.
"First place would be Applejack's, then we'll go to Rarity's and afterwards we can go to my library...You okay?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine I guess I just got another headache." Ocean replied, but then he collapsed and passed out.
"Where am I? Did I die? It's dark, my head hurts, just what the buck is going on? I feel there's somepony with me but who is it? What is he saying?"
"...er."
"What?"
"...ther."
"Who are you?"
"...ve me ple..."
"I can't hear you!"
"Save..."
"Ocean? Can you hear me? Ocean wake up!" As Ocean came to, he noticed a stallion looking at him.
"And who are you?"
"I'm Doctor Whooves. Say, have we met before? You look familiar."
"How did I end up here?"
"Your friends brought you here, they are very worried about you. They said you suddenly passed out but I can't find an explination for that. You sure are a strange one."
"Where are they? Are they still here?"
"Yes, they are waiting outside, mind if I call them in?"
"Yes, that would be really nice."
"He is awake, come on in, girls."
"We were so worried about you. I thought for a second you would not wake up again. If you don't feel well tell me next time, but don't make us worry, Ocean." Fluttershy said.
"I'm sorry, it's just ever since yesterday I keep having these headaches and I can't get used to it. That moment I felt like my head is going to explode and I guess I just passed out I'm sorry." Ocean replied.
"I think we should wait until you are out of the hospital before we use that spell, besides it takes quite a few preparations for which I need you at my house anyway. So hurry up and get well, okay?" Twilight smiled at Ocean.
"And then we'll have a party!" Pinkie said and started shooting her party cannon.
"Haha, sure, don't worry Pinkie, we'll just do that."
"Unfortunately you must stay here for two nights, we can't risk another breakdown. You should get some rest now." Doctor Whooves said.
"As for you girls, it's probably best if you come back again tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow then girls!" Ocean said as he waved them goodbye.

This is my first time writing a story on this site and about MLP (with a self-made character included). I really hope you guys are going to be nice to me. :P
Chapter 2: Unwanted Memories
"Another dream? What is up with all these dreams lately? But this one is slightly different. This is the first time I can actually see something. I am in a forest with a white unicorn filly, her mane shimmers in a faint green. She looks very familiar."
"Come on, brother, you are so slow, if we don't hurry we might not be able to see them!"
"See who? Wait!"
Ocean hurried after the filly but was unable to catch up to her until she vanished.
"Just wait a second! Who are you? Are you...my sister?"
As he said that the forest went dark for a second. Ocean couldn't see a thing. When the darkness vanished, he noticed he ended up in a huge empty white room. In front of him a shadow of a unicorn.
"Save me, brother. You are the only one who can. But in order to do so you need to remember everything. Remember the time we spent together up to that night when we got seperated. However, it is not time for you to remember yet. Once you remember, you will confront me and when that time comes either you will save me or you will be killed. It depends on the choice you'll be taking."
Ocean looked at the shadow, he was shaking. Deep down he knew it is somepony he grew up with, somepony he trusted. It was somepony who made him smile when he was feeling down, who he could rely on. Deep down he knew, it was his sister, but he doesn't remember her name and he wasn't able to fully see her face in the dark forest.
"Wake up now, brother, you shouldn't stay in the past. You have to save the present me."
The shadow came closer until it was right in front of Ocean. As the Shadow came out of the ground and turned into a Shadow-Pony, it raised it's horn at Ocean. It started to shine.
"Wait a se..."
Ocean woke up, lifting his head. Looking at the wall he knew that he had to do something. He got a feeling that something was wrong in Equestria and that there was something telling him to do something about it. If only he could remember.
"You could've at least told me my own name, damnit." Ocean mumbled to himself.
When he turned his head to the table he noticed Twilight had left a book there. It's name is "Become Concious Of The Unconciousness". Ocean noticed there is a letter inside one of the pages. He opened the book on that page and decided to read the Letter.
"Make sure you read these few pages from here on. They help you getting dreams you wished for. However there is no such thing as certain success reading this book. That's why we need the magic spell as it increases your desire to a certain dream. As already mentioned, make sure you read these pages, this is also a part of the preparations."
Ocean then started reading the pages...
"...To awaken one's true self, one must be kind to himself...To gain trust in one's desire, one needs loyalty...Once these things are accomplished, the gate to the truth will be opened by magic...and once one finds the ultimate truth, one has endless possibilities."
Ocean was surprised at how complex this book is. He couldn't make out what it was supposed to mean.
"Maybe Twilight could tell me once I'm out of here." Ocean thought.
Morning went by quickly and so did lunch. Ocean stared out of the window, looking into the clouds.
"Wonder if it'll work tomorrow."
Suddenly Pinkie stormed in, Rainbow Dash right behind her.
"Haaaaaaaappy Biiiiiiiiiiirthday, Ocean!" Pinkie shouted.
"Birthday? I'm sure today's not my bithday, besides why are you thinking today's my birthday?" Ocean replied, looking at her.
"You know, I just had a feeling you might have. Besides, parties are my speciality!"
"Who would've guessed that?" Ocean said ironically.
"Hey there, Ocean, sorry the others couldn't come, Rarity and Applejack are busy working and Twilight is sooooo obsessed with her preparations. She surely has an interest in you." Rainbow Dash smiled.
"You see, Dash, it's not like you see somepony having amnesia every day. If I were her, I would probably be interested as well. Besides she seems like a very intelligent pony who likes research. (Not to mention I don't understand anything that the book she gave me states)"
"Oh by the way, I almost forgot to give you this! Have this ball, you can just throw it at the wall and it will bounce off and come back to you if you do it right! I used to do that when I was in hospital for my broken wing. Bet you can't beat my personal record which is 539 bounces. But there might be a little chance a pony like you might actually beat me, however that is very unlikely. You'd have to be reeeeeeally awesome to do that." Rainbow Dash grinned, as if she was taunting him.
"Bring it on, Dashie." Ocean sounded arrogant, showing Rainbow Dash that her taunt only encouraged him.
The three of them chatted until it got dark. As they said goodbye to eachother.
"Guess it's too dark to play with the ball now, might as well just go sleep."
Again back to his dreams, Ocean finds himself at the beach, however this dream is different than the dreams he had before. This time it is like something is pulling him, controlling him. He was going towards a house on the shore. Once he was inside, he noticed a picture on the table, it was that filly from his previous dream, himself and what seemed to be their parents. They had a happy look on their faces. As he silently watched that picture, he noticed somepony approaching. It was his mother, he felt.
"Why aren't you sleeping already? Don't you think, it's about time, dear?"
He turned around, looked into his mothers face and said "Yes, mother, I'll be going in a second."
"That's my boy." She smiled at him.
Ocean felt how his heart was warmed up but at the same time he knew it wasn't real, he knew that something was going to happen. He just didn't know what it was.
As he walked up the stairs into the 3rd room to the left he noticed the door at the other side was open. It was his sister's room. He went inside and stared at her sleeping, he doesn't know why but he still felt like he was possessed. He stared at her for at least an hour without doing anything as he went back downstairs. However he tripped and fell to the ground. A few seconds later his mother came downstairs to check what was going on.
"What are you still doing here? I thought I told you to go to bed."
Suddenly Ocean's vision got blank, he didn't feel anything anymore for about five minutes. As he came to again he noticed his mother lying on the ground, not moving. His sister was telling him something but he couldn't hear. He just didn't hear anything when she dragged him out of the house and they ran off to the forest.
"Don't worry, I'll free you from that curse, brother. You will never feel any of that pain again."
Ocean knew this scene. He remembered it from his previous dream. His sister walked up to him as her horn started shining. As soon as her horn touched his forehead, he became really sleepy even though it only was a dream.
"We'll meet again, brother."
She slowly walked off as Ocean could do nothing but collapse and fall asleep.

Alright guys so this is chapter 2. I know I'm pretty fast on this one but the ideas just keep coming so I felt like updating it this soon.
Inside the house, Ocean finds many rooms, some of them look very old. It would take forever to find his sister in this house.
"Sis!? Sis!? Comeon out! Just what the buck is happening here!?"
Ocean didn't receive any answer so he decided to go up the stairs. As he got to the third floor, he noticed a huge hallway, only leading to one big door. He felt like he'd get some answers there.
Once he reached the door, he stopped for a second, he was afraid of what answers might await him if he meets his sister there.
"Come in, Brother, I know you're there."
Ocean opened the door to find his sister sitting on a throne.
"Just tell me already what the buck is going on here! Why can you change your appearing? What happened that night? Just tell me what is going on, what was that thing inside me! I know you know something!" Ocean shouted at his sister.
"My dear brother, why is it that only I remember? Why can't you remember anything? I will tell you what happened. Our parents were the ones who received a certain fate. Their fillies were supposed to be gods. Once they reach a certain age, their powers will gradually increase and they don't age. These fillies are us. We were both possesed by a spirit. The spirits of the former gods. While I was supposed to be the sun, you were supposed to be the moon. Together we were supposed to create a new world. A world in which everypony can be happy. However the spirits inside you are the moon spirits and they are said to be evil, gruesome and filled with hatred. Only a strong will could prevent any harm to the ponies around you. You remember that night, don't you? That night when you killed mother?"
"I don't know what happened that night. It's so fuzzy to me. I would never do such thing. It can't be real!"
"It was real. I saw it with my very own eyes. But don't worry, we couldn't have prevented it. Your will was not strong enough simply because we were all alone all this time. While I was the lucky one getting all the positive spirits, you had to endure unimaginable pain caused by these monsters. That's why I decided to lift that curse from you. As you noticed, my previous form was dark, that happened because of the spirits rampaging inside of me. If it wouldn't have been you who met me, I most likely would've killed you. They kept telling me "Kill him" but I refused and tried to run with my remaining willpower. But you just couldn't stop following me causing you to come here. To tell you the truth, it is too late now for you to leave. Soon, I will split myself into two. One being creating the sun, one being creating the moon. Once that happens my dark side will try to kill you while my good side you can see now will most likely try to save you."
"But why? I just don't understand! Why does it have to be us? What will happen once you split? What will happen to you?"
"I will be trapped in two different bodies, my good side will be watching over my dark side. However if those two collide in a battle, this whole world will be destroyed. One cannot live without another. I think it's time. I will split now and once that happens I'll pray for your safety. Goodbye, Brother."
"Just wait a second! What did you do to me? Why can't I remember anything? I don't know my own name, I don't know your name, I just don't know anything!"
"As for that, Brother, we will meet again. Once we meet you should have found the answers to that."
Ocean looked at her sister who seemed in pain. She started to shine in a bright light. Suddenly, something dark came out of her fur. Once it materialized he noticed it was the filly he met on the street who then started to attack him.
Right before the dark pony reached Ocean, his sister's horn started to light up, her mane coloring up in different colors. A barrier appeared around him and he heard a familiar voice.
"Dear Brother, I will send you to a time in which I am about to lose control, make sure you will stop me, I believe in you. Once you stand in front of me, you have to remember everything. If you don't, you won't have any effect on me and you will not be able save this world. Take care."
"Hey Ocean, wake up!"
"Huh? Where am I?" Ocean opened his eyes, looking up at the ceiling.
"So, how'd it go? Any success?" Twilight asked.
"I've learned quite a lot actually." Ocean answered.
"Have you regained your memories then?"
"Not quite but I know what I have to do now."
"What is it then?"
"I have to remember everything."
"Isn't that what we were trying to do already?" Twilight looked confused.
"Exactly, however we approached it the wrong way. Could you tell me if you have any books about how Equestria was made?"
"I don't really know what you are looking for there, but okay, I'll look around for it a bit. I'll tell you once I find it."
"By the way, Twilight. What was that book about you left at the hospital?"
"You know, I just wanted to make sure you'll be smart enough to be worth investigating." She giggled as she went off to look for a book.

Ocean went downstairs where he found Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash lying on the ground. They were sleeping.
"They can't observe me all night and still be awake, I can understand they are tired."
He waited for Twilight to give him the book he was looking for when suddenly Spike entered the house.
"Twilight?! I'm sorry, I couldn't find the book you left in the forest! Are you sure you didn't lose it anywhere else?!"
Spike's shouting woke Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash up. Looking sleepy they were looking at the little dragon.
"Watch your voice, Spike. Somepony wants to sleep over here." Rainbow said in a dreamy voice.
"We shouldn't be sleeping in Twilights house without her permission in the first place, Dashie." Fluttershy replied.
"Well, you were sleeping here as well, so why don't you mind your own business?" Rainbow Dash answered a little annoyed.
"I'm sorry." Fluttershy mumbled.
"By the way, do any of you know something about a god of the sun or a god of the moon?" Ocean asked.
"Are you talking about Princess Celestia and Princess Luna? I think they are the Goddesses of Sun and Moon." Spike said.
"Oh they are? I didn't know or rather I don't remember." Ocean replied. "You know guys, I'd like you all to assemble at Fluttershy's house this evening. Of course if that's okay with you, Fluttershy."
"Yeah, no problem, but why?" Fluttershy asked in a shy voice.
"There is something I need to tell you all and I need your help. Please make sure to bring Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie along as well. See you later then guys."
Ocean left the house to go at the beach where he was supposed to live with with his sister who appeares to be Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. He doesn't know if he will be able to find the answers he is looking for in order to save his sister. He lied down into the sand, looking at the sky, thinking.
"Princess Celestia and Princess Luna..." he mumbled to himself. "How can I even get to them and if I get there what am I supposed to do. I just don't know anything. If only I could remember. Also something's really odd about this world. While in my dreams there were many scary things going on, this world is so happy and full of cheerful ponies. Maybe it was my existence that made other ponies evil. What if my interference will cause something similar to happen? I don't want to think about it."
Ocean sighed as he got up from the sand and decided to go to Fluttershy's house. He was feeding the animals since it seems Fluttershy hasn't been home today and waited for the others to come.
As the day passed by, Ocean had a lot of time to think about what he was going to do. But he couldn't come to a reasonable conclusion. That's why he is hoping for help from his new friends after he tells them what he saw in his dreams. Fluttershy then entered the house along with the others.
"I'm glad you were all able to come here. What I'm about to tell you will probably make you think that I'm crazy but I assure you it is the truth." Ocean explained. "And before I start telling you, can I trust you? Will you be willing to help me?"
The ponies looked at eachother and nodded. They were ready to believe Ocean.
"I think you all know that I've been having quite a few nightmares lately and I will tell you what exactly happened in them. I was on a beach looking out at the sea, however I had no control of what I was doing. It was like somepony controlled me. When I turned around I noticed a house, I went inside and found a picture of a family who seemed to be my parents, my sister and myself.
Suddenly I heard a voice behind me and I turned around. It was who seemed to be my mother, telling me to go to bed. I went upstairs as I was told, but before going into my room, I noticed an open door in which somepony was sleeping. That pony seemed to be my sister. I stood in front of her bed just looking at her.
It felt like an hour until my body finally moved. But not into my room but back downstairs where I ended up tripping. My mother heard that and came downstairs to tell me to go to bed already. Suddenly my vision got black, it felt like I was tied up in a dark empty room. When I finally came to I noticed her lying on the ground, my sister talking to me but I couldn't hear anything. She then dragged me out of the house into the forest. She then turned to me and said that the will lift that curse that's been upon me.
At that time I did not understand what she meant but there was definetely something possessing me in that dream.
She was raising her horn which began to glow up, once it touched me I suddenly became really sleepy even though it only was a dream. It felt really stange. I tried telling her to wait but there was no sound coming out of my mouth. The exact same thing happened in a dream I had before but that time it was only a shadow and I didn't really know what it was. This time I knew it was my sister.
After that I was having my dream at Twilights house, in which I finally found a few answers, however I also discovered new mysteries. I will tell you now.
I ended up sleeping in a house, I don't know where it was. I went outside. In the distance I noticed a filly with black fur and blue mane. I felt like it was somepony I knew and that I might find answers if I ask her. However as I wanted to run to her, she noticed me and ended up running away but I caught up to her. She refused to tell me anything and just kept running away until we were arriving at a big house. I then got tired of the running and decided to pin her down to get some answers. She then begged me to let her go and that I should mind my own business when something really strange happened.
That filly suddenly transformed into a filly that looked very familiar to me. It was the filly from my other dreams, my sister. I was shocked at that moment and let go of her. She then ran inside the house. After I came back to my senses I decided to follow her inside the house where I eventually found her.
She told me we were supposed to be gods, she as the god of the sun, me as the god of the moon. It was our fate, we were both possessed by spirits. She was said to have the sun spirits sealed within her while I was having the moon spirits which are said to be evil and only a strong will can prevent any harm to the ponies around me. However I finally understood what she meant by lifting that curse off me. She took the moon spirits from my body and sent them into her own. That was the reason she was able to transform she told me. She also told me that the spirits inside her are rampaging and that she will be split in two. One good and one dark side. She told me the dark side will be attempting to kill me once she splits while the good side will try to protect me.
She also told me that if both sides were to collide in a battle this world would be destroyed. When I asked for answers about who I am and who she is, she only told me that by the time we meet, I should know.
After she split into two, her dark side instantly tried to kill me but her good side protected me and while I was protected she said to me that she will send me into a time in which she is about to lose control and I think that's why I ended up here, not knowing who I am.
However my sister trusted me on this. She is probably already waiting for me to remember but I don't know what to do. All I know so far is that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna might be the good and dark side of my sister but I don't know for sure."
"So you are implying that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna once were one and that would be your sister?" Twilight asked.
"That's right and I have to find out about my life before I woke up in this world. At first I only wanted to remember anything about myself but now, I want to remember to save this world!" Ocean replied.
"Do you really think, we'd believe such nonsense!?" Rainbow Dash couldn't believe what she just heard.
"No, to be honest, I wouldn't believe it myself if it wouldn't have felt so real." Ocean said. "I will go to Princess Celestia and talk to her. I'd like you all to come as well and bring your Elements of Harmony. If it really is the strongest magic in Equestria, I would want you to help me out if it comes to the worst."
The ponies looked at eachother confused. They didn't quite know what to say.
"I think, we can trust him." Fluttershy said. "I can see it in his eyes. He seems to be a very honest and reliable pony to me. I can't explain, the way he is looking at somepony, his eyes have something that makes you believe him anything he says. He doesn't seem like he is lying at all, I've never seen such an impression on a pony before. That's probably why I can say that I feel save around him because I am certain he would protect me because he is such a nice pony. I don't know why, but I can definetely see it!"
"If Fluttershy says so, I think we can trust him as well." Rainbow Dash replied. "Besides, I've never seen you standing up for somepony like that before. Could it be that you really like him, Fluttershy?"
"No, that's not it! I mean, I kind of like him. It's just the way he looks at you and the way he talks that makes you believe him."
"Do you all agree on helping Ocean then?" Twilight asked
The ponies looked at eachother again and started laughing.
"It's settled then! Let's do this everypony!" Pinkie shouted, hopping around.
Chapter 3: Entering the Truth
When Ocean opened his eyes, he was greeted by Doctor Whooves.
"You can leave the hospital now, Ocean. You seem to be perfectly fine, all I can tell you is to not overdo it."
"Thanks, Doc." Ocean replied, as he got out of his bed.
It was still early in the morning so Ocean figured most ponies might still be asleep so he decided to look for a beach. When he arrived at the beach, staring out on the horizon, he noticed that he stood there in his dream as well, he just knew. He turned around, hoping, he could go into that house again to maybe find any clues on his identity, but there was no house. What does this mean? Was it really only a dream and not real? Ocean then decided to go into the forest that was supposed to be behind the house.
"But why is there a forest and not a house?" Ocean mumbled to himself.
Five minutes inside the woods, he felt like somepony was watching him. Ocean felt really uneasy, when suddenly a familiar face showed up in front of him.
"What's up, Ocean?"
It was Spike.
"Oh, hey there Spike. What is the best Assistant of Equestria doing so early in a forest?" Ocean replied.
"Twilight sent me to look for one of her books she thinks she dropped when she got attacked."
"What? She got attacked? By whom?" Ocean asked.
"You know, just some Timberwolf, there are many of them out here. Besides, what are you doing in the forest, don't you know it is dangerous in here?"
"I was just walking around a little and happened to end up here. Ocean said in a laughing voice. "However, I somehow got the feeling I've been watched ever since I got in here."
"Maybe you should head back to Ponyville. Since you're out of the hospital you might as well tell the others you are fine. It would be pretty bad if they ended up coming to the hospital for you only to hear that you already left. They would probably worry about you again."
"Alright then, could you maybe tell Twilight that I'll be at her house this evening for the spell once you're back?"
"Will do, see you later then!" Spike shouted as they parted ways.
When Ocean got out of the forest, he noticed Fluttershy's house was right in front of him.
"So she lives at the other side of the entrance." He thought.
When Ocean approached the door, he noticed some giggling from inside the house. However when he entered, nopony was to be seen. However, as he closed the door, He heard Pinkie Pie's voice.
"Surpriiiise!" she shouted.
Ocean quickly turned around as he noticed Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight and Fluttershy presenting a very big cake. "Welcome Home" was written on it.
"Aw, you guys, I don't know what to say." Ocean could do nothing but smile, his eyes started shining, he feels like it's been a long time since he has been this happy. "How did you know I was here?"
"Since you were going to live here, we figured you'd be coming here." Twilight said.
"Come on then! It's party time!" Pinkie Shouted. "No party's like a Pinkie Pie party!"
"You might actually be right." Ocean replied.
Morning passed quickly as they celebrated Ocean's return. They played many games, had a lot of fun.
"Must've been pretty boring in that hospital eh?" Rainbow Dash said, looking at Ocean.
"Well, it could've been worse. I had some time to relax and think about things so I guess it wasn't that bad. Besides how could a day be boring when you have friends visiting you everyday?"
"Yes, I guess so. But doing nothing like lying in a bed is the worst thing for me. After all I love fast things, races, speed and such."
"That's Rainbow Dash for you." Ocean replied grinning. "By the way, Twilight. What was that book you sent Spike out for this morning? I happened to walk into him this morning."
"Oh that, it was nothing really, just some stuff about the Elements of Harmony." Twilight said.
"Elements of Harmony? What's that?" Ocean wanted to know.
"You don't know? The Elements of Harmony behold the strongest magic in all of Equestria. However to use them, you need Loyalty, Generosity, Honesty, Kindness, Laughter and Magic. You are pretty lucky since we are the ones who hold the power for it. Rainbow Dash represents Loyalty, Rarity presents Generosity, Applejack represents Honesty, Fluttershy represents Kindness, Pinkie Pie represents Laughter and I represent Magic." Twilight explained.
This sounds familiar to Ocean, he finally figured out the meaning of the book, Twilight gave him.
"Thanks, Twilight, you really helped me out. I finally understand it. Thank you for leaving that book for me." Ocean said happily.
It already started to get dark, the ponies decided to go home each. When Rainbow Dash passed by Ocean, he whispered in her ear.
"Could you come to Twilight's house later as well? It would be great if you could help me."
Rainbow Dash then looked at Ocean for a moment and then left the house with a small grin.
Ocean and Fluttershy are left alone.
"Uhm Fluttershy? Do you have a minute? I'd like to talk with you for a second."
"Sure, what is it, Ocean?"
"Do you remember when I had that nightmare?"
"Yes, I do, you were talking in your dreams. You said something like "I can't hear you." or "Who are you?" What about it?"
"Well you know, I kept having these dreams. They seemed so real, I have a feeling they want to tell me something that something terrible is going to happen. Back at the hospital the dreams got more intense. My sister appeared in my dream, telling me to save her. At first it was just a shadow, it was really scary. However the next night's dream was very different from the one I had before. It was like somepony moved me, I was unable to do anything. I ended up in a house on the beach where my family lived, my mother told me to go to bed, then my vision got blank, it felt like I was tied up in a dark room where I can't see anything. When I came to, I noticed her lying on the ground, not moving, my sister, talking to me, but I didn't hear her voice. We then ended up in the forest. She said, she'd free me from that curse. She walked up to me and touched me with her horn. That scene was the exact same scene I experienced with that shadow the night before. I still was unable to move on my own. I then became sleepy and collapsed as she walked off. I wanted to shout wait but there was no voice coming out of my mouth. I was so terrified at that moment."
"That is horrible, I feel really sorry for you to remember something like that. So you finally know about yourself right?"
"Not really, I don't know who I am, what her name was, all I remember is that one night. And it is terrifying me. I'm afraid."
"Maybe it is best if you don't remember then, Ocean." Fluttershy smiled at him.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I really need to know, I have to save my sister. I can feel she is around somewhere but I don't know where. I actually wanted to ask you to come with me at Twilight's. She gave me a book I should read. It stated something about Loyalty and Kindness and that they are the key to open the gate with Magic. And that way I can find out the truth. I think, you and Rainbow Dash are the keys to open that gate. It all makes sense. You represent Kindness and Loyalty, I am supposed to meet Twilight, where I'm supposed to be when I fall asleep. And since the "gate" should be opened with magic, it has to be Twilight, who leads me there. Do you understand?"
"I don't really understand what you mean with all that but if I'm able to help you if I come along, I will come of course."
"Thanks Fluttershy."
"Is that the reason you talked to Dashie earlier?"
"Exactly, I need the help of both of you."
"Shall we get going then? We don't want Twilight to wait, right?"
The two of them decided to go to Twilight's then, in front of the house they noticed Rainbow Dash waving at them.
"You're so slow, hurry it up a bit, slowpoke!" Rainbow Dash shouted reckless.
When they knocked at the door, Twilight welcomed them.
"Good, the preparations are done, I knew you'd figure it out. Come on in then."
Twilight lead Ocean up the stairs and pointed at the bed. At the head of the bed, there was a helmet.
"What's that helmet for?" Ocean asked.
"We're going to monitor your dream. We will not be able to see what is happening, neither will we hear anything. This helmet only reacts to your emotions and feelings. If we notice you could be harmed, we will make sure to wake you up before that happens so there should be no danger for you. Now lie down please so we can start."
"Alright then, but Twilight? What if I remember? What if I know my identity, what am I supposed to do then?"
"Well, you can just live in Ponyville with us, why shouldn't you?"
"Yeah, silly question of mine, let's go."
Ocean has a feeling of uneasiness when he lied down on the bed, the helmet adjusted to his head.
"You should try to sleep now. We'll be watching over you."
"Hey why am I here then? Just sitting here watching you sleep is so boring!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Well, it would be best if Fluttershy would explain you. Could you do that for me, Fluttershy?"
"Oh, um yes, don't worry, Ocean." Fluttershy replied.
Ocean then closed his eyes, he suddenly felt really sleepy, is it because of the helmet?
When he came to, he noticed, he was in a house, as he went outside he noticed it didn't look like ponyville at all. It seemed like a cold world. Neither sun, nor moon was visible on the sky. As he went on on the street he noticed a filly in the distance. He ran up to her, as she noticed him and ran off, however this time, Ocean was able to catch up to her. It was some filly he didn't know. She had black fur and a blue mane but something about her reminded him of her sister.
"Who are you?" Ocean asked.
"Sorry I can't tell you." she replied.
"Please, I need to know."
The filly then ran off again, however Ocean was faster than the filly and eventually caught up to her again.
"I won't let you leave until you tell me."
"I think, you already know who I am. Leave me alone, I don't want you to follow me!"
She started running off again, however no matter how fast she ran, Ocean always caught up to her.
"Listen, I really need to be alone, you're not even supposed to see me. How come you are wandering around here anyway? I thought everypony was gone."
"What do you mean by everypony was gone?"
The filly then rammed Ocean who staggered a little. She ran off again. Ocean knew she was hiding something and he caught up to her again. This time they ended up in front of a huge run down house.
"Listen, you'll regret following me if you follow me again, stay out of my business, I don't want to hurt you."
"I told you already I won't let you leave until you tell me."
Ocean then pinned the pony down.
"Care to tell me now? I won't let you leave, didn't I tell you?"
"Why are you even doing this? Can't you leave me already!?"
"Oh no..." The filly screamed, asked Ocean to let her go. "Let me go already, I told you, you'll regret it! Leave now!
Ocean didn't think of leaving, still having her pinned down, he noticed the filly started to change her color. Ocean then noticed this filly was a filly he knew, it was her sister. But why did she have black fur, why can she change her color. What happened to her?
Shocked, Ocean let go of his sister as she ran into the building. Ocean could do nothing but stare at the house her sister just went inside.
"Just what the buck happened to you...?"
Ocean then decided to take a look into the big house, hoping to find his sister and the answers he was looking for. Why doesn't he remember anything. Who is he? What happened to him? Who is his sister? So far all he has found are more questions that need to be answered.
